It's technically Wednesday, so this is technically feedback! Whoo-ha! Thanks to Lita, Steve, Quincy, Bleak, and Adam for the promos. Lots of very close matches this week. Which is great, even though we had a number of debuts and returns, everybody seemed to easily meet the standards of their opponents! I didn't get as much feedback in my inbox as I usually do. It was impressed upon me that it was a difficult week for feedback because so many were conversations and back-and-forths, which is fantastic but doesn’t really lend itself to feedback. But I'll do what I can with what I received and my own stuff. (Un)-Deserving, Johnny Amazing and Kim Coulter We’re off the back of a big night for Johnny Amazing, first arranging the match with Zombie Black at Anarchy in the UK and then defeating the Dual Crown Champion in a non-title match. Both are huge moments for Johnny and sold as such in this roleplay. The review of his match with Mad Dawg is believable, personally I’d like to have heard more about exactly what he did, a couple of moves, but he’s not gone down that path. Fairly brief mention of Zombie Black but that’s too be expected, there’s plenty of time for that to play out. The Kim Coulter appearance is a contrast with Johnny’s promo, he is realistic and believable whereas she is over the top, just from her initial exaggerations. Kim is there to put over Nathaniel and does a good job of it, again personally I think it would have benefitted from a Nathaniel appearance squaring up to Johnny, he doesn’t need to say anything but I just think it would have ended the rp nicely poised. Overall it’s a good roleplay, as all of Lita’s stuff are, I’m being overly harsh in the couple of missed opportunities but I felt worth feeding back. Tattooed Freaks The Tattooed Freaks RP was very detailed, very novelish in it's writing style. And, while it did paint a nice picture, they didn't really actually say a whole lot with it. Los Gatitos While XK had two RPs that were a little shorter than his usual affair, they said alot more in them to me. And, were generally more entertaining. Richlen The poem was a very nice touch. The first RP was phenomenal stuff from Sticky. PHENOMENAL. The biggest suggestion I could make is to have used FIW wrestlers and FIW history instead of WCW/WWF/WWE. But at the same time I get why he did it that way. I've done similar stuff myself. The second, however, was a bit too transparent and petty. Honestly, I think it detracted from the previous effort's work more than it added to it. Keep the energy of the first one up more frequently. Katsu Shun I really thought these were fun. The graphics and the ads at the end were neat. It's such a fresh perspective and angle for a character and T's doing great things with it. Keep up the good work. Roy Sorrow I felt it was a really good step in the right direction for the character and it made me want to see him win his match. Stephen Eversol Steve buried the competition in a sea of good RPs that were important in hyping the match, building the character, and building storylines for him. So, good show everyone. Card should be up as well, PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE sign up to take a match or two. I don't need an epic; just two or three pages. Anything you can give helps, and if you need to write the match in advance, just do the appropriate number of outcomes so I can pick one come judgement time. Thanks! Thots? |

Woo, temporary New Sig time. Excellent work, as always from Lita. Liked the show; a few nifty angles in there to build up to Anarchy. Good stuff. As for RP feedback, I did think I had another day to think up some coherent thoughts, not that I think I would have been able to mention anything beyond what was covered above. |

I love how clearly edited the promo with Xander and Quincy was. The use of ANTIQUE FARM EQUIPMENT seemed so blatantly edited in that in my head it was like the bleeping of a swear word which is in fact what I originally used. |

Hmm. Brick Sharks got more screen time in Sorrows match than Sorrow and they didn't even compete x.x Cage results as expected |

I wish Katsu could've picked up the win but at least some liked what I'm trying to do with him. I'm not exactly sure where I'm going with him but for now I'm just going with flow. Great show and all that shiznit. |

I wrote the Brick Sharks stuff around the match already there. So their screen time wasn't anything to do with the match writer. |

I'm sure you're being genuine here, but I just want to say for the record that I don't like doing that. I'm a guy who believes strongly in free speech, but I'm also a guy who doesn't need that kind of anxiety in his life. If it were just you posting it, if you'd had a chance to talk it over first... that'd be different. But it was something I had to "approve" going into the show, and that wasn't a risk I personally felt like taking. |

I absolutely LOVED Gus looking for submissions at the start of the match, based on last week's match with Cage (and result) that was just awesome. Wight still can't spell 'Krueger', which does make me chuckle. Really liked the Triple X promo, that's motivated me to at least start my first PPV RP. Highly motivated this week to take it to Sticky, who produces both intensity and quality. It was a real challenge and very rewarding, whatever the result. The Anarchy in the UK card looks absolutely brilliant (as do the graphics), I can't really decide which match I'm most looking forward to. Hellcats? UIC? FSC? All of them! In terms of writing I could take the Dual Crown and I'd be up for writing the FSC if you want anybody other than you (Wight) to write it as I would think it can only be written on Thursday 19th or at the latest on Friday 20th due to the order of elimination depending on judges getting their orders in. I'm happy to take it and write it then, if that's acceptable. |

I mean... sure. Go for it. Thank you! I'm typing this sentence now to add 'Krueger' to my Firefox's dictionary so that when I type Kreuger it gives me the red lines of WRONG. *laughs* |

100% genuine. In fact when you said you were changing it to antique farm equipment, I kind of said to myself...WTF? How will that fit in to what I wrote? Then I read it over on the show this morning and it actually fit perfectly right down to the formatting which made it feel edited. I honestly almost wish I had thought of editing it myself and leaving it with Hitchen saying "He can't say that." I get where you were coming from on the edit and even was a bit skeptical about using the N-Bomb myself. So I think it was a call that was merited. |

In my defense, I was just trying to get something up for you guys to get a feel about the team. In retrospect, I could have done more but time was against me. Is there anyway I could get included onto this card as Tabitha Brinkley? |

Well, neither of Mun's characters are booked, but I don't know if that's an oversight, or he wants a break. Other options with handlers are Vi and Shaelin, who are secondary characters for people who probably have enough on their plate. If not there's enhancement talent if you're really desperate. |

I personally like how Riot's being booked lately. The fact that he constantly relies on using a steel chair to get victories plays into the whole "this is your fate" type mentality, if that makes any sense. I personally thought I was outshined in the promos, but nevertheless it made for a great promo to read that's for sure. The battle royal should be fun (And good luck to the bastard who writes that one up!) I think that if you put me and Sticky together, good shit will happen. I get the same feeling with really any of these competitors. |

None of my characters were booked and I couldn't have had more fun this week! It was nice not having a specific match to worry about trying to win and really get a chance to have Kim focus on all of her clients. I really enjoyed the three separate threads going on with Nate, Bleak, and Adam. You guys were all great! Each of those threads felt fresh and new even though I opened them almost exactly the same way. And the Nate/Bleak combo that followed up on that was a really great addition to the work I feel like the entire Crew did this week. I'm looking forward to continuing this hot streak going into Anarchy in the U.K. Brittany was tons of fun this week. I'm really enjoying exploring her character and getting a chance to have her evolve into a full-fledge wrestler who cares about things wrestling-related (the Hellcats title) but also things that aren't wrestling related at the same time (her friendship and the allure of Cage Murdock). The segment for the show was a lot of fun. I like getting things like this onto the show to really shape matches. Thanks for helping me with it, Wight! I'm looking forward to building to a Summer of Sin match with Dai or Bleak after Anarchy is over. I didn't do much with Johnny but I knew I wanted to get him onto the show. I don't like when his mug is missing. Haha. I would have enjoyed doing something with him and Mercedes but she was understandably busy this week with the big Dawg. Still, the show bit was fun because Wight gave me a great story to work with. Glad I was able to get Johnny's reaction in there before Zombie fixed things up. This should play out great with all three. I love working with Wight and I've missed the Johnny/Nathaniel rivalry. The Brick Sharks have been missing for too long since I didn't RP them this week. However, I'm glad I was able to get them into the show on commentary. Sorry if they got too much screen time. :\ |

That was a really good go-home show for the PPV. The way that Nathaniel got thrown into that UIC match and then Johnny did as well was really surprising (in a good way). The way that Brittany is now the special referee for the Hellcat match was another big surprise that really gives Dai and I a ton more to RP about this week on top of what's already been a really fun feud. I didn't write the little Eversol and Helena segment, I believe that was Adam so the credit all goes to him for that. I really liked it though and was cool seeing Eversol and Helena "bury the hatchet", so to speak and then having her come through for him in the match was great. I was really shocked to see it's Eversol and Helena for the tag straps and not Eversol and Alexander it adds a really cool lawyer to the Coulter Crew now that I'm excited to see play out. This past cycle was a ton of fun for me. The Kim thread was really fun and then the Nathaniel and Eversol RP where they "compared notes" was a lot of fun too. I really wanted Alexander and Stephen to show how they're no longer trying to politick behind the other. The fact that the "Diamond Insurance" reference was mentioned in the match was great. For Mercecdes it was really fun working with Marc for the week since I'd never been on his team before. I like that mixed tag match for setting up the respective titles matches by turning up the heat on them just a little bit more. I'm definitely hyped for Anarchy next week. |

Oh i have no problem with Brick Sharks getting screen time. Hell i wish they had more. Hell im not mad about that at all. Just the Roy Sorrow promos were something i worked really hard on because it really bothered me that he was so universally panned as droppable. Id been fine if he had a spot or a moment or hell anything. But some brawling and getting tossed out of the ring. Doesn't really give me anything to work with. *shrug* Don't care he didn't win i just felt like he got as much out of that match as he would have if he wasn't involved. As for Cage. I had a blast with everyone i worked with. Sakura and Brittany are such fleshed out characters. And it's not Neo. I don't get butt hurt if he loses. Hell believe i was mad he won against the Brick Sharks when i felt he should've lost. Which kind of goes hand in hand with the fact i'm all for Brick Sharks getting screen time. They need it after losing to one man. A big man sure. But one man none the less. |
