Bleak is shown inside his locker room viewing a tape from Wrestlemania XX when Chris Benoit and Eddie Guerrero embraced as both the WWE Champion and World Champion. Bleak smiles and then stops the tape. He pops in another, a match from Wrestlemania XII when Shawn Michaels won the WWE Championship from Bret Hart after a grueling 60 minute Iron Man Match. Bleak pauses the tape as Shawn Michaels is celebrating, turns around and finally breaks his silence.

Bleak: I have sat here all day and viewed these wonderful matches with awesome competitors in them. It’s just like the film “Any Given Sunday.” “Any given Sunday a hero will rise and a legend will fall.” Nothing could convey what we as athletes go for each time we have a title shot. The butterflies begin to fill our stomach as the hour draws near. We hear our theme music hit and we take that walk down that aisle, as Ric Flair has said. We enter the ring and await our opponents and wonder what shape he’s in and wonder if he is at his best, what it will take to beat them. Then finally the bell rings and like cattle we strike and begin to fight it out until either the champion comes out victorious once again or the challenger steals the show and the former challenger leaves feeling the agony of defeat.

Bleak rubs his chin and reflects on the matches that he’s had in his career. He smiles for a moment and then continues.

Bleak: It’s exactly like when Hulk Hogan and Ultimate Warrior battled it out at Wrestlemania VI and the crowd knew that at that moment one of these men would have to lose. They were both considered in their prime at the time and the notion that one of these men might come away defeated was almost too much too handle. Finally it happened, The Ultimate Warrior had gotten the gorilla press slam on Hulk Hogan and then he got down for the cover. The Ultimate Warrior was victorious, he had beaten the unbeatable in the immortal Hulk Hogan and people began to rub their eyes, not believing what was before their very eyes. Hulk Hogan, the champion had been defeated. The Ultimate Warrior held up both the WWE Championship and the Intercontinental Championship at one time and celebrated his victory. Those live in the arena remember it all to this very day.

Bleak closes his eyes for a moment, soaking in the moments that wrestlers must live for.

Bleak: Another great moment which stands out is the match between The Rock and Hulk Hogan at Wrestlemania X-8. Hulk Hogan went into the match as the heel and as soon as he entered every person in that arena wanted nothing more than to cheer Hulk Hogan. Hulk Hogan had come back to Wrestlemania and people would boo someone they admired so much. The match itself will not live on forever but the moment will forever be inscribed in the annals of time. Great moments like these are what makes the pain and anguish worth it. There are moments here in FIW that surpass the levels that I have describes above which will live forever.

Bleak rests his hand on his chin and closes his eyes, he smiles and then continues on.

Bleak: All of those moments have been great and mean different things to different people. It’s the glory which keeps us going for as long as possible. Those moments are awesome.

Bleak kicks the monitor over and then throws the chair in his locker room half way across the room as it slams into the wall on the opposite side.

Bleak: But those moments don’t mean a god damned thing! Now I am the future! I am the entity! I am the force to be reckoned with! I will no longer step back and let people rise above me! I will not allow people like Hutch and Martyn to rise above me once more and send Bleak into nothingness like some snot nosed little punk! I will make my own moments! I will create my legacy! And then the legacy of Ric Flair, Bret Hart, HHH, Undertaker and HBK will mean nothing! People will look back on Anarchy in the UK 2005 and remember it not for the World Title match or the Dual Crown match but for the Slam! International Championship match when Bleak began his legacy and defeated both Martyn and Hutch, much like Chris Benoit but even more amazing. I am not going to leave this arena without that International Title. My plan is still to protect Jack Manson’s investment, but to also show the world that Martyn and Hutch are yesterday’s news.

Bleak calms himself down and then inhales and exhales deeply.

Bleak: Martyn, you’d better shine the title up real nice. Hell, you’d better have it professionally shined and have my name plate attached already because that title is as good as mine.

Bleak smirks and looks up at the ceiling, imagining his moment when he creates another moment to talk about for years to come.
