On my phone so feedback will be shorter. Enjoyed the pet segments. Feel like Cage is just floating around without a real good direction. Now I'm Johnny Valentino AmazingT.T

Cool use it of Revenants tag moves. Dug the match.

Yay Darian.

Well...That sucks. I felt I had Psycho Dragon's match in the bag, but it is what it is.

I really like the gauntlet that Mercedes is going through. The match between her and Nathaniel Alexander should be fun.

"NEO! FUCKING! CARNER!" was on point, tonight. His segment was hilarious, and one of the high points of the card.

It's also great to see Johnny Amazing snag such a huge win. I'm hoping he gets that shot at the Fighting Spirit Championship. Could a feud between him and Havoc over the Title be in the cards?

10/31 is shaping up to be a trippy, but awesome team.

Overall, another solid card. :)

Dont worry, Seph. I'm sure Cage will find something to do soon.

Great show! Grats on getting it up so early! That took some work and congratulations to all involved.

Thanks to Sid for all the hard work on my matches I really liked how they turned out.

Aw, two losses. Oh well. Honestly I don't know what I'm doing wit Sadovsky. I think I'm just gonna retire him. Honestly I had to force my way through that RP and this week will most likely be the same. I know other people like him but I just don't enjoy writing him anymore. So might be best to remove him from the card before things start happening.

I kinda knew the details of the Kim/Blink affair so, um, well written in full detail? lol

I'm kinda biting my tongue on the Kim/Mercedes situation as of late. I'm just saying it now because there might be a rant coming in a few weeks. Also bringing it up now because Kim is starting to use the reasons I've become less and less of a fan in this.

I enjoyed writing up the little segments for the show. Pet's rapidly growing obsession with proving Brittany is a practicing dominatrix and Terri settling things in house were, yeah, fun to write. Again, I tried to make the Terri one a little closer to how WWE would've produced it with lengthy commentary and even replays. The whole "Such a disgusting act. Here it is again." ordeal as both them and a parody of them. Now all I have to do is fully objectify women while calling others who do it a jackass and then entice fans to cheer on their breasts. Yay! In walks Pet...

Party on,
Joe.

Follow Pet's Twitter if you don't mind...you know, Pet being Pet. Also, she tends to mention it a fair bit. (NSFW)

Like I said last week, I'll be getting detailed feedback up for this week's show as soon as I can, but for now just wanted to say big thanks to The Other Steve for picking up my slack with Finn vs Darian. I was working on it last night and earlier today, but real life stuff got in the way of finishing it, so The Other Steve basically started from scratch cause I wasn't even able to get him what I'd had written. So, big thanks to him on that.

Really enjoyed the main-event for Fallout this week written by Sid. Had some action, had some tag-teaming, and progressed the tension between Eversol/Alexander. While at the same time giving MD a much needed win over Bloodbath. Felt like a main-event of a good RAW that leads into a PPV.

Excited to see the rest of the competitors for the Lethal Lottery Ladder match coming together, especially with the addition of Johnny Amazing.

And look at that, I get to team up with The Amazing One this week as well.

Just so everyone knows, I had to step back again this week as my mind just wasn't with FIW and it hasn't been for a couple weeks now due to my circumstances. Lita and my team really have stepped it up the past couple weeks and put things together in my mental absence.

With that, after Blessed & Forsaken I will be taking a hiatus from FIW. As of right now I'm hoping it to be just one PPV cycle. It could be sooner. I will work out all the details of my replacement over this week.

Sometimes taking a sabbatical is the best way to clear your mind and ready yourself for the coming work ahead. Sometimes it's also the boost you need to realize that the position is just no longer for you. Either way, I support your decision and hope your life settles down in the intervening time.

Show Intro
So I've been doing these for two weeks and I'm already struggling with the signs. If anyone has any sign ideas, please pass them my way and I'll gladly work them into the show intros.

Blessed & Forsaken Lethal Lottery Ladder Match Qualifier
Triple Threat Match

"The Ladies Man" Maddox Blade vs. "The Last American Predator" Gus Richlen vs. "The Prince" Oliver Brandon
Writer: Jay

This was a great match between the FIW rookies. I loved how competitive it was. If I had one gripe, it's not even something that is specific to this actual match or Jay himself as a writer. I notice that some people write signature spots by calling them the name the wrestler gave the move. That's awesome and I totally get that people would rather read their personalized name for the move because that's why it exists, but it does make it difficult for readers to see what's happening if they don't already have the move committed to memory. I try to call the real move in the match descriptions and then have the announce mark out for it by calling it what the wrestler calls it. Just a thought. I may be in the minority here, but I thought I'd throw it out there.

Hellcats Match
Singles Match

Anastasia Grimm vs. Sunshine
Referee: Kristy Arnold
Writers: Jim, T, Jonny

This was incredible. I am loving the Psycho Dragon match interruptions and it's always great to see intense in-ring segments. I feel that's something that we tend to lack in e-feds. All the promo-ing is mostly done in RPs and we just do matches and short segments on the shows. I thoroughly enjoyed this and I totally ship Cody and Anastasia.

Singles Match
Finn McConnaigh [size0]w/ Owen McConnaigh vs. Darian Gray [size0]w/ Roy Harlowe
Referee: Domenic Dorsch
Writer: Nate The Other Steve

A nice quick match. I liked the shortness of it since Will has departed yet again and Nate was unable to get to this match, it was perfectly fine being this quick. And I think it made Darian look great so that's always good.

Hellcats Match
Three-on-One Handicap Match

The Tea Party vs. Mercedes Blackwell
Referee: Mark Deveraux
Writer: Lita

I didn't have a clue what I wanted to do with this. I hope Bleak was OK with the Tea Party getting a lot of licks in despite Adam no-showing with them. I just didn't want to completely bury the Tea Party in a three-on-one handicap match. This whole match was really just to set up for next week's main-event that I'm really excited about. Mercedes is one of my favorite characters on the roster and I love that Steve approved an opportunity for the Hellcats title storyline to main-event a show alongside the Dual Crown storyline. I hope it turns out great.

Neo Carner Promo
Writer: Seph

Hilarious stuff. I'm liking Neo a lot more since the Revenants started, to be completely honest. He's more fun now and I like that from a heel character. This kind of stuff is the fun antics I love seeing from someone that you wants to see get his ass kicked.

Main Event
Blessed & Forsaken Lethal Lottery Ladder Match Qualifier

Triple Threat Match

Psycho Dragon vs. Cage Murdock vs. Mungrel
Referee: Logan Black
Writer: Jay

I am a little surprised that Psycho Dragon didn't win this considering how hot the character has been lately, but it's a little hard to top the hilarity and entertainment value of Mungrel. And I'm super excited about Mungrel being in the B&F Ladder Match as he adds a lot of credibility to the match, much like Keith Williams. It helps the newer guys like Johnny Amazing and Maddox Blade to get elevated by being placed alongside them in such a huge opportunity.

Fallout

Blessed & Forsaken Lethal Lottery Ladder Match Qualifier
Non-Title Singles Match

Pyotr Sadvosky vs "Immaculate" Jimmy Steel vs. Johnny Amazing
Referee: Richard Kelly
Writer: Jay

I'm so happy to see Johnny win this match and actually have something he can set his sights on. I do want to say that I absolutely loved the Jimmy Steel RP that Marc put out this week. Shame it was after the deadline, but I love the idea that Steel is a tad resentful towards Johnny because he's basically what Steel tried to be as Dern. That story has so much potential to really let Steel break out as a heel that you can empathize with but still hate for going after a fan favorite, I think. Marc and I should talk.

Intergender Tag Team Match
H@VOK & Avila vs. Quincy Wilson & Cody McGinnis
Referee: Lester Riggs
Writer: Sid

I miss Bran. Quincy was so much fun when I first came back to FIW. I really wish Bran was able to put that kind of time and effort into him still. This was a nice quick match that really felt like something you'd see in WWE within the US or IC division when they're building to something bigger. I loved that Cody looked good, Quincy screwed it up, and Havok was funny yet still able to be taken seriously as a competitor. Avila's assist was nicely done too.

Terri Golde, Honey Rydell & Samantha Hayes Promo
Writer: Jo

Hm. I guess this didn't go exactly like I thought it was going to, but I guess it was OK. I would have preferred more explanation from Terri rather than the announcers assuming something so small would be the cause of this. I think natural assumption should have leaned more towards Terri doing it simply because she's a paranoid nutjob.

Singles Match
Poe [size0]w/ 10/31 vs. "The Haunted" Erik Holland
Referee: Domenic Dorsch
Writer: Sid

Another short match but I like it. It told enough to make Poe look good and that's what he needs right now. I'd really love to see a good, hot storyline involving 10/31. Right now they sort of just feel like they're there. With October right around the corner, I can't wait to see what happens with this group.

Pet and Brittany Segments
Writer: Jo

Jo pretty much wrote everything. I just told him how Brittany would initially react to all the objects. With Jo, I knew that regardless of how she reacted there would be no difference to Pet's interpretation of it so I didn't really give it too much thought. Lol.

Hellcat Match
Non-Title Singles Match

Kim Coulter vs. Blink
Referee: Mark Deveraux
Writer: Lita

I had more fun writing this than I thought I would. I pitched the initial idea to Jo pretty early because I knew Kim would be stupid not to use Catherine to her advantage against Blink. But I didn't want it to just be Blink getting kicked around because that's would be too obvious. Having Pet rip Blink's skirt off allowed for Blink to get some licks in without it being out of character for her. I was sort of ready for Kim to lose this match and was going to use Blink's freak out for it, but was surprised to see so many votes in favor of Kim. Thank you, guys.

Main Event
Six-Man Tag Team Match

The Revenants & Mad Dawg vs. Nathaniel Alexander, Stephen Eversol & Bloodbath McGrath
Referee: Tony Clarke
Writer: Sid

I absolutely agree with Kyle's assessment on this match. It really did feel like a RAW main-event (a good one!) that would close out a show right before a PPV. I loved seeing Mad Dawg look so f'in awesome in the close of the show. The character really needed and deserved that. And of course I love those Revenants. But more than that I love the constant bickering of Nathaniel and Stephen. They are always a highlight of the show for me.

I agree with Lita about the signature moves thing. When I wrote I kind of made it a sign of the wrestlers popularity being high when the majority of the board already knows what the move is by their name for it. Think of it on the WWE level; you see a move a midcarder performs, you might know the technical name for it, but the announcer is the one who tells you what the wrestler calls it. Something else id do is describe the move. Like, if its a piledriver say "so and so forces her opponents head between her legs, HOISTS them vertical and DROPS knees-first to.the canvas, SPIKING their head against the mat!" And then Chip's all like "Goose Down Pillowdriver! I love that move!" or whatever.

Thank you for that, Lita. I'm really proud of that segment, and I'm thoroughly enjoying the directions this angle is going. :)

I'm happy that people like Psycho Dragon; His revival has been better than I hoped.

I echo Lita and Wight. I always give the move description in the lead up and have commentary mark out over it. Kinda have to do it with Neo because the old Spatial Rend is either a Spinning Unprettier or Widowmaker depending on who you ask, and now a days it's a God damn Suplex Uranage.

Really great show this week. Sorry late with the feedback but didn't get much of a chance to get online after the show was posted. Surprised Mad Dawg was the one to end the main event after the recent drought the past few weeks so I'm definitely stoked he got a chance to pick up some much needed momentum.

Triple Threat qualifier was a good fun match too even though I knew I was losing. Sorry for the late post, was midway through and my kid talked me into a Super Mario Maker-off. It was about 4:30 so I thought I'd just play for a couple hours and go back to finish it up by 7. Next thing I know it's 9:30 so I just finished it up and put it up anyway.

Definitely interested in seeing something develop between him and Johnny with the similar dynamics so I'll get in touch with ya soon Lita to get something possibly rolling after B&F (don't really want to have Steel in a match at B&F since Mad Dawg and 4R will probably be both booked.)

SHame that Sadovsky probably will be retired but in a way it's probably for the best when for some reason he can never get rolling. It doesn't really help his character if he's constantly coming back for little one-offs so retiring may be the best route to go.

Huge shame that Steve has to take time off but I fully understand with everything he's had going on lately. Definitely enjoyed having ya in charge.

I really hate having to try to find my promo legs all over again, esp. when I now work full-time and thus lose most of my free time for promos.

Next couple shows will probably be shaky as far as quality for me....
