Quest Setup – 4/9/2011 – The Rise of Eoria With the revolution successful, the leaders of the rebellion begin to repair the damage they caused to the kingdom. Stormkeep, now rebuilt as Eoria, is rising from the ashes, and prosperity already seems to the common man within reach. With the kingdom’s leaders actively participating in the reformation, the people have a future to hope for. Eoria, however, is currently in shambles. With the effort focused on the actual rebuilding of cities, little attention is being given to reestablishing the kingdom’s armies. With both of the two great guilds in disarray from the loss of their leaders, – as well as, frankly, most of their members – and the Imperial Army completely dismantled, the entire kingdom’s defense is left to the Wizard King and his allies. News of Eoria’s state is spreading quickly throughout the surrounding kingdoms. Several countries, ecstatic at the fall of the Tyrant King, have sent aid to Eoria to assist in its reconstruction. Eoria, in need of these resources, eagerly awaits this generous offer, as it will surely expedite the process of rebuilding. Other countries, however, see this as an opportunity to expand their own borders. Relentlessly they have sent armies to conquer the broken kingdom, and retrieve its resources. On top of the encroaching armies, orcs and goblins from the western mountains have also grown daring. The absence of the Imperial Army at the kingdom’s borders has given these creatures more than enough reason to begin harassing the countryside. As news of these approaching threats reaches Eoria, the Wizard King and his allies have no choice but to stop building orphanages and donating to charities to defend the kingdom. With two large threats on the move, they have no choice but to meet the courier mid route and secure the resources before they are lost to enemies. Teams and Objectives: Eoria – Stop the advancing enemy forces. Capture, kill, or drive back both the goblin horde and the enemy armies. Obtain the resources being delivered to Eoria. Enemy Armies – Successfully invade Eoria. Kill or capture the Eorian Army, and obtain the resources that are being delivered to them. The goblin horde isn’t your prime concern, and is actually a benefit to you. If they get in your way, however, move them out of your way. Goblin Horde – Make life unpleasant for everyone. Seriously, everyone. Kill both the Eorian Army and the Enemy Armies, and try to get the resources being delivered. You don’t know what they do, but chances are there’s something shiny in that bag. Rundown of the Quest: This is a RESOURCE mission. The goal is to capture the RESOURCES being delivered. A courier will be walking between a personal spawn point and the Eorian spawn point, and deliver RESOURCES five times. The goal of Eoria is to assist the courier, and gather all five RESOURCE POINTS. The goal of the Enemy Army is to SUBDUE the courier, and take all five RESOURCE POINTS for themselves. The goal of the Goblin Horde is to either PREVENT the RESOURCES from being delivered at all, or to SUBDUE the courier and take the RESOURCE POINTS for themselves. Lets not kid ourselves, though. Goblins aren't very goal oriented. The courier is unarmed, and will not flee from enemies. Only the courier may deliver resources to Eoria, however any player on the other two teams may take the RESOURCES themselves and continue delivery. You MUST WALK SLOWLY while carrying the RESOURCES, as they are HEAVY. Should an enemy team be slain, and/or drop the resources, the courier must be escorted to them before gathering them and continuing delivery. The game is finished when all five resources have been delivered. Teams: Teams are to be decided over the forums. Please post which team you would like to be on in this thread, and I will update accordingly. The Eorian Army------------------------------------------------------The Enemy Army Xeno--------------------------------------------------------------------Conor Phil----------------------------------------------------------------------Robert Evan---------------------------------------------------------------------Amy Jen-----------------------------------------------------------------------________________ _____-------------------------------------------------------------------_________________ The Goblin Horde Danny ____________ ____________ ____________ ____________ The game assumes 15 people, including munchkins that show up. If we don’t have 15, well we’ll figure something out. If we have more than 15, well we’ll figure something out. If you are a goblin, please check out the goblin class here: http://amtwiki.net/amtwiki/index.php/Goblin Notes: This is a BATTLEGAME Scenario – Please prepare a CLASS to play. This is a ROLEPLAYING Scenario – Though you don’t have to roleplay, it is encouraged. MAGIC will be in full effect this game. Please make sure to familiarize yourself with spells that might be used on you. If you are a MAGIC CLASS, please make sure you have a list of your abilities for the battle game as per the Amtgard Rulebook. Level 1 players have 10 magic points to spend. Level 2 players have 10 points in each level tree to spend. To SUBDUE an enemy, shout “SUBDUE” on a melee attack that would otherwise be fatal. The player hit by a “SUBDUE” attack is considered unconscious for 60 seconds, and may be moved, though equipment may not be destroyed. STAB attacks can not be used to SUBDUE. If I can be a goblin, I would find that to be quite fun. Much as I might want to try my hand at my druidic magic some more, I cannot resist the zany antics of goblins. |

"Note: If you are a character in a story of British folklore — and this is very important — DON'T TRAVEL ANYWHERE. Seriously, everything waylays you. Only a few creatures are out there who will fix your shoes — the rest are there to eat you as you're trying to go somewhere. I mean it." -Doug Beyer | |

I want to play goblins, but I really want to use my great spear. So I think I'll be on the enemy's army. |
