The scene fades in showing Samael seated in a steel folding chair, slightly leaning back, his hands on the back of his head. A gruff laughter can be heard from him as the camera closes in on him. Not much can be seen of the background because of the height and angle of the shot. That soon changes though as Samael stands up out of the chair and the camera backs up a little. As this happens we can see a few minor details in the back of Samael’s locker room. Specifically we see long wooden shelves, similar to those seen in the WWE locker rooms, though this one has nothing in it except a black gym bag. The laughter still continues from Samael for a few moments before fading away as he finally begins to speak. Samael: It seems the jokes still continue Kinloch. It seems you still refuse to take this match seriously. We’ve seen yet another clever attempt by Sam Kinloch to anger me and take my focus away from our match for the Openweight Title. Well you can make all the jokes you want to, you can continue to try to aggravate me by pretending I am not a challenge to you but you will only continue to fail no matter how many times you try. Nothing you do will take my mind away from my one goal for this match, taking that Openweight Title once again. No matter how much of a joke this match may seem to you, I will have the last laugh when you’re down on the mat after the three count and you are forced to stare up at the lights as the referee hands me that belt and raises my hand in victory over you! A cocky smile stretches over the face of Samael, obviously showing that Sam’s jokes aren’t succeeding in clouding his judgment with anger. He looks into the camera as he continues to speak. Samael: On top of the fact that you’re making jokes of the match there was that pathetic attempt at instilling fear in my with that last line in your little speech. You may have beaten me once Sam but there is on way in hell that I will ever fear you. You can make all the empty threats that you want from now until the time we step in the ring but none of it will mean a damn thing unless you can prove it in the ring yet again. Your words won’t mean a damn thing to anybody unless you can step in the ring and beat me once again and I guarantee that will not happen! I will not let myself be taken down and denied my chance to get back where I should have been long ago. I will not let you be a permanent roadblock in my path to the top! A look of determination appears on Samael’s face as stares into the camera, an ice cold stare in his eyes as he continues to speak. Samael: You’ll probably say that it’ll be no problem for you to do beat me seeing as how you’ve beaten me once but you see nobody that has beaten me before has been able to do it on more than on occasion. Not one person that has beaten me once was able to do it a second time, and that is because when they got the chance to try again I knew exactly what I was headed into. I knew exactly what I was up against the second time and there was no chance in hell that I was going to slip up one more time to the same person. That’s exactly how it’s going to be against you! There will be no way in hell that I will let you get by me once again and keep that title longer than you have. You have held that title long enough; you’ve brought it down below its level long enough. Now it’s time for me to bring it back up to the level that it’s supposed to be. It’s time for me to bring it back up from the dirt that it has been dragged through since the day that I lost it and that is exactly what I will do when we step in the ring, I will bring it back up where it should be. A more serious look replaces the laughter and smile that accompanied it. The seriousness quickly takes over his expression, the cold, evil look in his eyes still existent in them as he continues to speak. Samael: The days continue to count down until the hour when I retake my spot as Openweight Champion. They count down until I reach the next stepping-stone to the top of TNT. I will soon reach the next rung of the ladder to the top and soon after that I will continue on to bigger and better things than the Openweight Championship. My victory and subsequent title reign from this match is a mere pit stop on the road to my final destination as reigning champion over all of FIW. Your final destination however will be down in the depths of Hell as the Death Angel carries you to the Unholy Trinity! Samael starts pacing back and forth, his gaze fixated on the camera almost as if he is staring right at Sam Kinloch herself, his expression in his face unchanged. He stops pacing and stands directly in front of the camera as he speaks. Samael: Go ahead and keep making all those jokes now, while you still can Kinloch, keep thinking that I can’t beat you. But keep in mind that despite the fact that you beat me once, the notion you have in your head that it can easily be done once again is only serving one purpose; and that is to provide you with a false sense a security. It is making you believe that I stand no chance in the ring against you, but as I said, lighting never struck twice for any of my opponents and it will sure as hell not happen for you either. Soon you will see that the pedestal you stand on can and will soon be pulled out from under you and you will come crashing down as a result of the defeat by me. You can keep that false sense of security until the day of the match but when that day comes you will see that it will all crumble underneath you! The cold look in Samael’s eyes gradually begins to fade away but it still exists for a moment as he continues to speak. Samael: You know, just as you pointed out in your little speech, there is much talk of death in the news these days. Quite a few people have unfortunately lost their lives recently. In just a few more days there will even more, this time however there will be a celebration to follow. You see, just like in the movie The Wizard of Oz, the world will rejoice because by the nights end, by the time the bell rings signaling my victory of Sam Kinloch everybody will see that the witch…is DEAD! Samael stares into the camera for a few moments before stepping out of the shot. The camera stays in place showing the empty room Samael was in before it fades to black. |
