I'm a Sharknado fan, so I obviously enjoy some "so bad, it's good" things. Gimmicks and angles are the same. Lots of times, when asked to pick a favorite wrestler, I go for some low to midcard guy doing oddball things.

I have some favorites who are great gimmicks, but AWFUL wrestlers.

I felt that way about Enzo and Cass, and a lot of WCW stuff, but most of the guys I actually really liked were just super unpopular and generally considered to be bad wrestlers. Billy Gunn, Gene Snitsky, and Mike Knox spring to mind.

I love my midcard nonsense, but Billy Gunn was drizzling shit.

Mike Knox, on the other hand, was great.

It's a shame TNA is TNA, cause Knox had real potential with his shtick there too. He had more experience too, which just polished what was already a good worker.

Of all the words of pen and verse, the saddest are these: it might have been. Total Nonstop Action is a close second, though.

Oh well; at least we had Bloodbath McGrath.

I was always a fan of Gunn. Even during the time of the poison ivy incident. Actually met him, along with Bobby Roode and James Storm, at a TNA house show years ago. All three were very cool.
