"Honestly, I don't know what's up with these guys... but I ain't a fan of 'em"

The scene opens and we find The Insane Hero himself alongside the Amazing one, Johnny Amazing. The setting seemed to be slightly different, more comfortable and less locker-roomish. We see McGinnis holding an wireless X-Box controller, a smirk on his face as we hear "METSU SHORYUKEN!" off screen.

"Is that why you're doing that to 'em?"

Johnny looks up from his cell phone, watches the screen for a moment, arches an eyebrow, and then turns to Cody with the question. Clearly, he thinks Cody is referring to the characters on the screen. I'm sure that's not accurate, though.

"These guys? Oh, I'd like them if one of them would stop spamming Electric Thunder!"

He yelled at what you could guess is a screen, glaring over in the same direction before getting back on topic.

"But, I was talking about Royal and Gray. They just, press some buttons for some reason, especially Darian don't even know why, I just don't like him. Same can be said for Royal, but i'd rather stay away from him before someone ends up beating the life outta 'em."

Someone? Who, Johnny? Unless he's talking about himself, who else would do something like that?

"Oh. Right."

Realizing that he's way too out of the loop, he drops his phone onto the table and gives his full attention to... the TV screen. Video games are a far more pleasant distraction than stalking Mark Cannon's Twitter to see if he's saying any more douchey things.

"Yeah, some guys really know how to be Grade-A douches."

That applies to the Twitter feed he was stalking, but he's satisfied that he feels it's also a good reference to their opponents this week.

"But it's cool. Let 'em say whatever they want. They don't even know who they're going up against."

He's not being literal. Clearly Gray and Royal know who Cody and Johnny are.

"You'd think they'd show a little respect, then again when is that ever really the case? You heard what they had to say about us, right?"

"Uh... more or less."

That's Johnny's guilty way of admitting that he's been a tad distracted.

"I'm not focused and you're crazy."

He does a slight jazz-hands when describing Cody as crazy.

"Observant gentlemen, huh?"

That was sarcasm from Johnny... I think.

"Maybe we should knock a little bit more than a little bit of sense into them, I would be careful though; hit 'em too hard and we might make it worse"

McGinnis chuckled lightly as off screen we hear "YOU WIN!"

"Nice."

Johnny smiles at the TV and then glances towards Cody.

"Honesty, I don't give a shit. After this week, I hope I never have to see either one of them again."

The odds of that are unlikely given that they are in the same company. They're bound to cross paths again and Johnny knows this.

"I can't wait for them to see how dangerous a sane Cody is. They think you're crazy, but they have no idea what they're going into."

Johnny chuckles at the thought. He's actually seen what Cody can do. Maybe not his limits, but he's seen enough.

"That's not the only thing they're wrong about, though. I am focused. I may be looking to Mark, but part of being the Good Guy is doing things the right way. That means I get in the ring and take care of my business. Unfortunately for me, my business this week isn't Mark Cannon."

"Hey, keep your eye on the ball but never off the target."

Wise words from the people's nerd.

"Rock on."

Johnny raises a fist for Cody to bump back as a show of absolute understanding.

"Hey. If you're tired of them spamming the same moves, I'll give it a go. I promise you'll be able to kick my ass with absolutely no problem. A stark contrast to if we ever get put against each other in the ring."

He shoots a grin in Cody's direction and picks up the extra controller.
