Congratulations on your new best friend... the Time Wizard. Because you're so cool he's offered you a chance to book a wrestling dream card. He is willing to nab up to 30 wrestling personalities for an 8-match card, living or dead, from any point in their careers. Two rules; no duplicates (that would break time) and he can't go into the future or alternate dimensions where... say... Droz was never paralyzed.

What do you do?

In no particular order:

Shawn Michaels vs. Eddie Guerrero
Sting vs. The Undertaker
"Hollywood" Hulk Hogan vs. "Stone Cold" Steve Austin
The ELITE vs. The New Day
Bret Hart vs. Kurt Angle
Dean Malenko vs. Dynamite Kid vs. Chris Jericho vs. Jushin "Thunder" Liver
"Macho Man" Randy Savage vs. Owen Hart
The Steiner Brothers (92) vs. American Alpha

The main goal is a spectacle, with at least three matches designed to be workrate heavy. The Steiners vs. AA is a bit fan service, but it's something I just think would be wonderful to watch.

Ok here's mine. in somewhat of an order but not really.

1st Main Event would be: Rikidozan Vs Giant (Shohei) Baba Vs Antonio Inoki

Bigshow(Back when he won his first world title and was really good) Vs Andre the Giant(back in the 70's i guess/when he was in his prime though)

Tajiri; The Great Kabuki; The Great Muta Vs Los Ingobernables de Japon(Tetsuya Naito;Bushi; Sanada)

Kevin Steen Vs El Generico in a 3 stages of hell match(First would be a cage;next is a ladder;and final is a falls count anywhere)

The Midnight Express(Early 90's) Vs The Rock n' Roll Express(late 80's early 90's) Vs The All Night Express(when they won the tag titles in roh) All managed by the one and only Jim Cornet

Sting('99) Vs Undertaker('99)

Road Warriors Vs Bruiser Brody & Stan Hansen

Atsushi Onita Vs Cactus Jack Vs Terry Funk Vs Jun Kasai Vs Abdullah The Butcher in a no mat barbed wire rope light tube exploding death match (Second Main Event also but the last on the card)

Great idea for a post, Wight. The Goat People of Pluto will have a place for you at their right hooves when the world ends :)

This is in no particular order and is slighted heavily towards favoritism.

Lou Thesz (1952) vs Ric Flair (1989)

Sting (1997) vs The Undertaker (1998)

AJ Styles (current) vs. Shawn Michaels (1996)

Bret Hart (1994) vs. Kurt Angle (2001)

Mistico (2006) vs. Jushin Thunder Liger (2000)

The Freebirds (1981) vs. The Outsiders (1997)

Harlem Heat (1996) vs. The Road Warriors (1984)

Lita (2001) vs. Sasha Banks (current)

So far, Rob's show is the only one I'm paying to attend.

Rest of you and your no women's matches. I'm gonna make a card of nothing BUT women's matches!

If I shoehorn a woman's match (it's cool with the Time Wizard, I asked.), would you pay to see my show instead?

Depends on the women's match.

Rob's got one of my all-time favorites booked.

I don't even know 18 of the people ON your card. And four of the ones I know I couldn't even pick them out of a crowd!

But that Kevin Steen/El Generico match... I mean, I'd like it more if it were Sami Zayn because he's adorable to look at.

Sorry. Ima keep my $9.99.

I could easily see Alundra Blaze vs. Alexa Bliss, Mickie James vs. Lita, or Trish Stratus vs. Charlotte make it on the list. AJ Lee vs. Sasha would be fun as well.

For the most part, I went in reverse order from Main Event down to the Opener. The opening match was more of a wild card just for the sake of comedy. With the exception of the first 3 matches on this card, I sorta struggled with where to place the rest, but here they are.

  • Main Event: Bret Hart (1994-95) vs. Kurt Angle (2000-01)
  • Semi-Main Event: Dean Ambrose vs. Rowdy Roddy Piper (80s)
  • Alexa Bliss vs. Trish Stratus (1999-2000)
  • Jake "The Snake" Roberts vs. Bray Wyatt
  • Luke Harper vs. Bruiser Brody
  • Lita(2003) vs. Paige
  • World's Greatest Tag Team vs. American Alpha
  • The Shining Stars (Primo & Epico) vs. The Bodydonnas

This was a rough challenge, mostly due to numbers. Booked from opener to main event. Had to cut a lot of fun ideas to make things work, but I like it in the end. Good mix of everything I love in wrestling.

1. The Cube
Billy Gunn (1998) vs. Mike Knox (2009) vs. Gene Snitsky (2006) vs. Goldust (2014) vs. "Macho Man" Randy Savage (1987) vs. Sabu (1997)

2. The King vs. The Empress
Shinsuke Nakamura vs. Askua

3. Street Fight (Begins)
Al Snow (1998) vs. Darkness Crabtree

4. Lucha Libre Trios Match
Ophidian the Cobra, Lita (2004), and Ricochet vs. TJ Perkins, Phoenix, and Mickie James (2006)

5. Clash of the Innovators
Ultimo Dragon (1997) vs. Toshiaki Kawada (1994)

6. Survivor Series Elimination Match For Wrestling's Soul
Kevin Sullivan (Late 80's), Ultramantis Black, Bray Wyatt and The Undertaker (1999) vs. Hulk Hogan (1980), Kurt Angle (2006), Sting (1995), and John Cena

7. Street Fight (Ends)
Al Snow (1998) vs. Darkness Crabtree

8. Main Event - Singles Match for MY Soul
CM Punk vs. Shawn Michaels (1994)

Thank you for the kind words. Lita is probably my all-time favorite. She was doing things I had never seen a female athlete do before and it blew me away. I think Sasha Banks is kind of the standard-bearer these days and I really, REALLY like her work.

I have some known guys... maybe in japan, death match wrestling and from southern territories but still.I'll tell those who don't know these guys who they are than:
-Rikidozan is the man who brought pro wrestling to Japanese tvs. He's basically 80's hogan in the 50's-60's.Despite all of this though,He's actually born in a village that eventually ended up being in North Korea and he wrestled legends like freddie blasie, pat o'conor, kimura(the guy who made the kimura lock) and plenty of others. He died in the 60's i do believe by what many believe to be because of the Yakuza(Japanese Mafia).
-Giant (Shohei) Baba was trained by Rikidozan and was the founding father of All Japan Pro Wrestling,One of the longest running promotions in japan. He's had matches with Bruno Samartino, and all kinds of other legends.
-Antonio Inoki is a legend as well,He was the founding father of New Japan Pro Wrestling and i believe is the first ever IWGP heavyweight champion. He also beat Ric Flair in the main event of the largest attended wrestling event ever(at 190,000 people) in the first ever wrestling event in Pyongyang,North Korea. He also became a politician in his later years.
-Tajiri,Well you should know him,he's been in wwe and ecw.But he's done allot in japan as well and was trained by the great muta too.
-The Great Kabuki is an older wrestler who i believe is one of the very few if not the only man to wrestle in starcade and wrestle kingdom as well.He was the first to really make the mist popular.
-The great muta is a legend as well who has wrestled in wcw, tna, njpw, many other places too. He's had feuds with sting, ric flair, jushin liger and many others and really made the shining wizard, poison mist, dragonscrew neckwhip and muta lock all popular.Plus he's a huge influence on allot of my wrestlers(almost every one of them i've had here).

-Los Ingobernables de Japon well they're a heelish group who disrespect the titles and stuff.Just ccheck em out on youtube, they are very good.
-If you don't know the Midnight Express or Rock 'n Roll Express than you must be from up north or out west or something.lol especially the rnr those guys were like gods beck in the 80's in smokey mouuntain wrestling. Both were managed by Jim Cornet, whom if you don't know just watch the hof ceremony friday,he'll be there. He's one of the best managers of all time and the expresses are some of the greatest teams of all time.
-The all night express was another of cornets brain childs who was a team in roh till the traitor, aka kenny king jumped ship to tna and left his partner literally the night after they won the tag titles. But they were a cool team for a while.

-Road Warriors,Well everyone knows the Road Warriors right?T_T Right?
-Bruser Brody was an older wrestler who made his name in texas and ajpw i do believe.Him and stan hansen were one of the most dominant teams there. He had a rep for no selling and actually shooting in the middle of a match if he didn't like you or if you didn't sell enough or something like that.On July 16, 1988, Brody was in the locker room before his match with Dan Spivey in Bayamón (a city near San Juan, Puerto Rico), when José Huertas González, a fellow wrestler and booker,[5] asked him to go into the shower to discuss business. Brody entered the shower stall and a few minutes later a scuffle ensued, followed by two screams, loud enough for the entire locker room to hear. Tony Atlas ran to the shower and saw Brody bent over and holding his stomach. Atlas then looked up at González and saw him holding a knife.[6] Due to the heavy traffic outdoors and large crowd in the stadium it took paramedics close to an hour to reach Brody. When the paramedics arrived, Atlas helped carry Brody downstairs to the waiting ambulance as, due to Brody's enormous stature, paramedics were unable to lift him.[6].

-Stan Hansen made the lariat a ferocious move and was a stiff brawler. If you haven't heard he knocked vader's eye right out of socket in a match before too. He really made his name in japan but he's fought the funks, and actually broke brunno sammartinos neck in a match.
-Atsushi Onita is pretty much the godfather of death match wrestling. He's a legend in the field and has had many bouts with terry funk and cactus jack, among others. Check some of his stuff out on youtube it's insane and just purely amazing! He's also the founding father of FMW as well.
-Jun Kasai is another death match wrestler and has competed in czw and other places as well.I believe he's won or at least competed in the tournemnet of death as well. He's on the card purely because i'm a fan though.
-Abdullah The Butcher is proabably one of the most violent, yet nicest people you can ever meet/see. He would bleed in nearly every match and had many matches against terry funk and many others too. He's a true legend in hardcore/death match wreslting as well.

I said I'd do an all-women's card and, dammit, I am!

Lita (2002) vs. Maryse (2009)
Alexa Bliss vs. Trish Stratus (2002)
Mickie James vs. Molly Holly (2003)
Chyna (2001) vs. Beth Phoenix vs. Awesome Kong
Victoria (2004) vs. Paige
Jazz (2002) vs. Ember Moon
The Bella Twins vs. Billie Kay & Peyton Royce
Gail Kim vs. Asuka

Special Bikini Contest: Kelly Kelly (2008) vs. Torrie Wilson (2003) vs. Stacy Keibler (2003) vs. Sable (1999)

It doesn't exceed eight matches. The bikini contest isn't a match!

I'm glad I'm not the only one that liked Victoria.

She doesn't get enough credit for being a great wrestler with an awesome gimmick. Plus her finish is probably one of my favorites of all time.

Forgot to explain my Lita vs. Maryse main-event. Before Maryse came back to WWE, a fan asked her what it would take for her to come back. She said a million dollars and a Wrestlemania match against an opponent of her choosing. The fan suggested Trish Stratus and she said that she was always a fan of Lita and that's who she would pick. So, I've wanted to see that match ever since.

Mickie James vs. Ruby Riot
Jervis Cottonbelly vs. Sabu
Bray Wyatt & Hakushi & Kevin Sullivan & Papa Shango & UltraMantis Black vs. The Great Muta & Jushin Liger & Kane & Undertaker & Vampiro
