Just gonna leave this here...didn't make it or anything to see where I placed or nothing...>_> Also, I combined people who had the same number of days in their reign so more people could make it into the top ten...not because I don't wanna be #9 >.> I MEAN JIM IS ON THE LIST PEOPLE! Let's make him feel loved!

Also made it because I don't believe records have anything like this.

Top Ten Longest Reigning Dual Crown Champions
1. Xtreme Kitten - 253 Days
2. Christian Cruz & Kiyoshi Nakahata- 246 Days
3. Blink - 232 Days
4. Mungrel - 191 Days
5. Keith Williams & Pyotr Sadovsky - 190 Days
6. Jenny Chennault - 176 Days
7. Neo Carner - 168 Days
8. Clay Krueger - 120 Days
9. Jim O'Brien - 99 Days
10. Grant Rice - 93 Days

Most interesting thing to me is the Mungrel, Blink and Neo Carner reigns were during my run. I know part of Blink's was just before but the bigger portion of the reign was after I started. So that's like three of the top ten runs and two 2-time champions, bit of history has been made in my time. Pretty fuckin' cool... B)

Bout to get on the show and check it out. I know the results of who wins but haven't actually seen the actual matches themselves.

Let's not forget you also broke two title length records under your reign Marc.

I mean, The Good Men and Neo Carner held onto the Tag Titles and UIC for a mighty long time, and those records will stand for a long time to come I imagine.

The Good Men also broke the most defenses with the tag titles record, a record which stood since the first tag team champions

Sorry for the delay in the feedback here. It took me quite a while to read through the entire show due to several IRL distractions. Anyway, here we go with feedback.

Cody/Royal/Darian

I enjoyed the pre-match segment with Darian Gray and the match itself. I'm a big Cody McGinnis fan so it sucks that he lost but at the same time I'm also a Darian Gray fan so I'm also glad he won. Lol. As Lita said, I like that it was a nice, short read and I agree it's a good length for the weekly shows.

Quincy/Brittany segment

I really enjoyed this segment. I love the fact that Brittany is so pure, she can't help but to see the good in everybody. Someone like that seems really easy to play off of as a heel, and in fact, it was fun in the brief moment I got to do that in an RP for the Cibernetico at Nensai Senjou. I'm looking forward to seeing where this goes.

Roy Harlowe vs. Douglas Greater

This was a great match and that finish with the blonde amazon-looking woman was just as great. I clicked the link to the pic after I finished reading the match so the whole time I had a different image in my head in mind. I can't think of the person I had in mind but I swear I've seen some movie (maybe it was a James Bond movie?) where there was some huge amazon-looking woman with a blonde Mohawk just as was described in this match. Unless I just made it up in my mind or something. Lol. Anyway, point is this match was awesome.

Eric Holland vs. Scott Knight

This match was awesome and it was really easy to visualize. I feel like a match like this is right up Holland's alley and both he and Knight made great use of the advantage that the dog collar provided for each of them. In that spot where Holland rolled onto all fours and started yelling at Knight to hit him, I saw a lot of similarities to what Bray Wyatt does in WWE when he does the spider walk, except in this case it was right side up and much more violent. Awesome stuff with this match and good to see Holland picked up the W.

Hellcat Trios Match

This was another match I really enjoyed reading. I liked the way Jade was portrayed being angry at Terri for basically trying to take over as the leader of the team and trying to boss Jade and Helena around. I can see what Lita was talking about in that there's a good chunk of the match involving Jade and Helena over everyone else but I don't think it took away from the other Hellcats involved in the match, though. I think Lita did a good job of representing all of them pretty equally. I think the finish came off well too; everything read smoothly and there didn't seem to be, at least to me, any place where it felt disjointed as Lita pointed out. Good stuff for sure!

Mad Dawg vs. Quincy Wilson

I remember reading in one of the earlier Doubleshot shows that there was some heat between Quincy and Mad Dawg in the past. Despite not exactly knowing any of the backstory to this match, I really enjoyed it. I felt it was well-paced, especially for a match that seems to have some hatred between the two competitors involved. Really fun to read this one.

Bergeron vs. Nemesis

I just have to say I really enjoyed the exchange between Lucas and Brittany & Johnny leading up to this match as well as Butch's point of view. Jim did a great job with those RP's, especially the one with Butch for Lucas. The one with Butch for Rougarou was awesome too, but I'll get to that in a second. This match was a great read and as has been said, Sid did a great job at making both Lucas and Nemesis look amazing in it. This was another one that I felt had a really quick pace to it just like the Quincy/Mad Dawg match did and it definitely worked for this match as well. I feel like when you have no-holds-barred and you have two guys like Lucas and Nemesis, a draw ending seems completely plausible as it happened here. I'm definitely looking forward to seeing where these two guys go from here.

Panopticon Match

Just like I said before, this thing was just amazing. It was beautiful and I forgot to mention this before, but just like Lita already said, HUGE thank you to Billy for making Nathaniel look great in this match. Like I had mentioned before, I didn't think Nathaniel was going to get as far as he did in that match. But yeah, he looked amazing in it and it definitely gave me some ideas for RP's especially given what the card setup is for this week's Doublehsot. Nathaniel was written perfectly in the sense of him trying psychologically pick Krychek apart in the early stages of the match and every move he made was spot on to what it should be. This was definitely an amazing match.

Bloodbath McGrath vs. Ethan Adams

You know what's funny, despite the fact that I knew Steve was taking over the reins around here and despite the fact that he also mentioned Ethan would likely be taken out of the bookings from here on, for some reason I still wasn't expecting the injury angle at the end of this match. Lol. No clue why but I was legitimately shocked when I read it. I really liked the fact that Ethan basically went out on a limb to try and prove a point and made this match a No-DQ match. I think Chip Martin said it right; "That big of a win over a name like Ethan Adams will only cement Bloodbath as one of the most dangerous Undisputed International Champions of all time!" I would definitely agree and it's going to be great to see where Adam takes Bloodbath from here forward.

Mark Cannon vs. Johnny Amazing

Holy hell this match was awesome! I really loved the way this entire feud took shape from the very beginning. Every step, to me, felt very organic and the way the story unfolded was exactly like it should have been. This might sound silly but to me it felt almost cinematic in a way. It started off with a slow build up where life is all normal and then things just kept building and the tensions kept mounting and then there was the Mark Cannon heel turn against Johnny with Brittany caught in the middle. This match felt like the perfect ending to it after a lengthy, tension-filled feud and it was the perfect blow off match. And just like every underdog story and every action movie, the good guy always wins and Johnny certainly earned the win in this match. Awesome stuff with this match.

James Schwartz vs. Catherine Neville

I agree that Marc wrote a great match and that it felt like we were watching Vince McMahon in this match, especially because Vince is a madman and would take crazy bumps and bloody himself in a lot of matches just for the sake of entertainment and for the sake of the feud. This was a really cool match and I loved how Chip Martin was flipping his lid almost the entire time and lost it when Schwartz lost the match. Overall awesome match.

Neo Carner vs Deacon DEATH

I was surprised to see Deacon DEATH take the win in this match. I was kinda expecting Neo to pull it out at the end. Awesome match regardless, though. This match reminded me a lot of the match between Cactus Jack and Randy Orton some years ago; specifically with the use of the barbed wire and stuff. Overall this was an awesome match from start to finish. It was very easy to follow along and it got bloody QUICK! Lol. It's going to be interesting to see what happens with Neo and DEATH after this match and I'm definitely looking forward to it.

Just gonna leave this here...didn't make it or anything to see where I placed or nothing...>_> Also, I combined people who had the same number of days in their reign so more people could make it into the top ten...not because I don't wanna be #9 >.> I MEAN JIM IS ON THE LIST PEOPLE! Let's make him feel loved!

Also made it because I don't believe records have anything like this.

Top Ten Longest Reigning Dual Crown Champions
1. Xtreme Kitten - 253 Days
2. Christian Cruz & Kiyoshi Nakahata- 246 Days
3. Blink - 232 Days
4. Mungrel - 191 Days
5. Keith Williams & Pyotr Sadovsky - 190 Days
6. Jenny Chennault - 176 Days
7. Neo Carner - 168 Days
8. Clay Krueger - 120 Days
9. Jim O'Brien - 99 Days
10. Grant Rice - 93 Days

You better be also including Jim's 2005 Dual Crown reigns. >. <

That was technically a different Dual Crown.

Including that incarnation of the Dual Crown would also involve including the old World Heavyweight Championship, which is sorta the point of the current Dual Crown is half of the old Dual Crown [the Global Heavyweight Championship] and the old World Heavyweight Championship.

It's not the same, but it's supposed to trace a line through the two previous top titles; so it's not exactly right to call it different either.

Definitely. I'm also going off the point that they're called the TNT Dual Crown and FIW Dual Crown respectively.

I guess, what we're saying Jim, is we can count it, but only half of it.

When I had the Dual Crown in 2005, it was not called the "TNT Dual Crown." The verbage that was used was the "FIW Dual Crown Championship" (I don't remember it being called the "TNT Dual Crown" at the time, at least).

I just don't care for Jim not being considered a three time Dual Crown Champion and his two reigns during the brand split being treated like they aren't as equal as when he had it in 2012. Put an asterisk next to "Three time Dual Crown Champion Jim O'Brien" and say "his first two reigns were during the Dual Crown's first incarnation," I'll live with that. But acting like his first two reigns never happened bothers me.

I don't know what to say. It feels amazing to finally achieve something I set out to do with Keith Williams once upon a time. And it feels even better to be at the top of the mountain as Dual Crown Champion again. I truly didn't know what to expect as far as an outcome with Seph and I's match. After the chokeslam backbreaker on the chair I marked out so much I didn't even care if I lost. It was a very well written match and totally did justice to the crazy match concept that we came up with. I really did try to put my best work out there. Shortly after our first match for the DC I came up with the idea of DEATH eating Neo's severed flesh he had collected months prior, but I stockpiled it for another DC match because I knew it was that out there and PPV worthy.

I really can't look back on 2014 and think of a circumstance or feud I didn't especially like, or feel like it didn't add to my character. From the second I came in I went from Jo/Lilith, to Seph/Neo, to Jim/Rougarou, and a mix of on again off again feuds that involved The Good Men, The Wilsons, and The Bad Girls. I look forward to having DEATH interact with more of the roster.

Rise of a Legend really came off as the Wrestlemania PPV of FIW. I hope to see it continue and build up more history. From top to bottom it was a packed card. The only thing that threw me off concerning the show was the change of color for the commentators to blue, to red, to blue.

I'm interested to see Steve's vision of FIW and what else 2015 has in store for us.

Please. Hunner would take my side. If anyone in WWE would complain about not ALL of their accomplishments being acknowledged every time their name is mentioned, it's Triple H. Pedigree for Seph, 'Harley Race' high knee for Dai and 20 Pedigrees and a Sledgehammer to the penis to Billy because he's history's greatest monster.

I know how I sound complaining, and I was pretty miserable every time I had the Dual Crown, but damn man, I'm proud of winning them.

XD I just made that comment because because no matter how many title reigns and how awesome they are here Jim. If Jim O'Brien went to WWE, HHH would bury him.

I don't think anyone was denying the existence of those reigns, unless I'm not understanding something.

Just more talking about stuff in terms of the current incarnation of the Dual Crown. Which those wouldn't fall under, they were the previous incarnation.

I'll stop derailing the thread from my little bitchfest and give props to Kyle. Kyle rocks, I'm proud of him, I'm glad for him and if anyone deserves to win the Dual Crown it's him. Deacon's one of my favorite characters and I feel like he hasn't even hit his prime yet. There's so many great matches on the horizon for DEATH that I'm really looking forward to.

Neo was tremendous as champion as well, props to Seph. I thought he was great as champion and I thought it really would've taken a hell of a guy to dethrone him and it was. I am curious to see if Neo will get a rematch, though.

What the hell, man? I was trying to agree with you. To be able to trace a line from the present day back to 2003 is something that should be acknowledged and celebrated. Disregarding stuff is not the intention at all. The naming issue is coming up because we need some way of differentiating between these similar but not identical concepts. This is the Dual Crown, that is the Dual Crown, and as long as we don't need to talk about them like they're separate things, which we might from time to time, they're still both the Dual Crown.

Do you have any better suggestions? Calling the current one the Modern Dual Crown might work.

Besides, if anything, it's the third reign which shouldn't count, because Jim O'Brien was shitting it from Billy Walker.

I'm also going off the point that they're called the TNT Dual Crown and FIW Dual Crown respectively.

Except... they weren't. It was never called the TNT Dual Crown until the GHC and WHC made a new Dual Crown. TNT never had "TNT" affixed to any of their titles. TNT was a show within FIW. All their belts were FIW belts.

Billy is right in that the title history uses those names. Blame Oni, I guess.

Dislike for ignoring my post. Sad face.

It wasn't about ignoring your post as it was the constant annoyance about the "TNT Dual Crown" that never existed. I hate when stuff are renamed in history. The current Dual Crown should have taken an original name if it was to be separate, not stole the name of another belt and forced it to be renamed.

It's separate, but also not separate. Similar, because it does incorporate the previous top titles, but still not quite the same. Retroactively calling the old one the TNT Dual Crown is clearly pissing people off, so it seems to me that we need to find some way of referring to them that reflects that they're both the Dual Crown but that they're not quite the same thing.

Which I said already.

No one's trying to say the "TNT" DC is any less important than the "current" DC is. I think the best simile is the "current" WWE World Title to the "Undisputed" WWE title of 01. They're of the same lineage, they were in their time and forever will be considered the big-shot title, but they're comprised of two different title combinations which serves to in some small, arbitrary way differentiate them. One is not lesser than the other, one did not have more meaning than the other.

At least that is my particular take on it.

Collateral damage, please excuse me.

If you want to call the brand extension era Dual Crown the first generation or first incarnation (or if you can get a smaller word that doesn't end in -tion but means the same thing) I can work with that.
