Shit, I had time to get off work and STILL nothin' from anyone else? Fine, I'll bite. I liked my matches. Sucks I ended up losing them both but, what're ya gonna do. I liked how things went down in them, though. Definitely story to build from, there, in both places. I liked what Lucas was singing in Pet's promo. The Hallowe'en thread was so amazing I don't think this show ever could've lived up to it. Thanks to everyone who participated. |

The party was pretty righteous. Had hoped to do a segment for the show, but I'd already pretty much hit everything I wanted to in the party. Did have one last thought, but I'm not sure if or how to pull the trigger on it. Is that opening going to be a recurring thing with different staff members each week? Matches were pretty snazzy. Glad to be back, |

Ah, Super Street Fighter 2 Turbo...back when people were saying "JUST GIVE US FUCKING STREET FIGHTER 3!" And then they did and people were "...put it back." So yeah, had fun with the segments this week. It was fun working with Jim since I think the last time we collaborated on something was the press conference over the O'Brien/Sadovsky match. So yeah, it's been a few weeks. Per usual I also enjoyed my working with Lita. Maybe now Catherine won't keep coming up with ideas to make Kim happy. Maybe. lolAs for the matches, it does kinda suck that Kyle couldn't get anything up. No offence to those in the match, but I was seriously at a loss on what to write...so I just took the easy route and attacked Neo. So happy seeing Catherine pick up the win there.I will make a point that was brought to me a few years ago and it coincides with the six-Hellcat match. Going into a title match and with other options available, it does kinda suck to have Helena take the fall from someone not even related to the feud. Also, I don't really know what to think of Pet coming off as a bit of a heel in the end there. Lastly, and I hate ending things on a sour note, so I'll just ask if I could get any judging notes from the Terri/Anastasia match. Either here or PM, if you please. ![]() Party on, Joe. ~eat snacky smores~ |

Welcome to my world. I love writing matches but rarely getting any feedback on them makes me not want to do it. Le sigh. TIER Intro Writer: YT This was pretty hilarious, I gotta admit. When I saw that Tier was opening the show, I was really curious what he was coming down to talk about. When I got to the punchline it was one of those "Oh, this makes perfect sense!" I'm surprised this didn't start sooner, honestly. But the first show after Halloween it a good place to do it. I loved how it was funny and scary at the same time. Unsanctioned Match Hardcore Match Basilisk vs. Cody McGinnis Writer: Bleaktastic I see Bleak's Slam! days all over this match. Lol. This was pretty awesome. It kind of reminded me of the old Attitude Era where we'd randomly get a Hardcore Match on Raw and they were allowed to actually be violent. Cody was freakin' vicious in this match and Basilisk is a pretty scary addition to the roster. I'm really enjoying the growing tag feud we have happening here OUT of the tag division. That's something you rarely see anymore these days in e-feds or real wrestling (maybe, I dunno, I don't watch real wrestling). Even though Doomed didn't get anything up, I kept reading this match thinking "Basilisk is definitely winning this" because he wouldn't stay down and looked like a beast. Nice to see a solid Cody victory, though. This match made him look absolutely incredible. Kim Coulter & Catherine Neville Segment Writers: Lita & Jo It's fun writing Kim as a heartless bitch, especially to Catherine. I get to use Kim to take out all my dislike on Steele Media characters. Haha. Hellcats Match Singles Match Anastasia Grimm vs. Terri Golde Writer: Lita I don't really have any feedback for you, Jo. I voted for Terri. No offense to Anastasia but I just found her to be the weaker of Jim's efforts this week. That wasn't say to say she was bad, just that Lucas pretty much overshadowed her this week (though that could be because I love Lucas). I was pretty fond of what we got from Terri. I tried to make Terri's loss come as a result of her own arrogance rather than a lack of skill. Singles Match Jimmy Steel vs. Nemesis Writer: Sid It was fun to see Kim's involvement in this. I'm really enjoying the whole Nemesis/Kim feud. I love how every week little things happen between them that builds anticipation for something bigger, but we just don't know what it will build to. The Kim and Jimmy interactions are pretty fun when we get them. I always feel like Kim is neglecting him, but then I worry that I'm going to bother Marc if I ask to do something with him. He seems so busy. Singles Match Jonny Hardkore vs. Stephen Eversol Writer: Nate A slight mix-up there as Jonny Hardkore actually lost to High Velocity last week. I went ahead and edited the commentary to reflect that. I forgot to mention that I wanted Kim at ringside with Eversol, but I guess now looking at this match it's OK as Kim wouldn't even think he'd need her for this one. Lol. God, I love Jonny Hardkore. This is some great non-wrestling wrestling that is generally missing in e-feds. It wasn't a surprise that Eversol won, but at least Hardkore's gimmick was played up big time. I could see fans loving him. Pet & Blink Segment Writer: Jo The coding in this was shot. Jo... *hangs head* Anyway, it's fun reading the interactions of Pet and Blink even if Blink is involved. Lol. Main Event Six-Person Tag Team Match Catherine & Mad Dawg & Mungrel vs. The Revenants & TIER Writer: Sid I was majorly disappointed that we didn't get anything from Keith this week because (I know no one knows this so I'll say it now) I love Keith Williams. So it was extra sad that Keith had to be the one to get pinned. Honestly, I asked for Catherine to be removed from the match for storyline reasons, but it conflicted too much with the Keith no-show making it basically impossible to give Revenants/TIER the victory and it wouldn't have done those three any favors if Mad Dawg & Mungrel won a two-on-three handicap match. Anyway. Good match all around despite everything it had working against it. I really hope this was just a hiccup week with Kyle being busy with everything he warned us about and Keith is back full force this week (since I need him majorly in our match!)Speaking of which, having the Sharks and Brittany on a team together with Keith Williams is going to be amazing! Here's hoping for a lot of fun this week! Hellcats Match Singles Match Kellyn vs. Sunshine Writer: Lita I hope Nate is cool with how this went down. I did my best to make Kellyn look bad ass without having the match over in two seconds. Honey & Samantha, Johnny Amazing Segment Writers: Jo & Lita This was a quick little fun segment. I'm really enjoying writing Johnny clueless on how to deal with a woman interested in him. Haha. Singles Match Gus Richlen vs. High Velocity Writer: Sid Great stuff from Velocity this week, just like last week. Richlen was on it, though. That FSC win really seems to have lit this character up. Brick Sharks & Scratch Segment Writers: Lita & YT Wight and I kind of set this in motion off the board last week and I pitched this idea kind of last minute. I'm enjoying developing the Sharks more here than I've ever been able to thus far. Tag Team Match Brittany & Roy Harlowe vs. 10/31 Writer: Lita I tried my best to write this match how Seph wanted and how Sid's notes suggested things go. I really was expecting a loss, to be honest. Just because 10/31 feels so solid when Wight RPs them. I even offered for Brittany to get pinned. I'm pretty thrilled that Roy and Brittany won the match. I think Roy has grown so much as a character in the past couple of months and I'm glad that's continuing for him. He's so good! Singles Match Caleb Claudel vs. Darian Gray Writer: Lita Darian Gray is just as fun to write in the ring as he is to read on the board. Happy to see Caleb was given the victory. I always worry that I'm not quite hitting the mark with the Sharks but I'm glad to see that I may be wrong about that. ![]() Pet & Lucas Bergeron Segment Writers: Jo & Jim Aw, Lucas. Love him too. Also, I already liked Pet but now I'm enjoying her so much more now that I get the type of character she's supposed to be.Main Event Six Hellcat Tag Team Match Avila & Mercedes Blackwell & Pet vs. The Tea Party Writer: Sid So psyched to see the Hellcats in the main-event this week. Mercedes winning the Hellcats title has been a tremendous boost to the Hellcats Division and I'm glad to see it continuing to be on the rise coming off that PPV main-event. I'm personally anticipating the Mercedes/Helena confrontation at ReVolt Against the Champions. They are two of my favorite characters in the Hellcat Division and I'm pumped to see Adam back with us and putting in all this effort with Helena. Mercedes looked like a beast in this thing! Sid did an awesome job of building up the anticipation even more for Helena vs. Mercedes with the way the two were written in this. The triple-teaming with the Tea Party is out of control in all the best ways, and I love seeing Mercedes get fired up over it. A little perplexed on why Avila pinned Helena out of all the options, though. Avila had some great stuff this week and probably deserved to make the pin but I'm not sure I agree with it over the #1 Contender to the Hellcats title. Ah well. I'm all for Terri Golde getting a huge show-closing moment, though. That was cool to see. |

Honestly, I PM'd Jo this morning just to say "I have no idea why I won this match." Regardless, the match was written very well and I thought Grimm was written accurately. Thanks for taking the match, Lita.I also read Cody/Basilisk. Brutal. Very violent. Bleaks been taking our matches lately and each time I wonder how Bleak is going to top himself next, but he always does. |

Lita raises a good point about lack of feedback, and I agree but at the same time I find myself guilty of it. So I asked myself "why?" Usually I read the show at work, on lunch or on my last break, on my phone. I'm literally just that excited to see how everything unfolds. Leaving feedback on my phone is hard because... well, it's a phone. Typing doesn't exactly happen with the most fluidity, and if I wait until I get home I've often lost train of what feedback I wanted to give, or what details to say about the matches. I'm not sure what to say about the matches in general. I'd say I typically read about 50-60% of the show. I usually catch all the promos and check the finishes of all the matches if I don't read them in their entirety. If something interesting happens/is referenced in the finish, I'll go back and take a look to see what went down. I will always read my matches as thoroughly as I'm able. Sometimes I just plain forget. I'm 99% sure I have ADHD so... that's basically my life. Like, I've wanted to talk about for WEEKS how much I love Suzanne Schwartz as a character, but I just keep forgetting. Another thing I like to avoid is backhanded compliments, because they don't do anybody any good. In the end, this fed is about having fun and doing what you wanna do with your characters. It confuses me and makes me feel shitty when someone tells me "I don't like your character" or "I don't get them" so I try not to do that for other people unless asked directly. I could say, for example (and I use this example because Joe already knows this about me) I really dig Honey Rydell, and that scares me because I'm pretty sure that means she's going to reveal herself to be Emily in a wig or she will become furniture in a few weeks. Not liking certain characters at a base level also makes it hard to comment on certain matches/promos without being really reductive of other people's work just because it's not MY thing. That's not fair to them, or the match writer. So I just keep my yap shut. Finally, I'm honestly often at a loss for what to say. My matches were good. The pacing was nice. Everybody did moves that made sense. Everybody's personalities were well-written, the commentary was solid, and the match had an understandable conclusion that I can use to further my stories. This is how I feel every week unless I have something above and beyond that to say. Like TIER/Richlen when Tier first revealed his new identity was an AMAZING match that was SO much fun to read, so I said as much. Or if I've had something negative or just critical to say, as happened in Deacon DEATH/Havok. I'll try to touch on a couple of the above points, but repeating the same thing week in week out starts to feel disingenuous, and I never want people to think I'm not reading what they wrote for me just because I don't have much to say. This isn't "Wight's list of excuses as to why he doesn't have to give detailed feedback"; if you have suggestions on how I can improve the way I deliver feedback, I'm open to hearing them. Also forgot to mention the show was up nice and early. I like that. Good job everyone involved. |

I feel the same as Wight. Not getting any feedback can be demoralizing especially when you literally receive nothing after a match you felt good about writing. But I've also been guilty of not leaving any feedback myself lately as well. My main issue is almost the same as Wight's; I've had limited access to a computer as of late so everything I read is mostly on my phone and leaving detailed feedback on a phone is just not possible. My suggestion would just to at least leave feedback for the matches your characters were involved in and anything else that stood out to you/was awesome. There are times when I'm leaving detailed feedback where I feel I'm being redundant. As for feedback myself, I had a ton of fun participating in the Halloween thread and just wish I had shown up a little earlier but the last two days that I participated were great for both of my characters. Now onto actual feedback... I really liked that Tier is pushing the fact that it's always fuckin' Halloweeen. Anytime we get segments from characters I like it. I'd actually encourage everyone to turn in segments from time to time. I love reading them. The Cody vs Basilisk match was incredibly fun to write. Lita is correct that it brought out the "Slam!" in me but it might also be the fact that I'm a sick individual and like writing hardcore spots :P. I was a little worried that I didn't write the Basilisk character as well as Jonny envisioned but after Jim told me he was repped by Luke Harper I just went with "big man" stuff in a hardcore environment. I love this feud which is why I keep taking the matches, especially cause I get to write some hardcore stuff so win/win for me. I loved the Catherine and Kim segment. Kim is so mean to her but god damn is it funny. She just finds new ways week after week to put her down and it's gold. I wonder when Catherine is finally going to lose it and just slap Kim. Nate did a great job writing the Eversol vs Hardkore match. He asked me if I had notes for him and the only thing I told was to make Hardkore look good despite the fact that he's a comedy act and Nate pulled it off really well. I also wanted Eversol to re-establish that he's a babyface by showing concern for Hardkore and shaking his hand after and Nate pulled it off flawlessly. Like everyone has stated, that Hardkore character is great and could be a better version of Mikey Whipwreck at some point. I'm also really loving what Nate is doing with Kellyn too. Lita did a great job at establishing her as a total badass in that match and having Brittany on commentary is an added bonus. The Pet segments were great and she's always hilarious to read. I love when Mercedes gets to interact with her. Fourth date coming up! Sid did an amazing job on the main event and it's really awesome to see different divisions closing the shows. I like that it alternates, especially with Nathaniel gone for the moment. It was a fun match to read and set more tension between Helena and Mercedes for their match at RATC. A couple little other things is I like that Lita brought The Brick Sharks to FIW. I'd been meaning to say that for weeks. I also like 10/31 as well. I tend to forget what I read at times as well. I do need to start voting again. The problem is that Sunday night is so exhausting after football all day, Walking Dead at night and then getting my son ready for school the next morning, making dinner and what have you that I just find myself struggling to get my votes in. But I do promise to start it up again. That's all for now, but I enjoyed the show and it's amazing that Sid and Lita are pretty much writing the entire show right now. They're both doing a great job and they're appreciated for their work. |

As far as Basilisk goes, Bleak, you did very well. ![]() I also must apologize to everyone for my string of inactivity lately. It's just that I've been doing various things, alongside work, and that just leaves me scattered-brained from time to time. I even thought I had posted the Basilisk bio until I got a PM from Bleak asking for it LOL. So again, I'm sorry if I let anyone down, but it's been fairly hard to strike a balance lately. |

Anyway, quick question to Lita on her feedback, I'll probably get more out later, what did you mean keeping Catherine out of the six person for storyline reasons? Yeah, the site hasn't been updated in ages. I stopped writing a while back. As for keeping Catherine out of the match, it would have been basic Kim actions. (1) She doesn't want Catherine in high profile matches and she certainly doesn't want Catherine winning high profile matches to elevate her status; and (2) messing with Mad Dawg and Mungrel by forcing them into a two-on-three match would just be the cherry on top. |

Oops. Double posting. I've always had trouble getting into Kamen Rider. However, Kamen Rider Wizard was all kinds of awesome. |

As far as feedback goes, I feel exactly the same way Wight does. I always try and give detailed feedback, but it's tough to find something different to say about everything when I genuinely like everything that's put out on the show. I honestly don't see any negatives, so pointing them out won't happen unless it's something glaring and distracting. But otherwise, I feel the same way in that I genuinely want to give detailed feedback, but I don't want it to come off disingenuous like I'm just spouting out things to say and I don't mean them. I can honestly say that's never the case. In the interest of giving feedback though, there will definitely be more to come, but I just wanted to give a couple quick thoughts, though. First off, Lita, you did a great job in portraying Kellyn the way I imagined she would or should be portrayed. And that's not only in her actions in the ring, but also in the way both Chip and Brittany sold it on commentary as well. Chip should find her physically attractive, but he should also be scared of her at the same time. So, he doesn't really know what to think of her cause it's all confusion. Lol. The aftermath with the brawl between Kellyn and Brittany was awesome as well. On the subject of Kellyn, I'd be interested to know what everyone thought of the RP I posted up for her, if anyone read it, that is. Between the first promo I did with her and that RP, I've been experimenting with ways to portray the Irish accent without just coming right out and saying in the narration that she's got the accent. The writing adage of "show don't tell" has stuck with me throughout the time I've been working on my first book (trying to tread the same waters Wight has :P) and I want to use it for Kellyn's promo work, too. I wanted to get an interview/promo into the show with Nathaniel to discuss/put over the upcoming match with Nemesis, but I ended up running out of time to do so 'cause it'd been a bit of a busy week leading up to the show. Writing the Jonny Hardkore vs. Stephen Eversol match was A LOT of fun. It had to look relatively even, but still have that comedic angle to it with Jonny Hardkore's gimmick in the mix. I'm glad people enjoyed that, and I'm glad Bleak liked what I did with Eversol. That was one of the many concerns I had going into writing the match; I wanted to make both characters look good, but keep in mind the gimmick Hardkore has also, so it had to dance that line. Glad to know it was well-received. As I said, I'll be posting more feedback over time. |

I just wanna say the Halloween Party was a blast to write. For some reason when I'm involved in those Group RPs something big happens, whether it be Neo turning Heel or Roy getting dumped, I'm glad I can help make these things must see promos. I had a blast working with Lita and Wight, tis a shame nobody jumped at Neo or Spencer but I guess I can't make everything interesting ![]() Show was intriguing, I really enjoyed my matches. Sid has a knack for creating drama inside the matches with his choice of words and I really dug Neo pushing and shoving Tier, it was great. Being chickenshit is always going to follow Neo I guess, comes with the territory of being heel I suppose. Lita wrote a wonderful match with Roy and I loved it. I loved the awkward tension and Roy being a ball hog. Winning was a huge surprise for me. I'm excited for this week's show. Feedback is always something I try to do, but with things being a little hectic for me right now, I got time for what you see, anything else is extra. |

Really enjoyed the show this week and some very fun segments. The Coulter and Catherine stuff is very intriguing, it's very weird seeing a submissive Catherine. The TIER 'year round Halloween' gimmick is a really original concept that I'm really digging. Enjoyed the interactions with Steel and Kim through the Nemesis match. But yeah Lita, you won't be bothering me if you need to put anything together with Steel and Coulter. I know I always seem to have a ton of shit going but I'll figure something out. Trios was a fun match and congrats to Jo with Catherine picking up the win. Definitely echoing Lita's sentiments that this was a one off with Keith cause I'm looking forward to that match. Sorry I didn't have my usual feedback but from now on I'll probably reserve to feedback about my matches and certain segments and angles that pop out to me and save my more detailed segment by segment feedback for PPV's and big shows. Mainly for the same reasons others have brought up but also just because I would spend so much time that I wouldn't get to actual writing until Saturday. But like I said for big shows I'll still do the big feedback for all of the segments. Allso sorry about last week...so much going on it honestly wasn't until Sunday before I actually got to start writing so my apologies for my lack of promos... |

Accents are tricky buggers. Kellyn was definitely and recognisably Irish, although possibly because of the colour, I was reading it in Big Finn's voice. 'Bog' is a decidedly masculine word to use. I sometimes say it, but I don't think I've ever heard a woman say it. If I'm being picky about slang, a 'dosser' is someone who doesn't have a job at all; although telling Mercedes not to be dossing would work. Finally, I personally go for superscript to take the symbols for the footnotes off the line of the text. As you can see, minor quibbles. It was good stuff. EDIT: Thinking about it, I guess the use of 'dosser' wasn't wrong for someone slacking off on the job, although I would have said that a true dosser is too lazy for a job. I may just have set a new gold standard for pickiness though. |

Nah, not picky at all; that's exactly what I was looking for. Thanks a lot, man. The slang was one of my biggest concerns along with getting the accent across. As for the superscript, I wanted to do that, but I just don't know how. Lol. |

Per usual I also enjoyed my working with Lita. Maybe now Catherine won't keep coming up with ideas to make Kim happy. Maybe. lol
So happy seeing Catherine pick up the win there.

I really hope this was just a hiccup week with Kyle being busy with everything he warned us about and Keith is back full force this week (since I need him majorly in our match!)
