WELCOME BACK, EVERYBODY!!!

So, my first official week as GM in this bold new era of Full Intensity Wrestling wasn't without its hiccups, but in the end we made a show, the show got posted well within an acceptable time frame, and we actually had a really great turnout of handlers new and old.

This week was really challenging to judge, and you'll notice we went with a variety of atypical finishes to some matches. A lot of effort was put in to preserving the integrity of the competitors who lost, as well as putting over the ones who won (obviously) but I can safely say that everyone who roleplayed did a really great job! I was particularly impressed by a lot of the new additions to the roster, and I'm glad they've chosen us as a home.

Pay special attention to the structure of the show, writers; this is essentially how I'd like our non-PPV events to look. Title matches deserve going a little overboard on, but in general this is what we want to see. Keep it light, keep it descriptive, keep up commentary to sell the people in the ring, and then move on when it's all said and done.

Please leave feedback for the writers and roleplayers; they worked hard to bring you this show and they want to know what you liked and what they can do better in the future. If you have an issue with the result of your match, specifically please PM me personally and we'll discuss it. Remember; 50/50 booking is one way to book a wrestling show, but it's not very good when it's the only way. We're all doing our best to tell stories, here. Putting over your opponent and telling a good story are more important than arbitrary points in a win/loss column.

Matches: Nir.
Promos: Lita, Nir, Hayden, Bleak, James.

as my first week back into efeding in like, three years this was a refreshing show. happy to be apart of FIW and excited to see the next card! writing was quick and to the point and got the point across, different from what I'm used to, but I liked it.

I enjoyed the show and kinda like these quick and short results. Makes it much more manageable and easier to read. I enjoyed my match as well. The tidbits of jordan getting frustrated and him and erik having beef with each other was real nice.

Thanks to Nir for writing them matches, thanks to everyone who popped out promos and thank you wighty for your hard work thus far. I think everyone wasn't burried and everyone looked good win loose or draw.

I liked the attack by eversole too, that was very heelish and made his point come across nicely. I also like the HAYATO match too. The amount of intended or not naruto stuff was cool. Well that stuff happens allot in naruto with shadow clones and the log thing.

Anyway good show and congrats to our winners and contenders. Welcome to the new people and i'm curious who the new GM figure will be IC.

Not surprised that I lost both times, to be honest. Hayden nailed it this cycle while I utterly fucked up Shaelin's promo. Better luck next time, I guess.

That was fun to read. I really enjoyed this RP series with Katriona and Otaku. Thought Icon looked good too, I suppose him losing without getting beat is sort of a backwards 3 dimensional chess victory in and of itself. The Badd Breed promo was really funny, and the twist at the end was good too. Entertaining show!

Card's up. I know I butchered Hikou's name but I didn't remember to double-check pronunciation before I started recording.

I'll try to remember better next time.

The auction for the first leg of the Cutthroat Tourney is up as well.

Twas a great show! Nice and short results and everyone was protected pretty well. Loved the segments, especially Eversol being an ass. Welcome to all the newcomers, as well. I've got a lot of catching up to do as far as reading promos goes around here.

This was a fun and easy read. I really liked the simplicity of the matches and really love how aesthetically pleasing the new colors are. It makes sense for these smaller shows to be formatted like this. There's definitely enough to take from them to write RPs.

I really enjoyed the promos and seeing the new characters in action. Ike is awesome. I'll look forward to more from him in the future.

I really had a lot of fun writing the promos with both Nir and Lita this week. It was cool to write with Nir again after not having written anything together since NGIW a few years ago. I'm glad that people seemed to have enjoyed the promos.

I also liked how Eversol was booked. I honestly expected a complete loss since Dai's Ninja RPs were great. But I loved the way the match was handled. The different ninjas all appearing was great. As for Mercedes and Johnny, it was cool seeing them kind of establish a dynamic in the ring as a team. And of course Johnny's continues awkwardness and eventual kiss was great.

I'll echo what's been said, I'm excited for Slam now.

No complaints here. Everything was well done and I really enjoy the way all aspects of the show were handled. Bright days and I look forward to Slam!

Great show, I love the short format because I'm the sort of person who can't concentrate on great big walls of text and cards that feature like, 11 3000-word matches... thumbs up from me on that one!

Pleased with the outcome of my match, Zema is a big guy so by all rights should have thrown him around and roughed him up, that's pretty much how he'd be treated by anyone bigger than him, win or lose! Taking a DQ loss didn't make AK look "weak" and also showed off the kind of wrestler he is.

Cool promo by Fargo, got me intrigued to see what goes on with him in the future.

First half of the show was a great introduction to all the new guys (like me!)

Wrestler of the night for me is Stephen J Eversol, great stuff from him on this show. From his promo with Mercedes where he tries on the Hellcats title for size (hilarious) to his darker stuff like coming onto her and then destroying Joe Stanton, he may not be the champion any more but he's keeping himself at the top of FIW with stuff like this. His match against HAYATO might not have gone to plan, but there's another option for a feud there going forward.

Loved the show, can't wait for SLAM!
