The Insane Hero

Silence, that's all we hear after a door closing shut and someone leaning up against a wall. As the scene opens we find McGinnis with his arms crossed, leaning against the wall as he looked around absently, his head low. Visible was a hello kitty bandage on Cody's chin, given to him by a fan after the craziness that took place. After a moment, he finally spoke up looking at Johnny who paces back and forth, looking generally uncomfortable in his own skin. He rolls his shoulders intermittently and cranes his neck a time or two. It almost looks like he's trying to crawl out of his skin. "How's your sister? There was a usually unseen seriousness in his tone, mixed with a bit of anger. Even though anyone could see this, he tried his best to hide it in a low speaking voice. Johnny comes to a sudden stop at the question and turns to look directly at Cody. There's something in Johnny's eyes that is not Johnny. It's a darkness that doesn't seem to bother Cody, but it's certainly unusual for our viewing audience. "She'll be fine." He answers the question almost hesitantly and not with much confidence in his answer. It's not really the physical hit she took that he's worried about, though. Johnny resumes his pacing, but it only lasts for a couple seconds before he stops once again. "I'm killing that fucker in that cage." Johnny delivers this news to Cody, almost as if it's some kind of warning to Cody. Somehow, I doubt the Insane Hero is going to care too much if Mark doesn't walk out of that cage. "Make it slow..." He lowered his head once again, the darkness in his voice once again apparent. "I'd do it myself, but that's not my place right now. My place is getting ready for the double homicide charges I'm gonna get after the Pay-Per-View. I had that son of a bitch right where I wanted him!" BANG! The side of Cody's fist hit the wall behind, letting out some frustration. "I could have ended it right fucking there then Royal showed up!" It was obvious Cody thought he'd be the one to end Mark Cannon and truthfully, he was pretty damn close. Johnny let's out a breath that sounds more like a sigh. "If you need help out there... I'm not trying to say you can't handle yourself but the odds aren't in your favor here. So, if you need the help then just ask." Johnny holds his hands up in early surrender in case Cody might want to take offense to the offer. So he just puts it out there and leaves in Cody's hands. "Same offer goes to you, I wouldn't mind fuckin' Cannon up a little bit myself." There was more behind why he offered, but didn't voice it. The offer does get a smile and even a laugh out of Johnny. He seems to find amusement in people wanting to hurt Mark Cannon. Scary. "Thanks. But I've got him locked in a cage. Nowhere for him to go until I'm done with him. And even then, doubt he'll be able to go far." Johnny flashes another smile, this one is scarier than the laugh at Cody wanting to hurt Mark. "Hey, thought I was was supposed to be the crazy one here. McGinnis made a joke just the lighten the mood a bit, didn't do much for him but at least he laughed a bit. "What can I say? I learned a lot from watching you." That smile and laugh is a bit less scary than the previous one. At least it seems friendly and that's a big difference. "And I'm hoping to learn more before I get in that cage with Mark. I can't wait to see what you've got in store for Royal and Gray." McGinnis gives a chuckle. "I can't either" Slowly, we begin fading to black as the video ends. |
