Whenever I get around to making the title stuff even more spiffier I'll try to find some manner of differentiating them differently.

Right now on the docket for that is figuring out who are triple crowns, Grand Slams, getting my "random fact" generator working in some manner, getting titles like the Extreme Chaos and them coded and put in.

--

Also, 'grats to Kyle. One thing no one can ever say is that it's easy to become DC here. That's evident by (usually) long reigns, and it always being a "holy crap, I didn't think I'd get here" even for someone that's been there before.

No one's trying to say the "TNT" DC is any less important than the "current" DC is.  I think the best simile is the "current" WWE World Title to the "Undisputed" WWE title of 01.  They're of the same lineage, they were in their time and forever will be considered the big-shot title, but they're comprised of two different title combinations which serves to in some small, arbitrary way differentiate them.  One is not lesser than the other, one did not have more meaning than the other.

At least that is my particular take on it.

The complaint isn't necessarily about which one is "more important" or what we can compare it to. WWE have its different incarnations different names, not by renaming the past but coming up with something new for the future.

It's not even a major issue. It's a minor nuisance that a belt some people were actually around for and remember by a certain name keep getting told that they're wrong and the belt has a new name. Just because someone (probably Oni) wanted to start a new title lineage fresh but didn't want to get creative to come up with something original we have to rewrite history? We might as well start striking things from FIW lore.

It's whatever. I'd rather people actually feedback the show than discuss this issue any longer. Nothing is going to change because we either continue to rename the real FIW Dual Crown Championship to the TNT Dual Crown Championship or we have to rename the current FIW Dual Crown Championship to something else. Either way we are renaming history and telling people to call something by something new.

Just give Neo back the title and he'll rename it the FIW King Of Crowns Championship.

I'm on board for another Neo run... but I'm still happy that Kyle has the belts now. Kyle deserves it and Seph deserved the legendary reign he had with Neo.

Ok, so that was one heck of a show. I'm sorry I'm late to the party but being a lurker, I don't feel the pressure to read the show in one shot on the night it was posted anymore. Congrats to Kyle! I am really torn on how to feel about that since Kyle and I go back a long ways to PWKoopa and fueding over the K-Krown, and I am really enjoying DEATH...but I love Neo so much lately. Ryan is ok, I guess but Neo Carner is great and it has been so much fun to see his rise.

Also a big shout out goes to the retainees from the event. Will and Adam did great. I know I've mentioned it before, but I really enjoy Bloodbath a lot and I would love the chance to pair him up against some of my more cowardly characters in the same way I loved pairing Johnny Sugar against Sadovsky.

All that being said, I don't think Asante will be making a return any time soon, for a couple of reasons. First, I don't know or see how he would fit in the drastically changed landscape of FIW. When he left, he was arguably a top dog around here, holding wins over the bigger names and having the opportunity of a lifetime at his disposal. Now half of the roster has never even interacted with him.

On top of that, I think we can all admit that my unreliability as a contributor should preclude me from moving up the card to that level. I am not so falsely humble as to say that I don't think I put out good work when paired with the right opponent - I know that I am capable of hanging in the upper-mid card or the odd main event with Aman, but I also know that I have a tendency to flake out and that isn't fair to anyone I may be working with or working toward something with.

Asante Aman is a character that doesn't really lend itself to being in the lower card, and so I think I may be best off planning to drag a perennial mid-carder out of storage or come up with someone new to help fill out the lower card. That way I can have fun without ruining anyone else's good time.

Finally, if anyone is still reading this, Amazing vs Cannon has been great. I don't think I've ever worked with either Lita or Cannon before but I'd really like to if the opportunity presents itself.

That is it, I guess.

Finally finished the show.

Fighting Spirit Championship
Erik Holland vs. Scott Knight

Great match. It was written clearly and viciously. I think commentator would have added a lot to this match to make it an extra great. Still, it was a good match and easy enough to follow. Sad that Knight lost because I've loved that character since the NGIW days, but I definitely didn't see Holland letting go of that belt so soon. Will's doing awesome with Holland right now.

Dual Crown Championship
Neo Carner vs. Deacon Death

This match was sick. A great way to transition the belts onto Deacon Death and Kyle definitely deserved to finally grab onto them. Seph has been a great champion with Neo for a longtime now and has had some of the best feuds for the belt lately (the feud with Mungrel was SO GOOD) but I'm anxious to see Championshipless Carner and how he reacts to not being champion anymore. I couldn't tell when the match switched from Steve or Marc or vice versa. Good job on this, guys!

Great card some of the matches were absolutely just gut-wrenching to read... The main event you know the work that Seph has done with Neo I applaud him what a run. Kyle congrats on the win!

As far as Quincy vs Mad Dawg
I'm sorry if I wasn't conveying the proper story I kind of fudged it up. Because when I started writing it I went into it thinking it would be the final match between Quincy and Mad Dawg and I later found out it wasn't the case so I think there was a disconnect but I tried to tell a story.

BTW Jim is a 3 time Champion!!!! #Congrats

Yeah but Mars. Asante can be the Unknown Evil to a majority of the roster. He can come in and try to pull the wool over their eyes that he's this religious humble man, but then he sticks the zealot knife their back and cashes in his Opportunity of A Lifetime.

:o DOO IT!

I mean...doesn't "Unknown Evil" just sound cool :P

Also, I understand that reference too.

>_> I'm pretty sure Marcus Helix appearing in Roy's promo last week makes him no longer stricken from the lore. xD

Okay, a post actually related to the thread.

I've only read my matches in full while only giving a glorified skim to the rest of the show (reading a show of this size on a phone isn't easy).

Want to give HUUUUUGE props to Sid for Lucas/Nemesis. LOVED it. I might be one of the only people here who enjoys reading their character getting the crap kicked out of them. :P It was really a fun read. Nemesis snapping Lucas' branding iron in two was the "Shit just got real" moment of the match for me, loved that (but to clarify, that wasn't Butch's branding iron... eh, in a week or two you'll know why that detail's important). Loved the finish too, I really wasn't sure what Sid was going to do, I just knew it was going to be a big spot through a table and I wasn't disappointed. Of course, I imagine a lot of people read it and said "Manhattan Project? Is that Lucas' finish? He loses so much, I didn't know he had one." ;) But the aftermath with the EMTs taking Lucas away and Butch running in concerned while the plague doctors dragged Nemesis away was great too. Just a very good read.

Panopticon... Holy Balls. Rougarou looked like GOD. I was really happy with how he was written, but then I started to think "I hope nobody's mad that a borderline part timer who got thrown in this match at the last second got put over like this." But there haven't been any complaints so far, so, that's a good thing. :) I probably should've let Billy know to write Butch to be a little more subdued after the beating Lucas took, but it works (Rougarou probably would've told Butch not to sell it, anyway). But I was really happy with how my guys were written. Congrats to Dai on Billy winning, I know he doesn't like these big, multi man matches all that much so it was good to see him win. IMO Billy F. Walker's one of the best characters in the fed, especially when he's engaged in something he can sink his teeth into so I'm excited to see how things play out.

I'll do my best to leave feedback for the rest of the show. I really want to read Johnny and Mark (my pitch for it to be a cage match was used! woot woot!), but with it being a longer match and most likely to be read on my phone it might take a little bit. Same goes for Deacon & Neo. But overall this whole show was a success and, maybe because it was on Wrestlemania weekend, it really did feel like FIW's Wrestlemania and I hope it'll be back next year.

Overall just a great couple weeks for the fed. The roleplay board was on fire, so much great stuff churned out by so many different people and I'm really excited to see where people go in the coming weeks.

No one leaves my matches not looking good!

I struggled for days with just the entry order on people. Usually I'm fine with legit making them random, but it seemed very easy to write myself into a corner with all the stories going on so I went for maximum story telling instead.

I just read that Ethan/Bloodbath UIC match and loved it! Thanks so much to Steve for putting Bloodbath over in such a brutal way. It's rare to have someone who's willing to sacrifice their own character for sake of a good story, so let me say that I appreciate it. Now... bring on Blink!
