Matches: Wight, Craig & Rob Promos: Wight, Will, Craig, Crys... the other person I always forget. Tom! Maybe there's another. The other topic wasn't about me complaining about writers, it was just to update when the show was likely to be posted (I was almost spot on) and explain I was a bit behind. Writing matches isn't a problem, I enjoy including the little nuances, it's just the time that got away from me and not getting enough done on Thursday night. Some surprising results probably, which I'll take some flak for. Luckily I've got broad shoulders. There's definitely two I think will cause complaints, actually three now I think about it. A strange week for roleplaying, I think Steve's departure spread amongst the roster and there were a couple of no-shows. I assume Hayden just missed it because I'm sure I've seen him on twitter and Katriona's handler has replied to a PM - I'm sorry I can't remember your name. Can I just again publically thank Steve for everything he did for me and the fed. I can always tell it's been tough when my judging doesn't match anybody else's. Everything's tight, everything's close. You'll see how Jack Manson Jr.'s exit was handled, that was a conversation that spanned several days. Steve requested he wasn't buried on his way out but at the same time, it was felt that several people had bent over backwards to put that character over so traditionally there should be some element of 'doing a favour' on the way out. The solution I came up with is one that I think the character can come back from and it does leave it open for several parties to accept responsibility if they wish. New card will be up shortly. Because somebody and I stress the word somebody without naming any names whatsoever (WIGHT) introduced a character I need to shuffle the card. That was one of the few things I did sort out on Thursday. I'll try to add to any feedback raised tomorrow. Any other thoughts? |

*laughs* Sorry about that. I let you know... roughly as soon as I knew. Forgot about the time difference maybe causing problems there. ![]() That aside I thought the show was really great. Lots of unexpected creative decisions made, and I do mean creative. Good ways to resolve complicated angles and situations, especially with this week's roleplays being a little unusual. Both in good and bad ways. I feel like we'll recover from the bad, and the good... well, it's good! I'm not sure what else to say. Thanks to Craig for doing so much work. I never thought you were complaining, just... don't be afraid to share the load, Mr. Frodo. Share the load. |

To Craig: I don't believe anyone saw you as complaining about the number of matches you had to write. We love you, respect you and salute all the hard work you do. As a group we just felt bad when we realized how much was on your plate. I'll try to start adding a match or two every week to the two I usually do now. I have to warn you all, they might be the abbreviated type things I do now but... I wanna help more. I need to increase my effort and I promise you all I will endeavor to do so ![]() Still hard to believe Steve is gone. He was so intertwined in everything in a positive way. Even back when I started playing and he was the GM over on Slam! Certainly appreciative of everything he did for all of us. I am glad Jack Manson Jr didn't get whacked on the way out. I always like it when people leave in a good way that they are open to return. Meh, don't worry about judging. I think we all realize by now everything is usually close and fairly graded. Other than that no complaints from me. Everyone that contributed rocked. I hope I did Will justice by using the notes he gave me for his match. I tried very hard to make everyone happy. |

No complaints here. I didn't figure Colin would win and seeing Crystal walk away as co-champion is interesting enough. It'll be settled at Anarchy in the UK so it doesn't seem like it'll be a long standing thing. To be honest, I'm just glad Crystal is still holding the belt in some fashion at least. lol I was a little afraid given my showing that I had immediately dropped the ball on the whole thing. As with the matches, they were pretty good. Happy to see everyone got their moment in the triple threat with a pinfall each. Even if things were quickly reversed out of Colin and Alastor's favor. lol Seeing them both get their pinfall on the champ though... But at the same time fresh faces are always nice. ![]() I really enjoyed the Hellcats title match as well. It was a nice case of action between the three and seeing some of the emotional opinions coming out was good as well. In that there wasn't really that much of an alliance formed between Crystal and Mercedes just cause they were faces. Ugh, just reminds me of the attitude era where all the faces were presumably friends. I mean, not that there's flat out hatred between Crystal and Mercedes... Hopefully you get my point because I feel like I'm getting away from the feedback. lol It was a fun week in buildup too. I'm sorry I wasn't around for a lot of it but things should be calm now and I should be able to return to my usual schedule of writing. I did get the sense I used too much Mr. Snibbles though. |

Craig, I hope with everything being reshuffled I have been helpful and flexible as far as the planning with all of the Breed/Crew characters. You've definitely been nothing but awesome in that regard. I hope everyone was sufficiently pleased with how the Breed tag went down. The return of Valiente...sort of...is going to be helpful to me and others, I hope. Plus, the Judge being a thing was sort of a lark that I tried when Wight and I were discussing CAWs one day, I thought I would try it, it didn't end up working out. No bigs. I hope my opponents really benefited from that. Craig: When you're able, let me know when the Valiente DARK bio goes up so I can refer to it as I roleplay. Was not expecting the victory for Holland over Stanton but I'll take it, for sure! It's been kind of a week of transition for me, and it's nice to be able to deal with a group that is so flexible and accomodating while I kind of cruise and find an opening. Thank you all for that.

From what i've read i really like it all. The commentary at times had me laughing and the remarks towards kira are something... I'm happy i got 2/3 this week too. This show was pretty solid and no worries Craig, I can't help match writing wise right now with school almost ending and having tests up the butt,i'm too busy to write matches but come summer break when i'm doing nothing for like 2 or 3 months i'll help than any way i can. I liked that everyone looked strong and had a good back and forth too you know? The match with Yuki and Sang-Hyun was nice with the subtle things going on in and after the match and i'm sorta relieved that Bob kicked Kira. This makes things... easier? Maybe that's what i'm looking for. The future of Kira is easier to get to now for sure and i hope i can get across the more romantic like friendship building stuff to come across good and not make it suck too bad.(i'm terrible at this kind of stuff) Hopefully this can help more with my trio in this triangle sort of thing and i'm happy jordan and jerri got her done and won too. I again apologize for their rp being bare and having no color by the time we got it all done is when i realized i didn't ask what jerri and nichelles color codes were so that's why,Nothing major i guess but should be fixed soon enough. Thanks to everyone who wrote matches and segments and thanks everyone for putting in all the effort and kicking some major butt! |

I'm super glad, because while I needed this to happen for something I'm doing down the line (and this seemed like the perfect time for it with Craig's genius match stipulation) I didn't wanna cause bad blood between us. On the other hand, I like surprise and the genuine reaction, so I didn't wanna talk about it beforehand. I feel like we were both holding each other back in our own ways. You've improved so much in the last month, I feel like you're gonna SOAR now.
Gratitude is the greatest lubricant to ease the friction caused by a finicky roleplayer. Believe me, I apply it liberally. Have I mentioned how great Craig is lately? Because he is.

I'll be honest, real life is slowly taking over. Normally I could juggle it and get something up, but it's getting to be a bit more challenging. Chief among them is me moving to a bigger place, but perhaps just as important is the decision to start wrestling training this week. It's only been one class and my legs are killing me, but the atmosphere is great and I can't complain much. I'm not sure how far I'll go, but I can say it's time consuming all on its own. But enough about Hayden and his problems. Let's talk ReVolt! I was SUPER glad to see Zombie back this week. He and Hayden have had several great Twitter exchanges both during his previous run and after, and I enjoyed the lift acknowledgement in his promo. This seems like a fired up Zombie, so I'm eager to see how far he goes. Bring back Setsuko Kanemoto please and thank you. I just..... I really love the character. And an could have some exchanges with the roster. Caleb joining the Crew was something that neither I or Dream expected. He's been reacting to it pretty badly on twitter, so while I'm glad he won the titles, Dream is beside himself. I do hope this isn't the end of the Alpha Wolves/Crew, as Gus has been doing solid work for a while now and I'd love to see it continue. Also it evens up the sides and possibly helps Dream avoid beatdowns. Dude's been on the recieving and a lot. I'm curious as to go co-champions will work out. It's pretty ambitious, so I'm hoping for the best. If Jack Jr. was gonna go out, he certainly went out with a bang. I've learned to never say never in the efed game, but if this is the last of Jack, he went out like he should have. And finally I'm sooooo stealing "The Long Arm of the Law". That name is too great to disappear. |

First off, best of luck, Hayden, on your pro wrestling training! I envy you cause I'd love to do that, but I'm not physically able to. Lol. I haven't read the whole show yet, but I did skim some of it. Expect full feedback to come soon. The Nathaniel/Keith match was awesome. Craig and I had discussed Dream's interference in that match, so I knew the loss for Nathaniel was coming there. But I think that was the perfect way to set that whole thing up with Nathaniel and Dream moving forward. And setting up that interference early on in the show with Nathaniel attacking Dream was great as well. Tne ensuing main event with Johnny vs Stephen Eversol for the FSC was equally awesome. Eversol has been on an absolute tear with that FSC title and that's been a helluva lot of fun to see play out. It'll be interesting to see what happens in the FSC Invitational. So, Eversol, Clay/Caleb, and Rob Garcia all have titles in The Crew. Darian and Nathaniel are the only ones left out! Lol. I really liked that transition Caleb made when he joined the Coulter Crew. It was almost like this coldness just emerged from him, and it was really cool to see that drastic difference. It'll be interesting to see how he reacts being a new member of the Crew and having gold almost immediately. I'm definitely looking forward to seeing what Wight does with Zombie now that he's back. I like what he'd been doing on Twitter showing how he'd been lost and trying to find himself after leaving FIW and things falling through with NeonGIW. I'm eager to see what happens from here. The co-Hellcat champions: Crystal and Mercedes was completely unexpected and I can't wait to see what happens there. Having them both pin Xenia is huge because Xenia has been such a tremendous force so far. It'll be interesting to see her reaction as well. More feedback to come soon! EDIT: Also, I like the way things were handled with the Jack Jr. character with Steve's departure. I agree, it gives Jack Jr. a way to return should Steve be able to make his return at some point. |

I am blown away that Caleb won the tag titles again. Half and half on that. Craig was amazing with Clay as always. I was very unsure of how Caleb would come across as a heel. It's something that has been in the works since before the Brick Sharks even broke up, so it's really fulfilling to finally be there and to be rewarded with a title right off the bat! I hope that means people like the new version of Caleb at least somewhat. Huge thanks to Hayden for really selling it on Twitter. I really loved how everything unfolded with the whole Dream/Nathaniel/Keith/Eversol/Johnny situation this week. I wish I had been more committed to the show and been able to add some segments, but I just couldn't... I'm gonna take a moment to be really honest with you guys and hope nobody gets offended in any way. My passion for FIW lately just hasn't been here. I'm sure it's probably been noticeable that I'm around less and less than I used to be. I love Johnny. I love exploring Caleb as a person. I absolutely love being the mastermind behind the juggernaut that is the Crew. This is honestly the greatest they've ever been with both Blue Label boys, Clay Krueger, Darian Gray, and Rob Garcia - all incredible characters and even better handlers. However, I'm just finding it difficult to feel excited about much that is going on and I don't really know how to shake that and get myself back on track. Craig's got a lot of great ideas and he puts on a damn good show, but the direction some things have gone in are just not my cup of tea and it's really hard for me to care when I'm so disinterested in something. So yeah. I'm sorry to anyone that I might have dropped the ball with by not getting back to you. I honestly can't even remember the number of PMs I read, said I'd get back to, and then just forgot about. I'm sorry. If I haven't gotten back to you and you REALLY want to talk to me about it, I'm gonna have to ask you to please send it again and I'll do my best. Thanks. I'm really glad for Wight that he's back with a character that he likes to write and I look forward to seeing what he brings to the table. |

I think the natural state is to be a bit more self-interested, and a bit less interested in the wider scope of the fed. Those times when we can open up and appreciate so much are fantastic, but they will eventually fade. It's important not to focus on trying to get that feeling back and instead just do your best and have a good time. |

Where is it? Can we find it? Did you remember to put a bell on it? Couldn't help it. I'm sorry. Though I agree with Wight. Sometimes you gotta take a step back, figure out what you're gonna do, and start doing it. If people get interested enough they'll come to you and you're basically already enjoying what you're doing. I mean...you started it, why start something here you hate? Other people are expanding it giving you a wider berth to worth in so you basically go from small room to running around a field where there's nothing but daisies all around. Unless you're allergic. Then there's nothing but you having fun with a weed whacker killing daisies. Point is, you're in a vast expanse and you're having fun.

I noticed, and meant to ask you about it, but decided against it cause I wasn't sure if I was just imagining it. Lol. I can honestly say I've been in the same position before. There was a point where I was basically just going through the motions and had no passion for it and wasn't really having fun RP'ing anymore at that point. That, coupled with IRL stuff I had going on for a bit, were sort of piling onto it for me. Even now I kinda struggle with finding that passion every now and then. So, I definitely don't blame you for it. As for shaking it off, for me personally, I found the only way I could do that was to sort of hold the fed at arm's length and just look at it as a means of becoming a better writer. That's not necessarily something I'd recommend for everybody, but it's worked for me so far at least. |

I feel like I've somewhat opened up a can of worms with match writing. My policy is this, if you are free to write a match and want to commit, get it touch. All matches and promos go to the FIW Network account. Random notes: I've also just realised that I forgot Kim Coulter is wearing a halo, or was. There's a thing historians like called turning points. For example and I'm partially quoting from one of my favourite films; when Chamberlain resigned as British prime minister, Churchill wasn't the first thought. Halifax more generally acceptable. But on the afternoon the decision was taken, Halifax chose to go to the dentist. If Halifax had had better teeth, we might have lost the war. Similarly, the Hellcats Championship match was scheduled to be Jade Justice vs. Crystal and Mercedes vs. Xenia in their grudge match at RATC XXX but with Jade gone, I moved the two into a triple threat match. Which made sense from the Rise of a Legend interactions, but did leave me with a quandary. I always had scheduled to bring Alpha Wolves into the storyline with the Crew and Clay was front and centre of that, which meant that I could win two titles on one show. I kind of couldn't let that happen because I don't think that's cricket. I don't agree with the idea that fedheads can't win titles but at the same I don't think it's to be encouraged. I could have sandbagged but I don't think that would be fair and I want to enjoy myself as well. The Hellcats result is a bit of a compromise, I've really enjoyed the interactions between Mercedes and Crystal so to be able to extend that and set up what is now the first match of the Anarchy in the UK card is quite satisfying. Didn't get anything from Cobra's handler in terms of a promo as had been previously discussed. Hope this isn't another case of new sign up goes wrong. I honestly have been operating under the impression that Jerri Wonderful of Conceived Sorrow was female. I don't know why I do that, it's the second time now I thought somebody was the wrong gender. Maybe it's the name. That meant a rewrite of the card too, since originally she (he) was included in a Hellcats-exclusive trios match. I don't normally reward deadline bombs, but I felt that Kyle has been doing good stuff since coming back and it's not worked out in terms of results so it's a deserving win over Nathaniel. I am very much enjoying the developing Dream/Nathaniel rivalry. However, the most fun must go to Colin Stiles vs. Alastor Saintclaire vs. Rob Garcia. One day I'm going to publish all the ideas that I suggest that don't get used. Some of those are gold. |

That was a seriously fun show. I like that things are being shaken up in the divisions (Hellcats dual champions, what?!), and several people having issues writing or leaving was handled really well. I like that Eversol's purposeful DQ is being handled the way it is, and I think some really cool storylines will come out of that battle royale. The matches themselves were fun reads too. Zombie Black returning is a fun little wrench thrown into the roster too. Excited about that. |

Honestly man i think it would take allot for me to have bad blood with anyone OOC. So don't worry about it. It's good that this was more of a surprise too because now things are going to be more genuine IC with Kira going forward. ANd yeah i agree that we were probably holding each other back in bits and pieces with our characters but, hey it was fun while it lasted and this could be the seeds of something else down the line. Thanks for the nice comments too, So far i think even unintentionally we're both getting a win-win kind of scenario out of the results and i think some good things can really happen for all parties. Good luck with Ole Bobs future with Freakshow. |
