July 17th, something amazing will drop. "M.L.K.: Misery Loves Kompany," you just simply ain't ready. 17 ALL NEW Tracks from Tech N9ne featuring such artists as Yukmouth, T-Nutty, D-Loc & Dalima, Greed, Money Hungry, Big Scoob (of the 57th Street Rogue Dog Villians), Joe Vertigo, Shadow, The P.H.I.L.S.T.A. and Mr. Reece aswell as fellow label mates Big Krizz Kaliko, Kutt Calhoun, Skatterman & Snug Brim and Prozak. This album will have a significantly different sound to Everready, mainly because of the Southern Bass brought to the project from an Alabama native producer, David Sanders as he controls the boards for nearly half the album. Seven makes a strong outing aswell, following in the footsteps of Everready, Seven once again assumes production duties on a great chunk of the album. Rob Rebeck makes yet another appearance as Producer on the final songs on the album, and if his prior works with Tech (I'm A Playa, I'm A Playa Remix, Riot Maker, Little Pills) point out anything, this should hold it down nicely. Confirmed Tracks: Midwest Choppers (ft. Big Krizz Kaliko and D-Loc & Dalima) You Don't Want It (ft. Big Krizz Kaliko, Mr. Reece and Prozak) (produced by Rob Rebeck) Travis, Tech and the Strange Crew have been nice enough to let us hear Midwest Choppers, all SIX MINUTES & THIRTY SECONDS worth! Check out Tech N9ne's MySpace or Virb for your chance to hear one TRULY amazing track. For those curious, the breakdown of Midwest Choppers looks like this: First Verse: Tech N9ne Second Verse: Tech N9ne Third Verse: D-Loc Fourth Verse: Dalima Fifth Verse: Big Krizz Kaliko Chorus: Tech N9ne Go... Listen... NOW, when your done? Go and pre-order your very own copy of M.L.K.! PS--Travis has stated that he has a Surprise, it will be revealed the first week of June, so stay tuned for that! PS2-- Yes, I know I probably sound like SUCH a fanboy right now, but I'm dead serious! |

I've never heard of Tech N9ne, but from the hype this topic was giving them, I was expecting another emo band. I figured I'd listen to "Midwest Chopper", just to see how it sounded and I'll admit I was surprised that it was a hip-hop/rap fusion thing. Still, I didn't like it -_- |

Haha, nah, Tech's not an Emo Band, not a them though either. Understandable you didn't like it, since it sounds like you go for more of the Rock genre, so no gripes from me. I guess I just assumed most around here would know Tech was a rapper given the exposure in the past from myself, Matt, Jason and a few others, thus those non-rap fans would know to stop reading when they read "Tech N9ne," Lol. |
