you did a damn sight better than I ever have when I've tried to write matches man. Don't sell yourself short. feedback: Sorry if I don't get to everything, but I'm at work and some stuff stuck out in my head. I love the Brick Sharks segments, they were really amusing and a great way to pace out the show My match was delightful, and the bit with the failing light trick worked perfectly. Same with the second bit in the Intergender Tag Team match, thanks guys! I really loved the Hellcats Championship match, that right there is a great example of classic face/heel booking done right. |

I sent in a segment that didn't get posted, but I admit I sent it in kinda late. It's been an... exciting... past couple days, so I sorta lost track. Edit: it got added. Yay! |

Show Opening Segment: Nate, Lita & Mun I had a lot of fun with this segment and appreciate Nate and Mun willing to work with me on it. I knew from the beginning that I wanted to take Kellyn and Brittany to an I Quit Match because I feel this is a huge turning point for the character of Brittany. For so long she's just been Johnny's kid sister, or Sakura friend, or Mercedes' friend. She's competed in matches, she's had feuds, but a lot of people had a hold up with her on why is she here? I wanted to show that she's a fighter and someone whose eyes are on the Hellcats Championship with aspirations to get it. I hope that was conveyed well in this segment. Having Mungrel come down to bail Brittany was awesome for me. I always loved in pro wrestling when the top champion in the company interacts with those that you wouldn't usually see him involved with. Even though Nathaniel was down there, having Mungrel come down during a segment with Brittany and Kellyn was so much fun to have happening. I felt the three of us did a good job of putting over the Dual Crown title match for Deadlock while also hyping Brittany vs. Kellyn. Kursur vs. Prince Tona: Wighty The commentary in this pure gold! I really loved the way Jonathan and Chip engaged one another in this and the jokes about Tonga were flowing like wine... does wine really flow? I'm not surprised that the match was actually written well. Wight used to write a lot back in the NGIW days so it's good to see he hasn't lost his touch. There was enough action to make both men look good but it wasn't over-saturated with trying to fit all their moves in. Congrats to the Boy! He and I had a pretty decent-sized discussion about my feelings towards Kursur and he continues to show me why he's the best jerk that's ever graced an e-fed. I love to hate you, Kursur. I love it so good! Brick Sharks Promos: Lita I give Wight the credit for this initial idea. I wanted to play these two so badly even though they weren't booked. Wight suggested 10/31 sending them a voucher to a restaurant with that exact note attached. It turned out to inspire me greatly and I had SO MUCH fun writing these segments with these two. I'm loving to write Harley more and more every time I explore his ridiculous behavior. Someone please let me know if he gets too ridiculous. Caleb is my good guy. He's the gentleman and I love writing him with his quiet coolness about him. At least, I hope he's cool. Cage Murdock vs. Katsu Shun: Lita I took this match for my boy Seph and it turned out to be more fun to write than I thought it would be. I'm becoming more of a Cage fan as the weeks go by and he's a beast to write in the ring. I hope T is happy with how I wrote Katsu. I hope Boy is OK with what I included from Kursur. I hope I did the match justice for Sid on last minute. P.S., Murder Rack has to be a contender for Finisher of the Year. Mungrel & Brittany Segment: Mun & Lita Again, so thrilled that Mun was really to write with me this week. And we wrote SO MUCH together. I enjoyed every minute of it. Mun is one of my all-time favorite people even though we hardly ever talk. This gentleman is how you achieve being a class act. Him or Dai. Ask them if you want tips on how to be awesome in an e-fed. I was honored to have my Hellcat work with the Dual Crown Champion so much this week. Keith Williams vs. Mark Cannon: Lita Apologies for this match. I still had it left to write when shit really hit the fan with the fed. So my inspiration was terribly wrecked. I tried to cobble it together and make Keith look like a technical beast and make Mark look like a tough SOB. The finish was given to me to do and I agree 100% with it for telling a fantastic story and making Keith Williams look like the genius that he is. Brittany & Mungrel vs. Kellyn & Nathaniel Alexander vs. Rurik Krychek & Terri Golde: Lita I don't remember much of this match. It was the first one I wrote and then I wrote the other three. So, memory is kind of fuzzy. I remember that I liked a lot of what I wrote for Mungrel and I feel like I did a lot of men vs. women spots that were really fun. I tried to give the girls some spotlight without suspending disbelief with the men they were opposed against. Regardless of men/women debate, the bottom line is that the three men in this match are vying for the top prize in the company. They deserved to look awesome and I hope I achieved that either through their intelligence (in Rurik's case), their viciousness (in Nathaniel's case), or their sense of hilarity (in Mungrel's case). Pet & Katalina Segment: Jo I actually enjoyed this. There were spots that made me smile because I thought they were funny. Good stuff. Jonny Hardkore vs Nick Riot: Jo? I really enjoyed this match. Mercifully short and Jonny Hardkore still got to be hilarious and awesome even in defeat. I'm ready to see more from Nick Riot and hopefully he can do just that at Deadlock. The character has potential, that's for sure. Kim Coulter & Catherine Neville Segment: Lita & Jo I'm really enjoying RPing a different side to Kim and glad that Jo gave me that opportunity to show it a bit in this. It'll be fun to see where things go. Butch Babineaux & Jimmy Steel Segment: Jimmy & Marc I love stuff like this in pro wrestling! It gets me nostalgic for old Undertaker stuff that I never appreciated for its time. This segment was fantastic in building the Rougarou match at Deadlock and especially in putting Jimmy Steel over. Steel was amazing in this segment. Bisenshi Sakura & High Velocity vs. Helena Handbasket & Jimmy Steel: Lita I think I may have short-changed Velocity some in this match and I do apologize for that. There were instructions I had for Sakura but I wasn't sure how obvious the stuff was supposed to be. Hopefully I didn't screw anything up there. It's great to see Helena back, I love that character. I'm enjoying working more with Marc in the Steel/Kim partnership. Here's hoping things are going up for all four of these characters. Stephen Eversol Segment: Bleak Great stuff from Eversol to keep him on the show and build towards his title match. I'm looking forward to Mad Dawg vs. Eversol. Preview of Deadlock Match: Gus There was absolutely nothing wrong with this match! It was action nonstop and considering everything it was previewing, it should have been nothing less! Bummed that our team lost, but I knew it was coming. Marc has been really bringing out his A-game lately, Gus is picking up his stride, and Catherine has been restrained far too long. It was a perfect storm that rolled through and someone's always gotta lose. This gives a lot for everybody heading into the PPV, though. So I look forward to what transpires out of this. Honey & Samantha Segment: Jo That Honey is kind of obsessed, is she not? ![]() Mercedes Blackwell vs. Avila: Sid This is exactly what I needed to see from Avila! She takes off the mask (figuratively) and reveals herself as the actual villain that she is. Worse yet, she threatened to turn Mercedes into a villain at the same time. I feel stupid for hating on Avila for having no story when the entire time the story was that I wasn't supposed to know the story until now. This gives Mercedes so damn much to work with moving forward and to evolve her character in a fun and exciting way. Chip's constant remarks about her being a fraud are fantastic for story-building considering everything that Mercedes has been built on up to this point. Great storytelling, Sid, and I know there were unavoidable issues all along so I appreciate you doing what you could to make it work out in the end and set the stage for an interesting Hellcats title picture. Damn there were a lot of segments on the show. And I appreciate Wight, Gus, and Jo stepping up to help write matches for the show this week. I would have taken them all just so Sid wouldn't have to (and I know he would have done it too because he's a psycho like that [to paraphrase Wighty]) but I'm so glad I didn't have to. Thank you, guys! |

I liked my match. It definitely showed a side of Keith I don't think has been explored in matches so far. This paired with how he's been written so far would turn out nicely. I have to admit to being a bit confused about the DQ finish. It seemed with Mark missing the deadline and giving a solid outing this week I'd get a clean finish. Other than that I can't think of anything to say. Deadlock cometh! |

BOOOO! LIES! Seriously, your match was just fine and I really enjoyed it. Had me on the edge of my seat wondering how it was going to end and thought Johnny ended it for sure. Also pretty cool seeing the Last Dance With Mary Jane getting used, I feel like that's been a rarely used move so thought it was awesome to see it come in. The mixed tag was a really fun read too and another one I wasn't sure how it was going to go down. Liked how it ended with Helena providing the distraction and everything. I was honestly surprised that both of my characters actually scored the falls as well. I feel like it's the first time in a while I've been able to go into a big show with this kind of momentum so crossing my fingers I can keep it rolling. The Eversol promo brought a smile to my face. I almost feel bad that the Cibernetico kind of took Mad Dawg's focus off his pending UIC defense. But after that promo, yeah it is definitely on like Konkey Dong. Speaking of Cibernetico, real fun with the selection process as well. Really enjoyed getting to be a part of that whole thing and looking forward to how that whole thing is turn out. MacWhopperitis Sufferers Unite! EDIT: Didn't remember until I read Lita's post. Fucking loved the Avila reveal. Very well thought out with a ton of moving pieces that worked. It's a shame these type of incredible angles are never thought of by the writers with six figure salaries.... |

Regarding Brittany being second fiddle to everyone: I never got that sense when we were doing the stuff with Sakura and Brittany. Brittany has always had so much more going on than Sakura that at times, it felt the other way round. This is just an observation and shouldn't take away from the quite excellent story-arc she has going on. Regarding the Brick Sharks: straight men (ie. Caleb) always work better with a foil (ie. Harley) of some sort. When I first returned, I sorta had them written off - although that's not quite what I mean - as Johnny Amazing lite, possibly because I was still getting caught up with everything. Anyhow, these last few weeks have been awesome, although I still think that the one in the 4 on 4 last week needed to die for Harley's sins. CURSE THOSE BEAKY MEANACES! High Velocity did a good job in a short paragraph at the end sliding along the slippery slope of casual sexism and stopping at "harmless, handsy guy at the pub" without going into Keith Williams territory. Wish we could have done something with Sakura's facial expression as it appeared in my head as I read it. More musings to follow when I cast a more critical eye over the show. |

I've never found myself asking why Brittany's here. I like her and she's done a fair number of changes to outside roster members. The biggest one for me was, obviously, Catherine disbanding the Bad Girls. I don't know of anyone else she would've trusted enough to go and make a decision like that. That and she's given Terri something to do, a background feud that could be visited at any time. Also, Pet has certainly taken an interest in her. So I've never had any misgivings about her as a character. ![]() I'm glad what I produced as far as results and segments were thus far enjoyed. The match went kinda quickly for me based on how easy it was to write and knowing I don't wanna fall behind on other projects. Someone say Holiday Extravaganza? Segments were kinda quickly written too. Not that I find them bad, just I kept wanting to end the Kat/Pet one with some humour. Mostly because it was Pet but liked what I had for it. I don't think Honey's obsessing I think she just wants to jump several stages in the relationship ladder and pull Johnny up along with her. I dd enjoy working on the Kim/Catherine bit, even though Kim's reaction kind of surprised me. But it's good, I like it.I enjoyed the matches too. It was nice seeing the Hellcats have their moment and Mungrel being Mungrel. I often wonder what a disabled elevator scene with Pet, Mungrel, and Keith would produce. Catherine kinda got a little beat up in her own match but it's fine with where her head is at the moment. ![]() Party on, Joe. ~eat snacky smores~ |

Oh, I didn't mean that Brittany was playing second fiddle to those people at all. The feedback I received on Brittany was that she was progressing well, but eventually people would like to see a reason why she's here; and they're right. Brittany really hasn't been aggressive towards any real goals here in FIW and has just been floating from feud to feud with storylines on the side. It's fun and I'm still having a good time RPing her, but she really has just been more of a prop for others. Which has pretty much been the intention for a long time.
Also! Thanks for the feedback on the Brick Sharks, Dai! I'm really having a good time with them and I appreciate any and all feedback I get on them. I did suggest that Caleb suffer if the team was supposed to lose, but the match was about more than the insular storyline the Sharks were doing (that somewhat pulled Cage into it). |

I'm on my phone so I'll be brief. I really enjoyed the show this week. I like shows when there's a lot of segments. They allow the characters to grow and allow for feuds to become more intense. The matches were really entertaining too and really build things up nicely heading into Deadlock. I loved the little twist that Sid wrote for Avila and the new direction I can take Mercedes in. Now she can be trying to prove herself all over again. I wasn't too sure what would happen especially since I was not too thrilled with my RPs last week. Looking forward to Terri vs Mercedes for Deadlock. |

Read through the show and I gotta say the Avila reveal was nicely done piece of business. It felt like Unbreakable's Mr. Glass and it's an awesome thing to see. Calculating, cold and precise, it was very well written and I liked it a lot. I want to personally thank Lita for taking my match and making Cage look like a beast in the process. It was awesome, and very well put together. Lita is great at writing matches, making graphics and being an all around awesome person. Yay Lita! Big thanks to all those who stepped up and helped bring this show together, we did it another week! Go us! ^_^ |

I was really hoping to see more feedback posted this week. A lot of new writers stepped up to help us out and I personally put a lot of work into this week's show. I am extremely grateful for those that took their time to at least feedback something. But I still a little disappointed with the turn out of this thread. |

EDIT: Like I had mentioned, here's my new post with full feedback on everything. Loved the entire show and I think it was the perfect way to set things up for Deadlock. Can't wait for that one! Show Opening Segment: This segment was a lot of fun to write with Lita and Mun. Lita came to me with the idea to have a segment between Brittany and Kellyn initially, and then when the DC title match for Deadlock got added to the card, it became a four-way segment. I like the way it turned out with Mungrel making the save for Brittany. I agree with Lita that it felt a lot like a WWE style segment where the babyface makes the save for another babyface and clears the ring out. Kursur vs. Prince Tona: This was a short match, but I think it's fitting for an opening match. I definitely liked what was there. The heel tactics from Kursur were a nice touch with him using the cloak to distract the referee. It kinda puts a different spin on that ploy. Good stuff. Brick Sharks Promos: Ha, "Beau Vine's Steakhouse." I see what you did there. I really liked this promo from Lita for the Sharks. That last line was a clever one, I agree. This reminded me of an idea that Bleak and I had come up with for Alexander and Eversol where Eversol would unknowingly pay for free food and drinks at this crazy expensive restaurant all in the name of the two of them "playing nice." I can't remember if we went through with it or not. I think this was a better way of getting it done, though. The last promo really showed how drastically out of their element the Sharks were being in that steakhouse. Or maybe they're not so much out of their element and just saw it as a way to go all out. Either way, these promos were really good. Lol.Cage Murdock vs. Katsu Shun: 'Nother nice, short one with this match. I honestly can't remember the RP's for this match, otherwise I would comment on them, but I definitely enjoyed the match, though. The ending sequence with the constant reversals before Cage hit the Murder Rack was awesome and easy to picture. I think the way it was written also helped make it a lot easier to read as well. It gave it a quicker sort of pace, but that's not a bad thing. Mungrel & Brittany Segment: "Steel crushing, wall running, cage jumping goodness" is right. That match at Deadlock should definitely be a good one. I liked this segment from Mun and Lita to continue where the opening segment left off. Keith Williams vs. Mark Cannon: Like I had said before, I'm glad Dan decided to come back with Mark Cannon because he's one of the people I wanted to work with before he left. Hopefully sometime soon we'll get that opportunity. Brittany & Mungrel vs. Kellyn & Nathaniel Alexander vs. Rurik Krychek & Terri Golde: This match was awesome and Nathaniel was portrayed perfectly in it. I didn't really like the RP's that I came up with for it, but after this loss and after the loss of the titles to Mungrel and Krychek coming back, I have a lot of stuff for Alexander now. “Any time you take away a King’s crown, you’re going to find out just how desperate and ruthless the man behind the crown can really be!” That line from Chip Martin pretty much says it all. I'm definitely going to try and show that. Pet & Katalina Segment: So, I may or may not be the only one late to the game on this, but I had no idea Anya and Pet were the same person *shifty eyes* Lol. That's not a knock on Jo in the slightest, I just never noticed it. This segment was a cool way for me to find that out, though. The whole thing is a good example of how people in general don't like when their insecurities or eccentricities are revealed to other people. Stigma's a bitch. Lol. Jonny Hardkore vs Nick Riot: Chip's commentary for this match was funny. Overall this was a short, but fun read and I think Chip hit the nail on the head when he said the Ace Crusher at the end of the match was completely unnecessary. Lol. Kim Coulter & Catherine Neville Segment: You could definitely feel the awkward uncomfortable feeling from Catherine with this segment. Lol. I like how, despite what may have happened with Nemesis, we still see the heel side that we've come to know and love to hate from Kim Coulter. Butch Babineaux & Jimmy Steel Segment: "overgrown red-bearded gorilla with Down Syndrome" made me laugh probably a lot more than it really should have. Lol. This was a really cool segment to set up the Forsaken match at Deadlock. I'm really liking all the segments that are being used to make things heat up for the upcoming PPV. It definitely gives everything a bigger feel and this is no exception. Bisenshi Sakura & High Velocity vs. Helena Handbasket & Jimmy Steel: Like I had said in the previous version of this post; I don't think Velocity was short-changed at all in this match. Personally, I felt everybody got a good amount of time in it and the match itself turned out awesome. Stephen Eversol Segment: Awesome segment from Bleak for Eversol. I'm wondering if his mentioning that he's not worrying about Kim or Nathaniel right now is a ploy to make people think he really isn't, or if he legitimately isn't worrying about them anymore. It definitely shows a more focused Eversol, and it's bringing out his angrier, more vicious side at least with this segment. Good stuff. Preview of Deadlock Match: Regular tag team matches are hard to write as it is, I can't imagine how hard it'll be to write the Cibernetico for Deadlock and then there's also this match as well. Great stuff with this match and I like how everyone was given equal time to showcase the characters. Overall, I think this match set things up really nicely for the upcoming matches at Deadlock. Honey & Samantha Segment: I like the way this story with Honey crushing on Jonny has progressed and with New Years coming up IRL, it's a perfect fit for the way it's been going so far. It'll be interesting to see how Johnny reacts if Honey is able to follow through with her plan the way she wants to. Mercedes Blackwell vs. Avila: "Avila played quite possibly the most crushing mind game imaginable with Mercedes" That pretty much says it all. The twist at the beginning of this match was absolutely awesome and the way the entire match played out as a whole was great as well. Having Mercedes still come out on top despite the serious mind games going on was really cool to see, and I think it paints her as a major force. I think it'll be awesome to see where this whole story goes. |

Many of us have had a hell of a week. I really enjoyed everything I read, but it was days ago and under stress so I don't have a great deal to say. I'm sorry. ![]() Hopefully the character feedback following the pay-per-view will make up for it. |

If you still have that promo, go ahead and post it on the .com forum. That's kind of like our 'deleted scenes & bonus features' board anyway. |

I really liked this promo from Lita for the Sharks. That last line was a clever one, I agree.
