Credit: Wrestlingexposed.com Doubt it'll be acknowledged, but I found it interesting that there was a women's title change (technically two) on one of the house shows. |

My guess is that it was a botched result. Victoria probably forgot to kick out or something and, as such, they had to fix it before rolling onto the next show. |

Or you could believe it was just a piece of interesting booking, having an unexpected title change and then having a rematch on the same card would be exciting to see at a house show instead of the same old retaining that happens at most of the house shows. Personally I'd like to look on the "it was all booked" side simply because it's more pleasent then someone forgetting to kick out or having that fact knocked out of them by a botched move. |

Well, yeah.. But surely, switching the belt to a face on a house show is going to make people feel good. Having a rematch less than an hour later and switching the title back to the heel is gonna cause a disturbance. It would be nice to think it was done purposely. In which case, are they going to register it. And if it was done as a treat for the fans, maybe the shoulder consider doing it more often.. |

Actually Ash, up until the mid-90s it wasn't unheard of for them to do this on house shows (without acknowledging the title changes). Most commonly it was done to test out the reaction a certain wrestler would get when he (or in this case, she) won said belt. I believe they stopped doing it because 1.)People started to smarten up and realize that if it happened, more than likely the person who won the belt (only to lose it later) was probably gonna win it on TV soon and 2.)The "Luger Incident". (Lex Luger had won the WWF World belt on several house shows in a similar manner and Vince had saw it get a good reaction. So, it was all set to have Luger win the belt at the next PPV...when Luger like a genius blurted out that result on a radio interview. This resulted in him being punished by jobbing in the title match.) |

The first point makes sense, Oni. But the second part not so much nowadays. Because if a wrestler's a big of an idiot he can just blurt out the result that he wins a belt in any sort of match. Not necessarily just in this situation. |

You have to remember the time frame though Kyle, when Luger said this wrestling was seen as a "legit sport" still. As you can imagine, Vince wasn't too happy about his kayfabe being shattered thanks to Luger. |

Well, yeah, I understand that the times were different. But now it wouldn't be so unscene, I guess you could say. People are so used to dirt sheets that it wouldn't be as HUGE. |

Two-time Women's Champion for Mickie! I hope they do acknowledge it. Because now she's on her way to breaking Trish's record. Yeah right. I doubt WWE will let anyone break that record anytime soon. *hopes though* |

Technically that'd be her third time as Women's Champion if it were counted. See, she's a little closer to Trish's outrageous number. |

Oh, that's right. I forgot about her reign between Lita and Melina. Speaking of which, is Melina's second reign (if this is counted) gonna be over soon? I really don't care for her. |

Yeah, same here. I enjoyed her when she was apart of MNM, because she added some oomph to the stable besides Joey and Johnny's obvious in-ring skills. In a perfect world Victoria would regain it, then go on to show all of them how it's done. |

In a perfect world.. Daizee Haze would jump the rails and steal the belt from Melina, thus declaring herself the Women's Champion in her own bizarre way.. |
