OK everything is posted. I'm running on 3 hours of sleep so apologies if there are any mistakes. I'm going to nap and then I'll tackle more of this later. I will not be available the next 3 days as I will be chaperoning my daughter's 5th grade camp. I may have some (very little) phone access but I'm not going to be checking it frequently. Saturday is my daughter's birthday party so that day will be pretty limited too. Basically I'll have Sunday - Tuesday to do any prep I can for the show. Anyone that can help write this week would be greatly appreciated as I don't see myself having a whole lot of time.

Good show, solid matches. Bummed I lost every one I was in, but it's probably for the best. Mun has won that Dual Crown like 6 times now. He's becoming the Ric Flair of FIW. WE MUST STOP HIM! :P

Gonna have to decide where I'm gonna go with my characters these days, decide who's staying and who isn't.

Just some quick feedback off of skimming the show. This isn't about how the matches were written, one is though, just a few things I found.
-Personally, I'd like to have seen a little more time between Neo's and Catherine's eliminations.
-I was under the impression that Emily was supposed to be there for the BR, at least before the singles match. I don't know if it was something I was supposed to write in a generic sense (Because I didn't know who the final two were) or what as I was just asked if I still wanted it to happen. If it was my fault, then sorry.
-Maybe it's just me, but I think I need to start posting closer to the deadline. It seems everywhere I go that's the unwritten rule about how to win. *shrugs*

Sorry if these seem a little negative, but again it's based off a skim before work.

Party on,
Joe.

Roy's staying :P I like his story he's got going on, it's the best thing FIW has going for it.

Yeah, to be honest without the entrances, the grand introductions of each entrant, and how streamlined it was, I felt the match was solid, but lacking in grandiose presentation for it being the main event of Anarchy.

reading now... will update this post with random thoughts ...

the first match is filled with extra [ /color tags.

it's a bit distracting.

"jocking for position"

the term is Jockeying for position :P

minus those points... the first two matches are good... interested in where it goes with the double pin...

maybe I should read the show beforehand ... best of series... neat....

Well me adding notes as I went kinda went to crap after the best of series point...

I agree with what Wighty said below about the Hellcat match if he didn't change it on me to make me look like I'm crazy >_> <_<

But a very damn good show all around... congratulations to the winners and massive thanks to everyone who wrote.

Also I'm gonna post an official award nomination for the PPV period thing after I eat dinner... so get to thinking on nominations for your RP...

I mark for referee stoppage, and Bloodbath has a history of that shit.

I greatly enjoyed the manic pace of the FSC contenders match. Did not go quite how I thought it would. I'll also say I assumed our "family man" was Eversol.

... or Guile from Street Fighter. But Eversol was a close second.

I like how Jack Manson is having a hard time remembering Steel's name, but doesn't flake in the least at the idea of a Bouncy Castle Cage Match.

Good GOD that Hellcat match.

YAY! The main event. Somewhat overshadowed in length by the Hellcat match, but I really liked how it progressed and I'm really glad everyone had some time to shine.

What a fun PPV! I'm excited for all the fun things I get to work with in the coming weeks.

Not sure what the hell happened to make the tag appear. I don't know if someone tried changing the coding to match a format I was unaware of or if I made an odd mistake.

I just copied and pasted and that is how it came out. I've noticed that when posting that the tags get moved sometimes when posting like the board is trying to order them to a way it understands or something. It's pretty annoying. I didn't have time to go through and fix it all.

Some more thoughts. What there was for the main event was nice. Short variety, but variety between competitors was there. One thing though; going through a match and an announce table (even if he was the one making the move) and suddenly still able to kick someone in the head powerfully enough to put them away? DEATH is a lot of things but if we're going to talk about FIW being "real" then he's still just a man.

Speaking on DEATH though, is the Blink/DEATH match still going on? From what I recall last, Kyle was talking about putting Deacon on hold for a bit if he lost the title. At least that's the last I read, maybe it's changed since?

My views of the judging in the HDC remain the same, but I won't go into it here. I haven't read through the entire match but Pet's portion and thought it was a nice indication of how new she is to competitive anything. Can't stress enough how new she is to everything so seeing it portrayed in the match was appreciated. I am glad to see Terri having made it through the entire thing and a few eliminations after. Maybe I misread it, but she wasn't there to eliminate Momo, was she? I know she was still in the match but the commentators called the five going back at it and I kinda counted another five excluding her. I'll see more when I read her portions, obviously.

Sorry that has to be it for now. Getting set for work and playing with my apothecary jar. :P

Party on,
Joe.

What a show, man, what a fucking show. Steve definitely built up an awesome show. Everyone did a bang up job writing the show and on the boards (loved the concept of the prom but damn that thing turned into a monster real fast). Still in shock over both wins, especially the FSC Scramble, Best Out of Seven I see being extremely interesting going up against Havok.

Anyways Random Musings:

- Really enjoyed the Bourke promo. I can definitely tell she is going to shine in the Hellcats division.

- Coulter Crew Vs. Good Men...first question is when did Rollins become Krychek's poser? Always been so used to Maynard that I had to do a double take when I saw the picture on the card. Very good match but a bit of a bummer about Dai going MIA. Very good way to explain his status with a referee stoppage. Loved the post-match with Mad Dawg making the save and LOL'ed with the "No Homo" and the thirty-three point four mention. I did have plans for Mad Dawg still to be off for a couple more weeks to play off the shoulder and rib injuries but I can just have it that he's going against the doctor's orders.

- Shocked big time by the end of the FSC scramble. I honestly didn't think I did enough as he never actually promoed against anyone and instead everything from him was more story-based, so to get the nod to go to a draw with Havok was pretty awesome.

- FSC Title Match...holy shit that was a good match and huge congratulations to Bran on gaining the gold.

- Manson segment...looking forward to the Best of 7 Series with Havok and enjoyed that Manson was having trouble remembering that Dern had changed his name to Steel.

- Bergerons Vs. Random Task - Tough break for Random Task as the Bergeron Family continues on their usual tear. Is it safe to assume that Silas Bergeron may be one of the most unstoppable characters in FIW at least since I've been here?

- McGinnis Vs Nemesis - Speaking of unstoppable. Maybe not as much as Silas but Nemesis has definitely been proven had to defeat.

- Tag Team Championship - First, huge reminder that I've never given them music. I've got to find something for them, especially now. But holy shit, I didn't expect them to actually capture the titles. Had a blast working the program with Lita and Dan, even though it was a bummer Dan didn't get anything up for the PPV. Nice ending to the match too, I'm sure that's gonna have the rest of the Summit pissed off.

- Hellcat Battle Royal...Big congrats on Kim being the first Hellcats Champion since [insert year here...I just know it was before I ever arrived] I was a bit surprised with the win, not that I doubted Lita at all, just there was a shit ton of tough competition and it was a tossup between a number of girls. Going to be real interesting to see the kind of champion Kim makes. ;)

- Main Event - I can definitely admit it felt like the first two eliminations were out of nowhere but I still felt Neo and Catherine both got a bit of spotlight before they were eliminated. But congratulations to Mungrel making history as the first ever 3-time champion! Definitely gonna be interesting to see who can actually knock him off this time.

Again, another absolutely epic show!

-Coulters/Good Men was just a solid tag match. Shame that Dai has to disappear.

-Havok and James Dern getting the tie was sweet. I love how Dern has come from a jobber to a potential FSC contender. Really amazing stuff. And a name change! He's a real rassler now!

-FSC title match was fucking awesome. Bummed to hell that I lost because I loved being the FSC but you know, Bran earned it, so no troubles from me. That is probably the toughest division to hang onto the belt in. Probably why there have been 56 champions! Onto bigger and better things for Mister Holland. YOU can defend that damn thing every week Bran! LOL

-A bouncy cage match huh. This will be interesting.

-I'm such a mark for Silas Bergeron that it's shameful. Maybe because of all the Undertaker inspirations. Nonetheless it was a great showcase.

-Nemesis getting back on the right track is good, but sad that it had to come at the expense of Cody which is another favorite of mine.

-4R are the Tag champs! Holy crap. Tag division is lighting up for sure. Maybe something there since there is history between 4R and Erik Holland.

-Not at all surprised Lita won the Hellcats title. She'll be a great champion.

-And Mungrel makes history which is great because he's another favorite of mine. Three times the Dual Crown Champ! XK should be very proud.

If you haven't looked at the card write up for next week take a look. There is a bit in there about how we'll be determining the next contender to the Dual Crown for Summer of Sin. Part of that will be a leader board in which I will keep track of wins and marking people off when they are eliminated. If you have a character on the leader board you do not wish to have on the leader board please let me know via PM. This is open to all non-Hellcat division specific characters.

I'll definitely be leaving more detailed feedback tomorrow or so, but I wanted to give a quick big thanks to Billy for his work on the Coulter Crew vs Good Men match. First for the match as as whole and second for the way he wrote Alexander in the match. As always it was awesome and Billy did an excellent job in writing Alexander.

I'll be leaving more detailed feedback soon. I know I've said that before and failed, lol, but this time I'll be sure to do so.

First things first... congratulations to Mun but he didn't make history as the first-ever three-time Dual Crown Champion. A man by the name of Jim O'Brien did it first back in 2012. So, congratulations to Mun. You're in good company!

Now, onto PPV feedback...

Alexandrea Bourke Promo
Not what I was expecting. Her profile says she's like a super babyface but she shows up by basically trash talking the entire roster. I liked it, but it just clashes with what her profile seems to indicate that she is. I hope she continues this way because I'd love a character that pretends she's a super babyface but goes around acting like some know-it-all smart ass.

Coulter Crew vs. Good Men
Glad to see Coulter Crew win. I feel like this match was WAY too long given the fact that only half of the competitors roleplayed. I do love that McGrath and Alexander really gave it to Walker and Krychek, though. It made those two guys look awesome and I am thrilled at that because Adam and Nate are two fantastic RPers that have a real handle on who their characters are. I love working with them and love it even more when they're booked to look awesome.

The aftermath was... a little weird. For starters, I wasn't expecting Mad Dawg back. He looks awesome as hell but I sort of feel like that should have been saved for the first Supershow after the PPV. Would have had more impact for Mad Dawg, I think. Also... why is Mad Dawg coming to the aid of the Good Men? I get that he's after McGrath and he's pissed at Nathaniel for helping but... why save the Grand Prix for Krychek? That felt really out of place to me.

Roy Harlowe & Momo Cassius Segment
I love the comedic adventures of clueless Roy and jealousy Momo. Also, a Brittany mention! This was gold. :)

FSC Scramble
Steve, where the hell did you get the old Vs screen before Roy was added? I updated it.

I was... surprised by this match outcome. I'll be honest: I wasn't sure if H@VOK was right for the FSC division. My judging feedback was that H@VOK was one of the best but that I wasn't sure if he would be better suited in the UIC or potentially DC divisions. No complaints with him being the half winner. I praised the amount of effort Marc's been putting into turning Dern around and I love that I've been able to play a part in giving the character a reasonable excuse for a big makeover. I was perfectly content with him winner. So seeing H@VOK and Steel share the victory is A-OK in my book and I think this will be a great program for the two. I look forward to H@VOK and Kim's interactions throughout this. I get to work with Wight again!!!!

For the rest of the competitors... I was pulling for Shaun Wilson. I just worried about how consistent Tamarcus would be able to be. This cycle was a great coming back moment for Tamarcus, I feel. He was RPing like the Shaun Wilson that I know and love. I really hope to keep seeing it. Roy Harlowe was another that I really wanted to see win because I love the character and I think Seph is such a great writer. My only hold-up with Roy this cycle was that it felt like Seph was putting most of his effort into Neo as far as match-related content went. But I had the most fun with Seph RPing Roy and Brittany this cycle. So, I was also really biased towards Roy. Roland Chambers is such a great character and the handler is an incredible writer! I really hope to see more from him and I would love to interact with the character. You, sir, could go far in this fed. Rowley... oh Maxime. Why you also so late to the party? Why?! Eversol's stuff was so GOOD. I only worried that people might get annoyed they lost to a mystery man, but as I told Steve, with the RPs put up the opponents had everything they needed to know about him sans a name. I would have been fine with him winning this.

Match: The match was chaotic mess as it should have been! Everybody looked as good as they possibly could in the environment and that's really all that we can ask for. Sid does a great job condensing matches but still packing them full of action. I love that I can read these matches without devoting hours of my time sitting in front of the company.

Random Task Inc. Promo
What is a McBitch?

Fighting Spirit Title Match
Yay Quincy! I'm sorry to Will and Knight, but I was pulling for Quincy in this. Like Tamarcus, THIS cycle was the Quincy that I love. This was the Quincy that I've been wanting. Just the right amount of EVERYTHING from Quincy. I wanted so much more from Knight. He literally left me thirsty for more. I didn't like that. Holland was on par with what I expect from him. No complaints when it comes to Holland. Sick match. I can't remember who took this one, but they did a great job writing it! It was the perfect balance of hardcore ultraviolence and mainstream pro wrestling. Thumbs up from me.

Jack Manson Promo
Brilliant stuff. I love Best of Seven Series. Ethan Adams vs. Liam Mortell had one of the greatest ones of all time! I can't wait to see how this one goes with the insanity that is H@VOK and the Kim Coulter controlled Jimmy Steel.

Bergerons vs. Random Task Inc.
Lucas... oh Lucas, how I love you. He is so fancy and I love that song. :D Sorries to Jim about the Dean Ambrose pic I used for the Vs Screen. That's probably one Dean's I'm Too Sexy images that I don't think I'm supposed to use but it just fit so well with the Silas one. Also... Lucas is kind of sexy. :P

Sorries to Seph that I went with the Bergerons to win this one. I am such a mark for Lucas that I don't think I can pick anyone over him. Also, Jim wrote that awesometastic RP between the two brothers that legit needs to be RP of the Year. I will accept nothing less!

Cody vs. Nemesis
I wanted more from this. I really did. Nemesis took it like he deserved to do. He's a beast and I love that he's continuing to look like one. I'm slightly disappointed in this angle not living up to what I wanted from it. T, buddy, I love you. I think you're a great writer and the Cody character is one of my all-time favorites. But you're not giving us enough. Every cycle I feel like I'm dying for more Cody. I know you're capable of so much better and I wish I knew what was holding you back. Talk to me if you need any help with anything.

World Tag Team Title Match
I actually enjoyed writing this match. I didn't think I would because I've been so depressed over Dan needing to take a leave of absence from the fed. The Johnny/Mark friendship has been so much fun to RP and Mark Cannon has been one of my favorite characters since day one. I was gutted to learn that Dan needed a break. When I took the match I was expecting it to amount to much but had a lot of fun writing Johnny in this. I hope it didn't feel like the Johnny Amazing show. Sorries if it did.

Hellcats Gauntlet Battle Royal
So, things sure changed here. Originally Kim was meant to be a bit player in the division. I also told Steve that I didn't want Brittany to be the first woman to win the title. So, I kind of held back on Brittany this cycle. However, Kim has been SO MUCH FUN to RP alongside the rest of the Hellcats. I'm particularly loving the Kim/Mercedes rivalry and can't wait to see that come to an explosive finale. A lot of the feedback I got from people was very pro Kim and her involvement thus far, as well as feeling like she'd make a good heel champion. So, I changed my mind on her as a bit player and threw her name into the hat along with everyone else.

I was very happy with Steve picking Kim, Avila, and Mercedes as the final three in the match. I felt like Sid and Bleak put a lot out for those characters and I really gave it my all with Kim. The final with Kim and Avila, I feel, was very unexpected. I like that it came down to a singles match between two characters that weren't really considered favorites going into the match. Of course I was thrilled when Kim was chosen as the winner. I think she'll be a lot of fun to write as champion (and probably try harder to keep Mercedes out of contention than she will at actually trying to be a fighting champion, hehe).

I'm glad Jo enjoyed Pet's big moment in the match. I feel like you're still finding this character and that's OK. In the meantime, I love that she gets to be this mixture of comedy wrestler that is actually giving it her all and thinks she's doing good... until she realizes she's screwed up. It gives her an identity while she grows as a character and a wrestler. Siobhán came into the fed with a lot of steam, I gotta admit. She was definitely a dark horse as far as this battle royal was concerned. If there had been just a bit more between her early RP and her last minute RP she may have been the biggest threat to the title. No lie, she is the newbie that is getting TONS of positive feedback. I wanted more from Momo in RPs this week. She had some good comedy stuff with Dean Venchenzo but I don't feel like she had too much focus as a challenger for a title. Still, it was fun writing her as the monster of the battle royal. Mistress Lovecraft was my pick early on for champion, but much like Scott Knight this week she left me starving for more from her. She's far too good of a character to not give more than she did. There was a lot of negative feedback towards Terri. I'm not going to lie. People weren't impressed with her stories this week. Sometimes that's just how it goes. Jo is no stranger to that, not that I imagine that makes him feel any better. But better to hear it and know what to stay away from in the future.

Dual Crown Championship
This was tough to decide. I kind of wanted Mungrel to win because he is my favorite character out of the four in this. No slight against anyone else because I generally like all of these character roughly the same. Mungrel's just the one I think I've known the longest. He had just come to FIW when I had left. I would have preferred to see more from him earlier in the cycle. I was happy to see more from Death that I was expecting and earlier than I was expecting. For that reason, I was OK with a Death victory. I think the bad storylines with Terri bled a bit into Catherine this cycle, to be honest. Catherine had some good stuff and she had some not good stuff (like her own wife drugging her or whatever the heck that was). Seph put A LOT into Neo. I'm really not sure why Neo wasn't considered as the victor, to be honest. I wasn't privy to other judging outside of the Hellcat stuff I asked for and ONE person who gave me their thoughts on the entire show. :P

The FIW Prom
Thank you to everyone who participated in this! I was surprised at the outcome and even more surprised at some of the great stories that were told in the event! It's been ages (I feel) since we've had a company-wide event that had this kind of turn-out. For most of the cycle, I felt like I was back in the old FIW days when we used to do these every holiday.

Special props go to Seph and Jim for that joint RP the three of us did involving Roy, Brittany, and Lucas. I know Jim had been wanting to do that for so long and it felt good to finally get it out. And it came out better than expected, I think. Usually stuff you wait so long for suffers from not living up to what you've built in your head but this was the opposite. It was so much better than I thought we would pull off. I felt so horrible for Lucas. And I felt horrible for Roy! But I felt most horrible for Brittany being put in that situation. :P

Also, ETHAN ADAMS! He put Brittany in a horrible situation too. :( So many people went out of their way to make Brittany hurt them. You guys suck!

I just write a match until it's reached a natural conclusion. Plus at the time of writing I was still expecting to get an rp up, and by the time I realized I just had nothing in the tank for an RP I was already most of the way through it.

Mad Dawg wise--I had an idea that Mad Dawg made the save, and ran it by Steve. As for the Grand Prix thing--originally i was going to have one of Krychek's goons slip in and steal away with it because that part of the story has really rather ran its course, but I had no smooth way of inserting it so I added it to the Mad Dawg bit. I was hoping it'd come across as just one more way to stick it to the Crew (also, stick it to Krychek in a way even if most won't get the thirty-three point four reference at this point).

Rowley... oh Maxime. Why you also so late to the party? Why?!

I didn't bring it up because I don't like giving excuses for shit that's mostly my own fault... but I mentioned a while ago that I was losing weight for a new job.

The weigh in is this Thursday so I've been pretty focused on a last push... combined with the short work week last week and I completely lost track of time...

I had a lot more planned... including both Max and Sio showing up at the Prom.

But yeah... I'm dumb... :P
