Our picture comes to life, giving us the comfortable viewing of a plain arena corridor. This particular one is part of the Freedom Hall in Louisville, Kentucky. Kennedy steps into the picture, jacket on and bag slung over her shoulder. As we've become accustom to, she has her cell phone up to her ear. I bet her wireless bill is expensive. But she appears to be in a good mood as she walks and talks, so I guess it's worth it. Kennedy: *on the phone* Really? That is so great. I can't wait to see you again. It's been a while since we've been able to catch up in person. So that'll be fun. She pauses, giving the person on the other end a chance to say what they've got to say to that. Kennedy: *on the phone* Alright, well I just got to the arena so I'll have to call you back later. Alright, bye. She flips the phone shut, dropping it into her coat pocket. ???: Finally. Kennedy spins around, coming face to face with the GM's sister Victoria Lee. Kennedy jumps back in surprise as Victoria literally has no reaction to Kennedy's shock. Victoria: So tell me, Kennedy. Do you think you're going to have a tag team partner this Tuesday? Kennedy finds herself unable to respond, still trying to adapt to the impromptu interview. Kennedy: How long have you been following? Victoria: Awhile. I was about to give up but then I didn't want Katie to find you first. If she'd put Teen Beat down long enough, that is. Question. Could you answer it? Kennedy: You know, polite people arrange an interview ahead of time. Victoria: Smart people don't need preparation for an interview. Shall I pencil you in? How much time do you need? Fifteen… let's make it thirty minutes. More? Kennedy glares at the snotty interviewer, who seems to enjoy her ability to piss Kennedy off. Kennedy: Okay, Miss I didn't need college because my little sister went. Victoria: I'll have you know, I have a degree in journalism. Kennedy: Must've skipped that whole chapter on people skills. Victoria: Hardee-har-har. I could really care less what people think of me. At the end of the day, I sleep just fine. Could we speed this up at all? Kennedy: If it'll get you gone, gladly. Victoria: Yeah-kay. Last we saw you, you delivered a message to your tag team partner, Silent Rage. He apparently has no interest in this match. While he seems intent on revenge against Jim, he doesn't seem to want to get it done in a tag team match. Kennedy: Tell me something I don't know. Victoria: I'm not here to tell you something you don't know. I'm here to get information that the people don't know. And that is, has Silent Rage contacted you after your ultimatum of get with it or get gone? Kennedy takes a breath in the way that says things are looking rather bleak from her standpoint. Kennedy: No. I haven't heard from Silent Rage at all. Victoria: Are you perhaps regretting giving him that ultimatum? I mean, had you not, he did say he was going to be there. After your harsh words towards him, he likely won't show now. Kennedy: Harsh words? That is totally unfair. I tried to talk to Rage. He was very hostile towards me. For some reason, he seems to think that he can drink his life away and pop pills left and right but because I'm not a suicidal case I'm the one in the wrong. Victoria: Do you snort coke? Kennedy gives Victoria a stern look that very plainly says no. Kennedy: When I start becoming an asshole like Silent Rage, then ask me if I've reached rock bottom. Victoria: You sound pretty anti-Rage lately. How long have you hated this guy? Kennedy: I've never hated Silent Rage. I've always respected him. He's been through it all and was still standing. He's lost that now. Always fighting, no matter what, was what made him a legend. Now… he just disgusts me. To give up so easily against Jim. Victoria: Well, Kennedy, he's going after Rage's family. Kennedy: Yeah, I think I remember someone by the name of Carlos Kane doing the exact same thing. Rage didn't take it from Hype, why from Jim? Victoria: Fair enough. Thoughts on Jim? He's one of your opponents this week. Kennedy: Jim and I have been through a fair share of problems. He used me to get to Maclay and ultimately get to the Dual Crown Championship. This Tuesday, I'm gonna show him why that was his biggest mistake. Because if I ever get a chance to take that title from him, I will. Victoria: Yeah, okay. That's what they all say. What about Carlos Kane? You fooled him last week, but this week the gloves are off. You're not gonna be able to use your feminine wiles to get ahead now. Do you think you stand a chance? Kennedy: I've beaten him before. Victoria: In a tag team match, yes. However, Hype does have a singles victory over you. A submission victory no less. In fact, Carlos Kane holds a submission victory over both you and Chris Maclay. His two opponents at Anarchy In The UK for a chance to face the Dual Crown Champion. Doesn't that worry you? Especially since odds are you won't have a tag partner this week. It's all true but Kennedy isn't happy about it. What does she do about it though? She glares at Victoria like she's making up lies. That's not very nice. Kennedy: Carlos and Jim just need to know one thing. Whether Rage is there or not, I'm not backing down. I know the odds are stacked against me right now, but I don't care. Will they beat me? Probably. Do I care? No. I've been beaten plenty of times. But check the score card. I don't stay down. Hell hath no fury, Victoria. Carlos and Jim need to keep that in mind. Wow, this RP really got bad fast. Best to end it. Yeah, Kennedy walks off after that somewhat cryptic warning. Just fade out. Ugh. |
