World Wrestling Entertainment has ended its relationship with Deep South Wrestling. For the past two years, DSW has served as one of WWE's developmental territories. Check back here as more information becomes available.

Can't say I'm sad about it, from what I've heard DSW has been a nightmare since it started out two years ago. With nothing being set up properly and most of the wrestlers down there needing to be transferred to OVW before the WWE brass were content with their "training", ect. So, guess that means a lot of workers will be transferred over to OVW now (and more than likely those that don't fired). Also heard that they are trying to get Lance Storm to agree to make his training school into their new secondary dev camp.

If they manage to do such a thing I think it can be nothing but good for business. Only set back is, at least from his website and interviews he had since he retired, Lance isn't exactly jumping for joy to go back to the WWE "family". Which is a shame, since if his RoH match was any hint, Lance's still got the tools to make (or help prepare) wrestlers to be stars. Then again, any thing would be better than Billl DeMott I imagine (the guy who ran the training side of DSW).

Up until now I can't really say I've ever heard of DSW. Tells you how much I follow the smaller parts of the business. So to say that I really care is like you guys saying you can't wait until Great White Hype's next match. That's right! I can go there too!
Party on,
Joe.

Follow Pet's Twitter if you don't mind...you know, Pet being Pet. Also, she tends to mention it a fair bit. (NSFW)

DSW or Deep South Wrestling was meant to handle the OVW overflow but apparently to no avail.

And Oni to be fair, I hear that Bill is a fairly decent fundementalist (sp?) and while he is no Storm or Finlay, he did an ok job.
