As our scene opens the Texas landscape flashes by explaining the loud rumble in the back ground. Positioned behind the steering wheel of a 707 horse power, 2015 Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat, Ethan Adams keeps his focus on Interstate 35 as he accelerates. He turns his head over his left shoulder checking his blind spot and then to his rear view mirror which brings a smile to his face as he signals and merges left into the far lane. The camera pans down to the steering console revealing the speedometer and watches it creep from 75 mph to 80 mph, as the camera pans back up to Ethan it catches him gazing into the rear view mirror once again and turns to see what he is looking at. Folded up neatly and laying across the center of the two toned, gold and black rear seat is the Undisputed International Championship belt. Ethan Adams: “You were the victim of unfortunate circumstances, McGrath.” Ethan pops the clutch with his left foot and uses his right hand to shift the transmission to a higher gear, accelerating the car up past 80 mph as the vehicle sails down the interstate. Ethan Adams: “But it was not ETHAN ADAMS that victimized you. You fell victim to the antics of a power hungry authority figure. A man that was so insecure of his position of power that he had to falsify a drug test when his authority was questioned. Now here you sit….” He glances over to the camera and then back up into the rear view mirror to the Undisputed International Championship sitting in the back seat. Ethan Adams: “…fighting for something you never lost. All because of a poor decision made by Schwartz in an effort to show his penis is bigger than any one man in this promotion.” A quick flip of the hand turns on the right blinker and Ethan merges across the highway taking all three lanes as he down shifts, pulling off onto an exit and eventually coming to a stop at a traffic light controlled intersection. Ethan Adams: “So I say to you, McGrath…much like you said to me. If you want it…come and get it.” The tick of the turn signal continues as the light turns from red to green. Ethan pops the clutch, shifts and floors it roasting his tires around the corner leaving the smoke of the burnt rubber billowing behind him. Ethan Adams: “I’m not hard to find…” Ethan flashes a grin at the camera and looks into the rear view mirror this time not to look at the belt but the smoke dissipating behind him. Ethan Adams: “…in fact I encourage you to come and find me. As you have seen I do not fear you or the moniker you’ve certainly given yourself to seem scarier.” Ethan scoffs as he says the word, scarier and continues on. Ethan Adams: “Bloodbath….” He shakes his head and rolls his eyes. Ethan Adams: “You may have been something in that backyard promotion you came from, but here in Full Intensity Wrestling you’ll have to learn to take the back seat to ETHAN ADAMS.” Once more his eyes look into the rear view mirror at the Undisputed International Championship belt. He pops the clutch and shifts down once more as he drives along a crowded street with several large buildings and his car rumbles to a halt in front of one of the buildings. A man dressed in a valet outfit comes running around the car and pulls the door open for Adams. Ethan steps his foot out the door and slides a pair of dark sunglasses over his eyes as he looks about with a smug look on his face. Ethan Adams: “When you arrived in FIW you found yourself in the right place at the right time. Times now have changed, you are in the right place, but I’m afraid your timing is off. You see at Rise of a Legend…” Ethan reaches down pressing the lever on the seat bringing the seat back forward and reaches in grabbing the belt from its resting place on the seat. As he draws the championship out of the back car he flips it up and over his shoulder and then slides the seat back. Ethan Adams: “…ETHAN ADAMS walks in with the belt and walks out the champion. You can make me bleed, you can try and break me….you certainly will not be the first and most certainly will not be the last. ETHAN ADAMS has faced the big…the bad…the very best Full Intensity Wrestling has to offer. You are no different than the rest, McGrath.” Adams steps around the car and looks up to the massive building in front of him. The Blue Cypress Hotel in Arlington, Texas the sight of Full Intensity Wrestling’s pay per view, Rise of a Legend. Ethan Adams: “Just another rung to climb in the rise of this LEGEND!” He smiles into the camera and gives the belt a slap with his left hand as a bellman follow after with his bags. The door man greets him on the way into the hotel and pulls the door open for Ethan to enter the building as our scene ends. |
