The scene opens in a small room, empty aside from a lone chair in the center of the room and the man occupying the chair. The man we can now recognize as new FIW wrestler Anthony Royal, fresh off his debut. Royal is staring off into space. Without acknowledging the camera, he begins to speak. Royal: All of my life, people have said things about me. Derogatory things. Hurtful things. They have said that I’m sick, that I’m twisted, that I’m evil. I resent those things, because none of them hold any truths. You see, all I’ve ever been is a man who says he’s going to do something, then goes out and does it. Frankly, I don’t see anything wrong with that. No, as far as I’m concerned, I’m an honest and decent man. Royal finally looks into the camera and continues to speak. : Royal: Last week, I made my FIW debut against Dragon. Going into that match, I made no secrets about what I intended to do. I intended to dominate Dragon. I intended to take Dragon and crush him under my boot. And that’s exactly what I did. But it seems people have taken umbrage with what I did after pinning his shoulders to the mat. People are saying that attacking Dragon after I already had defeated him was “unnecessary” and “sadistic.” But, those people would be wrong. Royal shakes his head. Royal: I told Dragon that he would be nothing more than a victim, and he needed to accept that. But, he refused. He refused to accept his fate and he tried to be a hero. So, I had to teach him a lesson, and I had to teach a lesson to everyone who was watching as to what happens when one tries to be a hero. I had to teach a lesson as to what happens to one when they make the mistake of trying to stop the inevitable and stand against me. People who make such a mistake get put down, just like Dragon did. My rise can’t be stopped, and it continues this week on Fallout when I face a man called Priest. Royal laughs at the mention of his opponent. Royal: So, Priest, you fancy yourself the “conscience” of Full Intensity Wrestling, eh? Well, if that’s the case, I must say you are doing a pitiful job, because I look around this place and see nothing but disgraced parasites that deserve nothing but sorrow. A true conscience would get rid of the scum, but you’ve failed miserably to do that, and worse yet, I don’t think you’ve even tried. Well fear not, because a cleansing is precisely what I intend to bring to FIW and I suppose it starts with you. Perhaps I will be taking your place as the so-called “conscience” when it’s all said and done. Royal smirks and lets out and laugh. Royal: It’s really almost sad though, Priest, I mean, a man of God such as you coming face to face with me. The God who you have dedicated your life to has forsaken you by sending you my away. It makes me wonder what terrible sins you have hidden deep inside of your soul for your God to give you a punishment as severe as this. But, I guess I can take solace in the fact that you probably deserve the massacre I am about to rain down upon you. Royal glares into the camera with evil in his eyes. Royal: You pretend to be such a righteous man, but in reality, underneath your biblical mask, you’re just as dark as the rest of us. You dedicate your life to God not because of true righteousness, not because of a purity of heart. No, you dedicate your life to God because you want what everyone wants. You want salvation. You don’t want to be eaten alive by your sins. You beg and you plead to be saved. But me, Priest? I realized a long time ago what true salvation is. I don’t need salvation because I saved myself. And, if you give me the chance, I can do the same for you. Royal pauses, letting his words momentarily linger. Royal: God warned Noah of the storm He was about to unleash on the world and allowed him to be saved. I could do the same for you. I could give you the tools you need to be saved. Or, I could let you drown with the rest of the doomed souls. The choice is yours. Do you put your pride aside and grovel before me, or do you make the same mistake that Dragon did and try to be the hero? In reality it doesn’t matter, because either way, eventually, you will grovel like the rest of them. Eventually, you will look up upon my ascension to the top. It’s simply a matter of whether you do it voluntarily, or I have to force you. The choice lies solely with you. Make the right one. I’ll pray for you Royal laughs and flashes the camera an evil smile. Royal: My name is Anthony Royal, and my rise has only just begun. With that, Royal gets up from his chair and walks away, out of the view of the camera as the scene fades to black. |
