Man, never have I seen so many segments. It's great to see so much support in that department, it really gives a sense of depth to the roster to see everybody interacting and just how many different and unique superstars we have, it's a great time to be apart of FIW, I'm happy to be aboard.

Now, I'll be brief about this. If anybody has a problem with me, take it up with me. Please, and thank you.

Disappointed in both of my losses , but that's just the way the cookie crumbles. I can work with what I'm given and I'm appreciative of that. Could come a time I'll want to hang up the boots when I just run out of things to say for the character's of mine.

Gotta say, was fun to write for Quincy and Mungrel. Love to give my boys props and try and make them look good, I didn't go my usual length with the match this week, it's just been off and on with the work schedule the last two weeks and when I'm available I can crank out the quality more.

Nathaniel is a meat ball. That is all. I root for Eversol though, I do.

Terri needs to get back in the game, I miss seeing her causing trouble. That whole situation with Momo kinda fizzled out, I'm aching to see her branch out and try something new, this was a good start.

Darn, I wanted a decision for Psycho Dragon and Cody, I needed somebody to settle who was better because they were both so damn good last week!

I'm really REALLY surprised Havok won. I honestly thought Seph had the better stuff this week by a clear margin, but I guess the creative approach I took to my rebuttals paid off more than I expected.

Boone (and his tag partner) are leaving the fed by request this week, since I was having a very hard time writing for them. Thanks for all the interest and support you gave the characters, but as I told Steve when I submitted the app, it was sort of experimental. Hence why I didn't gun straight for the tag division. I'll have something else at some point, but I need to do a bit of work to make sure I find something strong that I can work with naturally.

Great job getting the show up nice and early. Its always cool to be able to read it while I'm at work. I liked my havok match just fine, and enjoyed that it played off of previous weeks' efforts and the storyline pieces. I'll have to read the triple threat again, but what I skimmed I enjoyed.

This is like the second time Wight's said this. Which makes me say, I throw my hat in the judge's table again.

Well, I would think your opinion on the match would matter about as much as mine since judging your own match is kind of... uh... gauche?

I meant more so if one person is doubting their own wins/losses perhaps others feel similar about their own. Merely saying a new set of eyes should help out and weigh in.

Aw, man, then I don't know how my side won this week. Mr. Giggles.

I liked the match even though Pet got her ass kicked, which was fine. Blink got her ass kicked, which was fine. And there were a few spelling errors, which were fine because it made me smile. Well, not so much spelling errors, just misplaced words. :P Obviously I kinda knew how the Catherine/Blink situation was gonna go and for a bit I was thinking that Catherine shouldn't...but then realized that why would she have signed on with Kim if not to secure herself financially? She screwed up once, she's given the second chance, would be kinda hard to earn up a third. Plus at least this way it keeps her from becoming a heel.

I did kinda feel I went a bit far with Pet taking Brittany's advice over Stephen...but I figured one time only, might as well go all out. Not like Blink will be begging for that sort of treatment any time soon. lol Though still, poor Blink. Not the best week for her. First she gets talked down to by Brittany, then Pet parades her around, then she fails at showing off she can be an asset, then Catherine hits her with a chair. I daresay we have a new winner for Blink's worst night ever. :P

I really liked writing Terri's promo and the reason the commentary after seems so long is because I couldn't stop. :P Lately, as I mentioned elseworld, I've been going through some older stuff in wrestling. '99 era Raws and the like as well as watching/listening to some of the roundtable discussions they had not too long ago about territory days and whatnot and one of the things that got to me was indeed the art of talking. Back then there wasn't much to get people to come to events other than talking. So it felt kind of nice to run a more classic style segment with Terri. Hopefully I can keep that up and bury the drama that's been her past. Hopefully. :)

Party on,
Joe.

*throws a toothpick at the thread*

Say hello to the bad guy!

Looks like I've gotten myself into somewhat of a kerfuffle by mentioning the other other N word, brother. To reiterate and re-emphasis what Seph said, please come to me if you have any issue with me. I don't hold grudges or beef with anyone here. This is simply about having fun, making silly references, and wrestling nostalgia. Keith Williams is a fictional character that allows me to channel my inner asshole to a hyperbolic level. My mentioning or making jokes of NGIW is meant as an IC statement, nothing to do with OOC. It's something that I did previously with Keith, and I don't think it's out of bounds to make comments about other promotions closely involved with FIW. Comments have been made in the past about NWW where quite a few of us came from, but it's never been an issue because we don't take it personally.

I would prefer to be up front about all of this rather than going about it in a roundabout way and having to talk to other people other than the person concerned about my promos.

Which leads me to...

I'm a little baffled as to why we lost, and why I specifically took the fall if this was a matter of RP quality. Because of what was discussed over the weekend it leads me to believe that the result might have been biased rather than judged by what was put out. If that's not the case, okay, but I'm curious as to what lead to Team Revesis losing. Over the years I've learned to take losses better, especially as DEATH, and I think all three of us put out an A+ effort last week. And if we can't win with that I'm not sure we ever deserve to win.

I enjoy roleplaying as KW, and I just want to be judged based on my abilities as a roleplayer. Seph and I really think we have something with our coming together as a tag-team, we enjoy it, we get to work together and come up with ideas, to us it's about making ourselves laugh and having fun. Judge me not for my sleaze, please.

The show itself was very, very packed and full of things going on. I also can't say enough how nice it is to have the shows consistently on time. It's great to have that predictability and time to work or think up ideas for the next card.

I also am a little surprised to see the Revenants and Nemesis lose, if I'm being honest. I'm not demanding an explanation because (1) it doesn't really affect me in such a way that I'm owed an explanation and (2) I know my vote is only one of many.

But just to be open and honest. This was my exact feedback for this particular match.

I want to vouch for Kyle and say, while Keith can be brutal to go against at times, I don't believe for a second that Kyle is taking liberties. I still remember a Jim/Keith match in 2009 where Kyle just roleplayed his ass off and didn't hold anything back on Jim (I think the end was something like 'Mullets are stupid and Metallica sucks'. My jaw dropped when I finished reading it and I thought "Dude... He's going for the fuckin jugular. AND WE'RE FRIENDS!" But after, we KILLED the roleplay forum that week. And every time we've worked together since, no matter who wins, we bring the best out of each other IMO.

Anyway, that's just my 2 cents on that. Kyle's cool. Don't hate him. :P

Look it came down to this....I made the call on the match. Lita was the only besides me that was eligible to judge the match as all other judges were involved in the match. It was in no way a punishment loss. I have no bias in my decisions. I read the RP's and honestly it was a toss up to me who could win. I think I just felt a bit more connected with Coulter's Crew RP's than I did the others. So I guess it really just came down to a matter of personal preference for me. Could I have made the wrong call? Probably....I've done it before. I'm sorry if you feel cheated. That was not my intention. I consider you my friend, Kyle as we've always got along in the past. As a friend first I came to you and Seph about the whole situation. You guys gave me your side of the story and I believed what you told me. That was the end of it in my eyes.

In all honesty, your PM to me about the whole thing pissed me off. It made me question why I even do this. Though after taking time to cool off, I've decided bygones are bygones and I get why you were upset. However, I think I get a long well enough with everyone around here that if you had just come to me and talked to me reasonably, we could have worked this through without anyone being pissed off.

Darn, I wanted a decision for Psycho Dragon and Cody, I needed somebody to settle who was better because they were both so damn good last week!

This. I really enjoyed the RPs, and I also really enjoyed the match, but that was a fairly.....odd outcome. Don't get me wrong, I don't mind DQs being used to end a match, and I'm absolutely not trying to ridicule That Other Steve's writing ability. That was still a damn good match he wrote, without question. But I was still confused over the ending, especially if given the context of the RPs; Psycho Dragon went on about how he would make Cody "wake up" and release Pain.....and all it takes to make that happen is Havoc showing up out of nowhere and dancing (which was admittedly funny)? A strange end to an otherwise fantastic match, and That Other Steve deserves a Pepsi.

Out of the other matches, my favorites were the non-Title Tag Match ("Where the inbred goes, no one knows!" had me in stitches) and the Triple Threat main event. I really like the Bloodbath McGrath character, and it's easy to see why he's been the Undisputed International Champion for so long. He definitely deserves a Pepsi, also. I'd definitely like to have a match or two with him in the future.

I also liked Lucas Bergeron's interview. As I previously told Jimbo, it made me think that Lucas was a real person, with a real emotional core.

All-in-all, I really liked the results, and I look forward to doing more and more RPs with FIW.

Rock on, guys. :)

I'd offer my feedback on the controversial tag match but I didn't submit results this week as I was dealing with some personal issues. Steve alluded to this in his post, but I thought I would make it crystal clear. As it happens, I dont find the revenants very funny, but that's more a function of me not liking that sense of humor in any medium than a personal bias. I liked Deacon DEATH plenty and have a long-standing soft spot for El Lumberjacko, as well as just above saying I felt Cage had beaten me in RPs.

I'd also advocate, in the future, handling your private business in private where those whom it does not concern dont need to be stressed about it. Calling people out on the forums, no matter how carefully you avoid the subject's actual name, is only a means to create unnecessary drama. We do this for fun, petty grudges (imagined or otherwise) dont need to be dragged out under everyone's nose for any reason.

Alright, I can understand that, Steve. I didn't mean to make you question all of e-fed reality, it was just...

It was the heat of the moment
Telling me what my heart meant
The heat of the moment showed in your eyes~!

I see where you're coming from Wight, but I don't consider this to be a private matter because the person in question never even came to me man-to-man. I wanted to be as completely transparent as I could be with my feedback because I know there's plenty of people here now who were with NGIW. I also don't want anyone to get the wrong idea with what's being presented as far as The Revenants go. And to be fair, I haven't called out anyone, I wanted to clear up something that was basically passed down to me from one person to the next. The drama began when they didn't approach me themselves.

Also... Lita.

To be fair... I admit to being an asshole. And I give full license to whomever to run Keith Williams' name through the mud, he's a dick. I heard he came into the business with a stupid pyro gimmick. Eee-yuck.

Long live the Hellcats. May they never be called Divas.

Cody McGinnis © vs Psycho Dragon

I always enjoy writing Cody matches, he has a moveset that is really cool to play around with so it's why I signed up for this match. I hope it was enjoyable and that the H@vok spot where he danced was at least somewhat comical. Both handlers did a fantastic job this week though and I can't wait to see more from Psycho Dragon.

Mungrel/Kim Coulter Segment
I liked the segment to see Kim standing up for Nathaniel and setting the wheels in motion for the coming week. Good segment.

Pet & Blink Segment
Cool to see that Pet was persistent with carrying out the plan that Team BFF all came up with, even when there was a bit of trepidation too. Cool seeing them right before carrying it out.

4R © vs The McConnaighs
I like The McConnaighs and a glad we get them here in FIW too. It's cool seeing a new tag team rise up to give 4R some competition. Glad they picked up the win and it's gonna be cool seeing what they decide in regards to The Coulter Crew. If they decide to join the group is gonna be hitting nWo numbers or Bullet Club. *2sweets all around* :P

Stephen Eversol, Pet & Blink Segment
Jo gets the credit for this one. He wrote out the segment and I just added a couple lines of dialogue and a little bit of action. Lord knows, Eversol can't resist a hot woman so he was the perfect target for Pet. Hilarious segment.

Jonathan Hitchen interviews Lucas Bergeron Part 1
Phenomenal. The whole time I was reading it I kept thinking that this is what WWE should be doing to get people over is give them easily relatable stories. That interruption was great too.

Terri Golde Promo
Glad to see angry and persistent Terri. She said Mercedes' name too so that's awesome more feuds to build in the Hellcat division.

Camila Martinez vs Mistress Lilith Lovecraft
I like the Camila character a lot and it sucks that we didn't get anything from Lovecraft but I tried to make it a shock that Camila would be able to bear her so hopefully it came across that way. I look forward to what else we see from the character.

Kim Coulter & Catherine Neville Segment
I like how Kim just lays it out there like a damn mobster in a "take it or leave it" fashion. Cool seeing Catherine show her unwillingness to comply.

Bloodbath McGrath © vs Cyrus Boone vs Johnny Amazing
Nate did a good job of giving each competitor equal offense and as always his commentary and attention to continuity is top notch. I had no idea who would win in this one. So I thought having Bloodbath basically steal a win from Johnny was a good way to keep him strong too. Cyrus was a cool character and maybe we'll see him back in a different role at some point.

Roy, Brittany, Rufus & Darian Segment
Wow, Rufus is a total dick. Keep feeling bad for Roy and Brittany too. She's the epitome of supportive girlfriend. Really shows just how busy she is and how chaotic her life is and how far Roy has fallen. Good segment from everyone who wrote it.

H@VOK vs Cage Murdock
I thought the Cage RPs this week were funny and it was cool character development but it just made me wonder how in the world Cage could even win at all. Maybe that was the point? Wight and Seph really did great with their RPs and trying decide a winner was pretty tough. That damn clown in the H@vok RP too.

Cage Murdock Segment
Are we gonna see a bald Cage? That would be cool is he wore a wig with a hat attached or something. I'm interested in where this all goes. Good stuff.

Mercedes Blackwell/Nathaniel Alexander Segment
Hopefully that didn't make Mercedes come off like too much of a whore or anything. I was trying to just get Nathaniel teased enough that he wouldn't protest while still maintaining her dignity. Another hilarious segment where I wanted Mercedes to be persistent with carrying out the plan she and her friends came up with.

Pet & Blink Segment
I liked Blink thinking she's this total failure when in reality her and Pet succeeded in their plan.

Kim Coulter & The Tea Party vs Mercedes Blackwell, Brittany, Pet & Blink
Great match with every single competitor getting some time, stories moving forward and great wrestling too. I really didn't think Catherine would do it but holy hell she did. It was really awesome that Mercedes is the one who got the win, then stare down between her and Kim at the end was great in building them to RATC next week.

Jonathan Hitchen interviews Lucas Bergeron Part 2
Feel bad for Lucas that he basically is in love with Brittany. I was into it when this was first introduced about a month ago. Glad to see that it's unfolding now. Great job, Jim.

Quincy Wilson vs Mungrel
The result makes sense now that Mungrel is going to get his rematch against Nathaniel. I thought Bran had a great RP this past week though where Quincy was lost without his title.

Nathaniel Alexander & Stephen Eversol Segment
Nate and I decided to do this segment when we felt we hadn't mentioned our opponents as much as we should have. It was a way to put them over a little and to also continue showing the tension between the two, while they're trying to basically put it aside cause they both are competing not only for the titles but for Kim too.

The Coulter Crew (Nathaniel Alexander, Stephen Eversol, & Jimmy Steel) vs The Revenants & Nemesis

I wasn't sure who would win this match as I thought it could go either way. I could realistically see the logic in having Nemesis and the Revenants winning as they did a great job with their RPs this past week and like I had said, we didn't mention our opponents as much as we probably should have. I think we both got caught up with pushing our own story line as "frenemies". That ending image was great.

I wanted to read Jim's promo when I had the time to read it, and I'm glad I did. Because skimming that piece of business is not the justice it deserves. That was like an authentic interview and I feel like Lucas is a living and breathing person. His way of speaking, his mannerisms, they all made him feel like a fleshed out character and I've never seen a character go from 0-60 so fast. This is like the interview JR did with "Mankind" It's good, it's gold and I highly recommend it to anyone who hasn't given it their full attention.

Gold my friend, solid gold.

I do want to say thank you for all the kinds words for the Lucas interview so far. I was concerned because it was pretty long and had a lot of verbal fellatio of Jim O'Brien (who, I'm starting to get the feeling has "go-away" heat already). In terms of Lucas feeling real and authentic... well, do you listen to people when they talk? They mumble, stutter and say "um" a lot. :P One of the things that bugs me about WWE (and I'm bringing them up because, at one point another, we've all watched Raw and I think it's safe to say that their production and presentation of has influenced us, as writers, in one way or another) is that Raw and Smackdown are just so sanitized and contrived and clean. There's no emotion or authenticity. "But wrestling's fake, hurr durr durr." Watch a Ric Flair promo on Eric Bischoff and tell me that's fake. That's why I watch mostly from the 80s up to the mid 90s, because most of the stars in that timeframe were in their primes when people still believed wrestling was real, so the Flairs, Dustys, Funks, and Andersons of the wrestling world had to present themselves, whether it be in matches or in promos, in a believable manner. Otherwise, a couple blown spots could really hurt, or even kill, a territory because the people didn't believe in it anymore. Anyway, I'm really droning on...

But thank you for the kind words. I think if you look at it through the lens of a wrestling promo or even a wrestling interview it's not all that good. But if you compare it to an interview you would see on 20/20 or Sportscenter or 60 Minutes, I think it's pretty good.

I do want to say one last thing on the roleplay judging front, and then I won't mention anything again - I'm willing to cut Steve some slack because IMO roleplay judging is harder now than it's ever been in FIW. Nobody here sucks. There are no easy wins anymore. This isn't like 2004 when we had two brands and anywhere between 25-40 handlers. I mean, hell, how many of the handlers here have won the Dual Crown (and the NGIW title for that matter)? And honestly, I feel like 2/3rds of the handlers here could write a Dual Crown Championship winning roleplay (with the right character of course - sorry, but I just can't write an Anastasia Grimm roleplay that could probably win a match at this point, let alone win the DCC :P ). So, just give Steve a break once in awhile. I f things don't work out the way you want them, talk it over with Steve and I'm sure you'll be able to hash things out.

I know I wouldn't want to be the final arbitrator of who wins and loses here. This is the best the entire FIW roster has been in a very long time.

As it goes with the show, once again we did a great job. I loved Steve's writing in the McConnaigh tag, the way he wrote Finn's hot tag gave me flashbacks of Cesaro. I dig it! I didn't expect to win the match, but I do know Lita and I have some fun ideas for this little storyline arc that I hope you guys will enjoy.

Psycho Dragon is REALLY good. Cannot wait to see more out of you. I agree with Bleak btw, Cody is one of my more favorite characters to write in a match because his moveset is fun to play around with. He's like that Heath Slater mold that just desperately flails all the moves he knows at you until he takes you out.

I don't know why, but I totally love Havok and internally mark out when I see Wight's done an RP. He has really carved an identity for himself and I like this version better than just about everything else Wight has done with the Havok character.

The Revenants are fantastic. Absolutely perfect douchebag heels that absolutely nobody likes.

Admittedly when I saw some similarities in Finn and Cesaro's movesets, I watched a Cesaro & Kidd tag match as inspiration. So yeah some of the stuff was ripped off for the match. :P For instance the back and forth lariats, was Cesaro with the uppercuts.
