Just in case anyone got a look at the card already....I did have to make a change because I was reminded of a match that was supposed to happen.

I am honestly amazed that all three of my characters won their matches. Seriously.

I did not expect Johnny to win the battle royal. That blew my mind! There was so much tough competition in that battle royal. My money was on Mad Dawg or Darian with potential for Catherine or Shaun to grab it. Thanks to whoever picked Johnny to win. I appreciate it. :)

It's awesome that Brittany beat Terri. I had my doubts that she'd be able to pull this victory out. I've really been focusing on making her just a fun character that is doing her best to balance the world of pro wrestling with trying to have a normal life and be happy in both of them! It's tough work, as I'm sure we all know since it's so easy for our characters to get worked up.

Seph scared me this week (and the past couple of weeks!) by the effort he was putting in for Momo. She's really shown up as the beast cat that she is in the division and I was certain that Kim was going to lose her Hellcats title in her first defense. I did my best to just play Kim as the mouthy snob that she is and I'm glad to see people enjoyed it! Or at least someone enjoyed it enough to pick her to win! I hope people were at least a little surprised by the swerve of Kim recruiting Eversol just in time to use him to keep her belt. I was hoping she'd get picked as the winner so I could use that ending idea!

I'm even more amazed that it's been two weeks in a row that I didn't have write a match! That is so freakin' awesome and I can't thank all of our writers enough! This week ended up turning into a disaster Monday after state surveyors walked into our building Monday at 3:30PM, effectively ruining Monday evening and all day today for me. I never would have been able to finish a match this week so that worked out fantastically that I didn't have to take one!

So I want to shout out another thank you to Bleak, Nate, and Bran for picking up matches for us! And of course thanks to Seph and Sid who have been non-stop awesome for months now!

I'm sitting here boiling at the fact that I had a bunch of great feedback up, and then my computer locked up. Grr! :(

Bran, terrific job on the FSC match. Wish I could put out a better RP, but working all weekend does that to you. Thank you for making Erik look good in defeat, in a situation he wasn't comfortable in AND refusing to tap out. That was a strong finish that made both guys look good. Excellent work.

Other Steve, I LOVED the Six Man. That was crazy. Been awhile since I've gotten to do that. Another big win for the brothers and Tormenta's back on track so it's all roses.

Johnny winning the Battle Royal is awesome, though I'm sad since Erik is now out of the running for the DC. Oh wells.

Everybody else did a stellar job with the matches and segments, I especially loved all the chicanery the Coulter Crew got up to. Since they're prospective opponents for Finn and Owen I've been paying special attention.

Good show, glad Neo won or I'd have walked out of that one empty handed. Really was pulling for Momo, but I could only get so much out in her voice. She's one of my hardest characters to write for because I have to change stuff as I'm writing it so it sounds dumber. May have hurt me, who knows.

Hope everyone liked Neo's match and his run in with Jack Manson. Time to turn the key on that feud.

I was really happy to see Johnny Amazing pull out the victory in the battle royal. Lita has been bringing out the best in that character lately and it's cool to see him getting wins now. I like the character a lot.

The inter-gender tag match was a big challenge for me as I'm barely getting back into the swing or writing matches again so I hope I did all of the competitors justice and I'm glad that Will enjoyed it. I enjoyed writing it but I'm sure I can get better with time in writing tag matches.

I was elated that Mercedes was able to make an appearance in the match with Terri and Brittany and liked the inclusion of Pet making the save as well. That match was a ton of fun to write and I'm looking forward to Mercedes in the ME this coming week. I'm really pleasantly surprised to see both of my characters in the ME and having them tag together is even cooler.

The segment with Bloodbath and Alexander beating the hell out of Nemesis was really cool to see and it's really intriguing to see where this is going to go now too. Alexander is now on a mission to piss everyone off, I suppose.

Just like Lita, I'm hoping everyone was at least a little surprised and intrigued to see Eversol joining up with Kim. The RP Lita and I did this week was one of my favorites and I'm really happy to see how it's all unfolding. I was glad to have him involved in the match to keep the title on Kim, though Seph and Lita also did a great job with Momo and Kim in their RP as well and having to make the call on who won must've been tough.

I really like the RP that Wight did as it gave me a lot to build on for Eversol and him pretty much expecting to go out there alone. It made perfect sense why Havok would flat out refuse to go to ring side and it also helps to add to the idea that Eversol is struggling with his decision still and paying for it. It also builds Alexander as bigger heel and Jimmy gets to be built up as his wingman, so to speak.

Bloodbath is gaining a lot of traction as well too and I'm liking Adam's RPs for him. Good job to Sid on the ME.

All in all, this was a really good show and I had a ton of fun RPing this week. Great show to all of the writers and everyone who RPd. I thought the week would be slow cause of the 4th but everyone really stepped up their game this week so that was great to see.

I was happy with the Bergerons & Ana/McConnaighs & Tormenta match. Lots of action and everybody got equal spotlight IMO. One spot that threw me off was reading Lucas trying to Powerbomb Finn, what with Finn being 7 feet tall and 400 pounds. But then I figured, "Well, Lucas is pilled out of his mind, he'd probably try it." :P Thank you Bleak for picking the match up, you did a very good job.

Anyway, I do have some bad news. Rather than start a new thread and get embarrassingly melodramatic like I did last January, I'll just leave a quick statement here and if anybody wants more details, they can PM me. But next week will be my last week on the active roster. I have to take a leave of absence from the fed and I don't know when I'll be able to come back. For lack of a better term, a lot of shit has gotten real in my personal life. I've got a lot of fires I've got to try to put out and my focus just isn't here right now.

Now I could write a lengthy, tear jerking, name dropping resignation letter, but the truth is I'm not retiring or quitting. As long as FIW is open, I'm going to come crawling back eventually. But I will say I have greatly enjoyed the past 14 months working with so many people in many different capacities (I'm not going to name drop because I know I'll leave somebody out, so you know who you are). This run with the Bergerons definitely cleaned out the bad taste I had in my mouth when I left in April 2013, and I proved to my most vocal critic (myself) that I'm not a one trick pony after all. So thank you to my bosses who have worked with me in the way my characters have been booked, thank you to the match writers who wrote my characters so well, and thank you to everyone else in between for every 'Like', for taking the time to write feedback and contributing to the warm and welcoming community we have here.

Sad to see you go, Jim.

Thank you for paying attention to Havok not participating in a match. I can't tell you how many times I've had that strategy and people are just like "meh, whatever. I'm writing him in. Fuck Wight."

Or... something less scathing, I'm sure.

Anyhow, I really like how it all played out, and I thought there was a LOT of awesome back-and-forth between the former Blue Label Society members, so kudos to ya both.

I didn't mind Catherine losing out the Battle Royal but...Blink? I know Steve and I discussed it in PM form but when she was never added to the card I assumed that the idea was just dropped. So I don't know if I should be upset or what over that.

Maybe this is my fault, but I thought the Terri/Brittany match would end with a DQ due to interference from Samantha and Honey with Pet and Mercedes coming down to even the odds after thus assigning a six-woman tag for the next show. Match was fine overall, except with Samantha doing things without signs of hesitance, but, um, yeah.

I suppose in the end this show is my Watch_Dogs, in that I had expectations and maybe it was my fault, if so I apologize, but none of them came out.

Party on,
Joe.

Blink not making it on the card was totally my fault. It was a hectic week and I've been seriously sleep deprived because of work and the holiday causing a back up at work. I thought because we had discussed it that you'd be ok with it. Also it didn't feel like you wanted Blink to be part of all of it because you had asked about her giving up her point to Catherine. I had her take her elimination to Catherine thus if she had won then she would have taken the point but the judging of the match didn't align the stars on that. Sorry for the confusion.

It sucks to see you go, Jim. But it's good to know you'll find your way back here once things clear up for you in your life. Hope to get to work with ya when ya do come back, man.

Man, Sid was a madman this week writing 4 matches (not the least of which was a battle royal no less) AND a segment involving Nathaniel, Jimmy and Kim. This was definitely a great show and I can't wait to see where things go from here. But, with that said, on to the feedback:

Leaderboard Battle Royal
I'm glad to see Johnny winning this and getting back in the hunt for the DC contendership. I feel like things have really started to pick up for Johnny again. Lita has been putting a lot of work in the RP's for him and it seems it's slowly starting to pay off. As I've said many, many, MANY times before, I'm a big fan of Johnny's so it's cool to see him back on the rise in some way. Aside from that, this had to be a tough one to write given all the participants and giving them enough time. Great job from Sid with this match, I thought it was awesome.

Pet Segment
I think I'd be skeptical of Pet just like Samantha was in this segment. Lol. After the last time when Pet was messing with Samantha saying she had amnesia, it's hard not to wonder if she's ALWAYS gonna be like that or not. Last time, I'd mentioned that it was tough to determine if Pet was actually being genuine or just trying to be annoying and I like how that continues in this segment too. Pet having to remind herself to be nice was a nice touch as well.

Neo Carner vs Lester “The Ref” Riggs
I liked the promo that Neo cut before the match; it was a great way for him to get some heel heat before getting into the match. Showing Lester's desperation to try and finish the match early was good too. Overall, this match was a fun read. It'll be interesting to see where the story goes from here.

The McConnaigh Brothers & Tormenta vs The Bergerons & Anastasia Grimm
I can imagine how difficult it was to write this tag match. I feel like I would have botched it, so I didn't take it. Lol. Great match from The Other Steve, though. I agree with what people have said so far; each competitor had enough time to shine and it didn't look lopsided at all; which is not always easy to do. Great job on that.

Quincy Wilson vs Erik Holland
Like Will said, this was a really good match from Bran. I also liked how Holland still looked good despite losing to Quincy in it. Both guys showed a lot of strength and I liked how Holland refused to give up, but instead passed out to the choke hold. It felt a lot like the Bret Hart/Stone Cold match in a way with that finish. Awesome stuff and I'm definitely looking forward to seeing where both guys go from here.

Brittany vs Terri Golde
This match started off very quickly with big moves right from the start, which is a good thing, I think. The match itself had a good length to it and it was pretty even all the way through as well. It was cool seeing Mercedes come and help Brittany as well. I like the interaction between Mercedes and Brittany; Lita and Bleak have been doing a great job with them individually and with the random conversations they have with one another. I think it's cool how Steve V2 has two characters who are basically trying to find their way and trying to find allies and one goes in a positive direction while the other (Eversol) goes in the complete opposite direction. I like that dichotomy.

Pain vs Nemesis/Aftermath Segment
This was a great match to start with and then the aftermath involving Alexander and Steel beating up on Nemesis was awesome as well. Sid approached me with the idea and I thought it was awesome. Now Nathaniel not only has to worry about the repercussions with Nemesis but also make sure his back isn't turned with Eversol too. But whatever happens is all his problem anyway. Lol. Anyway, good stuff here from Sid. Also, "Carbon Connection" is an awesome name for the combination of Jimmy Steel and Nathaniel Alexander. And Blood Diamond is awesome for Bloodbath and Nathaniel too. We're the FIW's version of New Day when they named each pairing they had. :P

Nathaniel Alexander & Jimmy Steel vs Stephen J Eversol & H@VOK
I love that Nathaniel was portrayed as an evil heel in this match. Forcing Jimmy into the match and blatantly disregarding the referee to continue to beat down on Eversol along with Jimmy was awesome. Not only was he messing with the crowd, but playing nice with Steel was a great addition too. Awesome stuff from Sid with this match. RP'ing against The Other Steve for this match was a lot of fun too.

Kim Coulter © vs Momo Cassius
Hopefully Lita and Seph enjoyed what I wrote for this match. The finish was Lita's idea, as she said. There was also the idea to have Bloodbath and Nathaniel interfering in the match. I hope I didn't go overboard with that part. I wanted to use it sparingly but enough to get the heel side over a bit more. But I couldn't diminish Momo in the process, so I had her beat up on Alexander and Bloodbath a little bit. Hope Adam doesn't mind that either.

Mungrel © vs Bloodbath McGrath
Yet another great match from Sid. This was a nice, short read and I like the fact that it painted Bloodbath as the monster that he always was. Having the DQ finish was a perfect way to put that aspect of his character over a lot. I'm definitely looking forward to seeing what happens with Bloodbath from here.

Another great show this week and big thanks to the writers this week who have kept this thing rolling so damn well. Huge bummer about you taking a leave, Jim. Mad Dawg will surely be waiting for Lucas to get back so he can match him for last week LOL. ANyways, I know my feedback aint as cool as Nate's but here it goes...

Leader Board-le Royal - Congrats to Lita for johnny picking up the victory. Really great seeing Sid managing to fit the part with the Summit breaking Veronika's leg and it worked out perfectly. Cool seeing Mad Dawg make it to the end and getting to be the one to put Johnny over.

Pet/Samantha - I can say that it's been fun seeing Samantha and Pet interact together and interested in seeing where it goes.

Lester Vs. Neo - Fun match with some great spots. You almost pulled for The Ref but yeah it was pretty apparent he wasn't going to be able to get past this one. Pretty brutal ending and the games between Neo and Manson are getting real interesting.

Trios Tag - Good match and congrats to Will on the victory. Cool seeing the McConnaighs back in action, the tag ranks are heating up.

FSC Match - Definitely love seeing these two in action and loved the pass out finish. Quincy looked like a beast and Holland came out looking unbreakable.

Brittany Vs. Terri - Good Hellcats match between these two and told a nice story through out with a good finish. Congrats to Lita for the win and Terri for getting hat she wanted...kinda.

Pain Vs. Nemesis - Brutal match for a quickie and Pain came out looking good despite the loss. Poor Nemesis though, I guess maybe he should've just been Kim's next plaything...

Alexander & Steel Vs. Eversol - Was a bit sad that Havok really didn't show up...at least for a quick appearance. Felt bad that Eversol had to be the whipping boy in this one. LOL By the way I actually like both names

Hellcat Championship - Very good match and a nice way to cap off Lita's good night. Whole lot of interference in this one but it definitely added to the match rather than detract.

Mungrel Vs. Bloodbath - Very surprised by the ending here but definitely leaves things open moving forward. Cool to see Mad Dawg jump in at the end and help save Mungrel.
