As Bob Dylan once said, the times, they are a-changin'. Not just with the unsure future of our glorious webhost and the archive of posts contained on this board, but FIW and e-wrestling in general.

Rather, I feel e-wrestling changed some time ago but only recently did our little bubble burst to include itself in it. Losing key people has not helped, but we did earn new key people in exchange. In pace with managing my own personal expectations, I feel like some of FIW's overall structure needs to be modified to suit the less-passionate needs of our roleplayers and future roelplayers from a community more used to bite-sized promotional bits and free/open RP as opposed to meaty promos.

I got nothing at the moment, but I just wanted you guys to know it was on my eyeline. If you guys have any suggestions I'm happy to hear them. I don't think anyone really wants this place to go anywhere, but it might actually be time to suit it more to the needs of the many than clinging madly to the glories of yesteryear.

LOTS of no-shows this week, but I'm willing to look past it. This was a hectic week with more than just our little corner of webspace being affected by the ZIF transfer. I'm hoping we all bring it in for the PPV. Because of that I don't have much else to say. The card is done, and will be up as soon as I finalize some graphics for it.

EDIT: Good lord to I have no business making a poster. Card's up, I'll do what I can about graphics in a day or so when I change the news ticker.

Please leave feedback for the writers and roleplayers; they worked hard to bring you this show and they want to know what you liked and what they can do better in the future. If you have an issue with the result of your match, specifically please PM me personally and we'll discuss it. Remember; if you and the management are doing their jobs, you should win about 50% of the time. However 50/50 booking is one way to book a wrestling show, but it's not very good when it's the only way. We're all doing our best to tell stories, here. Putting over your opponent and telling a good story are more important than arbitrary points in a win/loss column.

You either roll with evolution or get crushed beneath its wheels, that's how I've always seen it. That being said, I have no idea what the kids want anymore. I used to be with it, and then they changed what it was! Now what I'm with isn't it, and what's it seems weird and scary to me... but I'm glad you're showing some fore-sight, Wight. Maybe a shake up is what this place needs. I wish I could offer more than support, but ideas aren't exactly flooding my mind at the moment.

Still super happy with how Bloodbath is being booked. Finally, a wrestling company knows what to do with a monster! The writing for the show has been nothing short of stellar. Nir's Colt Regan super-human (totally a plug!) efforts are amazing, and we're damn lucky to have such a devoted dude.

No-showers are lame. Quit being lame, no-showers.

Special shout out to Dai for being awesome and pity-threading with me and Demona.

Yeah, same. The first step is figuring out what the hell people want and the second step is finding out how it's different from what we already do.

Yeah, we're real Fortunate Sons to have him. But if he had to leave, I'm sure we'd find a way to Winter's Soldier on.

... Demon Hunter.

Anyhoo, I know part of the reason for the low output is the way Twitter gives people to interact with one another sort of eliminates a lot of the traditional back-and-forth we'd see on the boards. Which sucks because that's my favorite part and Twitter is difficult and time-consuming to keep up with regularly. I end up missing a lot of stuff to judge for matches or just enjoy for storyline building because I can't be glued to the tweet machine 24/7.

It's why a lot of feds are angled now. RP feds are in the minority. The show runner doesn't necessarily HAVE to keep track of everything that's said; just book what they want while doing their best to pay respect to the characters and go from there. I'm pretty sure that's not the route I wanna go with FIW for a number of reasons, but I'd be a fool to ignore it entirely since it's how the vast majority of feds operate now, and not by a small margin.

Shout-out apology to Travis Morgan who I keep writing as Travis Blake because a lot of names fly past my face and I get easily confused.

The show from what i read last night was nice. Thanks to Nir, Wighty and everyone else who's been keeping this boat floating. Angled feds do seem fairly easy to come upon now a days though... I can dig angled and rp feds as well as hybrid feds, but that's because i've been in all of those at least once before and have some experience with them. There's tons of benefits and down sides to each of them, but that's with everything.

What ever IT is, i'll try my best to just go with the flow and do what ever i can to stay up to date with IT... Now i'm thinking of I.T. and not IT... and now i'm confusing my self... anyway!

The show was good and i'm happy to get a "W" outta the back and forth with crystal. It was fun and sorry if i messed anything up with that... i'm not used to doing things like that...

Anyway (again) glad to see the ppv is upon us! and happy to be able to be apart of it somehow. Might try to get some segments for it... but don't mark my word on it. I'm gonna try to go full force with this one and try my best! I hope my opponents will too! lets kick even more ass and show up this time guys! Let's make this a ppv to remember!
