Thanks to:-

Lita for the Hellcat Trios and Cage match.
Bran for Mad Dawg vs. Quincy.
Billy for the Panopticon.
Steve for the UIC match.
Sid for the opener and Lucas vs. Nemesis
Marc for Schwartz vs. Cathy
Ryan for Roy vs. Doug [and the business afterwards]

And whoever put that quite fantastic hype package for Mark Cannon vs. Johnny Amazing. There were also some other segments on the show. Ta, Jim and Cookingood; and the people named above.

The Main Event will be along shortly; I believe Steve has work to do so that he can continue to own his house, and eat, etc. as will the FSC, as Will has had some personal business to deal with.

PS. I'm still making my way through it now. Early diagnosis: Excellent.

Marc has a good chunk of the ME done. I got like a page done plus entrances of it last night. I wouldn't imagine it would take too long to get it done. I've got Girl Scouts tonight for my youngest so if I have time I'll work on it some when I get home.

The FSC match will be done tonight as soon as I get home, which'll be after 4:00 PST. I've already got a bunch of ideas.

Dammit.

>_> Cannon/Amazing was better than Greater/Harlowe. I can see why their time got cut. XP

Good show from what has been put up, goooood stuff! Didn't expect some wins, and to see some guy's leave with the victory is a great boon for them!

I'm still reading the show right now in spurts but I just wanted to say the DC #1 Contendership match was a thing of beauty. Awesome stuff from Billy. I wasn't really expecting Nathaniel to last as long as he did in the match. I'd say he was written really well, too. I saw the card a little earlier so it'll be interesting to see what Dai and I can come up with based on all the working parts that seem to come together nicely for us in connection with the upcoming match.

It's rare someone comes out of one of my matches not looking awesome, even in loss.

Billy Walker as #1 Contender!? Never saw it coming!

Me neither. Not complaining at all, mind.

And yeah, the match was awesome. The important thing with a match like that is to have some thing to work with coming out of it; big things and little things, and I certainly feel like I got that.

Speaking of little things, unintentional shades of Daisuke Tanaka from Sakura in the Trios match: stumbling after hitting the LHK. Not complaining about that, either. Match was fun, told a story, liked it.

To be honest, amazed Lita had anything left, because I believe she wrote the Cage match first, which was fantastic. The Amazing/Cannon feud has been spectacular.

Okay. So, I am... overwhelmed by this event. So much happened, so many matches were epics, but everything seemed to fit right where it needed to. Marc is really going out on a strong note here.

Darian Gray Segment
Great stuff here. I really love the Darian Gray character so much and Matt writes him really well. He's such a great fresh face that is carving out a niche for himself in the company every time we get something from him. The confrontation with the Rougarou was fantastic. I can't wait to see where things go from here. Oh! Also, it was hilarious that Darian walks around in a suit before his matches. That is tremendous.

Triple Threat Match
Anthony Royal vs. Cody McGinnis vs. Darian Gray

It was kind of short, but it contained everything that it needed. Honestly, I think this length is PERFECT for weekly show results. There was enough action broken up with just the right amount of commentary without it going overboard. I would have been fine with any of these three winning this match because I am a huge fan Cody and Darian while I feel like Royal is just waiting to break out and show us all something great.

Quincy & Brittany Segment
This was supposed to be a prelude to a Quincy and Johnny segment but things kind of stalled over the weekend. It'll come soon so stay tuned.

Roy Harlowe vs. Douglas Greater
I feel bad that Johnny Amazing and Mark Cannon had to take time away from this match because it was really great. :P I think both Greater and Harlowe looked like superstars in this match and that's something that I've been dying to see from both of them. That ending with that monster hellcat was AMAZING! She looks awesome and I am dying to see her become a regular competitor. In fact, I would love to see more hellcats brought into the mix so we can get a real good group built up for a tournament to bring back the belt. Anyway! I've gone off topic. Great match and I was happy with the outcome. I've always been a bigger Greater fan than Maverick fan, but as Harlowe Roy has really turned me around these past few weeks.

I only have a slight nitpick about this match. About halfway through it goes from present tense to past tense. I would pick one and stick to it, preferably present tense as it reads as if we're watching it live. Past tense feels like I'm reading results of a show that I didn't pay for and can't watch live. :)

Hellcat Trios Match
Brittany, Bisenshi Sakura & Raine Cannon vs. Terri, Jade & Helena Handbasket

I had more fun writing this than I thought I would. Dai is right that I wrote the Cage Match before this. However, I was flooded with ideas for this right before I got started. I really loved writing the tension between Terri and Jade where Helena being more unsure of what to do about it all. I hope Erisa is happy with how Jade was portrayed and can use it to further her role in the fed. I apologize to Dai and Dan as I probably didn't pay enough attention to our characters in the match as I felt this match was a good way to try and get Jade and Helena more involved with the rest of the hellcat roster while I feel like our three characters (and Terri) already have established their positions within the forthcoming division.

I was surprised when I was told that Brittany would be getting the pin. Thanks to whoever judged and picked my character. I had the match flowing and ready for Sakura to get the win when I was told that she was going over Helena, so that's why it might feel a little disjointed with Brittany and Helena tagging back into the match. I didn't want the match to go on too long and I wasn't really sure how else to get them back into the ring as the legal girls.

Mad Dawg vs. Quincy Wilson
I feel like I missed SO MUCH of this feud. When I came back to FIW, Mad Dawg's presence was sparse at best. Marc gave me a rundown of what's happened between them, but it's just not the same as experiencing it and being on the ride with these characters. Because of that, I feel like the match was missing just a tiny bit for me. Other than that, though, I can tell there's a lot of heat between these characters and Bran captured that well in this match.

Falls Count Anywhere
Lucas Bergeron vs. Nemesis

This was a great match! Sid did an incredible job of writing this to be as vicious as it needed to be without going overboard. Lucas and Nemesis both looked fantastic in this and the draw ending had the right of amount of disappointment to make it unbelievable without pissing me off as a viewer. It made perfect sense and was built up to fantastically. Thumbs up from me on this.

Deep Six?
Is this a promo for a new character? Or an intro to the Panopticon? I'm confused.

Panopticon Match
Mungrel vs. Nathaniel Alexander vs. Billy Walker vs. Max Rowley vs. Silas Bergeron vs. Rurik Krychek

Holy crap! Amazing vs. Cannon should have been cut short for this match. Lol. Actually, it made perfect sense for this match to be as long as it is since so many people are involved and Billy really outdid himself to make everyone get a good showing. Nathaniel looked incredible! Thanks for making him look so good. I'm really enjoying his character and am glad that Nate is having a good time. I love RPing with him and the dynamic between Nathaniel and Kim is just starting to really grow and become a partnership that they've yet to really have thus far. Billy Walker winning was a shock to me as well. Personally, I was pulling Nathaniel and would have loved to see him leave with the contendership, but Billy's victory was written perfectly.

Undisputed International Championship Match
Bloodbath McGrath vs. Ethan Adams

I loved that this match went into Bloodbath's territory. It really helped establish him even more as a force to be reckoned with and as the Undisputed International Champion. Ethan looked good in this even though I knew he was going out due to Steve becoming the new fedhead. I'm disappointed that we're losing Ethan because I think he is a great character that could have been Dual Crown Champion once again. However, Steve helped to really set Bloodbath up as a future Dual Crown Champion with this match so I'm thankful for that. And I'm thankful that he included Kim at ringside. I love seeing her utilized.

Cage Match
Mark Cannon vs. Johnny Amazing

First off, thank you Dai for the positive feedback on the hype package for this match. I wrote the entire match and then while writing the Hellcat Trios I had the idea that there needed to be a "video package" before that Cage Match. It was actually quite a lot of work to dig up all that stuff. I can't believe we started things with Mark Cannon infiltrating the Amazing Duo all the way back in December. Dan and I did so much stuff and the creative team booked us incredibly well and I feel like all of that has been reflected in how the promo package came out leading into the match.

I also put some work into the entrances here to try and make them more than usual copy-paste entrances for the regular shows. I liked the pre-entrance shots of both guys (and thanks to Dan for letting me know what he wanted Mark to be doing before his entrance!) and I tried to originalize their individual entrances for the bigger crowd and of course the cage.

The match was so much fun to write. I started writing it before I even got results because I knew it was going to end with the two on top of the cage and all I would need to do is write who took the fall once I got the result. I hope Dan is happy with how I wrote Mark in this. I tried to get the perfect balance of vicious and tad cowardly with him just wanting to get out of the situation and pretend it doesn't exist anymore when Johnny refused to stay down for him. I felt like that was Mark in his current "god wannabe" gimmick. He's basically a petulant child that wants to sit on a throne and act like he controls everything. So as he failed to control the match, he just wanted it over. I hope that was in line with what Dan wanted from match.

I am ecstatic and extremely honored that Johnny was chosen to be the victor of this match. I truly would have been happy either way just because win or lose I feel like Dan and I worked our asses off to make this feud something special. I appreciate all of the feedback I've gotten from people and all the comments about this being the best built feud heading into the PPV. That was never my intention with the angle, I was just having fun reacting to everything that Dan threw out there so I'm glad that everything was so well received. I feel like both Johnny and Mark became stars through this feud and grew so much. I can't wait to move on from it only because I know Dan and I will continue to get to work together in a different way than fighting each other and that's very exciting for me.

In closing, I do apologize for being a bit of a baby over Mark losing the Fighting Spirit Championship. It's kind of hilarious that I was more bothered by it than Dan was! LOL Anyway, it would have been great to have it here in this match but honestly looking at it now, I agree that the match did not need it. I think at this point in time this feud would have done more for the belt than the belt would have done for the feud. The belt played its part well when it was there and I'm glad that Holland and Knight are able to use it to get a spot on this show.

Power vs. Career Match
James Schwartz vs. Catherine Neville

Marc always writes awesome matches and this was no exception. I can always follow perfectly what's happening. I was surprised to see Schwartz go out bloody, so that was a great decision by Marc. I think Marc and Jo did a great job of slowly advancing this angle to a point that when they finally got in the ring it wasn't silly. Also, Marc wrote Schwartz great in this match. He was like Vince McMahon in there against a trained wrestler and that's always great.

Great effort by everyone involved. I really think (even with two missing matches) that this felt like a big Wrestlemania event for us. Maybe it helps that it was a day after Wrestlemania, but still. I think every match felt like high stakes and nearly everything had a good story behind it leading to this night.

I look forward to seeing where the direction of the fed and characters go following this event and the new creative team in place. That's another thing that helped this feeling like a Wrestlemania event for us. It felt like we were closing the chapter on a lot of angles and hitting a reset button to freshen things up. I'm personally excited for some storyline stuff that's already been brewing for my characters through PMs recently. I think it's going to be tons of fun!

Deep Six was for the Panopticon. I was listening to it a couple weeks ago and thought "6 guys in the chamber, 6 is in the song title, Marilyn Manson is still kinda scary, the Panopticon would be scary to wrest in, what the hell. I have 4 minutes, I could make something little for it." If it were 2005 I probably would've made a full video package (it used to be one of my favorite things to write) but I thought thae link to the song and some lyrics would get people in the mood for the match.

I'd just like to be the first to virtually shake Kyle's hand and say it's been a damn honor working with him, and to see him get the win here, although bittersweet a little for myself, is still sweet none the less. I feel like DEATH is the LEGIT number one bad guy now, and he's had that steam building up for awhile. He deserves to rest at the top of the mountain. It was great being Dual Crown Champion, now I get to cook something up I think I'll really enjoy. The match was very very very VERY well written and made us both look like stars. Not even mad I lost. ^_^

And as for the switch from past tense to present tense in the GREATER match, that would probably be a bone head error on my part due to the fact I RP here which does things in the present tense, and another RPG I go to, where things are done past tense. x.x I was in a rush before work to get that match out, and I really screwed the pooch. My bad folks, sorry if it distracts from the match.

Main Event is now in...and with that my era as fedhead is officially over.

On one hand, I'm sad to see it end. I really enjoyed my time running the place and though some people might not have enjoyed some of the things, I think we still did a lot of good things in my time here. I think I've seen the biggest increase in returning members (big thanks to Bran on a few notable names) that I've seen here in a long time and the vast majority stuck around. I also really liked getting to know a lot of you more than I did when I was just a player, it was a pretty cool experience.

So on the other hand, it's a tremendous relief to let it go. There's a lot of sleep I'm going to enjoy getting back and it's going to be nice not feeling like I'm constantly chugging along every single week. There's quite a few things that I'm proud of in my time here and I think I've made some sort of positive impact. And the fact that I know that this place seems to be in good hands now definitely puts me at peace with letting it go.

I don't think I said anything publicly but thank you to those who sent me the kind words a few weeks ago. I thought it was really cool that there were quite a few who enjoyed what I put together. Also I want to thank Billy for being my second, you definitely helped me out of a ton of jams. And a thanks have to go to Seph, Kyle, and Jim for creative as well, my head would've probably exploded without you guys. Thanks to Bran on his recruiting efforts, you made this place feel like the place to be. And of course I have to give some love to Lita for all of the wonderful graphics over the past five to six months, you made this place look fuckin' official and you are truly a Goddess among men. ;)

::music starts to play::

Oh don't tell me I'm getting played off the stage. Alrighty, I'm going to jump on my horse to ride off on into the sunset. Haven't had a chance to read the show in full yet, but I'll give my thoughts tomorrow when i get the chance to.

Just gonna leave this here...didn't make it or anything to see where I placed or nothing...>_> Also, I combined people who had the same number of days in their reign so more people could make it into the top ten...not because I don't wanna be #9 >.> I MEAN JIM IS ON THE LIST PEOPLE! Let's make him feel loved!

Also made it because I don't believe records have anything like this.

[align=center]Top Ten Longest Reigning Dual Crown Champions

2. Christian Cruz & Kiyoshi Nakahata- 246 Days
3. Blink - 232 Days

Cool list, Seph.

What seems especially impressive about that is that three handlers are on that list twice with different characters.

I pity the foo who doesn't phone home. Jim doesn't get love because he clearly tripped and fell on the triple digit gate. What is it with him and failure? :P Ah, emoticons, the "not in the face or testicles" of the message boards.
Party on,
Joe.

He's also the one that broke the direct lineage of the Dual Crown by being the first, and so far only, one to vacate the belts.

Still pretty impressive for an efed this old, most around FIW's age have a top title that has vacate as a multi time champ.

I actually, in fact, have an Excel file with all sorts of information like that and was working on bringing it onto the board, but I'm still working on how to do it without it being a major dick in the ass to update.

Also, it's been an honor serving you, Marc. :P

Marc, it was a distinct pleasure of mine to work for you. You did a good job.

The Dual Crown match was incredible. The Cage match between Cannon and Amazing is hard to put into words how exciting and intense it was. My two favorite matches on the entire card bar none. The UIC was a war but I expected that, same with Nemesis and Lucas. I didn't expect the finish, though.

Thank you, Will! That means a lot that you would rank one of my matches up there as one of the best on the show.

I am going to try to read the FSC and DC matches when I get home from work. I will leave feedback on them because people put hard work into writing those and deserve feedback.

Feedback the show, people! It was one of the best of all time!

Great show... read it before... at work... can't get into details...

I'll echo that I didn't expect Walker to win... but hey it's Dai... Dai's a badass :P

Congratulations to winners, much thanks to the writers... and if you gotta go out as fed-head Marc at least you went out with a bang :P

Billy's a jerk.

I've been working on an app for someone for like a week... then suddenly yesterday I kinda randomly wrote out an app for some completely different character that probably won't ever be used! My brain is dumb :P

then again maybe I will post her app at some point ... as long as I figure out better time management :ph43r:
