So I've been listening to interviews, shoots and podcasts and I'm always fascinated to hear when they talk about working with other people. I'm always interested in hearing opinions of what kind of worker other wrestlers are. And I'm sure everybody likes hearing about themselves :P

So I got to thinking...What do you think of your peers? I mean, working a match here in FIW is basically the promo war. What thoughts cross your mind when you come to an opponent. I'll list a few, get the ball rolling. For those I haven't had much interaction or previous experience with, I always feel ecstatic that I get to work with someone new, see what their style is like and see how I blend with 'em.

As for the select few...

Jim-If there ever was a guy who could make your feud, match or interview feel legit, it's Jim. He injects so much life into his characters it's insane. I always enjoy working with Jim, whether it be a Twitter spat, a segment for the show, or like that barn burner we put on for this week's show. Jim's a real easy guy to work with, always open to ideas and always very giving and getting to work with him is always a blast. PRAISE ON TO JIM!

Lita- One of the best story tellers FIW has with a real knack for fleshing out her own characters and one of the best people to help develop characters with. She has helped countless of my characters look better than they actually are. Lita is a real MVP and I'm always intrigued to work with her. I won't lie though, being insulted by Lita's characters hurts. Because Lita is such a cool person when you have to read her thrashing your character you can't help but feel like a sad puppy who's done something wrong. xD

Wight- Ah. The white whale. Wight and I have torn it up a few times, hell things have gotten real heated too. I'm glad things are more chill and relaxed between us, I much prefer a tension free environment. Wight is a damn verbal juggernaut and he can bring the fight with the best of them. I've tried so many different approaches when facing Wight, and every time he has a triumphant response, he's a chameleon, he's capable of adapting in an instant. It's no wonder why he's got so many fans, and why he's run successful feds, guy is just flat out a damn good writer. Working with him in GAG has been a barrel of bananas.

Marc- Fucking Marc. God damn Marc. Dude is a spectacle. Carried FIW for years as a damn good fed head, writing whole shows, keeping the place afloat. As an opponent, Marc can make ya damn nervous. He's capable of coming up with so many great responses and counter arguments, he can make look down right foolish. I think he is a very underrated comedian, because Mad Dawg is responsible for some of the funniest shit I've seen on FIW. His promo with Keith where he appeared as a reporter and a little kid with a freakin' loli pop was a gutbuster. Honestly feel like he showed us all why he's DC this week in the Confrontation promo.

It's 1:30 in the morning x.x if the topic picks up steam I'll post more.

This thread kicks ass! I love opportunities to heap praise upon people without looking like I'm randomly kissing their ass. I can only really provide feedback for poeople who I'm very familiar with. I think in the last two years I've somehow managed to work within a small group of opponents. Funny how things work out. If I use a board name instead of a real name it's because I'm ignorant. But I feel bad for being ignorant. I'm Canadian. It's what we do.

Lita: Ladies first. Lita is my darling and muse. She helps me in more ways than she's probably aware, and I always get this funny ego boost when she thinks my characters are cool. I'll echo Seph's sentiments in saying that a dis from one of Lita's characters is the deepest kind of cuts. She really knows how to put someone in their place, and it's an ability I wish I could master like she has. Not to make Lita sound like she's cruel, because she isn't. She's a fantastic mentor, a wonderful friend, and a beautiful human being. Plus, from what I remember she's super hot!

Wight: I said it once and I'll say it again, man I love being a turtle Wight is my hero. If I could make t-shirts I'd have one that says, "I'm an Eric Chucci Guy". Seeing "Minister Wighty likes this" beneath one of my role plays is more validating than winning my matches. Just saying.

Jim: Jim is the fucking man. 'nuff said.

Will: Will tends to run hot or cold, but when he's hot he's on fire. You can't touch Will when he makes the trip to promoland. Working with Will in NGIW made me a better role player because he pushed me to new levels. Bloodbath/Finn, Bloodbath/Holland, and Bloodbath/Nightmare are all highlight fueds that I loved working on. I feel like we'd be real pals if we actually hung out.

Jo-Jo: How can I talk about my favorite people and not mention my own dear brother? Joe marches to the beat of his own drummer and I admire that. I can't say that everything he's ever written has been my favorite, but it's his work and Joe stands behind it with confidence. I love how excited he gets when we get a chance to work together. For years we've been wanting to put together a tag team that just never seemed to happen. Hopefully, when Joe comes back, we'll do just that!

Knight: Super cooperative guy. I'm really enjoying this side story we're developing right before your eyes. High five, bro.

Seph: I don't think we've ever worked on anything together save scattered random matches. I'm really looking forward to an opportunity to mix it up with you. I couldn't begin to describe how much respect I have for you.

Dai: A Diasuke role play really pumps my nads. What's it with me and John Bender quotes?! Never has anyone been more helpful and at the same time completely honest with me. If he thinks something sucks he says so. Dai speaks his mind and doesn't sugar coat it and I appreciate that. I always enjoy the random hearts he sends me after he enjoys a role play I wrote. Plus, I caught a promo he cut on Facebook and the guy is a legit bad ass!

Sorry to those I didn't mention. Like I said, it's not because I don't like you. It's mostly because I don't really know you. I'm not in the habit of sucking up to strangers... so I dunno... maybe say hello? That all being said, this is a wonderful community. I've never seen a forum that is a close-knit as this one is. No matter where our little gypsy troupe travels, where we rest always feels like a home away from home.

This is fun! I love putting you guys over.

Triad: One of my favorite opponents like EVER. I always say "Awesome! I can't wait for this" when I get matched up against him. Bloodbath/Holland was an incredibly entertaining and exciting feud. I feel like we would get along great if we ever met up. Triad has always been very receptive and willing to work with me on stuff.

Lita: Her and I feuding at the end of Nightmare's career MADE him a Hall of Famer I feel. That one was one I will cherish for a very long time and something I will hold as one of my favorite moments. We don't often cross paths but we seem to turn out a classic whenever we do. And yes, I love when one of her characters rips you.

Jim: BOOK ME AGAINST JIM PLS. WE WILL MAKE ALL THE INVISIBLE E-FED MONEY. I love Jim dearly and he has always provided great feedback on my roleplays. I promise you we'd turn out a match of the year candidate.

Knight: One of my favorite tag team partners ever and I've had many. Plus you got to do a Dog Collar match with me which I have always wanted to do in every fed I've been in. And it was fun.

Wight: It's funny, Wight and I didn't really like each other at first. He found me annoying, I found him self-absorbed. But once I grew up and quit being really shit at this, I grew to really respect Wight for his tips and creativity. And now we is besto friends. Plus we have had some awesome feuds in nearly EVERY fed we have worked in together. Giggles/Priest is criminally underrated.

Dai: One of my proudest moments was beating him for the NGIW title because I honestly believed Dai was the guy I just couldn't figure out how to beat no matter what I did. Never mind the fact I've never beat him since.

I actually used to wrestle about a decade ago, before my health issues took over. I still see guys I used to work with at local shows on occasion, and it's always entertaining. My girlfriend has heard things like "Me and this guy used to beat the shit out of each other!" right after a hug on more than one occasion.

When I first created Knight in another fed, that place had a "one RP per week" limit. I honestly cannot imagine working in an environment like that again. This place has spoiled me, I suppose. The environment of FIW encourages cooperation and interaction. I told Will back in the Knight/Holland feud that the back and forth did wonders for me creatively. The same can be said now for Adam and Lita, both of whom have certainly inspired me with direction for Tyler since his debut.

Wait, this isn't a thread to complain about people we have to deal with at work?

Now how am I supposed to vent my anger at NON-MANAGERS thinking they can force me to stay way past the end of my shift just because they feel like it?!

Here are a few of my favorites. Probably won't have much detailed reasoning as everyone else but here it goes.

Lita: I know going into any match with Lita that I will have to be prepared for an RP war and I love that. She has her characters so well thought out and always has some sort of good idea to make what we are both doing better.

Craig: Same as Lita. Craig was my very first feud in FIW and I still remember it very fondly. Jack Manson vs Dark Angel.....we ended up doing a best of series and it was so much fun. I remember some of the crazy RP's like Dark Angel trapping Jack Manson in a car at a junkyard. Some of the stuff was so unbelievable but I think that is what made it so much fun.

Seph: I like working with Seph because he really pulls out that competitive nature in me. I genuinely get nervous RPing against Seph but enjoy doing so very much.

Jim: Jim is a wrestling booking genius or something. I love Jim and I love working with Jim. Ethan Adams vs Jim O'Brien is one of my favorite feuds along the likes of Jack Manson vs Dark Angel.

There are so many others here I would like the opportunity to work with topping that list would be; Wight, Marc, and Sid. Really I'd be happy to work with anyone because we have such a great group of RP'ers here.

Try to throw up some folks who haven't been mentioned.

Mun- Dude...Dude...Duuuuuude. Mun has 7 Dual Crown reigns to his name, with two different characters. That alone tells you that caliber of man he is right there. Dude can drop a verbal A-Bomb on ya outta nowhere, he can dissect you're insults and all while doing it with a sense of class and dry wit. Dude is a clever beast, and I'm damn proud of our Pretty Entertaining Tag Title reign, because we chased those bad boys for awhile. Guy can bring it when he wants it, and most of the time he wants it.

Jo-While already mentioned, it goes without saying that Jo is a buddy. Broham was a huge help with helping Neo be a face in Neo's early days, and was essential in turning him heel which lead to him becoming a much better character. Without Jo, there would be no successful Neo. So you can blame him for that :P Jo's an odd ball, and writes some stuff I've never even had cross my mind before. There are many fond memories I have of Bad Girls. That mansion is weird tho.

Matt- Ahhh yes, Darian Gray. I introduced Matt to this style of RPGing as he had never done an e-fed of this kind before. I showed 'em the ropes, gave 'em tips and pointers. I try my best to be a positive mentor so someone else can enjoy this hobby, because it's such a blast here in FIW. Matt is a total natural, very clever, very witty. He's great to bounce ideas off of and is just totally easy to get along with. He's helped Roy/Sorrow reach a new level and I feel Depicting Sorrow is some of the best stuff I've done in a long time. I like working with Matt, but always look forward to the chance to work opposite of him again.

Nate-Man, Nate and I...Man, we talk a lot of shit to each other behind the scenes xD We basically just bury one another's characters and it's lead to some of the most hilarious shit I've ever read. I think Nate is one of the most refined writers we have here in FIW, as he breathes a sense of cinematic light into his promos that really make them shine and stand out when you notice the little nuances he places in his work. Guy is a verbal engineer and damn asshole to beat, anytime I go head to head with Nate I know he'll bring his A+ game and I always know I gotta step it up.

Kyle- Kyle, Kyle is mah brother from another mother. Known 'em since my days in NWW. To be honest though, we never really worked together until I made the jump to FIW. That's when I got to work more closely with 'em. Kyle is a very tactical writer and is capable of coming up with some very clever jokes and shut downs. He's vulgar and crude, but somehow makes Keith Williams charming. He made Deacon DEATH work, a gimmick I think in anyone else's hands would have flopped mercilessly. DEATH and Neo tore it down quite a few times, and is a great feud I recommend everybody check out on the FIW Network for 8.99!

Craig- Clay Krueger, hands down, best Neo Carner opponent had when he was a face. Clay Krueger was such a villain he made Neo look more heroic than he actually was. Neo could be trying to seduce Clay's wife and Craig has a way to just generate heat. It's crazy! He's a damn clever guy. Great mind for the business, always capable of turning a loss into a win for himself. Dude was a great spin doctor, and Clay's come up with some of the best diatribes FIW has seen. Blast to work with and I've been dying for a Neo/Clay program since Neo turned heel.

Steve- Steve is a bastard. Steve ended Neo's first UIC reign with BO-JACK. Man that loss stung, I remember being so sad after xD Steve's a brawler man, he can throw the verbal punches with the best of 'em. Working with him with Cage, Neo and Jack Manson was an absolute delight and is hands down one of my favorite feuds. In case you couldn't tell by how much Neo name dropped the hell out of Jack Manson after he beat 'em. That was me letting everyone know that I was damn proud of that feud because I feel like Steve and I did some great business there.

Well, I guess it's okay to give a more specific answer this go round. I might not be able to do full bore paragraphs on people, because the reasons I like people here are pretty similar, and I'd just be typing the same things over and over. So this might be more word association with a couple sentences. So, in no particular order...

Wight: Straight up, I wanna be Wight when I grow up. College professor level knowledge of e-fedding, successful with a multitude of characters, NGIW... so it closed a bunch of times, whenever it opened back up, there was always a stacked roster of handlers and characters waiting in the wings to come back. I don't think the same could be said for FIW, honestly. Not just one of the best roleplayers I've had the pleasure of knowing, but just one of the most creative people in general I've ever met.

Lita: Just another super creative mind that's intelligent and passionate about the craft and just... really good at this stuff. A really great person to work with as well.

Lita & Wight: Yeah, I get to put them over some more. :P You two are like the Austin & Rock of the fed (or Trish & Lita, I'll let you two decide which is which). And when people put me in the same sentence as those two as the best in the fed, I won't lie, I kinda mark out. Cause... well, yeah, I'm good. I'm really good and I don't think I sound conceited saying that. Hopefully. :P But they're the Austin/Rock tier, and I feel like I'm in the Bret/Shawn/Hunner/Taker/Foley tier. But, again, whenever I'm compared to Lita or Wight in a positive light, I feel really good about myself because that's tremendous company to be a part of.

Craig: I really haven't worked with Craig all that much, but the dude was a fuckin' blast. The Jim/Orion feud was probably the one feud... that's the juiciest lemon that never got squeezed, if that makes any sense at all. My computer took a dump and he took over Slam in about the same week or 2 pretty early in the feud, so we never really could get anything going. And, sorry Craig, I'm still mad that you killed off Orion because he was such a great character.

Wilton: Another good friend and a super creative guy. And even though we don't get to work together much, whenever we do we put something special together.

Seph: What a dude. Fuckin' animal of a roleplayer, very cool OOC. And have you read Neo/Mungrel II yet? :P Just another great creative mind that I share a wavelength with. Whenever we work together, it always jives.

Bran: Yes, Bran, wherever he is. Very ambitious, very creative, and when he was clicking on all cylinders, he was in his own league.

Nate: He's a good brother. :P We've never really crossed in-character since he came back but I'm chomping at the bit. BWC/Coulter Club is a dream feud I'm keeping tucked into the back of my mind, it's a card I hope that gets played someday. Dude is a money writer and a great friend.

Bleak: You'll never be Other Steve to me. :) Again, we haven't gotten to cross paths in-character, OOC the guy's great. Great match writer, dude should take some ppv main events IMO. Very creative and very smart. Always been cool to work with.

Ash: I said it in the birthday thread, but one of my most favorite people to work with ever. I wasn't always an easy person to work with, especially during the 2012-13 run when he was GM but we made the most of it and were able to adjust on the fly when we had to. I'm also glad to say that I wrote his most favorite match ever (Jim vs Ash Phoenix at Anarchy '13). When he told me how much he liked it, that was one of the greatest compliments I've ever received.

Steve: I <3 Steve too. Awww. Another great mind, super creative, a great GM too. I also treasure the Jim/Ethan feud and I think it's fair to say we both wrote some of our best work with those characters during that feud.

Dai: Dai, Dai, Dai my darlin'... ;) I know I've typed "great mind" and "super creative" a hundred times already, but... great mind and super creative. :P Always a pleasure to work with. Jim/Daisuke and O'Brien Clan/Allen & Tanaka are two of my most favorite feuds ever. And, interesting fact, the song I've listened to the most via iTunes was a song Dai ran by me, called Sign of the Times by Europe (I think it was 88 times last I saw :P ).

Kyle: Kyle and I make magic, mang. The Flannel Friends, Jim/Keith, Rougarou/Deacon, everything in-between has just been sweet. One of the big reasons Rougarou came to FIW was because I wanted to feud with Deacon DEATH (then Mr. GEIST) so badly. Whenever we're together, we're money.

These aren't just the people I like, but like I posted earlier, I'm cool with everybody here. I really feel like the fed hasn't been a tighter knit community more than it is and has been the past year or so. There's been peaks and valleys, we've gotten hacked off at eachother here & there but shit works itself out and I'm really happy about that. :)

Bleak: You'll never be Other Steve to me. smile.gif Again, we haven't gotten to cross paths in-character, OOC the guy's great. Great match writer, dude should take some ppv main events IMO. Very creative and very smart. Always been cool to work with.

So that makes me....The Other Steve? :o You even listed me second. :( :P

Steve: I <3 Steve too. Awww.  wub.gif Another great mind, super creative, a great GM too. I also treasure the Jim/Ethan feud and I think it's fair to say we both wrote some of our best work with those characters during that feud.

Yeah....Jim is in my top 3 of e-fed people I love. Too bad I basically killed Ethan's career when I took over as fedhead this last time and too bad Jim is too much of a pussy to come back and face Ethan one last time. :P

I kid....I kid....:D

One of my favorite signs I did for a Revolt when we still showed signs at the start of the show said something like: "Have we ever seen Holburn and Adams in the same place?"

Don't want to sound like a suck-up or anything....But I have respect for everyone on this forum. A lot of great characters, angles, and RPs, and that is a testament to great writing.

For example, Jimbo's entertaining and has always been good to me. Pain has all the potential in the world, and should be a World Champion at some point. And Minister Wighty....Man, he is the mad scientist of FIW as far as creative characters go. Bleak, from my first RP go-around, produced nothing but quality matches. Top-notch work. I also liked Jo's contributions to the Hellcats division, shame he's on hiatus (I'm assuming a hiatus).

Just a few examples, but with a fed like FIW, it would kill my fingers if I praised every single person.
