I just wanna pop in and say two things. First, I'm impressed with the number of segments this week. Very nice to see! Second, for any Hellcats booked in next week's Halloween Costume Contest, please let me know ASAP what your Hellcat will be wearing. Thanks! |

Each show seems to get more and more packed as things have progressed. Competition seems to be at its highest now with the amount of talented writers we have all at or near the same level. I felt good initially about the RP I put out this week, but then I didn't really know what to think of it. From here on out I'm going to try to play KW a bit differently yet just the same. It's nice to feel like there's some direction going on with Keith and The Revenants. The segment Seph put out was really good and established some things despite the fact he's been unable to be as active as he wants. I'm not sure if I ever made it known my interest of the UIC, but I liked seeing the blurp about Mad Dawg and Keith being a potential contender. Overall I'm happier with things and it seems like others are enjoying the craft and characters they're creating or evolving. Be on the look out in the future for a segment co-written by myself and Lita. I think it'll give people that like my writing style and character a reason to like both more, and for those that aren't big fans maybe it'll make them a little more interested. Also, I'd have to say the title of hardest working man in e-fedding now has to go to Sid. Billy and Marc before him were juggernauts, however, Sid brings a new meaning and exuberance to the term. I only fear burn out because of the amount he puts in and writes. I've seen it before with Ash, many a time. I can only echo again and again how nice it is to have shows consistently on time and written so well. |

Isn't it great when a show goes even better than you expected? I really loved all the promos I read. Seph's, Eversol's, Alexander's, and Steel's all really stood out to me. I really enjoyed them! Sometimes a handler just nails a character, especially when that character is in a particular situation and they just react to it in a way that's so... ... THEM, and we had FOUR handlers do that this week. I loved it! I liked the matches. Glad to see Keith sneak away with a win in the triple threat, although I feel all three competitors did a great job this week. SO PSYCHED to have the Brick Sharks back in a place where I also am, and super glad about how the aftermath played out. Of course, loved the main event. Not at all how I pictured it going down, but in a totally good way. It kept it exciting to read and I love how much we're pushing Gus Richlen! You're my boy, Gus! EDIT: I wish you could've heard the noise I made when I saw Hallowe'evolt's poster. It was like... "HOoooOOOOOOoo~hhhHHHHHHHHHHHHHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAhahahahahahaaaaaaa!" I feel honored. |

I'll also agree with the fact Jo and Bleak put out some quality stuff this week. Eversol's a character that has really found his niche over the past few months. Bleak has an established and well paced style with him. And Jo when he has a fire inside of him seems to put out really good, spirited promos. The banner treatment is always self pop worthy, ain't it? |

To be honest, that was one of the hardest matches to call this week. Not only for me either, pretty much everyone's thoughts were "everyone was good, but I feel X should win" and X was different from each person. So, in the end I tried to go with a finish that I felt benefited everyone and gave everyone a little something going forward. That's been a norm since taking over duties in general though. Alot of matches, if everyone shows up, is pretty much described as "Everyone was good". Which I think speaks less for the judges and more on the sheer talent made up in the roster's ranks. Really the only slights most weeks are if someone bombed or if someone isn't consistent in showing up. That's not bad for a fed when those are the bad aspects of it's handlers. |

Thank you on the kind words over the writing. I did try and have Catherine look at the match as an approachable possibility. Also I tried to give Terri a little something. But while I was alright with Catherine's loss, I did kinda feel somewhat stung by Terri's.Based on the week though, I will say this. For future reference at least. I understand if characters wish to be artistic with their characters and throw out something a little funky every now and then, however it wasn't exactly fun trying to find a binary translation site that wasn't trying to install something on my computer. So...a translation at the bottom or even a link to a site would be nice. Although, a translation would work better given that depending on what's trying to be said it may come off as different than what was intended. Not to mention that the translation can kind of lose its feeling when instead of read on an RP board you're getting it underneath a banner with a dancing dinosaur and the one on the left is audibly informing me of how I can lose my money. Just food for thought there. I did also enjoy writing out the Johnny/Honey promo this week, even if it was a last minute effort. Not to mention Pet's date with Mercedes was a lot of fun, even though it felt like it could've gone on a lot longer. lol But obviously ended at a good spot. Avila and Blink went where I kinda thought it would. The end result at least. Now Blink has something else to wear. Of course she'll have to bring it in for weights for it to feel comfy. I really enjoyed the Mercedes victory speech promo. Figured it would make sense for her to perform one.Party on, Joe. ~eat snacky smores~ |

I don't know what search engine you use, but searching for "Binary to English" or "Hex to English" has always yielded me an in-browser translator in the first three results, if not the first one. |

Yahoo. But that's the minor part of my argument there. The bigger part is still being taken from the moment and potentially not getting the translation as designed by the writer. That's my biggest concern. Again, it's fine people want to be artistic but just don't let your meaning be lost in translation. ![]() Party on, Joe. ~eat snacky smores~ |

Another one knocked out of the park this week. Really enjoyed the show and a really cool ending in the main event. My apologies for not getting a Jimmy RP out in time, I was sick as hell most of last week (I honestly didn't have anything in me to even read B&F until Friday afternoon) and after hammering out that hot garbage of a RP for 4R (I was not happy with how that turned out at all) I ended up starting the Steel RP Sunday afternoon, got halfway through and went to roll a little something to get my juices going and when I came back Windows decided to do an update with no warning whatsoever. So after that happened, I guess you could say I hit a bit of a 'fuck it' mode and just shut myself down the rest of the day before finally telling myself that I have to at least get a promo for the show in. But I'm glad everyone so far enjoyed the promo from Steel. On the translation thing, I can kind of agree that even though it adds a bit of originality, it can also detract when you have to switch tabs, google a translation page, and then copy and paste. Once or twice isn't too bad, but I've seen an entire RP in binary code and it was a bit of a pain going through all of that to basically read 10 sentences. I also remember the Iglesias RP that was completely in Spanish...and the only upside was that he added a link to Google Translate. Which is nice, but still the extra work can turn some people off (not to mention if you're on your phone there's nothing at all you can do besides ask "WTF do I do with this"). Anywaays, I've been meaning to bring it up the past few weeks but I need some help choosing a theme for 4R. For some reason the only thing I can come up with is "Du Hast" and "Raining Blood" by Slayer but at the same time I'm not 100% feeling them either. |

Opening In-Ring Segment: Nate & Sid I absolutely love shaking things up every now and again with an in-ring segment. Having the champ open the show with an in-ring segment makes things feel legit, honestly. Nathaniel is such an egotist who loves the sound of his own voice, so the more we see of him running his mouth the easier it is to hate this character the way he truly deserves to be hated. I loved him throwing out a challenge to someone he thought he put out only to have him show up and scare the crap outta Nathaniel. I love the Nathaniel/Nemesis stuff. Welcome to FIW Match Singles Match Nick Riot vs. Terry McQuire Writer: Sid A great debut match for these two characters. Shame only one of them RPed, but hey you got yourself a good first victory! Nathaniel & Kim Segment: Lita I threw this together last minute after I saw what happened in the show opening segment. I knew that Kim was going to be offered up, but I felt like she needed to respond ASAP. I really hope Nate is OK with it. If not, I apologize profusely and will make it up to you somehow. Welcome to FIW Match Tag Team Match Brick Sharks vs. 4R Writer: Lita I had fun writing this match. 4R are such great wrestlers to write because they're so big and strong. It made it so much easier to write the Brick Sharks. Speaking of the Sharks, I am so glad that I brought them in because they are so fun to RP. They're like Johnny but they get to be even more child-like and fun. Wight's comments made me feel really good to see how excited he is to be in the same fed with the Sharks. I always worry that they're kind of boring and only I'm enjoying them. Lol. So glad that we are getting to feud 10/31 and the Sharks in some capacity. Wight and I discussed the possibility and I think they'd play great off one another. Johnny & Honey Segment: Lita & Jo I wanted Johnny on the show and I thought it'd be cute for him to casually give her one of his hats. Glad Jo was game. Hellcats Match Avila vs. Terri Golde Writer: Sid I was a little surprised that Avila won, to be honest. However, Avila's stuff was good and there was quite a bit of content. I voted Terri but admitted that if the judges felt differently that I could absolutely see it going that way as well. My only complaint with Avila this week was that she was with Blink and we all know that I simply tolerate Blink. No more, no less. Lol. Stephen Eversol Interview: Other Steve Awesome stuff. I totally am digging the Stephen Eversol character. I'm glad to see him traveling back to an actual babyface rather than dancing the line. As great as Eversol is as an asshole, Nathaniel has claimed that position on the roster and it's tough for anyone to be more of an asshole than him. Eversol as the humbled wrongdoer fits him great and I look forward to seeing more of him trying to prove himself as a legit competitor and as a good guy when hardly anybody on the roster buys him as such. Neo Carner Promo: Seph Stunned to see something from Neo on the show, given Seph's situation. This was an incredible promo and could have easily been show opener material if Seph had the time and ability to collaborate with someone to create a storyline moment rather than Neo Carner self-hype. But we all love Neo Carner self-hype! Main Event Triple Threat Match Catherine vs. Keith Williams vs. Stephen Eversol Writer: Sid I really thought Eversol had this, but dammit I love Keith Williams and I supported him hardcore too! I know his RP danced that line of "is he playing a despised heel or is he being an ass?" so I wouldn't have been surprised to see his RP leave a bad taste in the mouths of a lot of people. Honestly, I do love it. It's the kind of heel we don't see much in efeds because so many people do get suspicious or worked up over potential pot shot or what have. I can't fault anyone for it because I've been guilty of reacting as such in the past (and maybe recently too, I can't recall). But at the end of the day, I think Keith just sounds like an absolutely reprehensible character that nobody puts any stock into the things that come out of his mouth. He's not a fan favorite that's leading an army of fans that agree with the shit he says. He's an asshole that the fans laugh at for being an idiot and then boo him for picking on the people and things they like. I'm hoping his victory signifies that others see him that way as well. My apologies to Jo for Kim's orders that Catherine not win. Clearly Jo was able to defy them if he felt differently, but that's Kim Coulter. She's not going to let Catherine put herself in any position that will elevate her to championship contendership and potentially championship level to where she'd no longer need Kim's employment. That's the whole point of this angle, and I assume Jo understands and wanted it this way. Catherine is a slave and Kim's intent is to keep her as one. But of course that NEVER happens in pro wrestling. Hehe. Mercedes Video Package: Other Steve This was awesome. Great stuff and I'm glad the Other Steve is so into Mercedes and pumped over her Hellcats victory. It makes me feel comforted that the Hellcats division is resting on the shoulders of a great character. Grudge Match Hardcore Match Cody McGinnis vs. Lucas Bergeron Writer: Other Steve Good writing on this one. Lucas and Cody were written so exhausted that I felt exhausted reading this match, but not in a bad way. The ladder spot was awesome and a good way to keep this from having a winner and letting things continue. The Psycho Dragon promo after was good heel work. Mad Dawg Promo: Marc Another awesome promo in this show. I'm so glad to see Mad Dawg as champ and glad to see Marc interested in it. I was afraid some poor booking circumstances might be affecting his interest in the fed and I'd hate to see Marc go. I love all his characters! Singles Match Darian Gray vs. Mungrel Writer: Nate Great victory here for Mungrel. Sucks that we didn't get anything from Darian. Such a great character. Mercedes & Kellyn Face-off: Other Steve & Nate I'm really happy with how this came out. Nate and the Other Steve do some great work together and I'm happy to bring that dynamic into the Hellcat Division. What does it say about these two individuals that Nate ALWAYS plays the heel and Steve ALWAYS plays the face? Lol. I really wanted this to happen for a few reason: 1) I wanted to establish early on that while Kellyn is clearly a dominant force, Mercedes won't let her cut the line so to speak because we have no intentions of hotshotting Kellyn into the title picture, 2) I wanted Nate to get a feel for writing this character's voice without being thrown into a match off the start, and 3) I really wanted to establish Mercedes as the alpha cat of the division who fought tooth and nail to earn her reign and is not going to be happy defending against anyone unless they also earn it. Good stuff, guys! Thanks for helping the Hellcat Division get better and better! Hellcats Match Non-Title Match Helena Handbasket vs. Mercedes Blackwell Writer: Lita I'm disappointed that Adam didn't RP. I really love Helena and think she has potential to be a major player in the Hellcat Division. Steve's stuff was good as always and I can only assume Sid's got some plans in the work with Mercedes getting this win via DQ. Jimmy Steel Interview: Marc Same applies here as to Marc's earlier promo. I love Jimmy Steel and think he's fantastic as a bitter heel that's kind of a doofus. Jimmy doesn't win (still) and he generally looks fool but Marc still manages to write him so tough and bitter that you don't look at him as a joke. He's still got this edge to him and I love that. Main Event Fighting Spirit Championship Champion's Choice Tͮ͐͘҉̧̮̙̪̝Ĩ̧̼̝̗̺ͫͣ̈́̔̕̕E̷̢͔͙̫̠̥̭̊ͣͮ̾ͧ͟R̠̫͚̪̙̖̉̔) © vs. Gus Richlen vs. Jimmy Steel vs. Oliver Brandon Writer: Sid Interesting conclusion to this match. I was curious how things were going to go given that only half of this match got anything up. Sucks that Steel is out because I really like him, but I'm excited for his match with Johnny next week. That should be fun. I'm also excited for Tier and Richlen next week. This has turned into a nice little rivalry between these two men. I'm liking it. And Wight, I'm glad you liked the Hallowe'Volt poster.

I can see your point, but more often than not these promos are put up as... almost a solely artistic piece. I wouldn't say they "don't count" or anything, but they usually only amount to two, maybe three sentences? It's a rare occasion something like that would win an RP, much less tip the scales. I see it as more keeping up the aesthetic of the character. If you want to take a closer look and try to see what they're saying, you can. If not, well, it probably isn't going to be your downfall. I mean, let's take this week for example. I seriously doubt any of the judges (myself included) would've said something like "oh, yeah, Avila won because she did that code thingy. That shit is tiiiiiiiiiiiight." |

Opening In-Ring Segment: I had written this segment earlier in the week when Sid brought the idea to me and I really like the way it turned out. I tried to channel a bit of Seth Rollins in Nathaniel's reactions to the crowd and in his overall promo, I'm not sure if that came out at all, though. I basically just tried to go "classic heel" as usual with him. Hopefully everyone enjoyed this for what it was. Nick Riot vs. Terry McGuire This was a good first victory for Nick Riot. I really liked the RP Nick posted up for this match. It definitely fit the heel persona and it was a really fun read. I think it's gonna be cool to see where the character goes from here nad how Terry McGuire bounces back from this loss. Also, I like how Terry McGuire is from Round Rock, Texas cause that's where I live. Lol. Nathaniel & Kim Segment: I had no idea this was gonna be included. Lol. Lita, I'm completely okay with this the way it went. I think it worked out perfectly given the way Nathaniel essentially turned Kim into some sort of property that could be wagered in his future match against Nemesis. It's gonna be interesting and a lot of fun seeing where this goes from here. I'm sure Nathaniel will have hell to pay. Lol. Brick Sharks vs. 4R I'm really glad Lita decided to bring the Brick Sharks over from NGIW. I may or may not have already said that before, but just in case, I'll say it again This match was awesome and I like the way the pinfall victory came with Gunther sort of being thrown off balance. With the difference in size and strength between these two teams, the Sharks definitely had to work in some speed and high-flying offense to keep the bigger 4R on their toes. I think all of that played out perfectly.Johnny & Honey Segment: For this being a last-minute effort as Jo said, I think it was really good from both he and Lita. I really like the way this story is playing out with Honey secretly crushing on Johnny. The way it was written really came off almost like a movie scene in the silliness and Honey's "I love you" at the end. Lol. Almost like a kid's movie or a romantic comedy or something when one character just can't bring themselves to confess their feelings for the other. Really good stuff with this one. Avila vs. Terri Golde This was a nice, short match and it was cool to see Avila take the victory here. I agree with Lita that the RP's for Avila were really good. I think the shortness of the match gave it a bit of a quick pace, which was a good thing, as I'd think Avila might want to end it quicker given the size difference as Chip and Jonathan both alluded to in the commentary. Definitely a fun read. Stephen Eversol Interview: I got a sneak peak of this before it went up because Bleak had accidentally PM'ed it to me. Lol. I think the way Bleak portrayed Eversol here was perfect coming off the loss to Nathaniel at B&F. It almost felt like there was renewed intensity for him as well. Good stuff with this promo, and I'm looking forward to seeing where it goes. Neo Carner Promo: This was a bad ass promo. The whole time while I was reading it, I completely heard Seth Rollins' voice cause of the way Neo was speaking. It seems we both had the same idea, possibly? Lol. So, when Nathaniel is 100% he's going after Nemesis, and when Neo is 100% he's going after Nathaniel. That should definitely be interesting to see. Lol. Catherine vs. Keith Williams vs. Stephen Eversol This match was definitely awesome to read and I liked the RP's that went up for it. I really like the angle going on between Kim and Eversol and then add that to the promo that Eversol cut earlier in the show and it definitely made for an interesting sort of turnaround for the character. I think all three characters had a lot of depth to them because they're all essentially coming off negatives going into this match. Catherine mentioned that Eversol came out of the match with Nathaniel with a "what if" scenario, but it seems based on the RP's they all had that. And it was awesome seeing that play out. Mercedes Video Package: Bleak had mentioned to me that he was going to be writing this, but didn't really give me any details on it. I think this was a great way to get more of Mercedes on the show and put over her title reign early on. I like the choice of the song that Bleak used for this as well. Cody McGinnis vs. Lucas Bergeron Bleak did a great job with this match. The writing of the match itself was awesome and the commentary was perfect. I liked how both Cody and Lucas seemed to be dramatically affected by their match at B&F and every movement they made was purposeful and there was no wasted motion cause they couldn't afford to expend the energy in doing so. Awesome stuff and the ending was great as well. Mad Dawg Promo: This was definitely an awesome promo. I was really surprised when, at first, Mad Dawg wasn't given his time to shine with the title, so I'm glad he gets that chance now after winning it at B&F. I liked the intensity and determination that Mad Dawg showed in this and I wouldn’t doubt he makes good on what he says and makes anyone vying for the title prove they deserve it. Lol. Darian Gray vs. Mungrel This match started out very easy to write (Mungrel and Darian are always easy to write) but then IRL stuff started getting in the way so that took up more time than I'd hoped it would and that's why the match ended up going up late. Hopefully Matt and Mun both liked what I did for this match. I tried to incorporate what Mungrel said in his promo about having fun in this match, if only in the commentary for it. Hopefully both characters were written well. Mercedes & Kellyn Face-off: I had a lot of fun with this segment. It was tough being that it was the first one for me with this character, and I still argue that I don't RP well with female characters, but Jim and Lita both convinced me to try it out and Bleak had a hand in that as well, albeit quite a while back. Lol. I hope everyone liked what Bleak and I did for this segment and one thing I want to make sure of is whether or not the Irish accent being phonetically spelled out is distracting or not, so please let me know. Since I'm still trying to find Kellyn's voice, any and all feedback is welcome. Helena Handbasket vs. Mercedes Blackwell I like the way Mercedes was basically forced to sort of change gears in her mind to go from defending Brittany and defending herself against Kellyn in a verbal confrontation, to defending herself physically with Helena. I fully expected Mercedes to take the win when she was about to hit Rack City until the Tea Party interfered. I think that was a good finish and made both Mercedes and all members of the Tea Party look good. Jimmy Steel Interview: This was an awesome promo for Jimmy from Marc. I like the way Jimmy is a total heel as far as his speech goes; turning everything against Toby essentially just for being a journalist and doing his job. Lol. He's definitely learning a thing or two from Nathaniel in that regard. ![]() Tͮ͐͘҉̧̮̙̪̝Ĩ̧̼̝̗̺ͫͣ̈́̔̕̕E̷̢͔͙̫̠̥̭̊ͣͮ̾ͧ͟R̠̫͚̪̙̖̉̔) © vs. Gus Richlen vs. Jimmy Steel vs. Oliver Brandon This match was a lot of fun to read given the drastic difference between Tier and…well, pretty much everybody else in the match in terms of size and power. Lol. The finish to it was awesome. I've seen that finish done before on TV and it sort of gave it that air of realism to see it done here. Really good stuff and I can't wait to see how the story progresses coming off this match. |

That's okay, I kinda figured that's how it would go. But...it was worth a shot for her. Right? I actually like the situation between Catherine and Kim for a number of reasons. 1) It means working with Lita. 2) It means working with Kim. 3) It still manages to keep Catherine busy while giving me time to focus on building the rest. So yeah, she doesn't need to be constantly booked to be doing things. So I like it. ![]()
First, glad you enjoyed it. With Honey's portion I was trying to go for that whole feel. It is a fun romance angle and hopefully it can blossom into something. Johnny did give her his hat after all, so who knows? In a few weeks...they might touch hands! *delighted squeal*
Always try and be these days. Honestly, I'm really liking this period of writing these past few weeks. I know productivity will go down a bit, as it usually does this time of year, but I'm still liking what's going on with my characters and their interactions. Just makes me wish I had the time/ideas to come back up with more segments. ![]()

I did try and have Catherine look at the match as an approachable possibility. Also I tried to give Terri a little something. But while I was alright with Catherine's loss, I did kinda feel somewhat stung by Terri's.
Of course she'll have to bring it in for weights for it to feel comfy.
I really enjoyed the Mercedes victory speech promo. Figured it would make sense for her to perform one.

This match was awesome and I like the way the pinfall victory came with Gunther sort of being thrown off balance. With the difference in size and strength between these two teams, the Sharks definitely had to work in some speed and high-flying offense to keep the bigger 4R on their toes. I think all of that played out perfectly.
