Well, here she was, back again to spend another year. Not that she was complaining, quite the opposite. Although she would never say it outwardly in vocal words, Brid enjoyed her time at Hogwarts. Not that she didn't enjoy her time at home; the pampering, the boys of the neighbourhood fighting for her attentions, her family spoiling her as she had always been spoiled. It had been a wonderful summer, but for some reason, this felt more like home now. With her friends here and her magical abilities finally coming to fruitation, it was exhilirating to think on what the year could bring. The tower was completely deserted. Not surprising! Most of the students were back in their common rooms mingling with their friends. Brid had been down there with them for a while, laughing away and making life miserable for the first years, but after awhile, she had had enough. And when Brid has had enough, there was only one place for her to go. And here she stood, her sleek body leaning over the side of the railing, her silver eyes riveted on the night sky above her. Yes, she was a Slytherin, mean and spiteful and sometimes extremely shallow, but she was also quite the dreamer and the night sky offered so many possibilities for dreams. The moon was but a thin silver crescent in the sky, casting no light upon the darkened grounds, but the stars were shining so brightly that they seemed to be pulsating with life. A gently breeze picked up, making her long hair flare up and dance gently to an unheard song. Brid sighed, pushing herself up before walking to the outstretched platform. Sitting down, she stretched her legs out, now removed from her school robes and decorated with her emerald green leggings. She shivered very slightly in the night, wishing she had at least brought her cloak to cover the v-necked t-shirt she wore. Oh well, she wasn't going back down for it now. Leaning back on her hands, she tilted her head back with a sigh, closed her eyes and let the wind play havoc on her locks. Edited by Colby, May 15 2012, 11:59 PM.
