The scene opens up in front of the commentators table where Jonathan Hitchen and Thomas Moore are sitting. The camera zooms in a bit before Jonathan begins to speak. JH: Ladies and gentlemen, until this point we have yet to hear from the participants in the tag team match in which Samael and Dez will take on the team of Torrie and Torrence. That is about to change however as standing by we have Toby Bostock along with Samael. The scene cuts to the backstage area of the arena in front of a blue TNT backdrop. Standing in front of that, just like Jonathan said, is Toby Bostock next to Samael. Samael is staring away from the camera seemingly into space and Toby looks into the camera and speaks. Toby: Thank you Jonathan. And thank you Samael for granting me the time to conduct this interview. As Jonathan just mentioned, you are scheduled to team up with Dez, the man you have had a few matches against and the man who defeated you to win the Openweight Championship, against the team of Torrie and Torrence. What are your thoughts on this match-up? Apparently Samael didn’t take Toby’s comments regarding his and Dez’s past too well, as the expression on his face is a picture of pure anger. Toby is very quick to notice this reaction and his expression quickly changes to utter fear as Samael stares directly at Toby, a stone cold look in his eyes and face as he speaks. Samael: I will be the first to admit that I have had to endure many losses on my record here in FIW. Sure, Dez has beaten me and he did take my title but that doesn’t have any bearing now. You see it isn’t Dez that I am going to be facing in the ring. As you just said it is going to be Torrie and Torrence that will be in the opposite corner, and to be quite honest I really don’t understand why that is. You see I’ve said it before, and here I am about to say it again; I have beaten Torrie time and time again! I have beaten Torrence when we were in Rising before. I have nothing more to prove against either of them. Hell, even Dez has nothing to prove against them because he defeated Torrie as well and it is highly unlikely that Torrence could ever get the better of him seeing as how she has Torrie as her mentor and leader. That to me is like the blind leading the blind, they’ll never get anywhere in FIW. Samael lets out a slight chuckle after that last sentence before he begins to speak again. Samael: Neither I nor Dez have anything to prove against those two but still I am going to make a proposition here and now. It’s quite obvious that if it were my choice I would sure as hell not choose Dez as my tag team partner for any match but since we’ve been thrown into this match side by side then I suggest we actually function as a team and finally be rid of the crap of FIW, Torrie and Torrence. I suggest we team together and once and for all get rid of the pestilence that exists in FIW so that not only can others take the spots that those two undeservingly are taking up but also to get rid of the people that are bringing down the quality of the TNT roster. With Torrie and Torrence finally gone from TNT, the show’s quality will have increased ten-fold. Toby: As you know, we have yet to hear from either of your opponents in this match. What do you have to say in regards to that? Samael: What the hell is there to say? Either they realize that they stand no chance against two former Openweight Champions and they have gotten out of this arena and gone home or they are simply over come with too much fear having to go up against said former champions. Either way I could not care less whether we hear from them or not. You see when it comes down to it, both Torrie and Torrence are all talk and neither of them has the ability to back up anything that they say. I on the other hand have done so on many occasions. Whether we hear from them or not, every word I speak now will be proven in that ring once the bell sounds. Toby: We have seen yourself and Dez team up once before to take on then Tag Team Champions, the Purists and Dez turned his back on you. Who’s to say he won’t do that this week in this tag match? Samael: The answer to that is simple. If memory serves me correctly Dez has gone up against Torrie just as much as I have. I’m sure Dez is just as tired of having to go against Torrie in any sort of match as I am so if he had any common sense he would think twice before thinking of turning on me if he wants to be able to get anywhere in FIW, if he wants to finally rise beyond the level of Torrie and Torrence he won’t turn on me and he will help me defeat them. With two former Openweight Champions standing side by side in the ring against two others who have never touched Championship gold the odds will be highly stacked in our favor. Neither of us needs the other, we have both proven that we can take them out separately but teaming together for this one match only will, without any shadow of a doubt, ensure that neither Torrie nor Torrence will ever see the inside of an FIW ring again, the only thing they will see is the white walls of the hospital room they are forced to stay in after the brutality that overpowers them. Toby: Samael, once again, thank you for allowing me to conduct this interview with you. Do you have any last words? Samael: I’ve laid out the challenge Dez. You’re a smart man, hell you turned your back on me just to gain yourself a shot at my title before so that is proof in itself. There is really nothing to be decided. All you have to do is team with me so we can finally be rid of Torrie and Torrence. It’s that simple. As for Torrie and Torrence, regardless of what decision Dez makes, your demise will come. Whether I have Dez on my side or not you will still taste defeat by my hand and the Death Angel will take you out! Samael stares into the camera for a moment, the shot zoomed in closely on his face showing the determination etched in it. He continues to stare into the camera before walking out of the shot. The camera zooms out and now goes back to showing Toby standing in front of the TNT backdrop as the scene slowly fades to black. |

But not for long, as the screen fades back onto a corridor backstage, where Toby is standing with Dez Bostock: Dez, a few moments ago Samael issued a proposition in your direction. What have you got to say about that? Dez: Hmmm, yes, a proposition. Samael, you are also a smart guy. One of things we have in common. Another thing, is yes, like you said, we are both tired of the crap that is filling TNT's card week in week out Bostock: So are you saying you accept Samael's proposition Dez pauses for a moment, before answering Toby's queston Dez: Yes. No-one else seems to want to take care of this crap, so Samael and I will have to do it. Sure, like you said, I turned my back on him once before, but, as Samael very correctly replied, it was cause I wanted a shot at his title. Now neither of us have titles, so there is nothing left to gain in abandoning tag team partners now. Torrie, Torrence, both Samael and I have beaten you both many times, so there may not be any point in you showing up on Tuesday. If you want to be publicly humiliated, however, and have it televised worldwide, then by all means, do try and come and fight us. Cause the sky is black, and I will play... And with that, Dez turns and heads out of the frame. Toby signals 'Cut' to the cameraman Fade |
