The last movie that I saw was Troy, and I loved it. Great Action simple. I also liked how they kept with myth's of Ackeles (<-Spelling) and the Trojan Horse. I felt that this was one of Brad's best rolls as the leading actor, and best roll since Fight Club.

However, I felt that they typecasted Orlando Bloom as a bad ass archer, but I feel that Bloom is coming to his own as an actor.

The rest of the cast made the film great.

Rating: ****

I'll rate the last two movies I saw.

White Noise: Had some interesting scare factor and quite suprisingly and interesting plot. However when push comes to shove things got cheesy and I got bored. I'll give this movie: ***1/2

Meet the Fockers: This was my highly anticipated movie of the year and with that it did not fail my expectations. It was just as good as the last if not better than Meet the Parents. Can't wait to buy it on DVD. I'll give this movie: ****

Since I too have recently went and saw those to movies I'll do them as well.

White Noise: OMG did they fuck up what could have been the scariest movie since the 6th Sense, I was so disappointed in this movie. I had it figured out half way through, and I mean every plot twist wasn't a shock to me, I felt that they ruined the whole bloody thing. For those who remember my posts at the other board, remember I was pshyced out to see this film. Argh Uber shitfest.

Rating -*

Meet the Fockers: One word: Hilarious

I felt that this movie was better than the orginal, Dustin Hoffman stole the show, and DiNiro and Stiller still had the great on screen chymistery that they had in "Parents."

Rating ****

Troy: I saw it in theaters when it came out and I didn't like it THAT much. Though I did get it on DVD and have to say that after watching it again, I really liked it a lot. I liked Brad Pitt's and Eric Bana's portrayals of Achilles and Hector, respectively. Orland Bloom's character of Paris didn't come off as a badass archer to me. I think them building the fact that he was pretty much a pussy as a fighter and had to resort to fighting from a distance gave me that idea.

Meet the Fockers: Not as good as I expected, but still damn hilarious. I left the theater wanting to call everybody Dom Focker...and I do. Dom Fockers.

Resident Evil: Apocolypse: I loved the first and this one surpassed it. The characters were awesome, the action was awesome, and there was zombie boobs, which are nasty, but funny as hell. The L.J. character is freaking HILARIOUS.

The Village: I wanted to see it in theaters but was very skeptical because of Signs. While I did like Signs, I felt it kind of let me down at the end, and I half expected that from The Village. The end was a bit of a let down, but was still way cool. I have to say I'm glad I got the DVD.

White Noise: Passable thriller, pretty entertaining. Fudges all the known facts about EVP, but it can get away with that, 'cause I'd rather see Michael Keaton get spooked than a bunch of people sit around listening to tapes of White Noise and going "oooooh"

***Spoilers***

White Noise: Like Steve and Jordan I expected more of this movie and instead of having them explore the EVp they made up some dumb story about a guy who torhcers young women. It started off really good and then continued to bore me through the rest of the film. The ending where that girl turns around was completely unecessary.

Elektra: I thought this one looked cool and it was ok for what it was worth. It definitely had some kill bill-esque (SIC) moments that were cool but a lot of "talking" moments which put me to sleep. Literally. The graphics and fight scenes are OK but it was missing something.

Garden State: Fuckin' genious. I loved this movie and hope to but it very soon. The whole feeling about losing home is gold and something I can relate to. It was better than Eternal Sunshine and Lost in Translation which I both enjoyed.

Anchor Man: Hilarious! I rented this movie the other day and couldn't stop laughing. This and Dodge Ball are some of the best new comedies recently. The cameos are great, especially one in particular that you wouldn't expect.

Team America: World Police: HI-larious! If you like Matt & Tray and their antics you'll love this. It would be funny if it were real actors but for some reason puppets make it even funnier, from the way they walk to the ridicules way they fight, and of course, puppet sex. There are so many famous actors created in puppet form to represent the Film Actors Guild, or F.A.G., from Alec Baldwin to Sam Jackson. Keep an eye out for Matt Damon, he's the funniest. And the music is just hilarious, every song will have you laughing.

**** out of 5. Though there's a possibility it'll get less funny the more you watch, as some of the humour comes from the unique fact that they're puppets, which obviously you'd be used to after a few viewings.

Me and my mate Smalls fell asleep in Troy. Maybe should watch it in daylight.

Last movie I saw was....

Ladder 49

I thought it was actually real good. Different from most movies cos it was told in flashbacks and was basically covered the life of this firefighter played by Joquain Pheonix (Caesar from Gladiator). He did a real good job, John Travolta was good too, even if u don't like him. Bit of an unexpected ending, but alas, made the movie better I spose.

If you're American and feeling patriotic you'll love this. But I'm not American, I still enjoyed and appreciated it, as did Dan, my mates and our dads.

I'll give it 4 outta 5.
