The scene fades up as once again we find ourselves at the training facility where the self-proclaimed Diamond Standard, Nathaniel Alexander had been working out earlier. Now done with his workout, the big man is exiting the facility, duffle bag in tow and car keys in his other hand. He locks the door to the facility before closing it. As he walks toward his car, he presses the button on the key fob, shutting off the alarm.

As Nathaniel gets to his car, the camera closes in on him. He places his duffle bag in the trunk of the car before closing it and facing the camera, leaning on the back of his car.

"You know, they say 'in life, change is the only constant.' Things all around you can change as if at the flip of a switch, at the drop of a hat."

Nathaniel holds up his hands as he says "all around you" as a representation of it.

"And despite that fact, you still have people that are stanchly against change…for whatever reason. You have people in all walks of life, clinging to the things they hold dear, clinging to the things in life they believe they must keep."

A puzzled look appears on Nathaniel's face as he utters that last sentence, almost as if it makes no sense to him. Of course, it's hard to say if the fact that he said it makes no sense to him, or the idea of people resisting change is what makes no sense to him. Anyway, that look quickly fades away as the big man continues.

"Take FIW, for instance. Just last week at Revolt, we saw James Schwartz's old lady pretty much putting the man in his place and saying she was usurping his power whenever she damn well pleases. Naturally, Mr. Schwartz was completely against the idea, and with good reason, of course."

Nathaniel shrugs his shoulders as if conceding to the point he just made.

"Then…we have Rurik Kyrchek."

A slight smirk appears on Nathaniel's face as he looks away from the camera for a brief second.

"Now, Krychek, I have to admit you're a bit of a…a mystery in my view. You see, it's clear you try and push to make changes in your career, maybe gain a bit more popularity; am I right? You, like most others in the company, me included, are stuck on the idea of grabbing that proverbial brass ring. And yet, you're one of those in my example that clings to any little thing they hold dear."

The big man nods and points an index finger, looking as if he believes he's on to something here.

"Krychek, you walk around with that Grand Prix title slung over your shoulder. You make sure people see it no matter where you go, don't you? And really, I can't blame you…I mean, who wouldn't want to show it off? You've got to be proud of your accomplishment in gaining that title, right Krychek?!"

Nathaniel pumps his fist in the air when he says "proud," again, symbolically representing it.

"But that's not really why you walk around with it, is it, Krychek? That's not really why you always have it slung over your shoulder, is it?"

Nathaniel holds out a finger, shaking it as if to say "no" non-verbally.

"No, of course not! That's not why at all. You see, it's clear to me, Krychek; that the only reason you cling so violently to that Grand Prix title is because that's the only thing you have now. It's all that you have, it's everything you hold dear and the second you sensed a threat to it…the second…you sensed your possession of that title was threatened, not only did you go into a mode of defense against that threat…against me…but you clung even harder to that title, didn't you? And not only that, you also set your sights on that Dual Crown title…maybe believing that you don't stand a chance in keeping that Grand Prix title, so you decided to find a new prize to try and claim as your own."

Nathaniel nods, a stern look etched into his face.

"But unfortunately for you, Krychek, that's just not going to happen."

This time the big man shakes his head "no."

"Another major change that has occurred in FIW is the creation of a new pay-per-view event, Rise of a Legend and the reintroduction of the Panopticon, a structure that, as you've no-doubt heard by now, hasn't been seen in FIW in years. And I get first crack at it along with Krychek and four others."

Nathaniel rubs his hands together, an almost-maniacal smirk appearing on his face.

"As for the other competitors in that match, there are at least two others that are clearly not resistant to change, and I would argue they're even pushing harder than Krychek is; 'The Entertainer' Mungrel and the living, breathing Sasquatch himself, Rougarou. Now, Mungrel, I think I've already made my point pretty clear with you after our main event match at Fallout, my friend. You think this #1 Contender's match is going to cement your new-and-improved journey, but you're sadly mistaken, buddy-boy! You think this is going to put you back up on that perch once again, but that's just not going to happen as long as I'm around. As for Rougarou; for your information, big man, as far as I'm concerned, Samael is dead and buried right in here!"

Nathaniel taps his chest with his hand, pointing out that that's Samael's resting place.

"But don't be fooled, my friend; you see, because of the fact that Samael is still within me, that makes me every bit as dangerous as The Death Angel always has been. I'm every bit as volatile as he ever was, but trust me when I tell you this, Rougarou…you don't want that man back here. You see, even I can be resistant to change sometimes. But I'll tell you what kind of changes I'm not resistant to. That Dual Crown title? That's going to be mine…plain and simple. I couldn't give a shit less who's got the thing at the end of the night on the 30th. The fact is after that night, whoever has that title…your days are numbered. That title, will be mine…"

The look on Nathaniel's face at this point…well, let's just say if looks could kill, everyone watching this promo would be dead about now. With that emphatic statement, Nathaniel gets to his feet and walks to the driver's side of his car, gets in and peels out of the parking lot leaving the cameraman in a cloud of smoke from the burned rubber on his wheels.

Fad out.
