Hopefully the show is posted okay, browser keeps crashing and the times just seem weird. Must be set to some American scale. Segments: Dai, Nate, Lita and… Wight? I REALLY should write these down. Matches: Dai's to be added (and me, although just assume the rest are me). Lita did offer to help but I have only just realised that’s what she said. Thanks also to Sticky for a favour he did me this week, even if it was in vein (he’ll understand). Hard, hard, hard week for results. Not in terms of content of the matches, there’s so much to go off that in some matches the action is practically a secondary concern, of actual decisions. Almost all matches have a split decision, aside from the squashes and where there was an unfortunate no-show. It’s a product of having a team of judges with different preferences, likes and dislikes. As mentioned in another thread, it was a top week for roleplays and that brings us to Summer of Sin nicely. For me this whole period as GM was about getting to Summer of Sin and working from there but the most part it’s turned out to be a time of opportunity and interest. I should highlight some feedback from this week, namely that Matt was on fire and produced some fantastic stuff and was described as “absolutely incredible”. Do let me know either here or in PM if you feel I’m not capturing the essence of your character, I know I’m not brilliant with the Brick Sharks (part of that is due to the opponents I’ve booked them against), or missing things in roleplays that I should be using in matches. I would expect those with multiple characters to get involved in writing matches for the PPV, that may be just 1 and there is a pre-PPV match which we’d have short results for available for anybody not feeling equipped to tackle a full written out affair. Again, that’s a case of PMing or replying here. Thanks to all for efforts, thoughts? |

Dai's match was a whole ten minutes late. FORGIVENESS PLEASE. Hopefully Sakura hasn't stolen too much of Vi's glory there; I've tried to go for as much of a non-contact build-up to this PPV match, just for a little something different. I found a good tone for the Sakura vs. Johnny match a few weeks ago, and I'm trying to keep that one up for Sakura. And yes, Wight helped me one of the segments. If anyone ever gets stuck writing Sakura, imagine if Asuka was running a not quite completely convincing Bayley kind of character. Candelira is probably not a bad shout for the character, for all you Sentai fans. |

FORGIVENESS GRANTED. Cheers, man. Summer of Sin card updated, title history updated... I always feel like I'm forgetting something when I write in the feedback threads. Welcome back to Mike and Will. I'm just about to head over to the Euro 2016 thread, so I'll announce that the winning FIW participant is... Kursur. Yep, that about sums up the tournament. |

Good show. Uther was well-written and I had no problem at all with Vi's match. A little surprised I picked up the win, especially after Lita's last drop, but it's not unappreciated. Weird for Vi to have any kind of momentum, both in and out of character. Strange times. |

i like how kira and yuki were this week. The finish with yuki flowed pretty good and the tag team match with kira was well written.I like how nick came in and screwed up his chances of winning after a failed pin attempt. It all worked pretty good to me. |

It was you! You're the other person who contributed to a segment. I knew there was one more! |

I have to say I'm quite surprised by the result of my match. I was very nervous going up against two very capable opponents and worried that what I put out might not be enough. The finish of the match was perfect and in true fashion of what I imagine for the Jack Manson Jr.'s character. He certainly is a snake in the grass. From what I've read the show was a pretty solid go home show. I'll read more later and already have some ideas for RPing. |

Excellent show this week. Really great final build going into the PPV. The Alexander and Amazing feud has hit a really nice peak with the career stipulation so I'm dying to see how that ends. The stuff with Hitchen was crazy as hell too. Main event was awesome, really great to finally see Mad Dawg against a Krueger. Really intense match and an awesome non-finish that can definitely be built off of. Had a lot of fun going against Craig too, kept me on my toes like a muggafugga. Enjoyed working with Lita too, even though I was bummed I couldn't help her pull out the victory. It's like I'm good luck for myself but bad mojo for anyone else. ![]() Anyways, onward to SoS! |

A really great go-home show all around this week. Once again, I had a blast writing with Nate. This Nathaniel/Johnny feud has been even more fun this go around than it was when we first had the two characters cross paths. Nate is just so easy to bounce ideas off of and he's pretty gung-ho about basically anything, while adding some really awesome stuff on his own. I am super excited for the International Championship match at Summer of Sin and know that it's going to be a lot of fun. Nice to see Yuki Sakaraba with another victory. MrOtaku did a great job following the feedback from last week. Just keep on fine-tuning that presentation and start getting Yuki more involved with characters. Have her really zone in on some of the character she feels aren't "kawaii" enough. I enjoyed the interactions I had with Drew Stevenson and Jack Manson Jr. this week. Like me, Kim is a huge fan of the two characters and I could definitely see her working well with either of them (or both of them!) in some capacity. I'm certainly interested if either of you have any ideas on where you would like your characters to go from here with Kim. The finish was a great way to keep both Drew and Jack looking good as they were really great this week. Dream and Riot were also very good, but the combo of Drew and Jack was incredible this week. The Jonathan Hitchen storyline was certainly unexpected. Interested to see where this goes. Very thrilled to see Darian and Kim working like major heels this week. I've had a lot of fun brewing heat between Kim and Shaelin on Twitter and am thankful that Craig capitalized on it in this match without rushing any resolution between the two. I could see this building for a good while with Shaelin dying to get her hands on Kim. I really had a great time writing with Matt this week. Darian Gray has been the client she has had her eye on since the moment he showed up. The two are like a match made in heaven and I'm so glad that Matt is finally interested! Lol. Happy for Wight that Vi got a victory. I just wish we had played the Just For Kicks up earlier if it was going to be the focal point of the "feud" heading into Summer of Sin. I mean, I'm glad we were able to do SOMETHING heading into the PPV match so there's that. Anxious to see how the match plays out at Summer of Sin. Should be lots of fun. Tag title match was interesting. The Nick Riot/Visual Keingdom feud is really spicing up as the weeks go by. Can't wait to see what happens in the Breakout match where all three characters will be in the ring together. Kind of wish Mun and I had been able to get something going between Dos Gatitos and the Sharks as since they are the only teams left in this Termico thing. Ah well. Should be loads of funny nonsense this RP cycle. Main-event was amazing to behold. I really thought Logan Krueger was going to do it, but Mad Dawg is a beast. Even a ringbell shot can't keep him down. I had tons of fun writing with Marc this week. He and I haven't really worked together too much so that was a new experience that I really enjoyed. Hopefully Brittany at least helped Mad Dawg in even some little way to get his victory. With that said, onto Summer of Sin! If anyone wants to do any co-op RPs with Kim, Johnny, Brittany, or the Sharks then hit me up! I am certainly interested in working with anybody! I just need a good idea to be presented to me. |

I had thought the focal point of this feud was the fact that Brittany and Sakura are friends who are fighting over something Very Important? Which I thought has been sold well enough, given the circumstances. |

Twas a great show! Wish I could give more detailed feedback but alas I'm posting on my phone. Thank you, by the way, for the feedback regarding Darian. Really worked hard on what I put out, so I hope it was enjoyed. Johnny/Nathaniel continues to be absolutely incredible. Uther seems interesting, definitely keeping my eye on him. Sakura/Vi segments were fun, really enjoying that and the build to Sakura vs Brittany. Fantastic work everyone! Edit: Forgot to add how great working against Gus/Shaelin was. Really competitive stuff. |

That has been the story that Brittany has been doing ever since Mercedes won the title, yes. I would hope it has been sold well enough considering how long it's been going on with both Mercedes and Sakura. Dai and I had plans to do something a bit more exciting and more of a build rather than just two girls waiting for their match against each other. The story Dai's come up with over the past two shows has been great. Just a shame that the JFK hadn't really been sold too much by Brittany before Dai's brilliant idea to hype it up heading into the match. |

The Twitter thread is a good way to quickly fire off something that isn't quite enough to flesh out a full RP. Kim stirring stuff up with Vi and Shaelin is a good example.
I'm glad you liked it. I wanted to make a little more of the Jujigatame, too. |

Overall, I thought the show was a great go-home show heading into SoS and it made me eager for a ton of stuff coming up! I had a lot of fun with the opening segment between Nathaniel and Johnny. I feel like Kim Coulter is the only one who’s been able to put Nathaniel in his place and make him squirm the way Johnny did in that opening segment. At least to my recollection, anyway. I’m having a blast with this feud and I’m definitely amped to get things rolling at SoS. I definitely agree with Lita that this Nathaniel/Johnny program has been way more fun than the first go-round. I don’t think there was as much heat between the two characters as there is now. Nice to see Mike Harrison in the mix again. If I’m not mistaken, he was around during my first run in FIW between 03-05. If I am mistaken, then disregard this. Lol. I do remember seeing the character at some point, though. Either way, it’ll be cool to see what happens with the character moving forward.Seeing the way Lita ended the segment where Nathaniel intimidates Brittany was awesome. It really sold the fact that she was scared and suddenly now wants Johnny at her side. And I like how Johnny might have had an idea what happened, but since he couldn’t prove it, he had to let it go. That whole segment was awesome and a lot of fun. The tag match he was involved in with Dream, Nick Riot, and Drew Stevenson was awesome. Like I had mentioned last week, I’m really enjoying what Steve has been doing with Jack Jr. The same is true for Dream as well. The short interaction Nathaniel had with Dream at the beginning of the Nathaniel/Johnny feud was fun. It’d have been great to push that a little more as well, but time wasn’t on our side there. The Jonathan Hitchen story that picked up after the tag match was intriguing. I’m definitely interested to find out what happens from here on with that whole story. It’s been great seeing Darian Gray and Kim interacting recently. I really like where things seem to be heading there and the tag match he was involved in was really cool as well. There were a lot of similarities between Nathaniel and Darian as far as match tactics go, so that was cool to see. I still say Nathaniel may have something to say about Kim and Darian working together, specifically based on those similarities between himself and Darian. Lol. But we’ll see what happens. Either way, this was a great match to read. Congrats to Wight for the victory with Vi over Brittany. I like how the potential injury to Brittany’s neck was played up again in this match and showing how she got past all of that by this point. The finish with Brittany being thrown off her game because of Sakura was a nice one. It’ll be interesting to see how the match plays out at Summer of sin between them two as well as the Vi/Shaelin match. The twist in the Brick Sharks/Visual Kingdom match was a nice one with Nick Riot seemingly coming in to help Kira only to turn on him the second things go south. That match was fun to read as well. I’m definitely eager to see how things play out in the 10-way for the DC title shot, specifically with Riot and Visual Kingdom. And I’m still a big fan of the Brick Sharks, so obviously I’m looking forward to their match as well. Lol. The main event was absolutely awesome and I liked the way it ended with Logan Krueger getting caught using the ring bell. Having all the 10-man participants coming to the stage was a nice touch as well, and it sets things up perfectly for that match just having them present on the stage at the end. Mad Dawg is definitely in for a tough task. That’s yet another match I’m eager to see play out at SoS. |
