The scene opens at what appears to be a loading dock to the Elite Sports Complex. Men are working dilligently unloading near by trucks. Items coming off the truck appear to be that of the weekly shipment for the next Slam! show. The camera pans widely at all the boxes marked for the various vending carts and as the camera comes full span it stops on the trailer of one of the trucks and stops. The camera focuses in on the truck as a voice is heard yelling across the docks that brings most work to a halt. "Who's the supervisor around here?" A burly man with a stub of a cigar hanging out of his mouth while he chews on it turns his head to see the Slam! General Manager, Jack Manson standing. His arms are folded and he has a look of impatience on his face and begins to tap his foot clearly getting aggrivated. Manson: "Do I have to ask again or do I have to start looking for a new dock supervisoer?" The burly man turns his body now in the direction of Jack and strides his way to the now preturbed boss. Supervisor: "What's can I do for yous?" Manson: "Are you the supervisor?" Supervisor: "Anyone else around here looks like the supervisa to yous?" Manson: "Actually that guy right there. *points to a nearby worker* Looks like he could use a promotion." Supervisor: *laughs nervously* "Right.....ummmm....What can I do for yous?" Manson shakes his head and looks to the floor while digging in his back pocket. He fishes out a piece of paper that looks like a order sheet with a series of letters and numbers clearly printed across the top. Manson: "I placed an order that is supposed to be here today. This is the tracking number. *points to the numbers and letters printed at the top of the paper*" Supervisor: "Ah sure....Its that truck right there *points to the truck in camera view* Everything your looking for is right there!" Manson: "Excellent! Open it up so I can take an inventory." The supervisor puts his thumb and middle finger together at the tips and then sticks them in his mouth. He lets out a shrieking whistle that catches the attention of all the workers. Supervisor: "One of yous open this truck for Mr. Manson!" A young man sprints into action grabbing a set of keys on a near by pillar and moves straight to the truck. He fumbles through the keys before pull the one out into his grasp. The man then squats down and grabs hold of a large pad lock on the door to the truck and unlocks it with the key. After a bit of work getting the large lock off the door the young man hoists the door up over his head and steps aside for Manson to enter for his inventory. Jack walks into the back of the trailer and begins to look around. He moves things about looking behind to make sure that nothing is missing from the order he placed. He then pulls the piece of paper up in front of his eyes and with his free hand begins to search around for a pen which he soon realizes he does not have. He looks to the dock supervisor who is standing by watching curiously. Jack spots a pen behind his ear and grabs it quickly suprising the unprepared man. Jack marks off everything on the list and then turns to exit the truck. Manson: "Ok its all there. Have a few of your guys unload it into the Stage Pit so that the Stage Crew can set this stuff around the arena for Slam!" Supervisor: "Sure thing. What is all this stuff for anyway?" Manson: "I've got a couple matches planned this week. This stuff should add a certain flare I'm looking for." Jack then begins to walk off not caring the supervisor is still speaking to him. Supervisor: "Those must be some matches with all this stuff. Can't wait to watch it, Jack!" The supervisor waits for a response but realizes Jack is not even turning his attention back. He then begins to instruct some workers to unload the trucks contents to the Stage Pit. |
