A red carpet covers a walkway to a movie theater, where a new "hit blockbuster" is being shown to celebrities. A white limousine approaches and the fans standing on the other side of the railing start squeezing together to catch an eye at who it is. Out steps "The Portrait" Darian Gray, outfitted in a luxurious white suit, likely to match the limo. Immediately, anyone who has any idea of who he is and what he stands for begins booing him. He smiles and waves, allowing the limo driver to close the door behind him. One fan in particular sticks out. Not for their looks but their words.

Random Fan: Darian! Darian! Over here! Can I talk to you for a second?

Being the only fan to pay attention to Darian made Darian feel special. He strutted his way over to the significantly smaller fan, eyeing him down. His serious mood is enough to put fear in the young adult. Darian watches as the fan tries to swallow the fear unsuccessfully.

Darian: Of course you can! What's your question?

The fan is completely caught off guard by the rather light-hearted words from the 6'5" man. In the fan's hand is a camera, making sure he can get everything out of this encounter to post on his "important" wrestling blog.

Random Fan: Oh.. uh.. uh.. I'm good, thank you sir... Anyways, the other fans and I must know.. What are your thoughts on Rise of a Legend? What does this show mean to you?

Darian: Really? Can I not escape this crazy wrestling fanbase of mine for one night?

Gray notices the camera on him and lets out a sigh.

Darian: Alright, alright. Let's get this over with. Rise of a Legend is a disappointment... It's a disgrace! Where do I even start? Let's see.. We have a convict versus an irrelevant. An addict taking on a goody two shoes. We have two matches filled with six uggos! Maybe you don't understand.. That is twelve uggos total! Granted, I'm the only good looking one in FIW..

Darian trails off about himself for a moment and then realizes that he never finished what he was saying.

Darian:Harlowe looking to beat some sense into his former teacher? Yawn... What else..? Did I mention psycho versus "scary" guy? And then there's that other psychopath who actually managed to get a belt, Aaron Hollan. He's in a match with somebody.. I heard he got Scott Baio out of retirement so that he could easily defend his Fighting Spirit Championship. Wait.. no.. Maybe it's Scott M. Night.. The twist is that he somehow got a title shot. What matters is I think Aaron's afraid of me. Gimme a holler when you're ready for the big show, Aaron.

Gray gives a little "call me" sign to the camera and then laughs it off.

Darian: We also have a guy that likes to beat people's meat.. They call him the butcher or something, I dunno.. He's with some dumb blond broad. Oh, sorry.. Didn't mean to say dumb twice.. Meatbeat boy is fighting generic big star.. Oh! And the head of the company, James Schwartz, is wrestling! That man should be in retirement... And our main event is between a cheater and a trickster. Can anyone tell me why I'm not in the main event?

Another fan overhears Gray's monologue and shouts back "Yeah, it's 'cause you suck!". "The Portait" waves off the other fan, finding a way to push the comment aside like a true celebrity.

Random Fan: That's great stuff, Mr. Gray! Thank you! But actually.. um.. if it wasn't too much, maybe you could speak on your own match?

The fan "interviewing" the FIW star seems largely uninterested in what he has to say about the other matches. Darian rolls his eyes. He's lucky that they didn't explode from rolling them that hard.

Darian: You really want me to talk about me fighting Goofy McDumbass and Susan Boyal? I thought I wouldn't have to. I really didn't think I'd ever have to. They're such jokes, I can't even fathom why they're in FIW. And you just heard about all the jokes in FIW but these two are the absolute biggest. You know what you'll be hearing out of those two following Rise of a Legend?

The fan shrugs and remains silent.

Darian: Exactly! THAT! You may hear some background noise, like my fans and the idiots that boo me, but those other two will be silent just like you. Darian Gray will RISE at Rise of a Legend. Because Darian Gray IS a legend. And the most beautiful legend to ever exist is just about done with this so-called interview for your blog. Remember to like and subscribe, or whatever it is you weird people do!

There's a stutter as the fan tries to call him back but Darian is long gone.
