Matches: Otaku, Craig, Tom & Jes
Promos: Lita, Craig, Otaku, ? & Tom - if I've missed anybody as always I apologise.

Bit of an odd week, mostly at my doing. By waiting to announce the Anarchy in the UK matches but still doing what is effectively a preview show, it didn't come off well. My own initial RP with Clay was really the best I could do in the circumstances before I had the idea to mash two ideas into one.

Slow to start with but really picked up and that's mostly thanks to Tom and Jes, whose involvement was a particular highlight. Otaku should have got more reward on the show but I did have in mind his Rising title shot at AitUK. Enjoyed Bleak's RP with Mercedes, I thought that was good.

The draft segments probably went better than I imagined, so full credit to Lita on that one. As always her work in the fed is immeasurable and highly appreciated. That includes the new Anarchy in the UK Vs. screens, which you'll all see shortly as I just finish off the card.

The show itself was more fun than I thought it would be, Tom really took on the two end matches and did them a tremendous credit.

Anarchy in the UK weekend will follow the format that has been established with PreVolt and then the PPV so any writers are greatly welcomed and encouraged. Reading Wight's thread about long matches has highlighted there is a desire for them out there so this is your chance. If you'd like to write for the card, PM me or include as part of your feedback and I'll get your name added to the card.

Awful to hear Matt is having difficulties, best wishes to him. I've left Darian on the AitUK card in case Matt wants to RP. Hayden is there too but after another week without contact, I suspect the PPV might be the last time he's booked.

There was one unsavoury incident this week. A new account under the name TheReturn37253 posted a RP hyping their impending... um... return. I moved it to the admin area just while I established who this was and what was going on, since I'm bound to be asked questions and I'd like to give those answers where I can. I'm not a huge fan of random posts appearing in the RP board, everywhere else I'm not too worried about but the RP forum is pretty sacred to me. I personally wouldn't go into another fed and start posting without giving them a heads up first, I think that's a basic decency and respect. The response I got was littered with accusations of "oppressive", "uptight", "controlling", "jump down my throat". I happen to think I am the epitome of laissez faire myself but in this occasion I've been accused of otherwise. I don't know who this person is, who they were in the fed, if they're somebody's friend. If they are, I simply moved the rp to figure out what was occurring. A head's up would have solved the issue immediately.

But other than that, fun week on the whole. Anarchy card to go up shortly.

Any thoughts?

Disappointed by the no shows, hope everyone's okay that did that didn't say anything about it.

The show still managed to run smoothly in spite of the no shows, and it had a nice flow to it in spite of being the go home show for the PPV.

I liked the format for the Anarchy Draft, I wouldn't mind it being used again in the future. Though maybe a little earlier to give us a show or two to further hype the matches. Let everything breathe.

I also like the four-way that ended up being booked. I'm curious what everyone else will have to give up if they lose, since we got Dream's mask so far if he eats the fall. Maybe Darian has to wear a mask if he loses, essentially giving up his "perfection"? It's going to be interesting.

Hopefully everyone enjoyed the matches I wrote, tried to make everyone look good.

I had some fun this week, Jes' no joke. I wasn't expecting a title match for Joe so soon, but it kinda just happened in their interactions. Figured it could go either way.

I liked the show very much this week. I hope Katriona and Hayden like their match and i hope i did good enough for them on that part. I like the back and forth with NBEC this week it was fun at the end and made me almost start crying i was laughing so hard. That goat is comedy gold i tell you. I'm happy to get that title match fot TMS now and i'm happy to get a shot at the rising title too, thanks for letting me get these opportunities as well.

The card really flowed well and i like the whole "draft" through out the night it was cool. The matches we're all nice and this new first ever match is very interesting, can't wait to learn more about it. Good luck to everyone at Anarchy at the Uk and lets continue to kick butt guys and gals!

What the hell?! So Robs fired now?! We made a title match with the stipulation if anyone interfers the other gets fired. Title for butler dutys. I'm sorry but what the actual fuck?! Rob just gets fired on something I didn't even approve of?

No, because the interference wasn't seen by the referee.

Least that's how I intended it to be spun when Craig sent me the instruction to have Noon run in.

No, because the interference wasn't seen by the referee.

Okay I guess. But he agreed to go in there one on one with nobody else getting involved. Orion should have come out and fired him then.

Okay then I guess he's not fired. I would have mentioned that to some one though if I was writing our match. I am really disappointed in this.

If you mean the stipulations, Craig referenced it in the PM he sent me. So I'm under the impression he's aware of what Joe and Rob discussed.

If you mean the interference, that's part of e-feds. Fedheads set up run ins in matches all the time. To me, it isn't any different than if Kim had gotten involved. Noon's essentially become a secondary manager for Rob. I wouldn't take it so hard, though if that's really how you feel, I'm sure if you let Craig know he will try to accommodate you in the future.

Short synopsis because I'm at work;

Happy with how everything went, excited to do the Panopticon. I get to go one on one with Wight for PreVolt which is also going to be really fun.

Good show gang, ready for Anarchy!

Well, I'm kinda over it now, Tom. I'll just mark it off as pro wretsling.

You are a tough competitor!!! I worked hard and so did you. I enjoyed working with you. One day when I get better at this I'd like to work with you again, against or with you. Thanks for working with me.

(Oh and Rob will find any excuse as to why he didn't win.)

Yeah, I wouldn't be too concerned with it. Pro-Wres does this sort of thing a lot.

Hell, sports does it a lot. Ever watched a game where a ref makes a bum call? Or, fails to?

You are too, man. I enjoyed our back and forth & would be up working with you again in the future. Like you said, no matter what side it is.

Twas a very good show, kudos to the writers and to everyone who helped shape another fluid seamless ReVolt.

A great way to close the epic that has been Colin/Alastor, I'm sure they'll cross paths down the line but with Jess' writing I feel it was a proper send off. Good work to Colin for his consistently great output throughout this feud.

I dug the Anarchy Draft, neat idea I can see being of fleshed out more and used in the future.

Who is this THEY!?

Shame on the no shows, hope it is only temp for Dream and Gray.

Shame Rob loss, not mad that Joe won, I'd have preferred a count out or a no contest to preserve the integrity of The Rising Championship but that's life, not everyone see's it the same. Glad we can all be mature adults about it.

Looking forward to PreVolt, Anarchy looks stacked as well!

I haven't read the show quite yet, but I intend to do so either tonight or tomorrow. I just wanted to post an apology for the no-show this cycle. Those who know me, know I'm not one to no-show stuff, but I just could not muster anything this cycle at all. I did have a hand in a segment that set up the Anarchy match Alexander is involved in, but that was after the cycle was already over.

I genuinely tried to post something up a couple days before the deadline, but I just couldn't get into the mindset to get it done. So, again, apologies all around on that!

I wasn't very happy with the main-event. It felt like the perfect opportunity for SOMETHING to happen between Team FIW and the Coulter Crew, but then... The match gets thrown out? I understand that you don't want one side to look too much weaker than the other, however, the faces haven't really gotten over very often on the bad guys and despite this the Coulter Crew were able to not lose, yet still look strong by attacking people at the end. I know you don't want to bury those who don't RP, at the same time those who do RP should be rewarded. There has to be a careful balance between protecting commodities when needed and giving someone their due when the time is right. Just wasn't my cup of tea in terms of a finish for a big grudge match leading into the PPV.

As always, I appreciate every ounce of effort that's put into the shows no matter if I care for a particular match or not. Thanks for all the work you do, Craig, as well as the writers.

Now can I get through another RP cycle without finding a way to fuck something up?!

Seriously, can't believe nobody fileted the Alpha Wolves for saying Thursday instead of Friday.

Well, I really liked the show. Feedback so far is spot on; those segments really flowed nicely. This feud between Kim and Orion feels like it'll never end! I like it. I love seeing Kim written as a strong, capable businesswoman and she's been that overflowing with this angle. And of course, Orion is a great character, too. He's not quite 100% good, but still has a good heart... mostly.

I loved the Zombie Black spot in the Erik Holland match, and Joe's commentary. Nir is such a good writer, and has such good attention to detail.

Tag match was really good, and so was the handicap match. I hope everyone enjoyed it, it was an idea I shot to Craig that I thought would be good to give Trixie a loss and put over Crystal and Mercedes. I hope you guys feel like it did that job.

I was wondering how I would be involved with the PPV card. I didn't realize until a day or so ago that I didn't have any proper feuds going into it. I gotta say I like what's shaken out. Should be a fun card to RP for.

Thanks to all the writers, and thanks for the week off! Gave me time to work on those commissions.

I think Kyle has every right to be disappointed about the outcome of the main event, I think it has suffered from the experiment with setting up Anarchy in the UK late, which was a contrast to how I've normally done it with PPV matches being set far in advance and stories maybe petering out beforehand. I actually had it down for a Dream loss on the basis that the other no-shows had contacted in Matt (publically) and Nate (privately). Another judge had Johnny over Nathaniel and the third suggested the outcome we've used. On the positive it's another example of people suggestions getting into the show, Wight has mentioned his idea of Trixie's match and Lita had lots of input obviously especially with Nathaniel's interruption. Please all, if you have show ideas or something you definitely wouldn't like to see, get in touch beforehand.

I disagree that the faces successes haven't been very often. I've actually been very careful to ensure there is either an even ebb-and-flow of successes or the faces have been superior ever since and in many ways including Rise of a Legend. So on the first show after ROAL we had Nathaniel & Eversol over Johnny & Keith but the Alpha Wolves were the ones to close the show with a significant win over Clay & Darian. The week after was RATC where the Crew did regain the titles, while Keith defeated Nathaniel and Johnny defeated Eversol by intentional DQ. On trios night we had the embarrassing situation for Nathaniel, the trios wins were shared between faces and Crew (from memory, I could be wrong) and then in what I consider the most significant victory of the entire cycle face Joe Stanton claimed the FSC when he was up against two Crew members in the battle royal. Coming to this week we had Joe with another win, then the main event ended with Eversol standing over Johnny. Without adding up the 'scores' I suspect the faces have been superior in terms of getting over on the Crew as of late.

I put the Champion vs. Champion down match as an error. I was already somewhat sceptical on the basis that the title being at stake didn't really fit the narrative of Draft Night, especially as the FSC was always going to one of the priority matches and following both my own thoughts and that of judges while selecting Joe to win based on the roleplays, didn't want Rob to lose clean based on his effort, so I threw Jeff Noon out there (who ironically of course isn't actually employed in FIW) in order to be there for Rob as a storyline point for afterwards. I have explained this in a PM to Jes, in reply to his initial thoughts.

I also said to Jes I think it was earlier this week that if anybody does want to contribute their thoughts to the show, please do PM them over whether that's match ideas, future card suggestions or judging itself. Everything is welcome. Not everything is possible in terms of suggestions, but will always be considered and attempted to include.

I put this down as a bad show, sadly those seem to be a reoccurring theme somewhat. There seems to be an issue taken up each week with something happening on the show, which is obviously a concern.

I would just like to thank everybody who has come forward to write PPV matches or PreVolt matches. Especially Kat, who is new to the match writing game (at least in FIW).

It was a good match, given Trixie was already kinda circling the title anyway. The loss doesn't totally kill off her chances, as I'm sure she could rebound, I just wish I could have had my head in the game beforehand and write something that was decent. (FYI, no images on the first as photoshop was a bitch and kept asking me to login). The, um, "teamwork" between Mercedes and Crystal worked out well too. I do like the tension that's been going on between them as well. Like boiling milk on the stove, if not watched it could spill over in a nasty way at any moment. :)

Alastor and Colin was fairly chaotic as well. Their feud has been something of a fun one for me, although tiredness reared its ugly head on my writing schedule. Still, it was a good match and the bits between Alastor and Keith were fairly entertaining. :)

The way you've broken it down makes me see the faces have had their share of comeuppances. I just expected something less anticlimactic for the last ReVolt leading into the PPV. Especially with a storyline that's still building steam and working towards its conclusion. I'm glad that all input is heard, but I also think there shouldn't be too many cooks in the kitchen as well. I find it odd that two no shows as opposed to one no show would go in favor of the two no shows. To be fair, I tend to think judging should be more simple and about the actual writing. But I know from experience and asking that certain judges take into account other factors that don't seem necessary.

I wouldn't put down any show as being bad because of a few grievances. If anything, it just means people are involved and care enough to share their opinion. Nothing is completely ruined by a single finish. You can always come out of it with something stronger if you give the effort.
