My late distant cousin, Outlaw Don Bass, hailed from Greasy Corner, Arkansas. Forgot about that one. |

Its HOT as heck out here in LA today.. I wouldn't mind some rain myself. Funny town names, I know there is some, I just cant think of any right now. But there is a "Butthole Road" out there some where. Me and my friends when ever given the chance to hack eah others Facebooks, we always set that as our background. Lol! Edit: How about this one. Theres a prison up North in Pleasant Valley. So the prison is called Pleasant Valley State Prison. Apparently it's a pretty hardcore prison too from what I've been told. Lol! |

My wife used to spend a lot of time in Paintsville in her youth because that was the closest town to where she lived with a wal mart. People would just drive around that wal mart parking lot while hanging out. |

My aunts husband is from a really small town too and he said allot of folks went to a town with the closest walmart and would hang out allot. I know in Georgetown, Kentucky they hang out allot at the local Krogers and come down to Lexington for the mall and walmart too. |

Kentucky seems pretty big on hanging out at Walmarts. My dad's family is from down there and God do we dread going down there. Thank God that seems to be done as we haven't been in years. I'm grateful we traded in the yearly Kentucky trip with yearly Las Vegas trips. Speaking of funny names, I believe there's a road in Kentucky called Polecat Knob. My aunt talks about it all the time. I don't even know if it's the real name of the road or if it's even a recognized road. My family lives in some very uncivilized locations down there. Some of them have houses so old that they don't even have indoor plumbing. Have I mentioned how much I hate going down there? Sheesh! |

Hey man allot of places in Kentucky have under 1000 people living there, actually most of the towns in Kentucky have only a few thousand or less people living in them. There are a few that are so small you close your eyes for like 10 seconds and your out of one town and in another. I can't say about western Kentucky but the 3 main cities here are luisville,lexington,owensboro/bowling green/frankfurt and every one flocks to these cities man. In lexington we have bars, clubs, bowling allys, roller skate places, wallmart, movie theaters and even a mall. I've seen a few bars in Georgetown and Versailles though. I think there are a few in Nicholasville too. But Wall mart has everything you need! so i guess that's why so many in small towns go there. The save-a-lot in georgetown near where my other aunt lives at, everyone knows every body there. It's so weired because they all joke with eachother and stuff but you'd never see anything like that in lexington we're just too big of a city i guess and all's georgetown really has job wise is the Toyota factory. |

Hey no indoor plumbing is only up in the mountains and real bad hicks! And believe it or not we do wear shoes here. I'm still surprised some people think folks from kentucky are all banjo playing barefoot incest hill billies. It's not our fault the only cities worth going to are lexington, louisville, owensboro, bowling green and if your a fan of wrestling than Pikeville and lawernceburg. It seems wally world is about the best thing most people have besides a krogers or if they like to hunt. It's not too bad here though. You just gotta get in the bigger cities is all. Even though lexington is surrounded by mountains and forests a not even a mile or two from the edge of town. |
