Huh, not even Douglas Greater and The Brick Sharks can help me beat Wight. MADNESS I TELLS YOU. Ah well, I had a great time writing with The Brick Sharks and have a new appreciation for them. Perhaps I need to work on Spencer's character more, tweak it with the addition of DG and hope for the best.

The Dashiki match was humorous, I liked it.

I did not write my parts for the Best Hair Toss Contest, which is why I did the Puppet Segment where I spoke for Puppet Keith. Was a joke I tossed out to Kyle and he liked it, so I ran with the segment and made some jokes. I had a good ol' time doing it, hopefully it inspires Jim to bring back Saul E. Mander.

Main Event was a nail biting good read, Lita has such a good grasp on the characters involved and it really shines through with her writing. All the little nuances and character quirks are neat to see and I'm glad she includes them. Lita's the best.

All of my characters are booked this week. >__> I will not be bored at all I tell you what.

Thank you so much, Seph. I really appreciate that feedback on the main-event.

Honestly, I hated everything I wrote this week. I wasn't really feeling any of the matches on the card so I took the hair toss contest because I figured it'd be easiest to write. But then Dai took it from me. So I was left looking at the last three matches that nobody else took and I figured if I was going to write one I wasn't terribly feeling I might as well write all three!

It brings a smile to my face to see such glowing feedback from Seph on something that I really struggled to write and worried was going to bore a lot of people. :)

First, I want to apologize for the effort I put in last week. Aside from the Honey/Johnny produced RP I don't think I did much of anything worth note. Catherine's RP, although I think it got her point across, had its problems and the Terri RP was indeed just there to get Terri mentioned on the board for her match. So yeah, kind of a reason I'm sorta taking this week off.

That said I did enjoy what was done up. Catherine getting DQed for her rough tactics was entertaining and fit in with her feelings as of late. I like the dynamic of teamwork between Terri and Samantha while having the forced teamwork with Terri. It kinda gave me ideas there. :)

I know Catherine's promo isn't the best, but its message is something I thought should be passed along before the Cibernetico team selections were made. I really enjoyed writing the Pet segment and feel I have a handle of how she was a few months ago again. I've found two inspiration points for her so hopefully things can be kept together for her to be enjoyed again. :)

Party on,
Joe.

Follow Pet's Twitter if you don't mind...you know, Pet being Pet. Also, she tends to mention it a fair bit. (NSFW)

I'm a little surprised 10/31 pulled that out. Maybe the judges thought my promo work or Boy's was particularly inspired. I dunno. I liked what the other team had, though. Thought it was really funny and clever. Maybe it's a case of me being hard on my own work.

Matches were brutal as. Good work. I like the Sharks kicking 10/31s asses. This feud has had a fair amount of back and forth with who gets 'one up' over who and I like that. I don't think either team has looked weak or foolish and that's hard to pull off sometimes, especially given the nature of the arrangement. I expect we'll be seeing a blowoff soon?

Not surprised Eversol won. Couldn't have lost to a nicer guy. I also like the WAY he won. I dunno, it speaks to the clever, scrappiness of the character.

Scratch is on her way out and this makes me a little sad, but at the same time she just wasn't working quite how I thought she would. I thought the concept was cool enough but the execution was hard to keep up with and she really needed people to lean on to do much of anything. I have some plans to shake things up and should be getting on those in the next few days.

I thought this card was inspired, really funny and original stuff. also offensive as hell, but that's the point, right? I read all the promos and I liked them. Good job, all!

Meant to do more in terms of promos and FIW stuff in general this week, but it just didn't happen. Between drama and personal stuff I just wasn't here, mentally speaking. Thanks to everyone who put up with me. I'm feeling much better so I should be much more involved this week.

Ah, what I can say? It's great to create your own card for an episode of ReVolt!

This was a real joy to work on and come up with zany ideas for all involved. Wight was right on target with the mention of intentional offensiveness, yet at the same time acceptance of all holidays. I really liked everything that was contributed this week and felt everyone did a great job despite the oddness of things. I even enjoyed adding a portion to the hair toss contest.

I only echo the comments made by Seph about Lita's hardwork and quality of output. The main-event was great, I even had doubts about our team winning when I talked to Seph. If it had gone the other way with one of us taking the loss it wouldn't have mattered. Everyone "got their shit in" and looked good. I liked the interaction between Keith and Gus, someone I haven't worked with and would like to in the future. Which this perfectly sets up for. It's been fun so far to work this Revenants gimmick and it only continues to get more fun. I'm looking forward to Deadlock and the next Champion's Way Cibernetico. I'm an outspoken fan of Cibernetico matches when done right, and I believe with this number of people it will be an entertaining read and an entertaining match for the writer to write.

Woo, glad to finally write a match again, even if Kyle and Wight added the cherry and the icing to my very silly cake.

Don't know why Lita's beating herself up about her matches, they were all pretty tasty, and a lot more nutritious than mine if we continue the stupid food metaphor.

I gotta try and do full feedback for my favorite character's personal version of ReVolt. I love you Keith Williams. (Hey, I gotta fit that into EVERY feedback thread somehow!)

Neo Carner's Puppet Theatre: Seph
Masterful! This was a great way to start SleazeVolt and I could totally see this all playing out in my head. Even puppet Keith is adorable.

Demolition CMG vs. The Truth: Bleak
I loved the Lucas/Cody entrance so much. The way Lucas is written when he talks is just so unique and I can't even really explain why. It just feels so natural, off-the-cuff, and unscripted. I adore him. There were moments in the actual match with Lucas where it felt like Jim was writing him, so I can see why Jim loves having Bleak write for this feud. He's got a good grasp on the Lucas character. It's always good when you can really tell the match writer is following the characters they're writing for.

Cody McGinnis Interview: ...T?
Now that I had a chance to read this, I think I know what's going.

Fluorescent Fiesta Match: Lita
I did my best with it, but I just don't know. I'm not comfortable writing Kursur and I know very little about Spencer Chamberlain.

Don't Takey My Dashiki Match: Nate
This was an interesting take on the Bra & Panties Match but for the guys. I like the idea and the name is funny to say. Kind of surprised to see Mungrel win. As much as I love Mungrel and as good as Mun's RP was, I really felt Darian's was just a tad stronger personally.

Best Hair Toss Contest: Dai, Kyle & Wight
I'm glad Dai took this from me. I never would have been able to write anything even halfway as good as this. Great stuff and I loved the ReVenants being involved in this. Also happy to see Keith get the victory. The more he wins, the better it is for everyone (and by everyone I mean Keith Williams).

Brittany & Pet Segment: Lita & Jo
Yes. I wanted to do a Bikini Contest. I can't help it. I watched wrestling during the Torrie Wilson era and I actually LIKE when T&A stuff is used from time to time. I actually preferred Trish Stratus when she was balancing T&A with being a wrestler. There is nothing wrong with a woman who can look hot in a bikini and kick ass in the ring. Haha. Glad Jo was on board for this.

Spin a Dreidel Match: Lita
This was really difficult to write. I'm glad Jo didn't seem to have any complaints with it. Disappointed that Adam hasn't been seen for a bit. I really like Helena and the Tea Party. I wish they could be a more dominating force in the Hellcat Division.

Scratchy Sharks: Wight & Lita
Sucks that Scratch is going, but I get why Wight is dropping her. Still, I enjoyed Caleb making Wight feel guilty about it.

Scalp an Indigenous Person Match: Sid
Happy to see Eversol get a win. Sad it was at the expense of TIER but I really don't think it hurts TIER any in the long run. Eversol really needed this win and Bleak really fought for it so I'm happy for him. Wight is right that it was a good way to have Eversol win too.

Free Stache Rules Match: Lita
I had more fun writing this match than anything I took this week but I worried big time because of how many people and how many stories were involved in this. I hope everyone else is happy with what I was able to do with their characters. I really tried to make Mad Dawg look like a beast but have the numbers of the ReVenants screw him over. I tried to make Steel look like a sneaky, slimy little weasel. With Richlen I did my best to have him removed from the antics of Kellyn and Steel on his team and focus on trying to win a fair fight while in the ring. The whole Johnny/Richlen situation came out much better than I thought it would, honestly, and I like the story it instantly sets up for Deadlock. Writing for the ReVenants in this was so much fun and I'm glad Seph and Kyle were happy with what I did with them. I was worried that they were written a bit too cowardly in the face of Mad Dawg.

Lita, I cannot for the life of me figure out why you aren't comfortable writing Kursur. That match was super fun, felt really even and appropriately back and forth, at least to me. I love the way you wrote Kursur, he showed kind of a brutal mean streak that gives me loads to work with character wise.

First, mixed feelings on the loss. Don't really like losing but it gives me some future options.

Second, fuck Black Friday.

Third, I really should not try to do multi-poster promos on my work weekends. I always close on those nights, and on Sunday that means I miss deadline.

Fourth, fuck Black Friday.

Fifth, trying to be harsher in my promos tends to be hit and miss. Gotta see how this next couple of rounds turns out for me.

Sixth, there is no thing six.

And seventh, FUCK BLACK FRIDAY!
