Matches: Wight, Lita, Steve, Craig Promos: Craig, Crys, Terry Special Contribution: Rob This will be pretty brief because I want to work on the new card and there's a news post that needs to go with it. All results bar one were split decisions so that shows again how competitive we are and how much different judges are enjoying the work of different characters. The Fighting Spirit Championship match isn't the greatest I've ever written (something of an understatement) but hopefully the participants understand as it was my fourth match of the week. Special thanks go to Lita for the continued amazing graphics, to the match writers for their contribution and to every single roleplayer for their stories, which enhance the matches. A special note should go to the former Champions who lost their belts at this PPV. Without wishing to spoil anything, they have held their positions with distinction, their contribution is greatly appreciated and they should hold all of our respect. More detailed match feedback will come probably tomorrow, I go back to working on the card. |

No apologies or anything for the FSC. I thought it was pretty solid nonetheless. I liked the fact that it made Richlen looked pretty damn strong/badass, while showing Nick Riot's cowardice by trying to leave through the crowd/taking the title away instantly after the match. Though, I feel like I should apologize. I wanted to RP more but couldn't due to my work schedule (Mandatory OT, working damn near 12 hour days). I was actually able to with like, an hour before deadline but decided just to hold off. So to Sticky, sorry but, I really wanted to RP more. |

Eh, I expected to lose the championship. Only problem is now it's back to the drawing board for me. I seemingly always have trouble trying to get moving again after a loss. |

Jeeze, Hitchen, kayfabe. C'mon. ;D This was a damn good show. A lot of matches went contrary to what I thought, my own included. I really thought Eversol was going to take it after that last genius RP. But, then again, I never feel like I do enough, so I'm probably a bad judge of myself. But I did like the way everything went! I honestly really felt like the results were well-chosen and the specific way they worked out was really well-thought-out and well-executed. I said last week that I didn't know how we were gonna top the go-home show... and yet we did. |

Genuinely shocked by some of the outcomes for this show. Particularly the Brick Sharks and Johnny Amazing matches. I was certain I was losing a title this event. I was disappointed by some results, but I won't say which as I don't want to hurt the feelings of certain winners. Everybody did great on this show. I would have preferred certain handlers see reward for their work, but it is what it is. I did judge like 75% the show by telling Craig who I preferred but acknowledging that I would support a different winner if it went that way. So many matches were THAT close. Jericho Cruz and Stephen J. Eversol were both incredible this cycle. I was very impressed with the two of them. I'm gonna hold off on my opinion of having Zombie Black back until I see how it goes. Eversol was so much fun this cycle. I enjoyed working with Bleak so much and hope we can continue to work together. His solo RPs were some of the best I've ever seen from Bleak. I have been so happy working with Steve for the past couple of months. It should be no secret that I am greatly disappointed in a good portion of how Johnny's been booked by GMs in the past. This feud with Jack has been given so much attention by Craig and I really appreciate everything he's added to this in addition to what Steve and I have put into ourselves. Thank you both so much for helping me enjoy writing Johnny again. The match was probably the match of the night, in my opinion. I've missed Steve's writing. He really knows how to capture savagery without getting unrealistic about it. I feel like Jack and Johnny both looked incredible out there and I am very very happy with everything that he wrote. I'm stunned by the victory. Thank you to anyone who sided with Johnny because I really fought for it but so did Steve. The Hellcats title match was a fun read. I loved Brittany DDTing the hell out of everybody! Helena was a highlight to me throughout the week, though. I love how loony toons she is. It's written so well. Congrats on Sakura on another title defense. It looks like we might have to just introduce a second women's title for the other girls to fight for because this one is part of Sakura's personal wardrobe. I don't even know how to feel about the main-event. I love Marc and Matt both so this is very bittersweet. I've wanted to see Darian Gray as Dual Crown Champion forever and it's incredible to think that he's champion. Matt has put so much work into the character and really proven himself as a main-event caliber writer, so I'm happy to see him rewarded for that. Marc was a phenomenal Dual Crown and it was so very deserved, I'm glad he had the long reign that he had. I loved how involved Kim was in the match and really showed how badly she wanted Darian to be champion. Incredible match! All of the matches were written incredibly! Thanks to writers for their time and effort. Thanks to those who sent in promos. Rob should just re-join the fed already.

Another fantastic show from everyone involved. Personally I liked this a little more than Summer of Sin, and not just because I won. I got to see the card slowly built up into what it became, and it was absolutely amazing. Quick note: The song I parodied was "Boom Boom Boom Boom" by the Vengaboys. I hope that people picked up on it, since i forgot to link the video to the entrance. Dream setting up the entrance with Twitter was also fun, since I dont think anyone could guess that would happen. I will say that there's another song parody coming for Johnny Amazing, as I'll probably do these for PPV's and big matches that Dream has. (I also had one ready for Jack Manson Jr., though I was still struggling a bit with some lyrics.) I appreciate the showing Marilyn has as well, including the shootout to Michael Hayden's Limitless Wrestling Academy. With the Deadlocked series, I'm looking to explore more of Marilyn's character, especially with the story she set I with Courtney. Leuciddipies (hopefully I spelled the right) is doing great work and I'm confident that Crystal will hold a title soon. |

That's okay, I have to copy the name myself when I'm signing in away from home. lol If it helps, Crystal, Crys, or Lou is fine. ![]() I wasn't all upset with not winning, in all honesty it may have been a bit much for her to win a title this early in her career. But now that she's had her first show, maybe next time. Yeah? lol Did enjoy the match itself, highlighted each of the Hellcats nicely. I had a lot of fun with the party too. Too bad it kinda ended. lol Also, apologies for the promo. it was just meant to cover up Crystal's reaction to Marilyn potentially becoming a student for Courtney. Speaking of the party, was it ever established who won what prizes? I think I was more eager for that than the HDC match result. lol Ugh, I'm bad. |

And I hope Caleb is involved some. I actually think it would be cool to see Marilyn crushing on Caleb now since Trianna Charles has made passes at him. It'd be hilarious if it played a part in the eventual Trianna vs. Marilyn match that this series should give us. |

OK, it has been a few hours since I read B&F. Since then, I have gone through a tedious hell at work (stocking OSB plywood for three hours until store close fucking BLOWS!), watched a syndicated "CSI: Miami" repeat (DAVID CARUSO YAY!), ate a crappy ramen cup, and started listening to some Peter Cetera (the World Falling Down album is BONKERS AWESOME) AND I may be drunk. Which is a great formula for reviews. Kinda thought it was close between Eversol and Cruz. Should be interesting to see the Zombie Black/Cruz pairing, and to see where Eversol and Black Tom and Harrison all go. WHAT?1 SHAELIN WON?! Did not see that coming. Honestly, I thought I was really uneven with my promos, esp. the last one (written in great haste on my phone in between work and department meeting). And of course the pattern of Shaelin wins, Gustav loses and vice versa continues (five years and several feds going!). Nice to see Dream and Izumi get the win. Want to mention that Hayden has been doing this way longer than I have. Guy's a fucking pro. I have had my share of turmoil with him but I will always give him his props. Most of the time, anyway. Here for sure. Now to see the promos between him and Lita! There couldn't possibly be any harshness between Amazing and Dream could there? Hope not. Speaking of, Steve may have lost but Manson is gonna get him a title sooner much rather than later. Too good not to. STELLAR match, and I won't lie, I went through reading that thinking Manson winning was the end result. I was wrong (as I usually am) but mad props to both Steve and Lita there. Someone is getting a PM with my thoughts (positive, no worry) about a different match. MY GAWD, WHO COULD POSSIBLY BEAT SAKURA?! All humor aside, Good work, all. The Trials should be interesting. And the seeming inevitable happens. Mad Dawg had a great run as champ. Should be interesting to see who steps up to the plate to face Gray, now. Well, on to Deadlock. |

I just wanted to give kudos to everyone who participated in B&F. From the role-plays, to to the story lines, to the judging, the writing, the running of the fed and the graphics. Every single one of you are so important to the success of something like this coming of so wonderfully. I know that you all work very hard and put in maximum effort here but it's also important to note how much you all have your hearts in it. I think that's what has kept FIW going through all these years. Great folks, with big hearts and total effort. Plus talent. LOTS and LOTS of talent! I really enjoyed reading the show and I wanted to offer a big grats to not only the winners, but to you all. Brilliant stuff going on here and it keeps getting better. You are all awesome! I want to thank Craig, and all of you, for trusting me enough and having the respect for me to let me help out. I totally enjoy it and it gives me a chance to still be a part of things here. I do miss being here on a more regular basis, but to be honest the evolution of everyone here is WAY above what I would be capable of. Still, I love you all, and I am humbled to be able to contribute in any way ![]() Again, great job gang. You are all extraordinary people. |

Just a few quick notes as I've just finished reading the show: The promos by Orion were good and I'm very intrigued as to what is about to happen with Cody. I've always liked the character and always want more Cody in my life. Is anyone ever going to be able to beat Sakura and the Sharks? They're both so good and it's hard to every imagine them losing. The Hellcats match itself was great. It showcased all of the women really well and keeps the Helena and Brittany rivalry going. Eversol's new obsession with Brittany and the fact that she's hated by his teammate is going to be so interesting. The Dream is awesome and I love reading anything involving him. Shaelin winning was a surprise but considering how bad Kim had been messing with her she probably needed that win desperately. It also doesn't look like it's quite over just yet. Richlen vs Nick was a good match as well. Congrats to Nick. Richlen had a great reign and I'm sure he's going to keep ascending. Jack Jr. and Johnny Amazing might have been my favorite match. From the viscous attack by Jack, the Crew appearing and then Johnny still deciding to wrestle just the opening segment had me completely captivated. Then the match happened and it was an absolute barn-burner. An instant classic IMO and Johnny looked great. I wouldn't have wanted to decided a winner cause both Lita and Steve did a fantastic job this cycle. Jack Jr. will be a champion very soon. I was a little disappointed that Eversol didn't pick up the win but it looks like there's some plans for the tag titles that probably need to happen and neither of the competitors ended up looking weak with the interference by Zombie. I had a fantastic time this cycle RPing. From the co-RP between Eversol and Brittany to the solo stuff. It was great. I loved the RPs aimed at Cruz and Wight pushed me to do my best which is always appreciated. Marc had a hell of a reign and Mad Dawg was established as a big player in FIW during the run. I see a couple more reigns for Mad Dawg. Also it has been fun going back and forth with Marc in the FIW Twitter thread. I love the sports banter they use to insult one another. Big congrats to Matt on Darian becoming the Dual Crown Champion. We've all seen the potential the character has and he's finally fulfilled with the ultimate prize. It's going to be fun having Eversol interact with the champion again. ![]() Great job to everyone this week. Everyone seemed super excited to RP and the event reflected that. Great job to Craig and to everyone who wrote for the show and as always the graphics look amazing, Lita. |

This is definitely not how a PPV feedback thread should be, this is all positive! - Hellcats Showcase A second Olivia RP would have tipped this over the other way I feel. It was mentioned in judging that Olivia’s comments felt like they’d come from a traditional ‘debut’ promo but as she enters the next cycle, there’s plenty of opportunity for Olivia to develop and deliver her own style. - Orion Opening Address Orion’s statements basically mirror my own thoughts, if I’d have wrote as ‘Craig’ and not Orion, this is pretty much what I would have said and I thought that was apt for opening the PPV proper. With the Oracle Weekly stuff being heavily in-character, it was a nice idea to go a different way. Rob talked about the talent we have here and I echo his sentiments. - Championship Aspirations I don’t know where this match came from, honestly I think we had four guys spare but they were at different positions with different intentions. It did come down to Stephen J. Eversol and Jericho Cruz, it was so close I had to get a sixth opinion before coming to a final decision. Keep in mind that the roleplays from Mike Harrison and Adam with Black Tom were of a high quality, this was actually my favourite match. I don’t know where the Gunnar comment came from, I don’t normally do that sort of thing. - Crystal Blake Promo I like the follow up to the B & F Gathering thread, it flows and its important little moments are not lost because they can provide so much fuel for later. - Dream & Kira Izumi vs. Dos Gatitos Tough to judge, I’d love to see a second RP from Mun because similar to Olivia I think that would have tipped it over into his favour. What there is, I find to be extremely good to read and Energio Gatito has become one of my personal favourites. Dream continues to entertain and Kira has improved over the weeks. - Leather Strap Match The build up to this match has been a real highlight on ReVolt as we made our way to Blessed & Forsaken. What started as social media interaction, moved to the shows and then this match on PPV. Lita and myself had very different visions of the strap match itself until about yesterday, she had only seen the four corners version and I’d only seen the strap legal/pinfall and submission version. The latter played better into the feud with Shaelin wanting to destroy Kim with the strap, not conforming to a set of rules. Very well written, the two characters are very different and the match is written based on that, especially with Kim starting the match giving Shaelin the chance to back out. - Cody McGinnis Promo Great to have Terry back and in the game. Cody will now enter the rekindled FIW Trial Series, which probably only a few remember (Wight, Lita, Steve) from way back in the day. It was a big deal then, it was about somebody in the lower card stepping up to face a variety of opponents and that’s how it’ll be here. Really looking forward to it. - FIW World Tag Team Championship I never know whether to refer to it as a Championship or Championships. Reading the match, it feels very fast paced and that’s what you’d expect from these two teams. With Jericho Cruz winning a tag title shot earlier in the night that’s created an interesting situation going forward, especially as Jericho has that history with the Blonds/Black Tom. - Fighting Spirit Championship I’ve mentioned this earlier, not my best effort. I did want to put across how familiar they are with each other following their lengthy feud, which has been renewed in recent weeks. Richlen is a very well written character, it was mentioned that perhaps Gus focused more on Shaelin than Richlen, because of the high profile nature of Shaelin’s match. No shame in losing to Riot, who causes intrigue with every RP. - International Championship Awesome match by Steve, best of the night and stole the show. The start was so Jack Jr. The Manson Legacy is one of the best written characters because he’s so consistent and is just really an asshole. There are no redeeming qualities with Jack Jr. and that’s in complete contrast to Johnny Amazing, who has no unredeeming qualities (if that makes sense). I echo Other Steve’s thoughts, Jack Jr. has a strong future. - Xenia & CT Promo Just a short promo to break up the action. If there is one criticism I would level at this PPV, could have done with more promos. Usually Dai and Lita are good for one but it’s been a busy time lately. While I personally don’t look at promos in terms of judging, they do perform a valuable job progressing stories and sets people up for matches that could then earn rewards. - Hellcats Championship Wight asked why I do this to myself with such difficult judging decisions and the answer is simply that I think it’ll be fun to write and fun to roleplay in. There were three different winners named in judging but Sakura earned the majority. I hope everybody feels they got something out of it and enjoyed their moment in the spotlight. Sakura continues to dominate, which is testament to Dai’s quality. - Dual Crown Championship Mad Dawg’s reign certainly since I have been GM & booker has been really enjoyable for me in terms of having that standard bearer to point to and say, he’s our top guy. I don’t take the decision to approve to change any champion lightly and this time Darian was so on point that the switch was made. I’d like to thank Marc for his efforts as Dual Crown Champion, I think there’s a future coming for Mad Dawg where it’s breaking new ground for him regaining what he’s lost. In one sense it worked out really well because up to that point it hadn’t been a great night for the Coulter Crew but that was all wiped out with winning the big one. Some little moments I love writing, like the rope breaking in the tag match and Kim joining in the cover on Mad Dawg. Would she have been Dual Crown Champion? Couple of extras I’ll throw in here: DeadlockeD Series - I had this in mind if Sakura retained because I felt it wise to just take a step back and establish the next challenger, bearing in mind how awesome Dai has been with Sakura’s reign. I’ll be honest and say that I mentioned it once and it didn’t go over well. I’ve persevered with it because I think it could open up new stories for all involved, whatever that may be for the different characters involved. You can tell how unsure I was if Sakura would retain because I had to put that FIW.com post together last night to go with the new ReVolt card. It won’t just be straight up singles matches, I’m thinking of a tag match or different things in there too so it should be interesting, introducing different dynamics such as a potential Marilyn & Crystal team with the Courtney interaction. We also do need those Gathering awards. The Future/Storylines - Steve asked yesterday about plans in mind for his character and I need to reply to that PM now with the PPV posted. I always do have a basic plan in mind for next PPV cycle but it has to be flexible and often change completely. Anybody who saw the original card for B & F following Summer of Sin can attest to how much it changes. Mostly for the better. For somebody like Jack Jr., I needed to have four or five potential plans. If he wins the IC, he goes one way. If he loses, he goes that way but if he loses and Darian wins, he goes another. If Darian wins and so does Eversol, that’s something different entirely. What I’m getting to (eventually) is that if you want to have that discussion, get in touch. I always pick up PM’s and reply within what I consider good time. Some like to be surprised and some never get in touch, I’ll use Mun as an example, don’t think I’ve ever heard from him. Somebody like Lita is very involved with ‘I want this match’ or ‘I want to go this direction’ (or words to that effect). The ideas and storylines for the majority, come from you all already. Marc wanted a solid feud over the Dual Crown and would need a dastardly heel to get the best out of Mad Dawg, Nick Riot vs. Richlen at RATC tore the house down, Brittany and Helena naturally gravitate towards each other. And some things I disagree on but don’t limit what happens, I felt that Kris Hansel vs. Jericho Cruz was a better matchup than Black Tom vs. Jericho Cruz for example but doesn’t mean anybody’s wrong about that. I have a basic idea where we’ll be at Deadlock so if you want a chat, hit me up. Just as a last added note, if you have ideas about the presentation of the board or graphics or weekly segments, put them out there. No idea is a bad one, some might not be possible but always worth an ask. Steve has suggested a place for stables on the roster page for example, no reason we can’t do that. |

I've really only had a chance to skim through the show, so I really don't have a lot to say in regards to matches outside my own. Though I have skimmed enough to know who all the winners are and to extend congratulations to all those that came out victorious, especially our two new champions. This was a very tough show to judge. There were even some matches I changed my vote on several times before sending off to Craig. In regards to the International championship match. Truthfully it took me so long to RP for this because I was having a tough time mentally and just couldn't think of anything to write. Finally by this past weekend that started to wear off but even with what I was writing I felt like I might have been spinning wheels. In regards to the match itself, Craig had come to me with a couple ideas. One of which was Jack beating Johnny so bad that he'd have to be stretchered out stopping the match. This leading to Jack flipping out, attacking the stretchered Johnny and leading to the eventual match restart. This one I knew was gold but felt like it needed some tweaking. That is why I took it the way I did with the prematch attack and continued with Jack and the I do have to say that when I finally found out the result of the match it did take a little out of me but decided I needed to push through and give this feud the match it truly deserved. In the end, yeah it sucked I didn't win but I think both myself and Jack can recover from it and also I hope this isn't the last Jack and Johnny will ever see from each other. Almost forgot.... HUGE thanks to Craig who wrote a lot of this PPV on his own. With that I'd like to say that people should step up and write matches. I can't speak for Craig but I know that it a lot of writing for one person to take on every week and even more so at a PPV where the matches are more lengthy. One area I think we should see more help from is those with multiple characters. Having several characters adds more work on Craig having to book and write each week. Taking on a match every now and again only lessens that load for him. I guess what I'm trying to say is....let's not burn out, Craig. He's doing a tremendous job and we should all be willing to lend a helping hand from time to time. DeadlockeD Hellcat Series With the emphasis on the D's does that make it the Double D Hellcat Series? I just couldn't help myself.

Hard to find the words for this show. Absolutely amazing. Blessed & Forsaken definitely had a big feel/aura around it and it delivered tenfold. The stories were incredibly well handled going into the show and the writers knocked it out of the park. Special thanks to the match writers for doing what they do! I meant to pick one up but ended up getting wrapped up in my job search as well as recording. Excuses aside, sorry. When the show first went up, I was spending the night at a friend's so all I was able to do was look at it on my phone. I think I missed a match or two, going back to read those now, but I was super curious to see how things would play out for everyone. As a few have already said, Eversol/Cruz was an extremely tough call. I love all four of the characters that were involved with that match. With that said, I'll be interested in seeing what plays out for each member after the loss as well as Cruz with his opportunity. Also, Zombie Black. Sppppeeeeaking of returns... A warm welcome back to Pain/Cody! Don't fully understand the concept of the FIW Trial Series... I mean, I do but I don't? Either way, I sincerely hope Cody's successful in his return and earns the mystery opportunity. Still love Orion, both in the opening segment and the segment with Cody. Kim and Shaelin's match was nicely done. Just the right amount of brutal. Both appeared vicious and maybe just a bit out of their minds. Kim trying to get out of her match was hilarious, as was Shaelin's response to her proposal. Congrats to Riot on his title victory. Richlen's tough to beat, I know that firsthand. I'm sure he'll have plenty of good opportunities moving forward. Similar to the overall PPV, I don't have good enough words to describe Jack Manson Jr.'s feud with Johnny Amazing. The start of the match was perfect, as was the match itself. There's something to be said about the consistency of those two characters but... I'm not eloquent enough to say it myself. Something something, fight forever chant? Please fight forever? As long as Jack doesn't kill Johnny before any match starts... Then yes, please fight forever. Hellcats match was great! I feel like that division in particular has had some really strong stories as of late. I feel like I've said that before. Maybe the division is just really incredible all the time. Sakura's another extremely consistent quality character. But... I have a theory regarding why Sakura doesn't lose. Two words. Too. Wiggly. The main event was incredibly emotional for me. I know that might sound weird but... I saw it as a big match for myself as a writer (because it was) and I wasn't really anticipating a win. Thought it was pretty even, likely in the advantage of Mad Dawg, and I was shocked that I had beaten Marc. A big thank you to him for putting up such good stuff and pushing me to my limits. He had a hell of a reign, hopefully something that I can come close to. The match was wonderfully written and I love how Darian had to use EVERYTHING he possibly could, including actual physical help from Kim. I would like to think that if that pin off the Rocket Launcher was successful, Kim would've become the DC. At the very least, it'd be interesting. Huge props to Craig once again for taking on such a heavy workload. Couldn't have such a beautiful thing without him! Lookin' forward to Deadlock. |

Meant to get on the past couple days but so much going on I hadn't really gotten the opportunity. First of all just wanted to congratulate Matt for winning the DC. Well deserved is really the best way I can sum it all up. He's had a hell of a lot of growth with Darian over the past year and a half and to see it all culminate with the DC is pretty cool. Bittersweet because that means my own reign has to come to an end, but to be honest I made it through two PPV's before that where I didn't expect to win, so I can only be thankful that I got to stay on top as long as I have. Because I truly am thankful for everyone that had my back through the good and the bad (and the TwitterGate), definitely know I wouldn't have made it this far without your support. Only regret I really have was not getting a good chance to turn heel during the run. Anyways, the rest of the show was incredible, Amazing Vs. JMj was absolutely brutal and it was real fun seeing Kim get her just deserves from Shaelin. Was a little shocked that Eversol didn't pick up the win, just a little though because the Cruz stuff was incredible so it was more or less just wishful thinking of an Eversol/Mad Dawg DC Match at the time. Also impressed that Sakura retained, she had some rough competition taking on five really talented challengers. Main event was incredible and if Mad Dawg was gonna go down, that was certainly the way I wanted it. Everyone looked great in that match and no one really lost anything. Darian and Kim got themselves a ton of heat by showing just how far they'll go to capture the DC, Darian showed he could go by surviving through some big spots and Mad Dawg came out with the short end end of the stick but it took everything to put him down. And to pull all of that off is remarkable so I have to give a ton of props to Craig for putting it together like that. Thank you for an incredible match, sir. I also want to thank Matt for giving me one hell of a run for my money. YOU DESERVE IT [clap-clap clap-clap-clap] |
