TO MY HORSES: You carry me without judgment and without complaint. You catch my tears in your thick mane. When I feel alone, you love me. The times I feel the most lost, you have helped me find the way home. My deepest love I give to you and my promise to you is that you ALWAYS have a safe and loving home....it's the LEAST I can do for all you've done for me...Thank you. (Sharon Stone)

Well, not including the husband although I swear he may be the most feral of them all......lol.

3 cats - Wags, Spot and Mayhem. All came from RSPCA.

Wags is ginger and white, and got his name because he has a very short, kinked tail. The whole tail is there, but I guess he must have been squahsed in utero, as it's all squished up and it really looks like a fluffy ball on the end of a short tail! Wags was born on the day hubby and I had our first date, we've had him 8 years now (so he is 8yo, naturally).

Spot is a female ginger. She is about 9 or 10 years old, not sure exactly, and is very small. People often mistake her for a kitten. She is quite timid, and is MY cat and my cat only. She runs away from most other people. From what we know of her, she was a stray, perhaps even a feral cat, and has had kittens. She mothers our other cats all the time, and is a very good mouser - handy at the moment with the numbers of mice around!

Mayhem is the baby of the feline family. He's about 3yo now. He's a dark tabby, almost black. We went to RSPCA for a dog, and ended up in the kitten area. We played with a few, but they were quite timid, and we like cats with a bit of go. Then we saw this little black flash in one of the cages, and asked for him. The woman said to us "are you sure, he's really naughty?" Yep. We knew. He's curled up behind me at the moment, but when he gets up he is still a feral, naughty cat. Wouldn't change him for anything.

We have 2 dogs too!

Matilda is our JRT, she is about 2 1/2yo now. She came from a friend's litter. My hubby hates her, as with most JRT's she is a bit of a wanderer and fulll of energy! I am just starting to teach her agility - she loves it, but with the short attention span it will be a challenge!

Our newest addition is Zoe Sparkles. (Named by my kids!) She's a cattle dog - Dad is a stumpy and mum has a tail. Zoe got a tail too, lol. She's about 3 months old. As with most cattle dogs, she's a great little guard dog! Hubby has already taken her fishing, and even though he didn't want another dog when I told him she was available, he's now claimed her as his!
