The USA Today has published an article on Jon Favreau's Iron Man movie that includes a new photo from the film. Here's a clip:

"We didn't want to just go with a safe choice," Favreau says from the set of the film, due in theaters May 2, 2008. "The best and worst moments of Robert's life have been in the public eye. He had to find an inner balance to overcome obstacles that went far beyond his career. That's Tony Stark. Robert brings a depth that goes beyond a comic-book character who is having trouble in high school, or can't get the girl. Plus, he's simply one of the best actors around."

I'm still wary about the cast really, I have no doubt in Downey, but I never really liked Paltrow.

Downey's a great actor and a very fitting choice for Stark. Shame Iron Man's such a dick.

I forsee an Iron Man/Spider-man crossover someday in the future. I think it'll go a little something... likea this.

Iron Man: Hey there, Spidey.

Spider-man: Hey Iron Man. How--

Iron Man: *PUNCH IN THE FACE*

Spider-man: OW!

Iron Man: Let that be a lesson to you. *flies off*

Spider-man: Jerk.

Iron Man: *flies back* By the way, I'm rich and always surrounded by hot women. *PUNCH IN THE FACE* *flies off*

So long as Singer is set to direct, the internet fan community will love it.

There's nothing wrong with being a dick that has a drinking problem. Iron Man/Stark deals with his problems the way a man should, bottling them up and trying to drown them in a sea of booze. Several of the emotional and caring heroes should follow his lead.

And as for Wight's cross-over you can't tell me that wouldn't be great, seeing Spidey getting punched in the face for no reason, the only thing that could make it better is if after punching him in the face he tells him to "Harden the fuck up".

I dont know about seeing Spidey punched in the face...that guy takes enough beatdowns as it is!

However I would definately LOVE to see Tobey Mc.Guire get punched in the face by Iron Man...hes suck a fucking dickhead! Although I love the Spidey Movies, I definately hate the cast for their shalow, bratty acting ways! The fact is before AND after Spider-Man, Kirsten and Tobey were both nobodys and will continue to be... They may as well keep repraising their roles.

I know a lot of other people who feel the same about their punk asses.
