Cult Classic Wrestling! I remember that place. Good times. Noam Dar is my jam and I'm glad people are getting on board. Give me more of the sleaze, please. Haven't watched SD due to work, but I'll put my thoughts once I see it. That said, 205 Live is my show and I hope it succeeds. |

So, I've just watched all of 205 Live on the Network (fast forwarding past what I don't care about) and I have to say it's pretty damn entertaining. - TJ Perkins remains my favorite part of the Cruisers but he needs more confidence when cutting promos. It's the only thing I think that holds him back, which is strange because he oozes charisma in the ring. - Cedric Alexander is so great to watch do literally everything. - I'm all about the Noam Dar sleaze. He's phenomenal. - I really like Ariya Daivari for no particular reason other than that I loved his brother. I wish he'd come back and they'd form a tag team. We could use Cruiserweight Tag titles on this show. They were hotness in WCW. Plus it would get the Bollywood Boys some more screen time. I also started watching NXT. That was always a show that I watched here and there but never remembered to tune in regularly. Since NXT Takeover: Toronto I've kind of had my eyes open to some talent on there that I like enough to make the effort to tune in, but I'm curious who is actually favorites on that show? As in, who do you guys watch that show for? - Samoa Joe is amazing. I love everything about him from the way he carries himself to his mic skills and especially the way he wrestles. He's just the best and a tremendous top heel. - Tye Dillinger is probably my favorite thing about NXT. I'm so frustrated with his booking, but I think that's supposed to be the point of him right now (or at least I hope that's the point so it can turn around for the poor guy!). - Asuka is, of course, the greatest thing to happen to women's wrestling since Lita in the Attitude Era. Things I do not understand in NXT: the popularity of DIY and Shinsuke Nakamura. I don't get it. |

I could not agree more on those two points. Samoa Joe definitely is amazing as is Asuka. I have yet to see 205 Live and I haven't seen NXT in a really long time. Probably since Takeover: Toronto, and even then I don't recall seeing the entire show. That being said, though, from what I have seen, I agree it would be cool seeing Shawn Daivari back. Having him tag with his brother would be awesome. TJP and Cedric Alexander remain on my list of the best Cruiserweights in the business from what I've seen. I'd seen several matches with Cedric before he'd even joined WWE and I was a fan of his even then. I'm also a big fan of Nakamura, but to be fair, it has less to do with his gimmick and the whole "presentation" as it were and more to do with his in-ring skill and overall charisma and such. And now I just realized I'm completely missing RAW. I'll have to check out the highlights on YouTube to see what I missed in this first hour. |

I've only seen DIY when they wrestled each other during the CWC. I thought it was a very good match. I've yet to see them as a tag team though. I could not agree more with Nakamura though. Other then his match with Zayn I've yet to be impressed. I hate his gimmick and don't see it going anywhere on the main roster. Asuka is amazing! I just don't know who I can see being realistic enough to beat her or even present a challenge to her. |

Looks like Nakamura's Kinshasa needs to impress folks! He's glorious and a bounty of joy! He's a six foot two Japanese man! He's got oodles of charisma and I need to watch his matches on NXT cuz all I got is what I can find on YouTube. Asuka is great, her whimsy is top notch. Raw has been kinda stagnant, nothing has been extraordinary. Other than Seth saying he's going to "peach" people a lesson... I smell a Botchamania entry |

DIY have had a year of getting to the place where they are now, so I'm more than ok with them as champs. They had a great match in the CWC, a really good match at Brooklyn, and in all honesty the best match of 2016 against The Revival. Speaking of which, The Revival easily have to be the team of the year because hot damn they've had Top 10 matches throughout the year. I honestly think the Bollywood Boys should be in NXT where they can get more seasoning because I'm not sure they're ready for the main stage. Shinsuke is a good wrestler, but I agree that it's the presents room as a wholethat really brings you in. I think he needs to go to the main roster soon, but that's mainly because I'm tired of his feud with Joe and want both of them on the main roster. |

So on one forum, liking RAW over SD and liking Reigns at all is considered heresy. So I am a proud heretic. This RAW was not great, certainly, but it was good. |

If this Miz/Ambrose feud is not leading to Maryse and Renee in the ring together then I am going to be very disappointed. I'd even take a Mixed Tag match where Renee doesn't want to be in there but doesn't have a choice. I need to see Maryse wrestling again. |

SD was action packed and felt like the better show by far this week. Fluid transition, a shocking tag title result, a strong women's match and a really solid triple threat that showcased all three talents. SD! Just flows better without feeling too stretched out, the half roster really hurts that three hour run time, especially with the weaker talent pool on Raw. What with Brock and Goldberg, two of the mainstream talents not being around to promote themselves sadly

I just don't feel the energy from Smackdown that others seem to be feeling. Outside of Alexa Bliss, I can pretty much take or leave the entire SD roster (at least until Maryse gets back in the ring... please please please let that be happening). Not that RAW is jam packed or anything. Honestly, the only thing that draws my interest on RAW is any time Nia Jax gets to come out (which is not often and not for very long) and when the Cruisers get to show up. I mean, I love Seth Rollins but I'm tired of him feuding with Chris Jericho. I'm kind of tired of Chris Jericho altogether. |

I like RAW better overall, and not just because of Reigns. And SD gave me more reason to hate it as Wyatt lost the tag belts and FUCKING CENA is back. And he's hogging the main event spotlight again. |

So thoughts on Raw/SD this week Raw -Never wanna see Titus O'Neal dance ever again. -Foley can't cut hair. -Sami/Braun had a great match. -Goldberg likes to yell, and stick Mics in his mouth. -The Cruiserweight have old school Divas piss break length matches. SD! -Ziggler turned heel and headbutts Apollo backstage. I like this. -Baron is just the bee's knees but having him come out and be the least energetic in the AJ/Cena promo brawl was a bad move. While a dropkick of DOOM from AJ makes Cena fall down hard and long...uhm. K? -Becky is awesome but whoever is wearing the Los Luchadoras mask is either blind or green because they're sluggish and sloppy. -Dean wins the IC! I'm wondering where this Renee story line is going but with WWE's track record I dunno. |

My thoughts pretty much echo yours. Overall, both shows were solid, but they each had some missteps, I think. I'd say the best part of SD was the Ziggler heel turn. I feel like he lost something after he turned babyface, so hopefully that spark will come back as a heel. We'll see, though. I'm not sure that I can pick the best part for RAW. Maybe Cesaro/Karl Anderson? That was a good match, I think. Or Rollins/KO. |

Raws on and two matches went nowhere. Loved that Divas backstage segment though, escalated quick. Seems like they're gonna have a fatal four way. Austin Aries is a highlight every week on commentary. |

And my boy Roman lost the United States Championship to Jericho. More or less clean, too. If this leads to Finn Balor returning, winning the Rumble, and defeating Universal Champ Reigns at WM, I will be happy. Especially since I loved the match they had last year. |

Is anybody watching NXT Takeover: San Antonio tonight? I'm gonna have it on in the background as a couple matches have my moderate attention. - NXT Championship: Shinsuke Nakamura © vs. Bobby Roode - NXT Women's Championship: Asuka © vs. Nikki Cross vs. Billie Kay vs. Peyton Royce - Eric Young vs. Tye Dillinger - NXT Tag Team Championships: #DIY © vs. The Authors of Pain (with Paul Ellering) - Roderick Strong vs. Andrade Almas Card seems a little light, but I guess this is usual for an NXT special, no? The NXT Women's title match has me a little interested only because I love Asuka. I'm not particularly interested in any of her challengers. Nikki Cross is the only one that feels like a real threat, but even she's a bit too over the top in her gimmick sometimes for me to take her seriously. Billie Kay and Petyon have unfortunately felt like small time players trying to pretend they're big time players for a while. I'm not sure what they need to really get to that next level, but they haven't found it yet. Tye Dillinger vs. anyone will get me to tune in. I'm such a super fan of this guy. Finding out that his downloadable content was out got me playing WWE 2K17 again. I really hope they let him finally get a big win because he really deserves it. Though, I have a feeling he might be main roster bound and that he'll go out on his back tonight, debut as #10 at the Rumble, and potentially be a part of RAW moving forward. The rest of the show doesn't really excite me any. I miss seeing Joe on the show, but I think he's also main roster bound and has just been waiting for the Rumble. Shinsuke and Roode don't really do anything for me. #DIY does nothing at all for me. Andrade can be entertaining but there's something about him that just doesn't do it for me quite yet. I don't know what it is. |

I think the biggest reason for the light card is because, with the exception of a few people on there, they're essentially in rebuild mode right now what with all the main roster callups that had happened in the last several months. For that reason, I haven't actually seen NXT since the last Takeover special. I feel like all the main roster callups that have happened gutted the roster pretty badly and it's been tough, for me personally, to really tune in to watch the rebuild. Nonetheless, I'll be watching the show for sure. Out of the entire card, I'm a fan of Nakamura, Bobby Roode, Asuka, EY, Dillinger, and I think both Strong and Andrade are entertaining to watch, too. I agree there is something about Andrade that isn't completely working, but I'm not sure what it is either. So, I've at least got something to enjoy out of every match except the tag titles match. I do like Ciampa and Gargano as talents in the ring, but I feel like there's something missing with them by the same token. |

I did forget to mention that I was so amped up for the last special, that I feel like that this one just doesn't live up to it. But to be fair, the last special had Mickie James returning to WWE and, of course, Samoa Joe headlining the show. I do have to mention that I wasn't really aware of Tye Dillinger until that match with Bobby Roode where I became a super fan. So, maybe this show will turn me into a huge fan of someone I've not really given a proper chance to yet. Although, I always liked Shawn Spears and WANTED to be a fan but he was never really someone I could get behind until I saw him years later as Tye Dillinger at Takeover Toronto. |

That was the same reason I tuned into the Toronto show too. Initially it was to see the Joe/Nakamura match, but when I found out Mickie James was coming back, that pretty much solidified it for me. I had to see that. As far as Tye Dillinger, I hadn't been paying much attention to him until he started doing the "Perfect 10" gimmick two years ago, and even then it took some time for me to get into the gimmick. I wouldn't say I'm a super fan of his, but I'm slowly becoming a fan, though. Bobby Roode, on the other hand, I've been a fan of his for several years after seeing him in TNA a few times when TNA was actually worth watching (shocker, but it actually was at one point, lol). I became a fan of his when he was working with Frankie Kazarian in TNA. |
