Me, Dan and two friends have a band these days, in a month or so we're gonna open at a CD launch for another band that go to our church. We just doin covers, so yeah, bit of fun is all. Point is, we need a name.....any suggestions? Nothin hardcore, its punk I spose you could say, if that helps. Can be a joke name, could be a made-up word, phrase, could be a typical punk rock one (Green Day, Sum 41, NoFX, Relient K, etc)...whatever, just cool to hear some suggestions from this creative bunch since we haven't got anything yet. |

How about this, since your on TNT, how about you call yourselves "TNT" Your first album can be called "X-plosive" It's simple, yet somewhat corny, It may just work. |

It is corny, I'll give you that. As for an album, very unlikely at this stage with Dan being in uni, me in last year of school and the two others, despite being rad at their instruments, being a bit younger. But its the best so far! |

Yeah... T.N.T, Lol. Could stand for "The New Talent" Ok, nevermind that. I'm not into Punk Rock so I wouldn't be much help.

Doesn't matter, any suggestions are good. Doesn't have to be exclusively a punkish name...The Ramones, Bouncing Souls, Motion City Soundtrack, these are punk bands but their names could be for different genres, just like lots of names. Just like Foley said with wrestling, a name doesn't make you, but a bad name can break you. Not like we have anything to be broken...we just don't wanna get mocked by our friends. |

Fairly religious, but that names a bit obvious, hehe. The newest ones we've thought of are Damascus and The Road Less Travelled...which sounds more like an album name, anyway. Like them better than the previously mentioned ones? First one I had was Licensed to Jam but apparently it sounds like a rap group name, whatever. |

My suggestions for a band name: Sitting Duck The Dirt Merchants Somebody's Cousin ("Who's playing tonight?" "I dunno... Somebody's Cousin.") Chris Crucifix & the Knights Templar The Breadwinners The Banana Benders Oh, and Ash, "Bom-Bay-Ye" is what natives chanted for Muhammed Ali when he was preparing for the Rumble in the Jungle. They would chant "Ali Bom-Bay-Ye!" which roughly means "Ali, kill him!" Antonio Inoki stole it from Ali because Inoki thinks he's King Shit of Fuck Mountain, when in reality he's just an old coot who will probably be killed by Royce Gracie. |
