Matches Rob, Nate, Wight, Craig Promos: Craig, Lita, Bleak, Bob Thank you to all the writers for their contributions, it is greatly appreciated. I've been preparing feedback posts in advance in previous weeks but this week got away from me so if this appears disjointed, it is. I have been battling a cold this week and as most of us chaps know, it's not a case of being sick, I was dying. I'm also the most intolerant and irritable person in the world when ill. No-show with Dream, which was a bit strange. There's a lot going on with the character so I thought that might come pretty easy and did prompt some changes to the card next week. I expected no-show from Adam, which is a sad state affairs and I'm leaving his characters off from next week. It was discussed last week about a heads up and I have seen him on the board but nothing has come through to me. Apologies to Tom, his opponent was switched the day after the card went up and I didn't inform him, no roleplays had yet been posted at the time so I didn't think much of it but he was unaware of the switch, sorry about that. The conscious effort to switch things up a little with new opponents was probably mixed in its success, some really good roleplays and other situations that didn't really work out. The thought of Hikou running around in boxers and title belt was somewhat odd, although I am drawn to the team I can't get the name right of - Ninja Blood Explosion : Complex? It's not NBC, I know that now. The Alpha Wolves upwards turn continues and I'm not at all surprised by that, in fact I predicted it pretty spot on and keeping them in the tag scene has been a good decision. The gauntlet and the writing of it was fun all around, I was probably justified in keeping Father & Son in longer but it made for a good story. The ATN vs. NBE match was a blast to write as well. The Jade Justice roleplays were a tad... off the wall? That might not be the right phrase. There was a lot of good stuff but the incest accusation was the only thing I took from it, it dominated the entire roleplays and was somewhat unnecessary. For somebody to just arrive and say something like that put me off. I recently watched a Robert Pattinson/Pierce Brosnan film I can't remember the name of and they threw in 9/11 at the end, which I found in poor taste and the Jade RP had me in a similar feeling. As one of the few that judge roleplays, I feel that's relevant to pass on. There is a lot in the relationship between Johnny and Brittany that could be discussed, especially in the current position with Eversol, you might for example expect Johnny to do a bit more to separate them, just as an example. Delighted to see so much storyline in the matches, it was another one of those 'interference heavy' shows but I'm going to put that down as a positive with all the angles happening and things do flow, so there weren't any that didn't make any sense. Looking forward to next week's show. Thoughts? |

I dropped the ball big-time this week. I failed to write any matches and completely spaced on a segment I OFFERED to write between Johnny and Caleb. I'm sorry, Craig. I did not have a cold, but I had things going on this week that really affected my output both in RPs and in the level of contribution I typically give to FIW. So, apologies all around. I hope everyone can forgive me. |

Wow. To Lita and Craig... I am beyond sorry that you have been going through bad times lately. Please forgive me for not noticing and I promise to try and be more receptive that you might be struggling. We love you both very much and I wish I would have done more for you. No need to feel bad or apologize for anything on your end. Very disappointed to see nothing from The Dream especially since I was writing the match. I have always been a big fan of the character and was looking forward to penning his battle with Alastor. I did the best I could and hope it came out okay. Again, if you can't rp for a character please let Craig or someone on the staff know. It makes it a bit easier on everyone. Especially if you are active on the boards it would be greatly appreciated. Yeah, the Jade Justice content of the rp for the match with Brittany left me more than a little cold. I would suggest, for anyone, that unless it evolves the storyline in an entertaining way that you might want to rethink it. Just trying to give constructive criticism. Nothing personal. Don't have any complaints about the show. Thanks to everyone that chipped in. Sincerely, Rob. |

My own apologies as well for stepping out of the match against Joe this past week. Though, perhaps it was a good thing. The past couple weeks proved incredibly busy for me with outside events taking precedence with a greater desire to keep up with Crystal. So, chances are, I would have given a very piss poor effort with Colin. One not even deserving of him being booked in the first place. Not that I did any better with Crystal. Aside from her date with Alejandro, she seemed a little all over the place to me. Which is funny to me now given it contrasts heavily with the even paced match she had. I don't mean that as an insult to the match as I thoroughly enjoyed it. The business of Kim coming down to watch Marilyn's performance in the match personally was a nice touch. I watched Fury Road a few weeks back so her reaction at the end sort of reminded me of Immortan Joe's when he watched Nux fail his own task. I had completely forgotten Crystal's Bombs Away starts with a bearhug so it was quite humorous picturing that scene. Poor Marilyn. lol

Ok, well it looks like I'm not the only that had things going on this week. Like Craig, I came down with a brutal cold that left me light headed for the better part of the cycle. When I finally got to RP, I felt like my efforts weren't up to par with what I usually put out. Then even during the RP I did with Nate, I felt like it was sort of hit or miss. Hopefully things will rebound for all of us this coming week. Full feedback to come. |

Add me to the list of people who had an off week this week. I wasn't sick like Craig or Bleak, but I did have a few things going on late in the cycle that put a damper on my output. I did manage to get a few things up, but I don't think it turned out as well as it could have. Here's hoping the next cycle will work out better all around. I'm in the midst of reading the show now, so feedback will come soon. |

Probably could have done better with my stuff this week but I got hit with an idea and didn't want to let it go. Oh well. Turned out for the best. And add me to the list of those who wasn't exactly thrilled about Jade's first promo. Even heels (I assume she's a heel?) should have their limits, and that felt like it was there solely for the purpose of shock value. |

I thought it was a great show! I loved the promo with the Coulter Crew and the dream. I thought I knew where it was going, and I did, and it was awesome! I thought the matches were all well-written and everything was really interesting to watch-- er... read. I really liked the confrontation between Joe Stanton and Nathaniel. I don't know if he was being earnest or not, but I appreciated Nathaniel's bit especially. I like how Joe's been acting since he got back. I wanna see where this turns out. WELP. Storm's going crazy so I'm shutting my computer off. Sorry to cut this short. I also had shit going on this week, funerals and the last bit of sickness, etc. etc. I love you guys. The end. EDIT: I mark for ham sandwich references. |

Eh, all I did was fuck my back over when I decided to block a hug attempt from an ex-co-worker by lifting him into a fireman's carry. If he actually weighs 210 I'll be surprised, but still, I got that fat boy strength (for now, anyway). |

I'll be honest, the deadline totally slipped from me. I thought I had one more day to get a Dream promo and do a bit more with Wighty and Dai, only to look in horror as I saw the deadline was up. That's completely on me, and I promise it won't happen again. In lighter news, I absolutely adored the opening segment. I thought The Dream would make an appearance next week, but seeing I play out it makes more sense for him to be out there. The second he saw Eversol about to do the San thing he did last week, he had to get out there. Masterful stuff. Congrats to Leu on the victory this week. I hope Crystal goes far in the Trial Series. |

Another great show. I was able to understand the ending of Jade's match better this time than before as last time it wasn't clear who got the "Blonde Ambition". So that's why I had assumed Jade did. My bad lol. About the incest thing, it is something that actually seemed legit as siblings the characters Brittany and Johnny are very close based on all the roleplays I read (I went back 6 months). And yes, it was also a bit of "shock value" and plus the new Jade is VERY outspoken and sometimes some wild sh*t will come out. But I'm also really liking the Freakshow character and I've always had respect for the Nathaniel Alexander character as I've seen him around for quite a while. Just know anything I say IN CHARACTER is not how I feel OOC. In some ways I am like Jade but attitude and behavior wise, quite the opposite. I also LOVE constructive criticism and advice, so if you ever have any you can direct it to my inbox here. |

Okay, I promised some proper feedback so here we go: Even though my RP's were more or less lacking, I did enjoy writing that opening segment with Lita. I was a little worried that it wouldn't hold up to last week's but I'm glad to see that people enjoyed it. It definitely needed to be different than the previous week, so I'm glad that we went in that direction. Dream definitely needed to make the save there and Eversol got to play a chicken-shit heel for a bit which was fun to write. I like the Casey Sunn character and especially her gimmick. I see good things from her in the future. I can't wait to see what her interactions with the rest of the Hellcats brings. It should be fun. I have no idea what is going to happen now with Rob Garcia and Alastor but I'm definitely intrigued by it. Losing to the Dragon is unexpected but it's pretty awesome if they're going to keep working the angle between Rob and Alastor. I hope we get to see that date between Cruz, Harley and Alejandro. Should be a good read. Cruz as the purple robes guy was a cool little detail. Even though Harley wasn't successful in his first match, I like the dynamic between he and Jericho and can't wait to see what else is in store for them. I've been a fan of Cruz and am glad to see he's going to be sticking around. Congrats to Alpha Wolves on their second win in a row. I really like what Sticky has been doing with the team as of late. I hated seeing Rich and Shaelin losing so I'm glad to see the characters, especially Shaelin developing the way that they have been and getting some much-needed wins. The match between Cyrstal and Marilyn was super hard to call in judging this week as I thought that both Leuci and Hayden did phenomenal jobs with their characters. In the end, I'm glad to see Crystal get the win and continue to get closer and closer to that title shot. But her and Marilyn's development as of late has been great to read. Both characters are definitely going places. It is unfortunate that Hayden let the deadline sneak up on him and got no RP from Dream. But hell, we've all been guilty of that at some point. I think it was a nice win for Alastor there that can just be blamed on Dream being distraught how Eversol attacked one of his fans. I like the promo between Nathaniel and Joe. It was bound to happen that one day they'd meet and talk about them each having history with Kim. I'd love to see a long-term feud centering around Kim between these two characters at some point. Really cool to see Brittany get a win again especially heading into the title match next week. I think the Jade RPs had some good content in there, especially the part about "beating the pretty" off of Brittany. The incest accusations were a little much but I feel they were just all over the place a bit. The character wanted to be a "family person" while still trying to be someone with a sharp tongue. Maybe if the character focused on how they hated Brittany for being a barbie or something and using the "beating the pretty" off of her as the focal point then the family aspect could've still worked. I like seeing that Caleb was better in the ring than Nathaniel imagined he would be. I thought it was definitely important to see Caleb get some good offense in, especially against an arrogant prick like Nathaniel and then him having to resort to attacking Caleb after the match had been won painted the character as a scrappy baby face. The match between Sakura and Xenia was really cool. Just seeing them so competitive just for it to come so close. I liked the idea of Mercedes being involved in that decision because of the history between her and Sakura. That was an awesome little detail. Absolutely loved the male fillys or Colts causing Harley to blush. I like the idea of Freakshow using both the girls and boys with the horse masks depending on the situation. What in the world is going on between Alejandro and Crystal? Just want to say how much I've been enjoying Ninja Blood Explosion: Complex. They have such an awesome dynamic between them. I really enjoyed the RP where they were hung over as fuck. Of course Albanian Terror is a great team in their own right at being just a brute force but I love NBE a lot thus far. That main event was awesome just seeing everything devolve into chaos. The way Jack Jr. and Eversol were fighting one another definitely gave the feel of a grudge match and then the way Nathaniel and Johnny came out and added to the segment was awesome. I love the little stare-down between Johnny and Jack Jr. The appearance by Susan and then the announcement about Kim picking Johnny's opponent was awesome. I had zero idea that was going to happen. It's going to provide some awesome RPs involving Kim considering the wrestlers that she manages. Great show. Good job, everyone. |

COMPLEX is in capitals, but yeah. I felt Hikou losing his trousers was an important little detail to move the previous night's rampage from Friday Night with Ninja Blood into the realm of Title Celebration Madness. Made sense in my head. It's probably not going to be a regular thing. As to the bit with Hayden, yeah. Sometimes that kinda thing happens when you've got people over three different timezones. Would anyone mind if we brought the thread back up to finish it off? Show feedback to come when I cast a more awake eye over it, but everything seemed good. |

Do want to add I really enjoyed the date between Alejandro and Crystal. It was something different as it wasn't match centric. Just...a date. Even though Crystal felt a little uncertain about it afterward. lol That said, the note dropoff segment was a nice touch to continue it along. Especially with the struggling prince.

This whole bad week club is getting big in nWo proportions and I too am one of the members. I wasn't sick but some pretty serious family shit popped up early in the week. I PM'd Craig telling him I probably wouldn't be RPing but my mind just wouldn't let me not. I think part of that was just having something to take my mind off what was going on at home. Though I do feel like what I put up was utter shit. I had so much more going on in my head but it was all over the place and I couldn't just seem to get everything that I was thinking onto the computer screen. Haven't read the whole show yet but what I have read was top notch. Thank you to Craig, writers, and all involved in getting the show up on time. I really feel like I'm struggling with all of my characters right now, but even more so the ATN. If anyone has any sort of feedback for me that would be great. I think might help to have some outsider perspective on what I'm doing with my characters. |

I guess I got a t-shirt too. I had a number of things going on this week myself including having to replace a debit card from a stolen (then found) wallet, some personal stuff and a random Sneaky Hate Spiral which kept me in bed all day, which is why I puked up something before deadline hit, that was DECENT at least, kept me from no showing and moved the storyline forward. Appreciate the reward by getting to eliminate someone. Sticky definitely deserved the win, he has been clicking with the Wolves recently. |

I really like these opening segments with Eversol “defending” his FSC title and using random fans to do it. I loved the one from the previous week where the entire Crew got in the mix since they’re all FSC champions according to the FIW_Official twitter account. Lol. This one was equally as great and seeing The Dream actually come out and try to confront Stephen Eversol was awesome. In the commentary for the Casey/LaTonya match, I saw Jonathan Hitchen mention that Casey had spoken with Anna Bowie about the match and being inspired by Brittany. I was a bit confused because apparently, I’d missed that RP. Not sure how, but I did. So, I went back to read it and I thought it was great. Definitely can’t wait to see what’s to come for Casey Sunn. I like the way the matches with Rob Garcia against Dragon have been handled including this one. It’ll be interesting to see how Rob responds to this loss after being distracted. I like the Rob Garcia character, so I’m eager to see what’s next for him. Definitely looking forward to seeing the date segment between Principe and Jericho & Harley. I can only imagine how that’ll turn out. Like Bleak said, it should be a good read for sure. Very quick match between Freakshow and Harley. I liked the bit with the Purple Robed Guy coming down and attacking Freakshow and then the reveal that it was Jericho. Definitely interested to see what happens between he and Harley after that. Seeing Freakshow using the ref bump for an advantage was a nice touch as well. I’m eager to see what comes out of that whole thing as well. The tag gauntlet was a lot of fun to read with so much action going on back-to-back. I couldn’t agree more that Sticky has done a great job with the Wolves so it’s no surprise they picked up the win. Clay jumping in and helping to eliminate Badd Breed was a nice touch as well. Definitely interested to see how the Wolves respond to that given their hatred for the Coulter Crew. Joe Stanton made quick work of Sang-Hyun Lee. This match kind of reminded me of when 1-2-3 Kid started in WWE (WWF at the time) and he was going up against Razor Ramon except in reverse since Sang-Hyun Lee was the one who got beat. I’m looking forward to seeing what comes out of this match, especially with Joe Stanton. The Crystal/Marilyn match didn’t come to mind as easily as the Brittany/Jade match. The latter came together easily primarily because of the stark contrast between the heel Jade and the babyface Brittany. But with Crystal and Marilyn both being babyfaces and friends to boot, I had to change it up a bit in contrast to Brittany/Jade. I still liked that I was able to incorporate reasons for both Crystal and Marilyn to give it their all and give them separate reasons for wanting to win. Glad Crys liked what I wrote, hopefully Hayden feels the same. Sucks there was no Dream RP’s this cycle. It would have been cool to see how the character would react to someone like Alastor. Huge win for the latter of the two. I really like the character, I think Seph’s doing a great job with him so far. Definitely eager to see what he can do with this win against The Dream. The inclusion of Rob Garcia at the end was a nice touch as well. Nir approached me with the idea for the Joe Stanton/Nathaniel Alexander promo. When he came to me with it, he said it’d serve as a vehicle for Alexander to be a prick. I feel that was accomplished to a degree with Nathaniel’s jab that Joe couldn’t take anything from him even if he wanted. I definitely liked the end result overall. When Joe walked away from Nathaniel after having said he’s not out to steal Kim away from him, I thought it best to have him left wondering what exactly he is after, since they didn’t get into that. The Brittany/Jade match came together really easily in my head just based on the characters alone, and once the RP’s went up, it pretty much cemented what I’d had in mind for it. I tried to show intensity from Jade while still showing Brittany unafraid and proving to Jade she can hold her own. Hopefully Lita and Jade both like what I wrote. The Alexander/Caleb match was absolutely awesome. I struggled hardcore with coming up with RP’s and just content in general for this cycle, but I liked what came of it in this match. The way Caleb was shown as holding his own against the bigger man in Nathaniel was perfect and having Nathaniel punctuate his victory with a second Game Changer was a nice touch and definitely something Nathaniel would do just to prove a point and maybe as a bit of an ego boost knowing Caleb almost showed him up. Lol. Sakura vs. Xenia is another match similar to Dream/Alastor where, if it were real and you have an established star in Sakura against a somewhat new face (at least in comparison), no matter what the outcome, you’re sure to be impressed by it. I certainly was. The very slight contrast in styles was great to see and I think this match definitely cemented Xenia as a major threat if she wasn’t considered as such already. The aftermath was a nice touch as well. The visual of Harley dancing with the “Colts” that Freakshow brought out during the Johnny/Jericho match legitimately made me laugh out loud. Lol. The match itself was awesome and I liked the fast pace of it all almost from the beginning. It’ll be interesting to see how all parties involved react to the victory for Johnny after the distraction by Freakshow. I thought the Principe Alejandro segment was really intriguing. I liked the way everything built up starting with his nervous demeanor and then building to him standing at the door and finally ending with just the visual of the sign on the door. That was really well-written and I’m definitely looking forward to seeing where that goes. I completely agree with Bleak; the NBE has been awesome as of late, so it's no surprise they're tag champs right now. The match against ATN was awesome and I think both teams came out looking really good. Steve, I personally don't see anything wrong as far as what you've been doing with ATN. I'm a big fan of theirs and Frank Manson and I have been from the beginning. If I had any advice, I'd definitely give it, but I think what you've been doing has been really good. Sorry that's not much help. I loved everything about the main event. The match itself started out great and then the scuffle in the back leading to Nathaniel interfering to help Stephen was a nice touch as well. I'm definitely interested to see what happens between Frank and Jack Manson and the aftermath with the announcement of Kim Coulter making the decision for who will face Johnny was definitely intriguing. Great show all around everybody! Looking forward to the next. |

I liked Steve's post in support of Steve, and then I was like... "wait, what if Steve thinks I'm glad he was miserable?" I'm not. Steve is nice, he does not need to be miserable. As for advice, I'm afraid I don't have any. I get what you're feeling about your work. I wouldn't go as far as you did, but we are our own worst critics. I wouldn't be running these characters myself, certainly not in the same way you run them, so it's hard for me to say "oh, you should be doing this". It's kind of a complicated tale that's also pretty insular. That might be the biggest issue; it's a story about your characters that doesn't involve but one or two other people... but that's the problem with most of the roster, myself included so don't feel any type of way about that. If time management and life issues are a problem I'm always an advocate of trimming down your personal roster. Finish out your storylines first, obvs, but then reduce it to who you have the most fun writing and who has the most potential to help you achieve your goals in FIW. The extra time to devote to a single wrestler means that instead of writing one promo for two dudes, you can write two promos for one dude on weeks like this. Y'know? Hope that helps. |

I really appreciate everyone who pitched in this week for the show. As I mentioned earlier, I really didn't bring what I think is expected for me when it comes to helping Craig with the show. I was really relieved to see so much help in the writing department. A special thanks to Bleak for basically writing the entire opening segment for me. I totally didn't have it in me to write it this week and he took it without hesitation and I really appreciate that. And it was incredible! I'm glad to see it getting such great feedback. Brittany's match was written really well and I appreciate the attention to her character in it. RPing against Jade was interesting, to say the least. I feel like Brittany edged a bit out of her goody-too-shoes role in the RPs, but with Jade being so controversially heel in her RPs, I'm not sure if it really came across. The Brick Sharks are progress wonderfully after their split. I really had fun just being stupid with Harley this week. And having him dance with the Colts was really awesome. I could totally picture it in my head. Caleb looking good against Nathaniel Alexander was incredible. I love that he was able to look capable, but still come up short. It really drives the point home that he's a tag team wrestler, that's all he knows so far. Great stuff this week. Johnny's stuff on the show was exceptionally well-written. I wish I hadn't screwed up on the Johnny/Caleb promo I promised to do. That would have just giving it all a little extra. I had fun RPing against Jericho, to be completely honest. I had nothing to say about Jericho, but I was happy with THAT being what Johnny had to say. And then the quickie response I came up with for Jericho just popped into my head and I really like that gimmick piece popping back up for Johnny. He's a positive guy. That's his thing. He doesn't always get to show it, though. His involvement in the main-event was incredible and I loved the tease of Johnny/Jack Jr. coming face to face again. They have so much unresolved heat between them. Great job everyone with the show and the RPs going into it. You guys are all doing amazing, even if some of you had an off-week. ![]() EDIT: Forgot to mention that I'm in love with Rob Garcia.

Feedback time! I like the cowardly pompousness of these Crew vs Random Fan matches. It makes them so hateable in such a storyline building way. I especially love that The Dream came out to call them on it this week though. I dig Casey Sunn as a babyface. She's a fun addition to the roster. I also didn't know that Latoya had a signature twerk... And then Dragon got a win! But seriously, Robb is going to have to fight from behind here, and I look forward to him clawing his way back through the ranks to become the hardcore dude. I loved Jericho coming out in a purple robe to disrupt Freakshow's match. When Craig pitched that to me, I was super stoked. Same with the Colts coming out during Jerico's match to distract Harley. The gauntlet was a good read. I'm glad to see the Wolves get some hype, and it kept the Kreugers and the Badd Breed and Los Templarios pretty hype too. It was a good way to highlight a lot of teams and show that there's a lot of talent in the tag division right now. Actually, the tag division in general is pretty strong right now. I really wish we had more...I dunno...more on Sang, because I think that factored into the Joe vs Sang match being kinda one sided. Crystal vs. Marilyn was pretty fun. They're both up and comers, and this match highlighted why. Working with Leucippides and Crystal this week was a blast, and I'm stoked for us to continue working our fun little angle with Crystal and Principe Alejandro. She's on the rise, and I'm very interested to see what is going on between Kim and Marilyn. Sad about the Dream no show, but it seems like everyone had a crap week. Alastor is shaping up to be a contender, and I'm interested to see his rise. The Joe vs. Nate thing was cool. Its good build in that storyline. Brittany vs. Jade was a good match. I also feel the distaste for some of the accusations in the roleplays this week, mostly because that kind of wild and baseless in character speculation makes the person making it seem desparate. I remember a similar moment of distaste when I first joined and Jack Manson Jr. accused Mad Dog of having AIDS (didn't voice it then because I was new and trying to feel my way around), but it just comes out of left field and is shocking for all the wrong reasons. The Caleb vs Nate match was interesting build in those arcs. Not a lot to say about it. Sakura vs. Xenia was awesome. I've been saying for a while that Xenia should be fighting Sakura and getting over, and I was stoked to see this match be awesome and put them both over. I'm actually a little shocked to see another Sakura vs. Brittney title match this coming week instead of a Xenia Sakura title match/rematch. Xenia should be getting a title shot here soon IMHO. NBE is amazing. I love the roleplays Wight and Dai are doing for them, and laugh every time. ATN is lacking a bit of focus from what I've seen. I want to see what makes them different from their playbys. What is making them tick? What are their personality traits or hobbies or lives like? The main event was great as usual. We have strong talents, good roleplays back and forth, and it shows in the match. I look forward to seeing who Kim names the new contender. All in all, great show as usual. Much thanks to our writers, because it's a lot of work, and I'm grateful you all do it. |

Just because Sakura kicks Brittany's ass for a living (being a pro wrestler is actually Sakura's side-job, no lie) doesn't mean Brittany doesn't deserve a rematch, damn you! Though, maybe she really doesn't. |

Poor Marilyn. lol
