"The past, no matter how many times I try to bury it for some strange reason it just claws it's way out of the dirt." As the scene opens, we find the backyard brawler sitting on the edge of a bed. He must be in hotel because it looks too nice to be Cody's place, that and the lack of posters on the wall. He kept his head down, not even looking at the camera, the only way you could tell it was him was his voice and choice of attire; a black sleeveless shirt and some blue jeans. Generic, but the fact that he was wearing it made the difference. "In the past, I did a few things I wasn't exactly proud of, kinda landed me in weekly sessions with egghead. After those sessions, I thought everything was gonna change, until I found out a few old friends were here. Namely; Erick Holland, Nathaniel Alexander..." Alexander's name was said in more of a growl, McGinnis obviously having not gotten over the events nearing NGIW's hiatus. "Then, my opponent for Fallout Scott Knight. An all around jackass taking order from an even bigger one. He doesn't think for himself, which makes him a dangerous opponent but I not saying he isn't beatable. I'm a guy coming from a place that taught me, if you don't have something of importance, then you have nothing to lose. At this point, I have everything to prove but nothing to lose." He raised his head, looking at the camera as if actually talking to someone in person. "Scott, remember what I said I'd do if I ever got back in the ring with you? That still stands, and the fact I am momentary your biggest threat you should go ahead and try to get those paid days off early. I know, you're wondering "What can this guy do to me?" Well let me repeat myself, I have nothing to lose, and you know what they say; A man with nothing to lose is pretty dangerous." The hell is that supposed to mean? Well we won't find out because soon after his final words McGinnis walks out of frame. (OOC: Sorry for the late RP (and bad quality), had a lot on my plate this week) |
