HC: Lita
DC: Sid
UIC: YT
Tag: Sid
FSC: Seph
Street Fight: Sid
Welcome Match: Sid

Segments were by YT, Lita, Dai, Boy, Other Steve, Jim, Marc and myself.

For future reference to those that let me know they have an important segment for the show, please let me know if you are unable to get those in. I'd rather know ahead of time so I don't potentially slow down the process of posting the show.

I enjoyed the show. I hate that my mind went where it did around the time I sat down to write a roleplay this week, but I just sort of rolled with what I did. I will try to get back later with more feedback, but I will say this was a really good show.

I hope no-one was waiting on the segments me & Wight cooked up. Nothing worth holding a show up for, but fun bits of fluff.

One problem I noticed, and it was completely my fault: Sakura's entrance needs updating.

Kim was tremendous this week. When I first saw she wanted her rematch I was excited until I worked out exactly what that meant: the full wrath of Kim Coulter being aimed directly at my head. Having the belt in the VS screen was a beautiful touch. Cutting a promo about how awesome the screen was was genius.

Show rocked, as per. Liked how the UIC went from Fingerpoke territory to full-on bloodbath pretty quickly. ZOMG, surprise corner men in the DC match. The New York Jets with a run-in! (check their profile for that shit joke.)

Will get to thoughts on what I liked about the week's RPing in a bit.

I had a lot of fun with the segment Bleak and I did with Johnny and Mercedes. I'm really enjoying Johnny interacting with people more than just Brittany and the Sharks. It's really helping develop him as a person and helping him work out his awkward quirks that a lot of people didn't realize he actually had. I'm also enjoying the whole Mercedes/Brittany/Sakura situation. It's such a small thing but I feel it adds a lot to the Hellcats division.

The Tag title match was a fun read. The Sharks were written amazingly, so thank you for that Sid. I'm not sure how they retained the titles this week because I really struggled with them this week. Not sure what happened there. I loved Brittany playing the role of taking beat down that led to the champs doing the comeback. That's exactly the kind of character she is right now. The only peculiar thing was Brittany German Suplexing Nathaniel. My mind had major trouble seeing that. Otherwise, all was good and the match was a lot of fun. Thanks to whoever decided the Sharks should retain!

I had a lot of trouble writing the Hellcats title match. I love writing Kim in matches because I really like what I've done with her character-wise and wrestling-wise. She's just the type of character that flows in the ring for me. I can always think of something for her to do in any situation. However, as much as I love Sakura, her style of wrestling is something I've not seen a lot in action so it's difficult for me to write her. Not to mention, I can never seem to get in the heads of Dai's characters for whatever reason. So I hope Sakura was written OK in it.

FYI: The Dunk Squad. I totally forgot they were supposed to be ringside for Sakura. After I remembered, I did a quick spot with them. I hope they were written OK and sorry they didn't get more play.

Really really really strong show. Thanks everyone who wrote. I really liked the FSC. Gutted Jesse King lost. He's a real hero. Neo's a monster.

*coughs* Anyhow.

This show makes me want to talk about something that's probably one of the hardest things in judging a match. Even worse than a regular close match is a close match for a title where the closeness isn't determined by a mountain of effort on either side, but the opposite. In situations like that, you can look at one side and go "oh, yeah, the champ didn't do a very good job of defending their title, it makes sense that they could lose" and you look at the other side and go "the challenger did OK, but did they do good enough to become champion? I'm not so sure."

Now, I'm not saying this so either party feels guilty about not RPing enough, and I'm certainly not trying to stir the pot or call anyone's work "bad". It wasn't. Nothing I read this week was bad. It was just... close, and not for the exciting reasons. For me, at least, that makes a title match difficult to judge. "One could argue that the challenger did better than the champ, but am I convinced of this? And even if the challenger did better, did they do [INSERT CHAMPIONSHIP HERE] caliber better?" With title changes being such a sensitive subject, both OOC for the RPers who are trying to earn them and IC for maintaining the importance of the title, it's a place where a judge needs to tread carefully.

Just some insight. I'm certainly not saying all the matches were this way this week, but it bears reminding that just because you lost doesn't mean you didn't do well. It just means you didn't do well enough... or that the other person did better enough. Try again next time and see if you can't put out the kind of work that tips those scales a little harder. And, of course, if you won this week but wonder if you really deserved it (as I so often do) maybe you should be a little less laid-back in the future.

Anyhow, I'm glad we can finally pull the dropcloth off this ruse cruise. Had a lot of fun with Seph organizing this part of the angle, but I'm also glad it's over. Surprised and delighted that as many people OOC fell for the work as they did.

One last thing to offer; if you're going to RP but your work ends up in the Rising forum for WHATEVER reason... maybe post, like, a news link in the regular RP forum that shows us your RPs. I had no idea Seph had even done anything until Dai mentioned something to me late in the week, at which point it was a bit too late to scrape anything together. Not that it mattered, given the situation with the match, but still... keeping up appearances and all that.

Oh man this show was fun to read. I loved basically all the matches. The UIC is an obvious favorite, but given the circumstances that only makes sense. I though the FSC match was grand, so thanks to Seph for that.

The open challenge thread was a blast and it was a fun opportunity, Kursur is a character who doesn't often find himself in the ring promo-ing against his opponents directly, so it was interesting to write for.

- Wight's right. About everything.
- I dig Kursur a lot more in FIW. I dunno, less inside stuff that I don't know about, and more straight up heelery.
- Jesse's promo that absolutely wasn't based on Randy Savage at his highest. That is to say, his most high.
- Nick Riot seems to be clicking a bit better these last few weeks, although it takes a better rman than me to say a name like "Randy Riot" with a straight face.
- For Sakura's style, something like Asuka crossed with Hideo Itami would do. Seems like she's had a bit of the lovable exuberance of Bayley recently which I'm not opposed to, because Bayley's awesome.
- Did I mention that VS screen was awesome?

-Really enjoyed the show. I loved that Seph and Wight didn't go down the easy route with the UIC and actually made it into a fight, but they kinda meant to make it a fight too. It was cool.
-I figure too that Sakura's style would be more like Asuka; Joshi with MMA roots.
-The VS screen IS awesome
-Cody and Erik disrupting the tag was pretty sweet. Lots of stuff to work on from this.
-I've got JIM NEXT WEEK ASDGFHJKL /marking

I'll just pop in really quick to say I was happy with Dawg/Silas (as well as the VS. screen - I'm holding onto that one a looooong time :) ). I was confused and honestly kinda sour about the finish for a little bit - not with losing, necessarily. I expected and honestly deserved to lose. I was just expecting something... different. But that's on me; my head's been elsewhere the past month or so, so I'm sure some details have slipped past me. Again, I do apologize for not having left much feedback or been all that active OOC lately. I know I addressed some of my personal issues lately, and things just haven't changed and won't anytime soon, I don't think. I'll just keep truckin' and doing what I can do. If anyone's taken my recent lack of activity as a slight, I sincerely apologize.

Jesse/Neo VS screen was a delight to see, made me feel like I was going against a real legend. The match...Well, I guess I'm like Jim and just expected something different. I never brought too much attention to Jesse's age as I really didn't see it as a factor, wasn't too fond of Chip calling my opponent an old man and the age stuff, kinda made me frown just reading it. I know Sid wrote it, and it's a great match, just feel like history's greatest monster for taking out the awesome Jesse King. I was going to try and get another Jesse/Neo interaction going in the RP section, but that never got out of gear. Was going to do a Neo/Rufus promo where Rufus recounted a time he faced Jesse in the old territory days and talk about how ruthless Jesse got, but sadly work kept me from doing too much in the RP board last week.

Great to see Lucas back, the Rou/Dawg match was a barn burner, those guys deserve to be in the Dual Crown scene.

FSC was fun, as I usually don't enjoy writing multi-man matches but I really wanted to highlight every guy and make 'em all look good. I did my best to make the most of every stipulation and I think the commentary is a little more solid than my past affairs.

UIC was a great match, I was chuckling and laughing the whole time reading it. When the tone got serious the laughs stopped, and it was a great transition. The laughs came back when the scene shifted, it was a wonderful display of writing. I think that match is gonna be one of my favorites for awhile that Cage has done. As for the Rising promo, I just thought with Rising RPs forum link being at the top of the RP board it wouldn't be too hard to see.

The Coulter/Sharks match was a good piece of work, surprised by the results as The Coulter Crew put out some pretty solid work with their TEAM promo. Cody/Erik will probably do wonders for each other as I feel they can probably strike the iron and give off some great chemistry.

Hellcat match was a well written and had that classic in the making match feel to it, kudos to Dai for retaining.

All in all, it was a great show! Thanks to all those that helped, and to all of those that have given feedback.

lol, I picked Randy as like, a little nod to someone who helped me developed Riot years ago...And he fell off the face of the Earth, so I figured (As morbid/cynical as this sounds) similar to dying. But yeah, the FSC match was definitely a good read. I loved how Riot/Richlen have been showcased. I hope that me and him can have a hugely awesome feud from here on out. Thanks for the read Seph and keep it up writers! Everything on all ends have been awesome! The only match I read so far was mine, but I'm actually going to read the whole thing right now :D

Still trying to wrap my head around everything that is going on since my return and get myself up to date with all of FIW's happenings. I've skimmed the show with the exception of my match which made Xander come off dominate in his debut. I hope that people will like this character. The only nit pick and it is just that a nit pick is that Dragon offered a handshake to Xander. Not something I would have imagined happening after the events that transpired in my RP. But that really isn't a big deal. Good show overall.

Sources say Dragon wanted a handshake since it'd been the first time he was on a RATC/PPV since Clay Krueger was DC.

Excellent show this week and also great work by everyone this week. I can definitely see what Wight was saying because everybody brought fire to the boards this week.

DC Match was great though, like Jim, the ending kinda threw me a little but definitely not enough and I still really enjoyed the match. Rougarou looked like an unstoppable beast and Dawg got an awesome rub off of it. Really enjoyed working with Jim and Seph this week. Not gonna lie that I was kinda waving my fist at the screen when Seph posted before me since I had completely written in a full response that I had to try to tweak to include Neo. LOL It's all good though because Neo was a real nice sprinkle to make the Silas/Dawg interaction even more interesting.

I think it's also worth saying that Marc & Seph were straight up animals in our thread. I was completely outclassed and found myself grateful I'm not in the title picture & probably won't be again anytime soon, cause I couldn't hang with them on a regular basis. Major props and kudos to Marc & Seph, they're two of the best in the fed right now and I'm certain that there's a Hall of Fame graphic in their futures.

I think it's worth mentioning that this is the only week I've ever voted against Jim to win a match.

Dont get discouraged silly.

I love Jim (sometimes more than is appropriate ;)) but Mad Dawg is the Dawg right now. Best of luck to Seph and Mun at Legend. That match is going to own the show.

A vote against me in a championship match is a vote in favor of me maintaining whatever mental stability I still have. :)

Not gonna lie, I was sweating the whole week on whether I could beat ya. Definitely wouldn't say you were outclassed. If anything I just got real lucky and was able to feed off of the chemistry all three of us had going.

Apologies for the late post here. I'd intended to leave feedback yesterday, but this weekend was a bit busy for me, so I wasn't able to. But here we go!

Definitely loved the way the tag title match went. I almost expected Helena to cause the loss for BLS, but seeing Holland and Cody cause the loss was a nice touch. Alexander was written perfectly in what he would do in the ring and everything. I couldn't have asked for him to be written any better. I knew before the show was up that BLS wasn't winning the titles. Personally I felt my contribution to our RPs wasn't even remotely up to snuff. I won't speak for Bleak in that regard, (although given a conversation we had, I'd be willing to bet he feels the same way about his RPs as I do about mine). I felt okay about the combination thread we had, but unless I'm mistaken, I know those RPs don't count as much as other formats for RPs. But even despite that, I don't think we (meaning Bleak and myself) hit the mark.

I also like that Alexander was included toward the end in the Kim/Sakura match. That was a nice touch as well and definitely enjoyed the match as a whole. I half expected Kim to flip out on BLS for not doing much to help the situation. Lol. Overall it was a great match and I like the way Alexander and Eversol both played the traditional heel in the "you can't kick us out, we're not doing anything wrong!" thing. And I think it's cool that they didn't get involved in the match in a physical way cause it plays into what they both said before about how they felt Kim could get the job done on her own. As much as they were kissing ass, they did believe it too. So I like the continuity there.

Overall, the entire show was a really fun read and definitely had some finishes that I wasn't expecting. Really enjoyed reading it and looking forward to seeing how things play out on next week's show.

Speaking of which, I need to get a couple of RPs up for that still! *scurries off*
