Wow, no feedback yet? I read this on my lunch. Liked my match a whole lot, good stuff all around. Always glad to see the show up nice and early, and I also read the Pet promo! I can't say I really "get" Pet, but it was kinda funny. I liked reading it. Very self-aware. Next week seems interesting. Wonder how that will play out? |

Show was stellar, little nitpicks here and there, but I let the person responsible know, it's no big deal really. I liked the Darian/Ramsi match, it was very well written and told a good story. Do I wish it was longer? Sure, but I'd love the whole show to be longer too, but I can't complain when the show is on time. Hope everyone/anyone who cares to read Neo/Cage match enjoys it. I tried to tell a compelling story and build off both characters, sure they're mine, but I find people usually don't tend to care about matches when people are fighting themselves. Other stuff was interesting too, Havok/Steel feud has been fun read. Workin with Lita this week with Kim was an odd change, I'm used to her being sweet to me with Brittany, so it was fun to see her be mean to me xD hope people like Momo's limited promo skills. |

I was happy with Lucas & Anastasia's tag team debut.I really liked a lot of the ticks and nuances between Lucas and Ana (which, fyi match writers, "Anastasia" can be a finger-full to type at times so if you want to shorten it to "Ana" or "Grimm" that's fine too). I liked how Anastasia was pretty much overwhelmed by Tormenta's high flying, it's definitely something I can work off of in the future. I got a kick out of Lucas channelling his inner '90s All Japan' and going to Suplex Country and I gladly welcome Lucas getting the win with a signature move instead of his finisher. If I have any complaints, I would've liked to have seen Lucas focus more of his offense on Hardy and Anastasia's on Tormenta. I also feel kinda funny about Anastasia poking Luke in the eye before the match, and then them having a shoving match afterwards. I'm more than happy to read Luke and Ana arguing and bickering, but I'm not really comfortable with physicality, even if it's pretty tame. I know, I know, girls wrestle dudes and all. But I don't want to give the idea that eventually Luke and Ana are going to go Mega Powers and wrestle at Rise of a Legend or anything like that. Also, I just feel funny and a little uncomfortable reading when a male babyface puts his hands on a female outside of the confines of a match, even if it is just a shove. I'll make an effort to read the rest of the show and leave more thoughts later, but I thought I'd leave those thoughts really quick. |

I thought the tag with Jimmy was perfect. I loved how Tormenta had Anastasia completely off balance with her style. They have such a great contrast I'd love to see them in a few singles matches together. Sorry about the loss but it sets up the six-man, so I'm more hyped about that. |

I feel like I need to leave feedback because we have had SO MANY people stepping up to help write and I don't want them to get discouraged. Seriously, everyone who has been helping with the writing has been FANTASTIC and I really appreciate it. It's been great not having to write this week. To be perfectly honest, I'm just in a bit of a funk. Creatively drained, I suppose. RPing and writing has taken its toll and unfortunately I don't feel like I've been up to snuff lately. Thankfully I didn't have to write this past week but I really didn't put too much effort into my RPs either. The stars aligned though to give me victories (because Marc had a worse week than me apparently and no-showed with Gunther and also because Bleak was awesome in making me do something with Brittany) so that was pretty awesome. I'm hoping to get my act together for this next show because I really want to keep that damn Hellcats title and Seph has gotten his Momo on. Thanks. NOW you get inspired with her. *grumbles* But in all seriousness, thank you guys for writing. I really appreciate it and I did love everything that I read (both match-wise and RP-wise). It's fantastic stuff! |

I'm really really sorry. I have had a crazy week at work and as soon as I get home Im totally wiped out. I will say though that I love everything thats going on with Neo Carner. For all his gloating everything seems to be blowing up in his face. Darian's match was a good comeback and it's nice to see him back, I've generally really enjoyed the character. It was really simple, didn't reinvent the wheel and it didn't need to. The writer (forget who) has a really good grasp of writing simple matches based on psychology. Really surprised to see Pain get the win, but happy about it! Quincy's been ripping shit up since he beat me so I have to say I take no small amount of pride in watching him get upended. Cody's a generally terrific RPer so I think he deserved it. Glad Lita liked what I and the rest of the writers did. I know my match was a squash but I tried to make it fun. |

Sorry for the lack of feedback, it's been pretty hectic for me the past few weeks as well but by Saturday Lita and I decided to do two co-RPs which were really fun that got me excited for Eversol's future. The appearance of Kim in his match was a nice touch and I'm glad Eversol was able to get the win. I did read the whole show and it was all really good. I especially enjoyed the Kim and Momo segment. It's rare seeing Kim get humiliated like that and Momo came off really likable in the segment. I'm also really intrigued by the Darian character and the new direction Cody is going in with his transformation with Pain made it fun to write that match. |

ReVolt Welcome Back to FIW Tag Team Match The McConnaigh Brothers vs. Razorback & "X-Rated" Tommy Hale I'm glad to see the McConnaigh boys here in FIW, and glad I could contribute a little bit to them by giving Will the idea for the theme music. Lol. This was a good match and I thought it brought the McConnaigh's back in a good way by showing their strength and dominance over Hale and Razorback. Hellcat Singles Match Avila vs Alexandrea Bourke Wow, super quick win for Avila here. Not really a whole lot to say with this, considering the length. Singles Match Grudge Match Johnny Amazing vs Gunther Hoffman Hopefully both Lita and Marc liked what I did with Johnny and Gunther in this match. I tried to keep the story going of Johnny wanting to get his hands on Fourth Reich, if only through commentary if I wasn't successful in the action. It was super easy to write this match given the story involved with it and the fact that their individual styles were easy to nail down. Mixed Tag Team Match Anastasia Grimm & Lucas Bergeron vs Tormenta & Hardy 'Nother short, but good one. This part "Lucas wins, but she pokes him in the eyes and slips into the ring to lock up with Hardy." made me laugh out loud when I pictured it. Also, Lucas = Suplex County! That was awesome too. Lol. Good match from Sid! Pet Segment I'm not really sure what to make of Pet in this segment; either she's just saying things specifically to get on people's nerves (in this case Samantha) or she literally is telling the truth as she says she is. Singles Match Stephen J Eversol vs. Shaun Wilson It was cool to see Stephen get the win in this match. The fact that he and Nathaniel are both tied in the leader board adds a lot of fuel to the fire in the confrontations between them. Hopefully we can make them work and they'll lead to something with a big payoff. Main Event Singles Match Neo Carner vs Cage Murdock This was an awesome match to close out the first part of the show, and I like the use of the fast count with Lester. It should be interesting to see where things go from here with the Lester storyline. Fallout Kim Coulter/Momo Cassius Segment Lita had asked me if she could have Alexander accompany Kim in this segment and I think it worked well having him there. Is Kim trying to say having Nathaniel in there against Momo would be fair because Momo is manly, or because Nathaniel isn't??? Lol. This was a really cool segment, the ice cream bit was a nice touch and the last one-liner made it funnier. Good stuff from Lita and Seph!Welcome Back to FIW Match Singles Match "The Portrait" Darian Gray vs. Ramsi Greene As I said about Johnny/Gunther, hopefully Seph enjoyed this match. He gave me the idea for the finish so I included that in there. I think that finish worked out really well to get Darian over a bit more. Terri Golde Segment Now after having seen Jo add the enforcer characters to the sign-up sheet, it's clear who they're going to be. Lol. Still, I thought this was a good way to introduce them into the fold. Singles Match Pain vs Quincy Wilson Yet another nice, short match with this one. I thought it was interesting to see the metamorphosis from Cody into Pain. Here's hoping he can do more with it and really push that change of attitude, as the commentary in this match pointed out. Hellcat Tag Team Match Brittany & Mercedes Blackwell vs. Helena Handbasket & Siobhán O’Reilly I enjoyed the interaction between Brittany and Mercedes for this match. Bleak has been doing a really good job of putting us in Mercedes' head and letting us know that her main goal now is to get at Kim. This was a really good match that gave both sides more than enough time to shine. The pervy commentary from Chip was awesome too. FIW Fighting Spirit Championship #1 Contendership Best of Seven Series – Cage Match H@VOK (2) vs “Immaculate” Jimmy Steel (1) This feud has been fun to see and this match was equally as fun to read. The finish with Havok hitting the Dancing Mad at the top of the cage was a great spot. It'll be interesting to see if Jimmy can bounce back now from a 3 to 1 deficit. One more match and Havok takes the entire series! Definitely looking forward to seeing how this feud continues from here. Singles Match Nathaniel Alexander vs Maxime Rowley I had fun writing the RP with Lita between Nathaniel and Kim for this match. I figured since each week, Kim had something negative to say about Nathaniel's attitude, even despite winning the week before, it would be fun to use that and he could challenge her to say something more. The match itself was short, but it makes sense considering there was only the one RP from me for it. Glad Nathaniel was able to pick up the win, and I think he'll definitely have something to say about it after… Main Event Singles Match Mungrel vs Bloodbath McGrath …this match! Lol. Bloodbath made a huge statement with the win over Mungrel in this one. This was a really well-written match and it was a lot of fun to read. I thought it was cool the way Kim got involved and helped Bloodbath without even doing anything other than hopping up on the apron. That shows her power. Lol. This was a really good match and I think it opens up a lot of opportunities for stories to come from it. |

Sorry I haven't been on much the past couple days so I'm just now getting to read the show in full detail. Really enjoyed the show, bummed at myself that I wasn't able to get a Mad Dawg segment out or try to work an appearance in the Bloodbath match with the show being in Columbus for the first time in forever. Super McConnaigh-o Bros. Vs. J.O.B. Squad Ver. 2.0 - McConnaighs of course getting the win but it's great to see the McConnaighs back in action. Avila Vs. Bourke - Shame that Alexandria has faded into the abyss as the character gimmick was pretty interesting but interested in seeing where Avila goes from here. Amazing Vs. Hoffman - Apologies again to Lita for not getting anything up. I wanna thank Nate for not making me tank for it with a good competitive match. Grimm & Lucas Vs. Tormenta & Hardy - Poor Tormenta getting paired with (not-Matt or Jeff) Hardy. Fun quick match with Grimm & Lucas gaining the victory in Suplex County. Pet & Samantha - Poor Samantha, you think she'd just give up. It could be worse, it could have been Jim Harbaugh she was trying to interview. Shaun Wilson Vs. Eversol - Good match with Eversol coming out on top. Liked seeing Kim appearing towards the end and applauding Eversol. Carner Vs. Murdock - Very big surprise with the referee on the take to help cage get the win. Intense all the way through and a bit shocked Neo lost to (They Also Call Him) Cage. Kim/Momo - Kim is just gold with a mic in her hand and seeing her get egg..er..ice cream in her face was classic. Darian Vs. Ramsi - Nice return match for Darian and love his weapon-of-choice. I don't know, I always find it awesome when a character has their own personal weapon. Off-topic somewhat but it does make me wonder why the hell Tyler Breeze never uses the Selfie stick as a weapon. Terri/Victoria - And this is the reason Terri may actually start becoming my favorite (former) Bad Girl. I have to say I like the way the whole disbanding angle is going, it's definitely probably one of the most interesting angles I've ever seen the Bad Girls in. Quincy Wilson Vs. Pain - Definitely glad to see the Pain character finally breaking out. Tough break for Quincy this week especially since he could use the momentum with him going into RATC. Hellcats Tag - Commentary was entertaining with Chip constantly throwing in a dirty response. Brittany and Mercedes definitely flow well together I think. Havok Vs. Steel Game 4 - Yeah so it's not looking too good for Ol' Jimmy Steel with him going down three to one. Very nice ending to this one with the top of the cage spot and now Jimmy faces certain elimination. Alexander Vs. Rowley - ALexander is looking to be the favorite on the leaderboard and with good reason with his work as of late. Mungrel Vs. McGrath - Shocker of the cinch with the UIC going over the Dual Crown Champ. Very good main event and the ending proving just how valuable Kim really is. Once again wish I had Mad Dawg show up at the end as I feel like I've fell off the rails a bit with the Dawg/McGrath storyline. |

Looks like Nate's got some company .
What would be worse him or Belichick? As a Niner fan, I miss Harbaugh already.
Cause Breeze is gorgeous? In all seriousness, he should use it as a weapon at some point. He could say he's beating them with an uggo stick. |

Yay! I'm glad people are liking the Pet segments with Samantha. Like I mentioned before, Pet is the type that can either get really annoying or the other thing. I'm glad people aren't rolling their eyes yet with her. I really enjoy writing the Samantha/Pet segments because I like the idea of a young interviewer who has her ties with the former GM and therefore wants to actually look like she's doing her job being dead set on getting something from Pet. But...no more. Or is it? Dun, dun, dunnn. ![]() I'll admit, the Terri/Victoria segment didn't come out as I had hoped but it set the stage for things to come in a way people can follow along with. I'm happy with that. To be honest, Brittany about to end her friendship with Catherine was something of a catalyst in splitting the Bad Girls, but after giving it some thought I figured this would be the best thing to help push the girls on their own. Well, push Terri on her own as Catherine and Blink may never fully separate. But I kinda like where they are; Catherine and Blink essentially having to start over and Terri in super paranoid mode. We'll see what comes from it. ![]() Party on, Joe. ~eat snacky smores~ |

Yeah not sure who would be more of a trainwreck interview. I do know the interview Harbaugh had with Colin Cowherd was just sad. It was just like six minutes of complete awkwardness. I would say as a Niners fan I'd miss him, he was the best coach they had since Mariucci and I'm scared to death of the future of the team. But unfortunately being a Buckeye I won't get to miss him because I'm gonna be seeing him at the end of every regular season. And I have a feeling he will be a threat in the next two years. |

I haven't seen the Cowherd interview but I mostly can't stand him. It's such an unknown time as a Niners fan. It might not be too bad if it were just the coaching change but having two linebackers and a lineman suddenly decide to retire, losing Gore, losing Crabtree and most of our defense, especially the secondary so depleted it's hard to say we're going to be any good. Thankfully we still have Kap, Boldin and Davis but I'm very worried right now. Well, if Harbaugh's track record is any indication, he won't stick around in Michigan very long. Four years seems to be the max that he ever stays anywhere and I've already read negative things about people saying he works the players too hard but the man does have success everywhere he goes. He just can't seem to actually get over the hump and win a championship. |
