We fade into a libary like room, where we are exactly is unknown as the dimly lit room seems to have no windows. It appears to have quite a few rows of books, but what we are focused on is down at the end of one of the aisles. Sitting up against one of the book cases is onikage, holding a rather large looking book that nearly takes up his entire lap. His eyes scanning across the pages as the camera guy comes ever closer, once it is in more of a decent distance between the two the camera guy sits down. Now making the camera on eye level with onikage. His fingers run through his hair as he looks up. Onikage says in a rather cold tone almost as if he was a machine. Onikage: Underdog, One, The dog that is losing or has lost, or is at a disadvantage in a dogfight. Two, The weaker or worst off person. Three, Anyone in a postition of inferiority.... A smirk slowly crosses the lips of onikage as he let's out a deep exhale, letting out a nearly chuckle like scoff. Onikage: The Underdogs, that truly is what we should rename us. Whether it was by manson or by the fans or by whomever we've always been seen as such. But in the end we've always proved we truly WEREN'T the underdogs. We defeated bleak & rasage, we defeated the purists, we defeated the elite, we defeated you could disputedly bane security, we defeated martyn & tom o'shea, we defeated orion and tom o'shea. I could go on for quite some time, but i believe all watching have gotten my point. We AREN'T the underdogs....or weren't in all those matches. However lady irony likes to deal quite the hand....For if you look at the third describation of the underdog that IS us in this match. So the one match we might be able to prove we aren't the underdogs and we ARE for once the underdogs going into it.... The right hand of onikage reaches into the sides of his tights, pulling out that he had kept in there two pictures. The one he's holding up one of the team genocide. Marc and Josie posing with the FIW tag team championships in it. Onikage: Josie, i have mainly ever faced josie in tag matches. Well the Slam Battle Royale if you count that too. But truthfully josie and i have not crossed pathes too much on Slam. But as the records stand, she has more wins over the ordinary collectively then we have on her. Marc, each and every time kitten and i have faced him whether it be in tag or single action he has defeated us. We have YET to pin him, the false prophet. And oh how i'd not want to admit but it does stir a bit of rage within me marc that i have yet to beaten you. But you see marc, all good things come with time. When that defeat at our hands does occur i will enjoy it, i will take pleasure in it. Onikage sets the picture aside and picks up and shows the camera the other one. This one a bit older, it being of brute force and them posing with the Slam Tag Team belts before they had lost them to the purists. Onikage: Kain, well i do not really have any problems with kain. Besides the fact that he costed us the win two weeks ago in a tag match. On the win and losing end kitten does hold the advantage over him. However....his partner elrick...Another man that early in kitten's and my own FIW careers haunted us. Elrick has defeated us both quite a few times during our ECC division days. Before elrick grew greedy and decided to jump to the other brand. The sad thing for elrick is in that time all his challengers have gotten better, have improved. While he has improved very little, look around you elrick. Nightmare is soon to be the World Heavyweight Champion, your rival Bleak has a chance to become the Slam International Champion. And then kitten and i, we've defeated the team you couldn't in the purists. Not only that but we held the tag team championships twice while you've only held them once. And this sunday will mark the third time we've held the championships. We've all passed you by, the only one who truly missed you in the locker room was kain. Who floating in nothingness after you left.... Onikage shakes his head, his smirk growing wider as he tosses the picture. The picture floating down off view. Onikage: If you were to look at this in a technical view, you could claim brute force or us are the underdogs going into this match. But people have looked at kitten's and my matches in a technical view before, and we've proved them wrong. We've shown we can hang with the bigger players within this twisted game of chess. But the one thing we've failed to do is get that underdog monkey off our back, we've failed to make a real name for ourselves. To be put down in this books * pokes the book on his lap *, the title record books! You see marc can lay claim to even if not winning the World Heavyweight Championship that he was one of the only men to ever become close to being a Grand Slam Champion. Elrick i believe holds the record for most Extreme Chaos Championship reigns at seven. Kitten nor myself hold such records, but Anarachy in the United Kingdom shall change all that. It shall make us the ONLY complete team to ever hold the FIW tag team championship belts three times. It is this sunday where we shall leave our mark on FIW, it is this sunday where we prove we are no longer the underdogs. We are no longer the ones that are inferior, this sunday is where we prove that we belong in FIW. That we belong alongside other great tag teams of FIW's past..... Onikage shuts the book with a loud thud, dust blowing up into the air around them as it fades to black. |

The clink of metal on metal, a slight ping. The black on the screen begins to turn more brown, or rust, as the camera pans over to view a set of rusty pipes running up the wall and onto the ceiling. A ping again, this time a little louder. It is then that the camera pans back to see Marc Malicious in the far right hand corner, holding what seems to be a wrench, banging it against one of the numerous pipes in the room. It is now that the dim circle of light in the room seems to flicker to life for a moment and the whole room is seen, but just as quickly...it is again dim. However, the outline remains of all that was seen oh so briefly. The back wall of the room is lined with valves, controlling every input and output of the pressure of the lines throughout the arena. There is no kind of beauty to a room such as this. Dark and dreary are the only words to describe it as the soul of a man who would willingly be here has to be black. That brings us to our old friend, Marc. He stands there, alone, haunted by his obstacles that lay ahead. Two teams, four opponents, one set of titles. MM-The old days are over Onikage, but yet you look to the past for answers and guidance. So many have tried before, and all have failed. The past is dead and gone, violence has evolved into so much more, yet still you seek simplicity, you seek age and vintage, and Oni, you seek to steal the spotlight. You wish for records now hen they matter not. You wish now to be part of an elite group, yet you fail to realize that never before have you had to face Genocide with the tag team titles on the line. Never before have you had to taste the bitter taste of defeat at our hands in a title situation. Do you honestly think that I don't see through you? I do Oni, I can see exactly what you're thinking. You want to take this man's glory, this man's accomplishments, and you want to turn it into your personal tool. You want to have his name etched beneath yours on some list...why? Because that is the kind of man you are. You are never content to allow the past to rest, instead, you want to bottle it, put it on some shelf to collect dust like a trophy that now means nothing to you. You are trying to dethrone a string of legendary tag teams, and you are trying to stifle the legendary first reign that is now in progress. You are trying to destroy what I've built Oni, and that is unforgivable. Malicious takes the wrench one more time to the pipe next to him, causing the loudest ping sound yet. However, after this one, Marc drops the wrench onto the cement and the clatter echoes the room for a few moments and then there is silence, an awkward unrest that lies beneath the surface of calm. As if a duck on the water, visually everything is calm, but beneath the surface, the legs turn a mile a minute just to propel him forward. It is this feeling that leads Marc in his next venture. He begins to pace around the room, occasionally hitting a pipe with his knuckles in a softer manner that causes a dull clunk. It is slightly annoying, but it beats that awful silence. MM-About life and sanity. Family and vanity. No, the game hasn't changed, but the players have. If you want the past Oni, if you seek the old days, I suggest you invest in video archives, because if you want the old days, if you want the joy of competition...then look elsewhere. Because at Anarchy in the UK, it is about titles, it is about violence...and the one thing that hasn't changed...pride. I've stolen your pride before, and you best beware that I will do it again. You boast Oni, you boast week in and week out that you have the prowess, you have the ability, and you have the confidence to achieve victory and rise above being the underdog. However, what you've done, looking to the past for guidance, it shows that you have doubts. Those seeds, the doubtful seeds have infested your mind and they have sprouted into fear. Malicious can only begin to pour out what is going on in his mind. He knows that he is climbing a steep hill here. Brute Force and The Ordinary are too good of teams to be taking them lightly and he has to begin to seriously bone up on his technical wrestling. M-The history you hold onto, that past victorious string I have over you...my goal is to free you from it. I'll destroy you again and send you on down another route, besides that of bitterness. That route goes six feet deep, and sadly, it never breaks surface again. Heaven or hell have nothing to do with what will occur at Anarchy, all that will pertain to what we will endure is torture. Mortal torture of the human sense, nothing beyond the grave, nothing higher than the six of us will bring to the table. They call this the blood sport, and that they are right about. Blood sport is exactly it. Blood will rain from the rafters of the arena and then more will flow from your skull. The bloody mess that you will be when I am through, that will be all that is left of your legacy as a former two time champion. All you will have are the memories of success, Onikage, only memories. Malicious looks to the ceiling of the room, a droplet of water leaks down, not noticed before, but there is a small leak in one of the pipes. Marc laughs to himself. MM-Do you know where your breaking point is, Oni? You want to find out where that point is? Well this week, you'll find it...you'll exceed it...and then you'll be beaten, once and for all, by a man such as I. Colors, black white and gray. However, there are shades of each, and what you don't realize, is that you are always in the white. You have always been there, but what you don't realize that even white, when consumed by the darkness...looks black. That is why you are doubting whether or not you have what it takes. That doubt that you have will be your downfall, so a word of advice, wipe it from your mind. Push it away because if you don't, Josie and I will be victorious. Malicious again looks level to the camera, however, he slowly pans the room, inspecting the pipes again as they creak every once in a while. M-I don't care if the fans see no fear in you, because I see it. I see the fear that you try to hide. I'm not some senile old fart who has to go take viagra every few hours. I am an angry young man, and I am in search of victory, and of retained championships. I know I made a fatal mistake in our previous encounter. I left you breathing and I shouldn't have. However, now you realize that I am not one to fail twice the same way. I am going to correct my mistakes, and I am going to capitalize on your mistake. You're bound to make one at some time and that will be what aids me to victory. Perhaps my dreams are shattered, Oni, perhaps you'll be victorious...but when Sunday rolls around, even if you win, you'll have to think long and hard about this...are your dreams bullet proof? Are your dreams enough to allow you to hold on forever? Morpheus cracks a smile as the camera cuts away. |
