Thank you to all who wrote and contributed, as expected we did go over my deadline but not too much. I did prepare this feedback in advance and the new card as well. The new card might look a little weird to one or two, I'll contact them tomorrow to explain. Will reports that he didn’t get the results. I pretty much send them out around 8 hours after deadline, one of the few areas I profit for being UK time. If this happens, rule of thumb, get in touch. PreVolt: Wight, Rob, Craig & Jes. New Rising Champion, thank you to Bob for his dignity over that. We’ve started the best of five series, Caleb Claudel had his story furthered, win for Colin Stiles and welcome to the two new Hellcats. PPV Opening: Craig. Not sure why this is on the list, except that if anybody has feedback for it, they’d prefer music or whatever, do let me know. It’s never been mentioned before to my knowledge (maybe the Orion in the ring one was) so feel free to tell me it sucks. Mercedes vs. Xenia: Wight. I really enjoyed this one, I think Wight did incredibly well writing the two characters with Mercedes’ never-say-die attitude and Xenia’s ruthlessness. Originally my plan was to have Xenia ‘involved’ with Crystal and Sakura, so while Dai was unfortunately unavailable, it affected this match more than the one I intended it to. That was quite an interesting dynamic. Freakshow Promo: Bob. I love continuity, in the first match Wight included the shoulder injury and following up from PreVolt this was very pleasing to see. Freakshow vs. Jericho: Nate. Firstly, this obviously shows the ascension of Freakshow with the clean win over Jericho, who has many OOC fans. Secondly, it’s very well written. Nate is somebody I can rely on and he sends updates in how things are going, very meticulous in his planning. Freakshow has outgrown the Rising Championship and I look forward to seeing him move on, wherever that may be. Caleb Promo: Lita. More continuity, I like the element of another person who could find himself against Jack Manson Jr. The Kim and Nathaniel portion didn’t need dialogue, it was done perfectly. Jade vs. Marilyn: Bleak. Bleak got this one in very early, thanks to him. I feel that of all characters, I’ve let Marilyn down the most. The opportunities have been few and far between, but they usually coincide with a busy period for Hayden. With Jade, my biggest problem is that the dialogue doesn’t flow as well as others do. I find that unless you’re cutting a really serious promo, the large chunks need cutting down because that’s how people talk. Does that make sense? It’s a tad difficult for me to translate her into a living person based on how she talks and small adaptions in the roleplays would go far to fix that, a minor effort. I quite enjoyed the ‘rocket surgery’ quip more than I should have. Suzanne Promo: Craig. Suzanne is a weird character in that she’s not mine, but at the same time as GM is very much mine. Not that I’d consider replacing her. Suzanne being involved in the Hellcats is a really good role for her and I have to say, this promo was fun to write. Alpha Wolves vs. NBE-C: Jes. The first of two big disappointments this PPV. I did try to start something with Alpha Wolves and Clay but that spilled over into the press conference thread, which I hope people enjoyed. It was one of those group roleplays that wasn’t mandatory so those that don’t enjoy them didn’t have to get involved. Sticky is very deserving of success, I just would have obviously preferred the competition. As I said to Wight directly, the lack of a Rebel RP was more disappointing to me than Hikou or Sakura and he was gracious in replying without ripping my head off for that. We have a RATC upcoming, the tag titles will be defended there. Tokyo Mass Suicide Promo: Otaku. There’s a lot to happen with Otaku’s trio and this looks to be the start of it. Just take your time over promos, that will eliminate some grammar issues and spaces after punctuation. It just makes it hard to read but as always, can’t fault the effort and enthusiasm. On another note, the stuff for Sang on PreVolt was pretty strong. Sakura vs. Crystal: Craig. Not a brilliant match, it’s hard without a RP from one side because there’s no backstory to play off. It was like that with Helena vs. Sakura. I understand that people could be disappointed by Dai’s no-show, I felt the same with Adam at the last PPV, but I’ll never be upset with anybody who has had a positive experience in their life affecting their participation. I can’t tell you how happy I am for Dai to have his teaching assistant work. Again, title will be defended at RATC. Jack Manson Jr. vs. Joe Stanton: Nir. Jack Jr. has kind of looked like the central character to a lot of stories lately and with the amount of effort Steve puts in dedicated to Jack Jr., that’s no surprise. One thing I would love him to do is have a look at some other characters and pen some ideas for them, I think a lot of other characters could benefit. Great to have Nir back and roleplaying, seamlessly fitted in and added to several different storyline elements. I have booked Dream and Joe next week as a team because I do want to see more interaction between them, which for one reason or another, hasn’t quite been possible. Team FIW Promo: Craig. Just a small thing I threw together, I had the dialogue but no avenue to use it, hence this little piece. Team FIW vs. Coulter Crew: Wight & Craig. Thank you to Wight for stepping in the last of last minutes to finish the match as I started it. Team work at its best, even if the bridge needs a touch up. Great fun to roleplay for, the old psychological element of ‘On The Couch With Clay’ was a blast. A team RP for the other side I think in all honesty would have tipped it because I (and others) thought Dream was back to his best and it was commented that Dream’s rp was the best of the window. Was a discussion about Holland or Williams to take the fall, I went with Keith purely because it was suggested that Keith could use it better as fuel for his doubts over his face turn. Delighted Kyle’s back, we seem to be hitting a big stride with quality roleplayers coming in or coming back. Johnny Promo: Lita. I wish I’d have used the Johnny Blank promo in the opening but it was referenced here, but he made a promo presence onto the PPV here and in the previous one I haven’t mentioned. I liked the recent version of Zombie Black (wasn’t around for him prior) so good to see him. Nathaniel Alexander vs. Johnny Amazing: Lita. So pleased Lita wrote this, it’s better than anything I could have come up with. I didn’t want a host of interference and I suggested quite a high score, which I think is rare for iron man matches. It’s brilliantly written, Nathaniel looks like an absolute beast and Johnny comes off as Amazing as ever. What stands out to me is how good the commentary is, I think there can be inconsistency with that across different writers (understandably - you can see the difference when I write and Wight does for example) but this is a really good example of Chip and Hitch playing off each other. I’m a big fan of the little moments, the lack of double count out and the referee restraining Nathaniel as they go to overtime. It’s an epic read and an epic match. Congratulations to both Nate and Lita. This PPV felt like an effort, which is as a PPV should. Got a little stressful towards the last few hours, I’ve mentioned before that there is a trade off between many writers contributing and not being able to keep a handle on incoming matches and a few writers struggling but ultimately taking that responsibility. It’s hard to judge it right, although I am extremely thankful for everybody’s efforts. The late stuff done by Jes, Lita and Wight have warmed my heart. Rise of a Legend felt special. I’ll take a minor credit for the booking (thanking you) but in the main that comes from roleplays and ideas that others suggest so the majority of it is from all of you. As always do get in touch with ideas or other comments. I’ve got quite a good handle from my perspective why results are the way they are so I’m happy talking those over PM. The new card is going up. I’m not COMPLETELY secure with where we are headed for the next PPV cycle. It’s fair to say that in the last week I’ve ripped up everything I had planned and started from scratch because some of those ideas absolutely sucked. I’m more content now but more ideas are always welcome. If we can’t do something immediately, it’s never forgotten so it might come during the next PPV cycle and head towards Summer of Sin. So please do leave your thoughts, feedback is welcome and anything that can be acted upon will be. |

Thanks to everyone who contributed to this wonderful pay-per-view. I have to say this is the one I have enjoyed most of all since I came back. Hard to say why, as I often have trouble pinpointing things, but it was a blast. I loved the beginning of the show. Seeing all the wrestlers over the years matched to the words. I think that was wonderful and it really set the table for me. It was actually pretty moving as well. Grats to all the new champions! I also want to throw in a special one Crystal's way. Crystal Blake... HELLCATS CHAMPION! I like the way that sounds out loud! I am very, very enthused for her and she has worked so very hard to earn it. I feel like it has been earned and I have always been a fan of the character and handler. I literally yelled "YES!" out loud when I saw the result. I ain't gonna lie. I hope this represents a LONG run with the title and more accolades to come!I enjoyed all the matches and I can see how everyone who wrote them really pushed to make them special. That also brings us to the main event... I cannot express how brilliant that was between Nate and Johnny. First, Zombie making a cameo just tickled me. That just primed me for something I was so looking forward to. The use of graphics with the text was fantastic. The two lengths those characters went to was phenomenal. It reminded me of the Austin-Rock match at WM 17 with both men throwing everything to the wind and leaving nothing in the ring. I could feel a real emotional pull with everything that happened. It was wild, brutal and a thing of beauty. At the end I was proud to be in a fed' where something so epic could be done. A masterpiece... Thank you all for being so great and making this ppv so memorable to me. You all are terrific people creatively and personally and I am humbled to be in your company. |

I haven't finished the ppv yet but from what i've skimmed and read through so far things are pretty cool.I like how all of the matches feel and how they all have that feeling, you know? That feeling of emotions running rampant and everyone putting in there hearts and souls to show the wrestling world that were here and that were amazing. Sorry about my grammar it's horrible i know. I get super excited and super hyped about things and ideas. Than i start to rush things over and stuff and i need to,No i will work on taking my time with things. slowly but surely i promise. Congrats to our new champions and i'm happy to see Rob Garcia get the rising title. I was really pulling for him or sang-hyun this week. Everyone seemed to really try hard this past week and half and that's awesome guys and gals. It really showed in the results and it's amazing. I hope with the stuff i have so far people who are paying attention to my story i'm working on are liking what it. I have huge plans to continue on and a huge pay off at the next ppv,Anarchy in the UK i think. There are some very interesting and cool things coming between my trio soon though,i will say that. I think this week i've found more my style and character for Sang-Hyun too. I'm surprised honestly that i beat badd breed this week but i'm not complaining there. Thank you all for letting my team get the 'w' to start this best of five off. Congrats to all the winners and again, this really is one heck of a ppv! |

There is something wrong with the messaging system on the board, then, because I just got the notification as I opened FIW to read ROAL right as the show went up, that the results were in. About an hour prior, after Wight texted me, I checked my inbox and had nothing. That's when he told me he and Craig were going to finish the match. This also was the case each time I popped in to RP or just read stuff through the cycle. I thought about reaching out but I remembered Craig and I discussed it previously and that he wanted me to wait on writing until the deadline passed, so that all the RPs could be counted and all the spot ideas could get figured out. So, I did that. I attended a concert Friday night and planned to spend this afternoon knocking out the match so I could have it done and to Craig within an hour or two. So, I guess I feel the need to apologize since I am generally getting the vibe that it was my fault that the six man did not come together. Generally feeling frustrated and a little disillusioned. Presently feeling like I just want to take a step back from the guts of the board for a couple days till I get over it, and just make sure I roleplay. |

It sounds more like technical shenanigans caused all the issues, my friend. I don't think anyone is holding that against you and certainly not blaming you. It just sounds like circumstances just kind of forced a hand and the result came out as it was. Please don't stay away too long from the boards. We love you and everything you contribute here is appreciated. |

PreVolt Show Sorry for the brief feedback on this, but I am so glad to see Rob Garcia as the Rising Champion! He is an incredible character and Jes writes him hilariously! Such a great moment for him to become champion and very deserving. I can't wait to see where Rob goes from here. Side-note: it was between Rob and Sang-Hyun for me. Exceptional work from MrOtaku on Sang-Hyun for this event. I want to see more this! Xenia vs. Mercedes Blackwell Incredible match and incredible return match for Mercedes in particular. I am very glad to have had Mercedes back on the roster to interact with. She's such a great character that Bleak RPs wonderfully. Her stuff with Brittany has always been so easy to write that it's practically effortless. Her stuff with Johnny is a different beast and often requires me to put more thought into it, but I love it all the same. I feel like she makes my characters better and more interesting people. As such, I am sad she lost. The RPs were certainly neck and neck, as I told Craig in my judging. I felt like this was the best women's match on the card when it came to the RPs offered up (and the action certainly highlighted that). There was a personal reason I went with Mercedes and I'm only saying this because the negative strike was against Xenia and I told Craig my reason already. I would have preferred to see Mercedes win her return, but I can't argue with the talent Craig has for writing Xenia resulting in the judges outnumbering me. Freakshow Promo Yay! Harley got on the show... sort of. Great piece from Freakshow. Beard has been one of the most committed writers since his arrival here in FIW and I feel like despite his characters being larger than life he's conveyed that a bit under the radar, so to speak. His characters are enjoyable and they're well-written, but they do it in a way that isn't annoying. Maybe that's why I have such a hard time taking Freakshow as a heel. Though, he is an asshole. I'm learning to hate him. Freakshow vs. Jericho Cruz Nate's writing has always been a stand-out in anything he does. The amount of time and energy he puts into his writing astounds me. I wish I were that committed to planning things. It's part of what makes Nathaniel one of my favorite characters. But when he puts that time and energy into writing for other characters, it's very commendable. He delivered a great match that really puts Freakshow on the map, I think. His Rising title reign was a great introduction to the character, but as Craig said he's ready for bigger and better things. This match foreshadows that incredibly well and unfortunately Jericho Cruz has to continue his bad day a little bit longer because of it. I really wish my interest in that character could be transferred to Wight in some way, because he is absolutely a joy to read. Rob Garcia Promo I LOL'd at "most smartest". Ugh! So awkward! I love Rob Garcia. I told Jes that he writes comedy so well, which is such a difficult task for people to pull off. I struggle with it terribly, but Jes does it in a way that looks effortless. This was certainly one of those moments and I was so happy to see Robby G on the PPV in some form. He's one of my favorites for sure. Jade Justice vs. Marilyn Lee Cross I gotta echo everything Craig said. I really like Marilyn, but feel like her opportunities and Hayden's ability to devote attention to her aren't lining up and that's terrible. Jade is a heel, something we are short of in the Hellcats Division, but it's hard to really get her as a character because while the content is there, it's presented in a hard-to-read kind of way. The blocks of speech really would shine if broken up with some great characterization through some subtle actions. Bleak has always shined at match writing. I hope this doesn't hurt his feelings, but once upon a time I felt like he was much better at writing matches than RPing. Clearly, that is not the case anymore as Bleak has come into his own as a writer across the board. But this match is a reminder of how he's always been above the bar when it comes to putting other characters over. Really good work here. Suzanne and Xenia Promo Damn. Wanted Xenia to go for the Hellcats title next show. Or even Xenia and Mercedes. World Tag Team Title Match Ninja Blood Explosion: COMPLEX vs. Alpha Wolves Bummed as all get-out that Dai and Wight didn't show with NBE for this event. They've been the fastest rising tag team since those adorable little nerds the Brick Sharks. However, I am not bummed that Alpha Wolves are the new Tag Team Champions. I felt like Sticky has done a MAJOR turnaround with these two characters since Nensai Senjou. Their focus remains a bit all over the place, but in a FOCUSED way. They haven't let go of the Coulter Crew blood feud (and they really shouldn't) but they don't let it take their focus off of advancing their careers. And they're entertaining to read! Really good stuff and very deserving of the Tag Team titles. I'm excited for them moving forward. Very happy to have Jes contributing to the match writing with this one. A good addition to the show and a huge help! TMS Promo Intrigued. I'm very intrigued as to what's going on with Yuki. As Craig said, though, take your time. Even if you want to jot these ideas down excitedly, that's fine. Just go back and clean it up after. Hellcats Championship Match Bisenshi Sakura vs. Crystal Blake Very bummed that Dai no-showed this match. Happy for him in life, but deeply disappointed that this is the result of Sakura reclaiming the championship from Brittany and defeating Helena in the same night. Sort of sucks all the wind out of the sails of the division, honestly, and I'm really disappointed that this is how Crystal gets her first title win. However, the effort of Crystal hasn't wavered over the course of her run in FIW and I hope she is happy to be Hellcats Champion any way that it's happened. Even with nothing from Sakura, Crystal didn't rest on her laurels and that's commendable. Also, you're welcome for Brittany cracking the armor of the unbeatable champ for you. LOLJohnny Amazing Promo Borrowed some more from the incredible Sakura. When I changed Johnny's font color (and logo color and attire accent color) from blue to pink in honor of Brittany being injured and taken out, I hadn't considered what it would look like if he and Brittany ever conversed again. When writing this, it occurred to me. I took a look and noticed they were different enough, but it just felt weird. So I thought of how great Sakura is. And how Johnny has recently introduced his Blank side and his Amazing side. So using the blue as Johnny Blank talking to his sister and clearly having doubts about tonight's match seemed too perfect to pass up; especially with the idea of him becoming Amazing again by the end of it. Hope it came across that way. Joe Stanton vs. Jack Manson Jr. I had so much fun writing the Kim Coulter promo before this match. She is such a fun character to put on the mic sometimes and I was glad to be able to do it for this event, and this match. Her history with these two characters is deep by this point and the idea that she would be out there to try and protect Joe (something she had a habit of trying to do in NGIW) was too good to pass up. The match itself was phenomenal. Nir has always been a generous writer both in how much he's willing to take on and how much he puts other people over. This was no exception and I dare say this was the sleeper match of the night. Incredible stuff. When it comes to results, I will say that I have been a Joe Stanton fan for a very long time. That said, I wanted Jack Manson Jr. to win. When this was booked, I wanted Jack Jr. to be the winner because of the effort Steve has been putting into the character and his story. I know how much it means to Steve to tell this story and I do adore the Jack Manson Jr. character. When the RPs settled, though, I couldn't argue with Joe. Nir had an answer for everything Steve put out and quite possibly it was time constraints that lost this one for Steve. Joe Stanton is a beast. Not physically (though, he's sexy as hell and the dude kicks so much ass!), but when it comes to RPing against him he is an absolute beast. I'm a bit sad Bleak didn't get any time to respond to Joe interrupting the dinner with Kim. That was awkward as heck. Lol. Team FIW vs. Coulter Crew Phenomenal match! A huge thanks to Craig and Wight for salvaging this one for the show. It was a huge match and the writing really captured that, along with the huge personalities literally ripping this match at the seams. One flub I noticed was Kim livid on the outside arguing with Orion. I changed it to Eversol since Kim isn't out there. Not sure who included that, but I'm sure it was done due to the rush to get this done. I loved Clay spearing Orion! That was the highlight of the match for me! Triple H sells stuff like that so well and so I could see Orion taking it fantastically. So happy that the Coulter Crew won. The Dream is one of my current favorites (and I adore Hayden to bits!) and everyone knows that I love Keith Williams. Speaking of which, watched the Interview today and clean shaven James Franco is one handsome motherf-! But Kim's Crew, my Crew, are some of my favorite writers of all time. I abstained from actually voting for this one, because I felt too close to the situation. Kim assembled the Crew of characters based on my acceptance of them within her group, I didn't just add anyone who asked to be in. And I had her assemble them because I value their talent as writers. That said, I knew Craig couldn't decided it and I figured Dai wouldn't be weighing in. So when talking this dilemma over with someone who I trust to be brutally honest with me, they told me that the Crew RPed better as a whole. It's a shame in a way because Team FIW could have really used this and the Crew could have really used being knocked down a peg. Hopefully Craig's plans for Anarchy in the UK can help achieve that AND achieve some great success for characters that can handle their own fate in some singles matches.Johnny Amazing and Zombie Black So happy that Wight suggested this when we were talking earlier today about their last little convo with one another. And fitting to considering they had a match last year at this event for the now-retired International title. It's always tickled me how Johnny and Zombie are friends and have no right to be, but not a lot of right not to be. It's so weird, but I love it. FIW Championship Match Johnny Amazing vs. Nathaniel Alexander So many thank yous for the feedback on this match. I regretted taking this match the moment that I did, but I literally do not have it in me to let Craig down. I was so ecstatic that he had very little to write for this show after all the effort he's put into the previous big events (not to mention the bi-weekly shows). I had no ideas (thankfully Craig had some!) and when I started writing I just felt like it wasn't really moving. I wrote it all in one sitting last night and when I was done... I wasn't happy with it. I felt like I had literally dragged myself through writing it. Look back... I absolutely love this match. I love everything about it, right down to the two finishes that I wrote. And as much as I love being FIW Champion (I have not held FIW's top title in 12 years!), I would have been OK losing it here. Don't get me wrong, I would have been GUTTED because I love being FIW Champion and JOHNNY loves being FIW Champion. But losing it here, in this match, to someone like Nate after the week we had throwing down would have been OK with me. Probably would have taken a day to be OK with it, but I would have been OK with it. Lol. That said, THANK YOU FOR ANYONE WHO VOTED FOR JOHNNY! I love him so much. I love writing him, I love seeing him become the character I always envisioned that he could become within FIW. He's had a hell of a journey and I was miserable for a lot of it, but looking back at it now I'm proud of it. So thanks to everyone who has been a part of his journey in any way. |

WELL! What a show. Craig is right; this one was a fight to get out, but I think it was worth it. That opening was ASTOUNDING. I kind of like it better than random song lyrics everybody just scrolls past. Not for every week, of course, but for Pay-Per-Views, yup. I could see this being a good thing going forward. I often like to say Craig and I have a similar mentality when booking... something that became even more clear after a conversation we had a few weeks ago where the both of us had a lot of VERY similar ideas, but goddamn if he doesn't assemble a show a hell of a lot better. Even down to the edits he made to my contributions, solid stuff on all sides. Makin' my ass look good. There was a lot of show to read. A LOT. As I may have mentioned before, it's really hard for me to read a lot of stuff and if I had realized how long the main event was going to be I might've started with that because what I skimmed I can tell REALLY deserved a full read. Maybe I'll go back to it later. I kind of tapped out partway through Stanton vs. Jack Jr. in fully reading everything, but the action was really well done and really back-and-forth from what I DID read. Solid stuff from all writers, with a lot of different styles. The promos were great bits of storytelling that just helped build an even stronger platform for the matches at this show, and I also liked the effort from Mr. Otaku, calling Bob a tomato. Classic. But I'm glad to see him building some story and I'm curious to see what the end-game there is. I think that's all I can say? I think that's all I can say. Good work all. EDIT: IT WASN'T! The no-show. First of all, sorry. Second (and I told Craig this in private) for a number of personal reasons I was pushing really hard for Dai to focus on Sakura. As things ticked by I put up the Vi RP to help supplement whatever he ended up putting up (which was nothing, unfortunately...) and only at the tail end of the RP cycle did I sit down to write something for Rebel... and god, I just had nothing. On one hand a long-term feud is great because it gives heat and exposure to two parties involved. On the other hand, unless there's a drastic, permanent change in one party, they both end up saying pretty much the same thing unless they do a cool departure from the norm. The Alpha Wolves did that with the marriage counseling a while back, giving them lots of material and story stuff to work with internally. Sticky had some great shit this week, but I didn't have a whole lot to counter it with except making fun of his religion (not something I was super comfortable with for a number of reasons that... probably aren't the reasons you'd expect) or just saying the same shit in a slightly different way. Rebel and Hikou don't really do internal drama or internal storylines at this point, so there really wasn't something for me to put up, especially without a partner. Still, I usually hold myself to a better standard than that, and I apologize. Nobody wants to win by dint of no-show; I've been there and it doesn't feel good at ALL. But I will also say that Sticky is the most deserving competitor I've faced as either the Lords or NBE and that this match probably would've had the same result even if we had put something up. |

Holy cow. What a show is right. To start with some bad news, I'm probably slowly dying of a head cold (mixed with what might be bronchitis, yay me) and making some pretty bad decisions in my life still which are kinda stressing me out. Really wanted to put something solo out for Darian before the show, ended up writing Phoenix Perfect, thinking it sucked and wanted to scrap it. Still, thought it would look better to have it than not, and ran with it. Sorry. ![]() On the flip side of that, I wanted Rise Of A Legend the night that it came out. I was looking forward to SO much. And EVERYTHING delivered. PreVolt was really great and actually made me want RoaL even more. Excited for the two new Hellcats. Congrats to Rob, I agree that his character is quite the funny man. Also, not sure where to throw this feedback but props to Lita and Wight for the Harley/Cruz and Brick Sharks promos. Those were incredible. Looking to see where all three of those characters go from here. I'm sure I've admitted in the past but... I sometimes struggle getting through entire results. It's usually more to do with me than anything else. I get antsy, I get tired and my eyes start to hurt and then I skim through everything. On Rise of a Legend? Maybe one or two skims total. Yeah, my eyes hurt a lil... But that's because I couldn't help myself from leaning even further towards my screen. The writing was just THAT good. Congrats to Sticky with the Alpha Wolves picking up the tag belts. Love the bickering between Richlen and Gray, as always. And congrats to Crystal on her win. Ended one hell of a reign, even if it wasn't under the best circumstances. Like everyone else, happy that Dai's happy, a lil sad because of the no show. Stanton vs. Manson Jr. was a really fun read, especially with Manson Jr. destroying Kim. Jack's disregard for anyone's well being is something that makes me a lil giddy. Steve does such a great job writing for Jack. Nir does the same with Stanton. FIW vs. the Crew ended up surprising the hell out of me. Like Lita said, I feel like the Crew could've been knocked down a peg and the members of Team FIW could've benefited from that. Still, it was an absolutely thrilling match. From the ref getting knocked down and all hell breaking loose, to the replacement ref (also known as GM Orion Oldroid) getting speared... It screamed intensity. It was clear both sides badly wanted this. Everyone involved looked good, which I thought might be hard to do considering the amount of people. You writers are the best. ![]() Finally, the main event. Had no idea it was going to be that long but I loved every single second of it. Lita did a brilliant job writing for this one. Love both the writers and the characters, but I was pulling for Nathaniel before I started reading it. And then I started to want to cheer for Johnny too... Damn that lovable Amazing champion. All the twists and turns had me really wondering if that FIW Championship was gonna change hands for the first time. Like the submission right before the buzzer that brought the overtime. I wish I had a better way to describe how I felt about that match but I'm stunned. So uhh... It was stunning. Match of the year maybe? I dunno. Looking forward to ReVolt and the build to Anarchy in the U.K. Again, shoutouts to everyone. Really loving all the RPs and matches and character development.

I’m going to post full feedback most likely tomorrow, but I wanted to leave feedback on the main event, though. I absolutely loved that match. Lita couldn’t have done a better job making Nathaniel look like an absolute monster from beginning to end. Just like she said, I would have been elated had Nathaniel won the FIW title, BUT I’m completely fine with having lost in this case. For a couple reasons, actually. 1.) I think it’s still way too early for Johnny to have lost the title, and 2.) Lita has been doing a fantastic job with Johnny Amazing. I’ve made it known before I’m a huge fan of the character and Lita’s writing is nothing short of impeccable, in my opinion. She gave me high praise for my writing, (which, as always, I greatly appreciate) but if anyone deserves that praise it’s her, without a doubt. If I had done any voting for this show (which I didn’t cause I wasn’t sure if voting is strictly limited to people on the creative team) I would have voted for Johnny in the match. And not just because you can’t vote for yourself ![]() I was a little confused at the beginning when Quin announced Nathaniel at 320 lbs. cause I had him at 305. But then I read further and I saw why. Lol. That was a nice touch to put Nathaniel over and make it seem, in kayfabe, like he put in a ton of work to prepare for the match. It was a very subtle detail, but it was awesome. The spots with the water bottle and Quinn Thompson after the 5-3 lead were great too. Lol. Also, I completely agree with Craig about the commentary in this match in particular. I love the banter between Jonathan Hitchen and Chip Martin and I always try to do that with them in the matches I write. I like to think of them as either JR/King or Gorilla/Heenan in my head. Lol. The interference from The Dreams was awesome as well. Long story short, I loved everything about this match. After Nathaniel and Johnny both put it over as a huge deal and the culmination of a 2-year-long rivalry, the match itself absolutely delivered on that. Huge thanks to Lita for taking on that task and delivering with flying colors. |

I'm honestly surprised with the result of Colin's match. It was a solid affair with not too much flash. I suppose as it was a pre show. I don't know where he goes from here though, especially as I'm still having trouble getting in touch with his...stiles. Heh. No, but seriously, I'm still working on him. ![]() Still a good HDC match from where I was sitting. It was two faces vying for the title who happened to have respect for one another. Unfortunately, there's not much in the realm of "For inspiration on that, I'll just watch this..." and with Dai no showing (though for good kinds of personal reasons) I do see it a little more difficult to bring it about. Still, it wound out well and the finish was a nice call back to Crystal's earlier days. Can imagine Courtney wanting to both yell and hug her at the same time. lol The only complaint, and it's not even one on Craig as it's all on me, is having Crystal attempt her jackhammer. I wanted to get that in as a spot but...obviously you saw I didn't get around to it. lol Overall how do I feel? Elated, confused, happy, upset. I've had an idea as to how the match would go since after the deadline and if this were any other champion it might have been an easier pill to swallow. The biggest fear I had coming into the feedback thread was sounding like a sore winner, and I'm trying not to be. But I can't just say "Yay, I did it!" or "I didn't really. This sucks." Only the latter is a little more accurate, sans the end bit there. I think the only thing I can do is say "Okay" and look forward. Though looking forward...I'm a little nervous over what sort of champion Crystal will be. To be honest, even through the trial series I never gave it much thought because I didn't expect winning. Even though I brought out all I could I had a feeling as soon as Dai got on the board that'd be it. At most Crystal may have shown how far she's come since that six pack challenge but little more. It also kinda sucks I'm following a reign like Sakura's with a character that wasn't even thought of when Sakura was already deep in her reign. lol Still, I'll try my best and hope I don't slip up along the way.

Now that Ive gotten a chance to chill out, I read over ROAL and really enjoyed it. The Six Man was really well done, so definitely big ups to Craig and Wight both on that front. You guys really stepped up in the face of an apparent technical snafu so I really think you guys deserve to be recognized for that. Interesting idea to have Keith take the pin, even though everybody in the match looked very strong and had a real big part in the match. Holland even looked good! So, no complaints here. Re: PreVolt, I'm kinda stuck with Esqueleto/Judge. This is probably why we got mollywhopped. Won't lie, right now I'm turning over ideas in my head as to whether or not I should retool some things in the Breed or just drop Judge/Esqueleto altogether and stick with Holland and Misery (Who, by the way, will be undergoing a few changes before he returns). Maybe Misery's changes will spark something? I'm thinking so. ![]() Crystal winning the Hellcats strap was a huge surprise, I mean I figured she'd get it eventually but at ROAL was a pleasant swerve IMO. I think Leucippides is gonna' do really well with this. The Iron Man was awesome if a bit overwhelming to read. Just tons going on. Glad Johnny won though! |

That was an epic show. Crazy cool matches, and just...wow. It felt like a pay per view. Congrats to Craig and all the writers for their hard work. It's appreciated. Feedback time-Preshow; Cool to see two new Hellcats, and I'm excited to see where they go and what they do. The division needed some fresh blood, and Trixie and Katriona seem fun. I was sad not to get any resistance for my tag match. Los Templarios are fun to write though, and I'm glad they can work with a little momentum. I'm really interested to see where Caleb goes now. I guess Freakshow is his next stop next week, so I'll find out more soon. Congrats on Otaku getting some TMS momentum. Between what he did with them this week and with the promo, I'm excited to see where they go. As for the Rising match, I've known for a while that Freakshow's run with the division would be ending sooner rather than later both to freshen up the division and because the competition is getting stiff there. It was great being the Rising Champ, but as I told Craig, I'm here for the writing and fun. Belts are great, but it's not the end of the world if I don't have one. Super glad to see Rob Garcia grab the title. He's hilarious, and his promo during the main show was possibly the best thing I've seen him write. It elicited actual out loud laughter from me and not just a lol. Feedback time- RoaL: The Mercedes vs. Xenia match was hype as hell. Their promos this week really set the stage for a fantastic match, and Wight's writing is on point as always. Glad to see Xenia get a PPV win, because she's an awesome character, but I'm also double glad that Bleak's work with Mercedes is getting rewarded despite the loss. The tag match next ReVolt is going to be great. Great job to Nate with the Jericho Cruz vs Freakshow grudge match. I appreciate the momentum with Freakshow, and the match was just super fun. This will be a theme with my feedback. I liked a lot of this show and don't have a whole lot critical to say. Jade vs. Marilyn was also well written and fun. I'm not a super fan of either at the moment, because I feel there are a lot of missed opportunities with both of them (Marilyn could be roleplayed more, and Jade gets a lot of her roleplay lost due to less than optimal post formatting) Sad to see NBE no-show, but I know what happened, and I'm glad to see the Alpha Wolves on top for now, and rategr didn't slack on his offense this week. He's been doing great work with them, and I'm honestly not sure who would have won if there was defense going into this match. I'm stoked to see their defense next ReVolt. Crystal Blake being our new Hellcats champ is awesome. I've loved the character for a while, and Leu has put in awesome work with her. Effort alone makes her deserve the victory, and then Leu actually writes compelling and fun stuff for Crystal. Again, the no-show win is bittersweet, but I'm excited to see where Leu goes from here. Jack vs. Joe was fun. It's nice seeing Kim Coulter worried, and I'm excited to see the extended repercussions of this. Team FIW vs. Crew was similarly cool. There were lots of spots to make everyone shine, and it really showed how dominant the Crew is based on their actual wrestling ability. They get by a lot with underhanded tactics, but they're also monsters in the ring. The main event was extremely well written, especially for such a long match. I tend to have issues keeping my attention on super long matches, and Lita wrote it in such a way that I actually didn't feel like I had to force my way through it. Glad to see Johnny retain. It was Ah-mah-Zing! Also, throwing this out there, while I could make up stuff and do random storyline stuff with both Los Templarios and Freakshow, if anyone has ideas or wants to collaborate, please hit me up. |

My apologies for the lack of RP's for ATN to both Bob and Craig. As I've already said to the creative team, ATN are done for the time being which will more than likely be permanent. I'm coming to find I have less and less time to run just one character so I'm trimming the fat. I had a hard enough time RPing Jack this cycle sitting down at total of 9 different times and deleting a total of 6 RP's, starting all over and still not really being happy with the end result. No real surprise that I lost. |

Apologies but I just now had time to sit and read the show. On Saturday I spent the entire day moving into my new place then had best friends' son's birthday party to go to. So needless to say, I had no energy to post anything that night. I'd like to apologize to Craig as he'd asked if I could write a promo for Eversol for the show, but I just had no time with the move and all. I enjoyed everything I read. The promos were all really good and entertaining and the matches were all incredibly well written. So great job to everyone that wrote for this show. I'm glad people seemed to enjoy Jade vs Marilyn. With getting ready for the move and everything I felt like the match was terrible, so I'm happy to read people say nice things about it. I'd also like to apologize again for using the wrong colors on the announcers. I should've realized this was a PPV and asked if there was a specific color we were using. Sorries. I had an absolute blast RPing Mercedes last cycle. I absolutely love what's been going on for Eversol as of late but it was awesome getting to work Xenia and then the little interaction with Crystal was great too and of course the RP with Johnny was super fun. I missed playing Mercedes more than I ever realized. I'm actually super okay with Mercedes having lost. When I was talking with Nate last week, I had mentioned that I almost felt that she should lose in order to get more heat on Xenia and really build their feud more. Plus even in her loss, she still looked courageous and tough. I really loved the idea of playing up the injury she had got too. Wight did a great job with this match. I loved reading it. As for the Crew vs FIW match, that was no different. The match was chaos and super cool seeing everyone get their time to shine. I was super happy seeing that Eversol actually got the pin. The RPs for the cycle were cool too. The press conference thread was fun to be a part of and of course the thread where Darian and Eversol went to therapy was just great. I love the new direction that Clay and Eversol's realationship has gone with them suddenly being friendly. I'm sorry I couldn't post full feedback but I'm on my phone at the moment and it would have been hell to type it all out. But this was a great show, as always. Also, don't be distracted from the fact that Nathaniel Alexander blew a 5-3 lead at RoaL in the FIW title match.

I actually enjoyed the Mercedes/Crystal interaction as well. It was fun playing Crystal in a different light, a test in the water of her being a little heelish. I even thought of just pulling the trigger but...I slept on it and by the end reasons just didn't add up. She was frustrated, nothing more. Everyone gets that way.

I am very, very enthused for her and she has worked so very hard to earn it. I feel like it has been earned and I have always been a fan of the character and handler. I literally yelled "YES!" out loud when I saw the result. I ain't gonna lie. I hope this represents a LONG run with the title and more accolades to come!

LOL
Hopefully Craig's plans for Anarchy in the UK can help achieve that AND achieve some great success for characters that can handle their own fate in some singles matches.
