Are you new to the site and unsure of what to do? Are you an old member who is out of practice? Are you just utterly confused by the Zetaboards format and need a little guidance? Are you a little obsessive-compulsive and want to make sure you don't miss a single step? Well, whatever the reason, you've come to the right place! This is a quick and simple guide for members, listing everything one needs to know and do upon joining Envious Magic. Just make your way through the steps so that you can merrily be on your way to joining the ranks of the wonderfully creative minds of those who reside here! To become a member on Envious Magic 1. Read through the Information and Updates forum to get a grasp of our various rule sets which are to be followed by all visitors to our site. 2. The F.A.Q. is also a great place to find more information on how things are done here at Envious Magic. 3. Reading our current Plot should be especially helpful in catching you up to where we are, and where we are headed, and will also aid you in making your decision of whether or not to join. 4. Once you have read the above topics and are ready to join, please register your character. This means using a first and last name. If you have already registered and need your name changing, post here to let us know and an Administrator will assist you. 5. When you have registered properly, read through our Sorting Rules to make sure you understand them, and then write and post your character's Sorting as a new topic in our Sorting Ceremony forum. 6. Once an Administrator has Sorted you, you must then post your character's Ministry File here. Be sure to read the appropriate pinned topic and use the posting guides outlined in such before creating the topic. 7. Now you can start roleplaying! You do not have to wait for your Ministry File to be accepted to begin doing so, but you must have been Sorted into a House first! Have fun!! (We may expand this list as more content and options become available.) |
